Google Wave, yapı itibariyle acayip geliştirilebilir bir şekilde yapılmış. Yani dinamik olarak sürekli gelişebilecek bir uygulama. Sürekli sahibinin eline bakmıyor. Senin benim gibi adamın yazdığı uygulamaları üstünde çalıştırılabiliyor. Bunları eklemek için iki yol var:

1) Mail adresi gibi uygulama adresleri var. Bunları “Contacts” kısmına ekliyorsunuz ve yeni açtığınız wave’e bu “kişi”yi de davet edip kullanabiliyorsunuz.

2) Wave’de mesaj yazma yerini açtıktan sonra üst düzenleme şeridinin en sağıdaki yeşil yap-boz simgesine tıklayıp uygulamaların “Add Gadget by URL”ye basıldığında açılan küçük text kutusuna uygulama URL’sini yazarak kullanmak.

When I was in Germany a while ago I found 2 bugs in the game Sudoku. Today I was checking some data on my hard-disk and I came across some footage from when I encountered the bugs. It’s maybe a few months old but the bugs are still there .

It’s the Sudoku game that is originally installed on the mobile phone.

Bug 1:

The focus of an element can be moved to it’s neighbors.

You can reproduce it easily. Just click your left or right button very fast, just to switch from field to field. If you click for example your left button several times as fast as you can push, you will see that the focus is moving pixel by pixel. Finally if you press some more and faster you can set the focus on (for example) the grid element X2Y2 while the actual input is still on element X1Y2.

Bug 2:

The game freezes and keeps flashing the winning smiley and some other things.

I got this when I did the first bug (the focus was moved to the next grid instead on the original grid) and then I completed the Sudoku correctly. The first thing I saw was the ‘winning-smiley’ but then it kept flashing random stuff. So that was not so normal . Pressing the OK button didn’t work (neither the red-icon-phone-button). The only thing that worked was pressing the button on top of the mobile phone for a few seconds so that the mobile phone was turned off.

I didn’t manage to reproduce this bug, I’m sorry

…but still I was smart enough to capture a little movie from from this game going nuts!

Why do I always find such useless but cool things?!

Hola a todos, navegando en la internet encontré una particular forma de resolver el cubo de rubik. Esto me llamo la atención, porque es un juego muy entretenido y por la manera en que lo resuelven, encuentran algoritmos muy útiles para algunas formas básicas (ver aquí) y también hacen algunos ejemplos útiles para verlos (ver aquí), eso es bien interesante porque se podría matematizar.

Digo esto porque recuerdo mucho un trabajo de grado de Milton Rodríguez estudiante de la Universidad del Tolima quien jugaba con los cuadrados mágicos y la geometría finita. Los cuadrados mágicos son muy divertidos, incluso parecen formas simples de los famosos sudokus. Milton inventa un algoritmo para solucionar estos cuadrados y resulta muy útil y bien interesante. Si esto se puedo realizar para los cuadrados mágicos, porque no hacerlo para el cubo de rubik o para los sudokus, serían excelentes trabajos de grados para estudiar.

She read somewhere that when you suffer from brain fog, you should engage in something that uses a different part of the brain.

Hence, sudoku.

Does it help? I wondered.

“I don’t know,” she says.

I close the door on my way out, leaving Mom hiding in the bathroom, that most sacred of all mommy hiding places.  Doing sudoku.

That was a long title.

Today, instead of going to singing rehearsals (which I think now that I think about it, I was actually aware of last week, then forgot about until last night) I went out with Katherine again. We went to the city to “research” webcams, speakers etc. Also, I had to run errands.

Got to the Glen uber early because I couldn’t be bothered catching a bus so got mom to drop me off as she went to work, meaning I waited around at Maccas using their free wifi for about an hour. Got the 10:11 train, and Katherine got on at Mt Waverley. This doesn’t sound exciting. It isn’t.

Got to Melbourne Central and needed to pee. Then got Caramellatte. Still isn’t that exciting.

(What WAS funny, however, as right before I went into the bathroom I told Katherine to “stay here” and the look she gave me could only be described as “oh-no-you-didn’t-just-treat-me-like-your-dog”.)

So first of all we went to Myer to look at speakers. It took ages to find the entertainment section because we had to go down down down down.

Katherine also looked at cameras because she wants a DSLR. Anyone gonna help her out? Didn’t think so.

By the way, and this has been bugging me all day; to my friends: do any of you use Versace New Woman? Because Katherine was wearing it, and I SWEAR I know someone else who wears it but I cannot for my LIFE remember who. It would, I assume, be someone who I get close enough to smell. Just ignore how ducking perverted I sound right now.

I think that’s the bottle. Google does tend to duck with me sometimes.

Then we left Melbourne Central and went to Bourke St to head for JB. We went into Target first, and got lost. I told her to “ask the Asian chick!” but she refused to. “We can find it ourselves!” “You’re such a guy!” “What?!” “Guys never ask for directions.” “FINE I’ll ask the Asian chick!”

Then we got out of Target and went into JB. This is gripping stuff this is.

We saw the speakers that she wanted. Z4 or something? She gasped. Then saw the pricetag. She gasped again.

Well, at this point (and I just consulted Katherine who also has “NO idea”) I forgot the chain of events, so I’ll just throw in stuff that happened and hopefully the universe doesn’t collapse into itself in a mess of chronological mess.

Mess of…chronological…mess. I need to sleep.

At some point we traversed Russel St. We walked around in the shade (thank you vampirism). We walked a hell of a lot. We went to the Dirt Cheap Books store. Haha. Ha. I made Katherine look at a book about sex or something naughty starting with S. I found it funny. She found it fit to simply walk away from me. I tried calling her name but to no avail. I contemplated using the tried-and-true “MARCO POLO” tactic but felt it not emergency enough.

At some other point I took Katherine to the “secret shop” that Eunice once showed me except she’s been there before with another Alex. We looked at PostSecret books and random books. She found this book called “Wreck This Journal”. At the back of the book, it says “tape this book together, and mail it to yourself!” I think I might actually mail it to her.

At some other point we traversed Elizabeth St. That was painful on my feet too. We walked into a lot of electronic stores. Most of the time I just whinged about how Katherine doesn’t watch FRIENDS, and never has.

(I started marathon-ing Season 2 of FRIENDS again last night. I gotta say that summer when I marathon-ed it all was such a wonderful summer. Michelle, can I borrow all of them again?)

At some yet other point we ate lunch. Had an interesting conversation at lunch. It was interesting because I made Katherine talk and eat. You know she doesn’t do either in public right? Apparently she doesn’t sing in public either. I mean. Who doesn’t or hasn’t once sung in public?

At some yet other other point I ran my errand. We went to National Geographic and I got Eunice her Sea Monkeys.

At some fail point I started going up in the down escalators because my brain said, “No one is going to that one, it’s empty!”

Finally, we were bushed. We were so bushed we decided to find a place to sit down except the downstairs foodcourt at Melb Central was too hot and one of the good couches upstairs was taking by a really PDA couple (there was a lot of space next to them – they were REALLY PDA – but yeah we thought it would be WAY awkward to go sit with them).

So we went down to the Basement and found a couch to crash on. Listened to Katherine’s iPod. Then this group of guys came down and sat on the couch next to us and it was majorly awkward turtle ‘cos we just basically sat still and pretended we weren’t there. Then they left. So we had the gummy people I bought her, and I made her drop one in my mouth except she missed (I swear, oh my god, my mouth was 10 cms from her hand. She missed).

At some point after that we took the train home together after I made her take Glenny with me (the guilty puppy face actually works on her. Wow.) and we tried to solve the Sudoku except I ducked it up. Then we were doing the crossword, and 16-across was “Ass-like”. I wrote “Katherine” next to it.

I guess I can’t be bothered explaining the huge in-joke behind that except just simple to direct you towards “My Humps” by the Black Eyed Peas.

There was a clue that was “seize”. So far we had _rap___ and at the same time both of us wondered out loud, “Crapture?”

After she left I was sending her a text and I tried to write the f word except it came out as “duck”. I think that’s how I’m going to swear as from now on.

Well, I was aiming for 1000 words and I hit it.

Quem nunca preencheu os quadrinhos que estão em páginas de jornal ou em revistas de entretenimento? Palavras cruzadas, sudoku, quebra-cabeça e xadrez, além de entreter, são passatempos que estimulam a mente e combatem a falta de memória.

Companheiras de ônibus, de praia, em mãos de crianças, adultos e idosos, as revistas de palavras cruzadas se dividem em quatro níveis: fácil, médio, difícil e superdíficil. O exercício aprofunda o conhecimento, aperfeiçoa o vocabulário e desenvolve o raciocínio.

Aos 80 anos, a professora de música Idala Vernet Beltrand é fã de palavras cruzadas desde sua juventude. A habilidade desafia Idala, por isso procura somente os exercícios de nível difícil. “Considero as palavras cruzadas um passatempo maravilhoso, o pensamento voa. Elas possuem um dinamismo mental fantástico”. Idala gosta de questões de filosofia, medicina, história e assuntos que ampliem o conhecimento e abram a mente para outras linhas de pensamento.

Quem explica essa questão é a neurocientista Cláudia Pinto Figueiredo que indica exercícios de passatempos aos seus pacientes. “As palavras cruzadas resultam em um efeito positivo, principalmente para pessoas idosas que precisam de atividades que ajudem a memória”. Segundo Cláudia, as pessoas que não tiveram atividades intelectuais no decorrer da vida têm dificuldades para gostar de passatempos, pois não entendem o vocabulário.

Jeniffer Sipp passa horas em frente ao tabuleiro de xadrez. Com dez anos de idade ela participa de torneios entre as escolas, em Camboriú, Santa Catarina. “Eu aprendi na escola, agora jogo em casa com minhas amigas”, comenta a jogadora.

Há um ano Terezinha de Fátima Custódio, 44 anos descobriu o quebra-cabeças japonês Sudoku. “Comecei a jogar porque via uma amiga praticando”. Depois que começou a praticar, Terezinha percebeu que seu raciocínio ficou mais rápido. O sudoku já se tornou uma atividade cotidiana, ela joga todas as noites antes de dormir.

Week-end-ul ăsta a început în forţă pentru mine, prin invitaţia Tomatei la clubul de joc. Memorabilă seară-prelungită-în noapte!

Îmi cer scuze pentru momentul meu antisocial din primele ore, dar acest lucru are drept cauză bestialul  joc de sudoku (din sticlă!) pus la dispoziţie de Rob. Atât ineditul pieselor, cât şi complexitatea grilelor m-au făcut, preţ de minute bune, să ignor aproape în totalitate mediul înconjurător. Pur şi simplu nu-mi putea lua ochii de la cifrele înşirate pe tablă. Şi întrucât această veritabilă acţiune de brain-fucking începea să mă vlăguiască,  mi-au sărit în ajutor Daciana şi Rob, în primă fază, iar ulterior Ily, Dani, Paul şi Richie. Din păcate, în ciuda numărului mare de capete luminate, tot n-am reuşit să-i dăm de cap ultimului joc, dovadă (din punctul meu de vedere) că sudoku tot cu hârtia şi creionul în faţă se joacă cel mai bine! Dar chiar şi aşa, a fost superb! (mersi, Rob!!)

La masa din dreapta, exact în momentul în care eu îmi luam în primire “drogul” cu cifre, o bună parte din cei prezenţi erau prinşi în febra unui joc de remi. În ordinea numerelor de pe tricou, din câte îmi aduc aminte, au fost Nuzzu, Dede, Rob, Tomata, Alice, Richie, Cătă şi încă câteva personaje cărora din varii motive nu le-am reţinut numele.

Iar la stânga, ceva mai târziu, s-au desfăşurat mai multe etape de “Nu te supăra, frate!”, “Sus jos” şi alte  joculeţe de copii mici, la care adulţi nu s-au sfiit să ia parte. Au participat Sirg, Ily, George, Richie şi Horia.

Deşi concentrată nevoie mare la grilele colorate de cifre, alături de Daciana, am mai aruncat când şi când un ochi la ce se întâmpla în jurul meu, ocazie cu care am observat că pe canapeaua din faţă începuse  campionatul de table şi cruce, la care într-un final, am participat şi eu*. Principalii piloni de susţinere au fost Andra, Camytzi, Clawd şi Cătă.

În principiu, jumătate de Funky era ocupată de domniile noastre, însă n-a durat mult până ne-am extins. Astfel, fix în faţa pultului de la bar s-a încins o partidă de UNO (?), iar juma’ de metru mai încolo, începea sesiunea de mimă.

Care mimă i-a acaparat în scurt timp pe aproape toţi cei prezenţi, lăsându-se cu masive hohote de râs şi chicoteli.  De departe consider că a fost cea mai mişto parte din toată întâlnirea. (we should do that again!)

S-a mai jucat lumea domino, scrabble, monopoly, yahtzee şi… [insert game here].

Lista completă a celor prezenţi nu o am, întrucât nu s-a mai întocmit celebrul zelist, dar ţin minte că au fost aşa: eu (d’oh!), Deme, Dede, Tomata, Alice, Ily, Richie, Horia, Cristi, Rob, Sirb, Corina, Andra, Dan, Nuzzu, Dani, Cătă, Camytzi, Clawd, George, Todo, Daciana, Sirg, Marius, Paul, Mircea Popescu cu prietena (care avea un păr lung, superb, de care m-am îndrăgostit pe loc) şi… şi nu mai ştiu. (me blushing)

*M-am băgat cu capul înainte şi la cruce şi la table. Am mâncat bătaie şi la una şi la alta. Daciana spune că eu pun prea mult suflet şi nu ştiu să pierd. Eu nu recunosc nimic, invocând ca scuză faptul că mintea îmi era blocată pe sudoku… Şi cu asta m-am scos!

A energia acabou. Escrevi essas palavras primariamente num papel. Eu, amante da tecnologia e evolução, me limitando á uma caneta e um pouco de celulose.

E agora observo a dependência da mundo atual à energia. Todos nós precisamos da eletricidade. Eu, por exemplo, antes de a luz ter acabado, estava em frente ao computador, jogando Tibia, lendo meus e-mails e conversando no MSN. Depois de a luz ter piscado cinco vezes, eu desliguei o estabilizador, com medo que algo possa ter acontecido ao meu eletrônico mais querido.
Minha mãe já havia desligado todos os outros eletrodomésticos. Depois, reclamou um pouco da companhia (ela reclamou, eu xinguei o máximo que pude) de energia, pois se deu conta que a geladeira e o freezer ficariam desligados a noite toda; talvez até mais que isso.

Seria possível voltar a tempos mais remotos, e deixar de usar energia elétrica? Será que o mundo sobreviveria a um apagão generalizado? Eu não gostaria disso, e não sei se conseguiria.

Hoje a tarde, enquanto poderia estar dormindo, fiquei fazendo um inútil trabalho de artes (eu acho que fiz o trabalho incorretamente, mas amanhã veremos no que dá. Melhor fazer um meio certo a não fazer, e ter meu nome marcado no SOE, ou ter qua matar aula), agora, à noite, ao invés de dormir e compensar meu sono “perdido”, estou escrevendo a mão esse texto, enquanto seguro uma lanterna de luz monocromática amarela na outra.

Tive uma boa aula de português. Ficamos (eu e o Adriano) lendo contos, para escolher um que será lido aos cegos os quais visitaremos semana que vem. Além disso, participamos de uma boa aula de química, e uma (pra variar) entediante de matemática.

Quero que amanhã seja um dia bom. Como não há mais nada importante para essa semana, talvez nem entre no MSN. Talvez eu faça um grid de sudoku; talvez eu continue escrevendo nesse caderno antes de postar.. eu já disse que adoro históricos, logs? Um rascunho, no caso caderno, é um ótimo histórico. Nele, por mais incrível que possa parecer, não há tecla “backspace”, e tudo que foi escrito permanecerá escrito, mesmo com uma letra feia de quem escreve deitado, à semi-luz de uma lanterna.

Aliás, amanhã finalmente veremos a apresentação do grupo do chat de vídeo da informática B. O projeto que eu mais estava ansioso para ver, e fiquei esperando que apresentassem semana passada. Tomara que seja bom.

The Number Warrior is hosting this month’s carnival!  It’s up here, and I was impressed with the entries [both in number and quality].  Plus, there was even something on Bourbaki, though not the symbol I wrote on earlier.

Die neue Kategorie auf stonesand heißt Gossip Glossen. Dort gibt es Texte die nur eine Aufgabe haben: Den Leser zu amüsieren; hochwertigen Inhalt hierbei zu finden ist in dieser Kategorie fraglich.

Die circa 1500 Wörter große Reportage wurde im November 2009 in einem ICE verfasst und ist spielt im Bordrestaurant. Figuren, Fakten und Handlung sind frei erfunden. Dennoch war stonesand vor Ort, und somit hat die Geschichte vielleicht doch etwas Wahrheit in sich.

Ich nippe an meinem zweiten Bier. Mein Mp3 Player dudelt irgendeine komische SWR3 Musik. Die Landschaf zieht an mir vorbei, Strommast, Windrad und nichts als weite grüne Fläche. Stark, neuer Song ist angesprungen: Just a little bit by Whitney Housten. Da singt unsere schwarze Freundin für ein bisschen Respekt, when You get home Mister! That´s right. Und im Umkehrschluss gibt es dann einen dicken Kuss für den Mann?!

Das Bier zischt gut rein! Und Whitney singt, give it to me when you get home. just a little bit. Klar doch, die will doch richtig rangenommen werden. Es gibt doch kaum Frauen die nur kaum rangenommen werden wollen, genauso wie ich eigentlich keine Männer kenne, die ein leblose Partnerin sich im Bett wünschen: Für beide muss es abgehen!

Muss mal den Song wechseln, da ich einen ziemlichen musikalischen Mist ist auf meinem iPod habe. Schon besser. House. Wobei eins weiter! Geile Sache. Mix von meinem Kumpel aus Freiburg, Benedikt Weigmann, zu Prince-Kiss. Guter Beat, schöne Klavierzüge, und ne sexy Stimme der Sängerin, kann man lassen.

Back zum ICE-Speisewagen. Seit Wolfsburg hänge ich nun im ICE. Leider sind es über 5 Stunden nach München. Irgendetwas müsste ich ich eigentlich effektiv machen, könnte auch an meinem nächsten Artikel arbeiten, habe mich aber entschlossen dies nicht zu tun. Gibt es nichts schöneres als mit einem Bier im Speisewagens des ICEs durch Deutschland zu brummen?

Überragend, neuer Song ist angesprungen. Gott wie heißt der denn nochmals? Glaube der ist von Badly drawn Boy. Geht auf jeden Fall gut ab. Mein Bier ist gleich leer. Soll ich ein neues bestellen? Der Ober ist ein guter Mann. Sprich ein astreines Deutsch mit Akzent. Sympathischer Typ, der mein Bier verdammt schnell zapft. Gegenüber haben sich gerade Vater und Sohn hingesetzt. Diese begutachten gerade die Speisekarte. Wäre ich der Vater würde mein Sohn jetzt erstmal mit mir ein Bier trinken. Egal ob der noch unter 16 ist, Hauptsache der ist ruhig und gesellt sich zu mir. Der Junior inspiziert gerade die Karte.

Vater: „Was nimmst Du?”

Sohn: „Woher soll ich denn das wissen?”

Vater: „Ich nehme die Nudeln und ein Helles.”

Sohn: „Die sind doch keine Bayern hier vom Zugpersonal. Die Ossis haben doch keine Ahnung was ein Helles ist.”

Vater: „Mhm, dann eben ein Weißbier.”

Sohn schweigt.

Was nimmt jetzt eigentlich der Sohn?Auch egal ich stecke mir wieder die Stöpsel in die Ohren und konzentriere mich meine Finger. Bier ist eigentlich leer. Eins ginge noch! Aber dann muss ich dauernd auf Toilette. Auch nicht gut.  Nun läuft Up side Down- Oh Boy you turn me ….ohh, ya, yesss! So ein Bullshit. Die ganze Amigesellschaft ist sowieso sehr schwierig zu begreifen. Einerseits gibt es da einige coole Socken, wie Dr. House(also der Schauspieler), Bill Clinton oder David Letterman. Jedoch auch viel zu viele Backpfeifen, wie die ganzen Stipendiaten, die aufgrund super Basketball-Skills in Harward oder Cambridge reinkommen. Ich bewerbe mich dann auch zum nächsten Wintersemester in München mit einem Fussballschuh an der TU.

Hhmm heißer Po ist gerade an mir vorbeigelaufen. Viel zu jung, tippe ich, aber hallo!

Mein Ober kassiert neben mir ab. Vater und Sohn sind immer noch mittellos, äh ich meine ohne Getränke sowie Essen.

Neben mir wird gepackt. Ober Iwan, so habe ich ihn eben getauft, bringt das Gesteck am Nachbartisch. Geht gleich los mit der Völlerei.

Postal Service läuft auf meinen Ohr. Guter relaxte Mukke und kein Main-Stream-Scheiss wie Robbie Williams. Wobei der tut mir eigentlich schon sehr leid. Hat graue Haare und hängt auf der Bühne rum. Seine jungen Jahre war er nur mit Drogen und sich selbst beschäftigt. Der hätte mal lieber so einen Beitrag wie diesen verfassen sollen.

Gott ich muß mal für kleine Jungs. Das Bier! Doch davor noch Bestandsaufnahme. Vater und Sohn sind am völlern. Natürlich geht das alles zivilisiert zu. Dies schätze ich immer am ICE-Boardrestaurant. Hier geht es ruhig und gelassen zu. Kein zu lautes Wort. Fast schon wie bei einem Staatsbesuch. Okay meine Lieben, ich muss mal kurz vor einige Minuten unterbrechen.

Bin zurück auf meinem Platz. Iwan kassiert gerade ab. Habe schnell auch noch die Rechnung bestellt.

Gone till November läuft gerade. Iwan hat mir gerade die Rechnung von über zwei Bier und der Chilli con carne gebracht. Stolze 15,40. Habe ihm 1,10 Euro Trinkgeld gegeben. Schau gerade auf die Rechnung. Der liebe Iwan heisst gar nicht Iwan, sondern mit Vornamen Hasan.

Das Boardrestaurant ist fast leer. Hinter mir sitzt eine alleingelassene Dame die Sudoku spielt. Schräg vorne sitzten an zwei Tischen zwei Herren. Der eine guckt versunken in die Landschaft, der andere, so scheint es ist mit Weintrinken und Kreuzworträtzel beschäftigt.

Irgendwie stinkt es hier gerade, nach Kuhmist. Wo sind wir denn gerade? Ah Gunzenhausen. Ob das alles erklärt?

Eigentlich wollte ich jetzt mich auf meinen Platz begeben und Blaue Engel mit Marlene Diettrich mir reinziehen. Fuck it. Ich bin zu faul!

Gerade gab es eine Durchsage. Jemand hat vor Donauwörth versucht den Zug zu stoppen. Personenschaden. Wir werden umgeleitet über Ingolstadt. Schaffen wir es noch vor 17.00 Uhr nach München? Ist es eigentlich fair, dass sich die Leute immer wieder vor den Zug werfen müssen? Es gibt doch hohe Bäume, Brücken oder die bessere Lösung den Psychologen. Jedes Mal müssen die Reisenden auf ihre Züge warten, da es solche wagemutigen gibt. Verständlich, wenn jemand ein wirklich schlimmes Leben hat, dies  zu enden ist legitim, aber bitte nicht auf meiner ICE-Strecke.

Silent Sigh läuft gerade. Ein trauriger Song. Diesem wittwen wir am besten dem Zugopfer. Ich hoffe mal es war kein junger Mensch, nehme aber stark an, dass es sich bei dem Personenschaden um einen jungen Menschen gehandelt haben muss. Wahrscheinlich ein Problem unsere heutigen Gesellschaft. Die fordert nur Leistung, Leistung und nochmals Leistung. Zudem kommt es erschwerend hinzu, dass flexible Anpassungsfähigkeit gefordert wird: Auslandssemester, mindestens drei Sprachen, und alles nach dem Motto: first Job-then Familiy.

Die Sonne kommt nochmals kurz durch. Sie schimmert über Mittelfranken. Auch über dem Toten auf den Gleisen? Kommt sie/er nun in den Himmel oder die Hölle? Gibt es in der Nachwelt auch Züge? Hoffentlich. Ich raste aus, wenn es im Himmel keinen Fussball geben sollte. Zudem will ich Zugfahren, Bier trinken, Steak essen und Sex haben. Vielleicht gibt es auch dort oben ein himmlisches Gefühl, was dann der himmlische Orgasmus ist?
Gut, da sind wir alle unwissend. Eines Tages werde wir wieder alle zu Staub und werden dann selber herausfinden, ob der Jude, der Christ oder der Moslem recht hatten, oder wird am Ende die Buddhisten durchstarten?

Wir sind gerade in Treuchtlingen gelandet. Schaut sehr düster hier aus. Die übergebliebenen im Bordrestaurant rasten gleich aus. Der Zug schafft es nicht wie geplant nach Augsburg um 17.00 Uhr. Dank des Zugbremsers. Tja, habe heute mal Glück gehabt. Nach München werden wir es bis 17:00 Uhr schaffen.

Mein Gegenüber hat mich gerade darauf aufmerksam gemacht: „Macht doch viel mehr Sinn jetzt bis München durchzuheißen, und dann wieder mit dem ICE nach Augsburg zurück zu fahren! Sind ja nur 30 Minuten.” Darauf hin gibt es einen Tumult vorne beim Schaffner. Mindestens neun Personen beschweren sich gleichzeitig. Das Restaurant ist somit wie ausgefegt. Warum setzt ihr euch nicht einfach hin und genießt noch ein Bier?

Die Dame in rot kommt zurück. Anscheinend leicht aufgebracht. Vorne beim Schaffner geht es weiter mit der Debatte.

Geiler neuer Song läuft auf meinem kleinen Tragbaren. Keine Ahnung wie er heißt, bestimmt ist er aus England. Purer Punk!

Hasan ist gerade mit der Rechnung zur Dame in rot. Bei ihr gab es einen Cappuccino. Bild hätte jetzt noch angefügt wie viel er denn gekostet hat.

Wir haben einen neuen Gast im Restaurant. dieser steht unschlüssig vor den Tischen und inspiziert die Karte. Wir er sich noch setzten? Nun checkt er die 1. Klasse aus, kommt zurück und schaut erneut auf die Karte, ladscht bei mir vorbei und dackelt durch das Restaurant. Unfassbar, nach dem Auftritt begibt er sich zurück zum Tumult.

Ich frage mal den Ausburger Herr nach, wie es um seine Ankunftzeit steht.

Ich: “Entschuldigen Sie. Wann kommen Sie nun an?”

Herr: „Viertel vor fünf nehmen wir dann den RE nach Augsburg. Also keine Ahnung wann genau wir in Augsburg sind.” Er zieht den Wein in einem Schluck weg mit dem Kommentar: „Ach, ja ja” und vertieft sich in seine Zeitungslektüre.

Vier Uhr. Noch eine Stunde bis nach München. Mir schmerzt der Rücken, ich habe Durst und Hunger zugleich. Das Chilli con carne war schon lecker, aber ein eher übersichtlicheres Mittagessen.

Jetzt reicht es. Ich gehe auf meinen Platz, öffne die Datei „Der blaue Engel” und drücke auf die Play-Taste: Film ab.

Gestern habe ich mir ein Sudoku-Büchlein angeschafft. So interessant dies klingen mag, hie und da gibt es an der Uni den einen oder anderen langweiligen Moment. Geradezu prädestiniert dafür ist der Stoff der Bilanzierung-Vorlesung. Die Augen werden schwerer, die Stimme des Dozierenden schwächer und Ellbogen und Hand als Kopfstütze unerlässlich. Die Raumtemperatur und die frühe Morgenzeit tragen ihr übriges dazu bei.

In Zukunft kann ich diese Momente – sie werden zweifellos wieder kommen – elegant mit meinem japanischen Zahlenbüchlein überbrücken. Ich freue mich jetzt schon.

I thought this was absolutely hilarious, albeit badly designed. All you sudoku-loving couples can now rejoice because someone has finally, finally recognized and filled this gap in the sex games’ market. The extremely creatively named SudoFUku looks and functions just like any other normal sudoku game, on the surface, with the only twist being that once completed the number tiles can be turned to reveal various sex positions that the couple must without fail enact together. Oh, but only if they can find two of the same tiles consecutively, like in a memory game. Is your boner deflated yet?

Personally I think this is a complete waste of money. Sudoku puzzles come free with the free papers everywhere you go, so if you’re really desperate for some pre-coital number crunching foreplay I think you’re better off grabbing a London Paper or something. As far as sex positions go, how unimaginative and bored must you be to let a game determine what you and your partner should do next? I’d rather blow my £9.95 on a new sweater, or good lube.
