<p>We all know alkaline batteries are really bad for the environment if you don’t dispose of them properly. The right thing to do is send them to special recycling centers but hundreds of tons end up in landfills where their toxic innards seep into the earth. Perhaps a good solution is the Energy Seed, an LED lamp post powered by trashed alkaline batteries.</p>
<p>The idea is to encourage people to throw their batteries away into the Energy Seed. There’s a slot for nearly every size battery. The unit combines any left over juice from all the batteries to power a super efficient LED ring.</p>
<p>Of course once the bins are full, we’re left with the same original problem. Somebody has to collect all those spent batteries and recycle them. </p>

<p>El coreano <strong>Sungwoo Park</strong> ha desarrollado un lector audible para ciegos y lo ha llamado <strong>Voice Stick</strong>.</p>
<p>El aparato es un escáner de mano que combina tecnología <strong>OCR </strong>(Reconocimiento óptico de caracteres) y<strong> Text-to-speech</strong> (texto-a-voz), consiguiendo leer literalmente cualquier texto y transformarlo en audio, que el usuario recibe a través de unos <strong>auriculares</strong>.</p>
<p>Claro que lo ideal sería que en los tiempos que corren tanto la administración como el mercado laboral dispusieran de gran parte de los textos en braille, así como que las editoriales editaran un tanto por ciento considerable del material en este lenguaje, pero teniendo en cuenta que el coste actual de traducción a braille,  una solución como la que presenta <em>Sungwoo Park</em> resulta ideal.</p>
<p>Si el invento llegara al mercado, permitiría a cualquier persona con problemas de visión poder leer cualquier tipo de libro, contrato, texto o formulario. No hace falta pensar mucho para darse cuenta de la mejora que esto supondría para los invidentes en el mundo de hoy en día.</p>

<p>Existe algo mais desconfortável do que sentar num banco público e o mesmo estar molhado de chuva? pois Bem, achei fantástico esse banco inteligente já vem com um sistema de rolagem que deixa a parte seca pronta para você sentar, enquanto a molhada começa a secar.<br />
