<p>Texas Darlin&#8217;s <a href="http://texasdarlin.wordpress.com/2008/10/19/obama-is-indonesian-is-anyone-investigating/#more-4075">Is Obama an Indonesian Citizen?</a> and An American Expat in Southeast Asia&#8217;s  <a href="http://laotze.blogspot.com/2008/09/obama-throwing-papau-under-bus.html">Obama: Throwing Papua Under the Bus</a>, provides some fascinating information about Senator Barack Obama&#8217;s attempts to further conceal any official documentation and other information about his time in Indonesia as a youth.  Both note the following.<!--more--></p>
<blockquote><p><strong>The untold story though is how the Obama campaign would sell out the West Papuans in a desperate attempt to protect Obama&#8217;s presidential bid.</strong></p></blockquote>
<blockquote><p>On the 3rd of July 2007, U.S. Congressman Eni Faleomavaega would touch down in Jakarta, Indonesia. A staunch outspoken critic of Jakarta&#8217;s rule over West Papua, New Guinea and a crusader for West Papua&#8217;s right to self-determination, the chairman of the House Subcommittee on Asia, The Pacific and the Global Environment, Faleomavaega promised to be a force to be reckoned with.</p></blockquote>
<blockquote><p>According to our Indonesian sources, <span style="color:#888888;">&#8220;officials&#8221;</span>who accompanied Faleomavaega were interested in <strong>acquiring any and all documentation or photographs of a young Barry Soetoro for America&#8217;s &#8220;national archives&#8221; and they were offering cash, lots of it.</strong> In a show of faith, Barack Obama&#8217;s childhood school would be one of the very first beneficiaries of this outpouring receiving thousands of dollars to upgrade the school and for the purchase of computer equipment, thanks in part to the benevolence of this visiting junket.</p></blockquote>
<blockquote><p><strong>The challenge of course was securing Indonesian government records potentially damaging to Barack Obama&#8217;s candidacy for the US presidency as well as other records pertaining to a young Barry Soetoro and his family</strong> wouldn&#8217;t be so easy to acquire and secure, and for this, the visitors would need the assistance and cooperation of the Indonesian government.</p>
<p><strong>In the end, everyone got what they wanted</strong>, all to the detriment of the West Papuans.</p></blockquote>
<p>Several questions arise as to the business of a U.S. Congressman, who has been barred by the Indonesian government from Papua, initially supportive of Papuan rights, goes to Jakarta with the Obama superdelegate, secures and pays for the documents sought on Obama&#8217;s behalf, and then has a change of heart about his harsh critical stance about Indonesian government.  Perhaps, the grease that lubricated Faleomavaega&#8217;s change of heart, emanated from the Obama grease that bought back all those Indonesian government records of Barry Soetoro and family.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">With that revelation, Texas Darlin&#8217; goes on to ask some very pertinent questions on Obama&#8217;s citizenship.  Considering Philip Berg&#8217;s lawsuit on the Obama citizenship, then all together it may not be so surprising why <a href="http://www.americasright.com/2008/10/obama-dnc-file-motion-to-dismiss-bergs.html">Obama, DNC File Motion To Dismiss Berg&#8217;s First Amended Complaint</a>.  Where there is smoke, there is fire.</p>

I clearly recognize the principles of socialism and Communism in all of Obama&#8217;s &#8220;silk purse&#8221; speeches. It isn&#8217;t hard acknowledging right from wrong. In my last essay &#8220;Is any thing in America Sacred to Obama?&#8221; which lists many of Obama&#8217;s criminal friends, actions, and intentions which reveal a ruthless and desperate character. There is nothing I wrote in that piece that isn&#8217;t already known to all of the Democrats currently in office and the general public. There is nothing I wrote in that article that hasn&#8217;t already been written in long, scary detail by better writers than I. All of the information that keeps coming forward about Obama is disgusting, shameful, and proof he is unworthy to be a dog catcher let alone president. It is obvious no patriotic American will vote for Obama. He should be in jail.</p>

Do they think every person who states a negative of unpopular fact about Obama is a liar like the Obama camp wants them to believe? Don’t they realize they are coconspirators in their own tyranny? Don’t they care about the criminal, unethical, and mean spirited track record he has? Is it okay for Obama to do anything he wants as long as he is black? The argument Democrats will use that McCain has done bad things doesn’t hold water. True McCain has made mistakes. But one this for certain is McCain never betrayed his country and committed treason. He also never tampered with voter registration, nor ever was a Muslim.</p>

I have always believed in the ultimate goodness of the common man. For the first time in my life, I am beginning to wonder if there are that many people in America who have traded goodness for evil. I am having trouble listening to Obama supporters on msn parroting Obama stump mantras. They are touting Communist principles and may or may not realize it. <p style="text-align:left;">1. The majority are hard working moral Americans whose only desire is a better America for them selves, their families and all. They simply misunderstand BO’s message. There is nothing in their mind that could lead them to recognize Obama’s messages are Communistic. If they did understand Obama’s message, they would not vote for Obama. There’s hope for this group because I believe they want a person of good character in office. They may change their minds and vote for McCain when more factual information about Obama comes forward.</p>

Their loyalty is so strong, that even when confronted with facts about Obama’s crimes, they refuse to believe them. If these good people did understand, they would not only refuse to vote for Obama, they would throw him out of the circle. There are great black men and women who would make a wonderful commander and chief. It is only a matter of time American will enjoy a great black president. Obama is not the one. I believe some of these dear people may also change their mind.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Wednesday:  Obama's loss is a matter of trust]]></title>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Heidi Li Feldman has an excellent series of articles about progressive populism and the direction of the Democratic party after the election.  But we also need to do a retrospective analysis of what went wrong with the this incarnation of the Democratic party.  In<a title="Surely the DNCC jests" href="http://tdg.typepad.com/heidi_lis_potpourri/2008/09/surely-the-dncc-jests.html" target="_blank"> Surely the DNCC Jests</a>, Heidi shows how the roll call vote was subverted to award rather than elect Barack Obama.  Six state were crucial to securing his win: NY, NJ, MI, OH, FL and PA.  The final count can be found at the DNCC page.</p>
<p>If you are a regular Joe Bagodonuts and you are only following the nightly news, you might look at these numbers and think Clinton lost fair and square.  Obama&#8217;s delegate count puts him ahead by 3:1.  What the DNCC won&#8217;t tell you is that <a title="the pledged delegate count prior to the roll call vote" href="http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P08/D.phtml" target="_blank">the pledged delegate count prior to the roll call vote </a>put her well within striking distance of winning the election.  So, why didn&#8217;t she win it, given that she was the most electable candidate?</p>
<p>The answer lies in the Superdelegates.  It was the superdelegates that decided this election.  The pledged delegate count seems almost engineered to cover up for this fact.  Of course, it took a lot of arm twisting and threats to make sure the pledged delegates caved.  Ricki Lieberman sent another compilation of first hand delegate accounts describing how the delegates were hounded. Here are a couple that give us some insight as to how the process was highjacked:</p>
<blockquote><p>CONNECTICUT: &#8220;For 17-18 months I have been working on and for HRC I could not figure out what was wrong with the politicians in Ct something was wrong I just couldn&#8217;t put my finger on it.  Then many months ago I revc&#8217;d a call from a women who is very active in the Dem party in Ct.  She had told me at that time that the politicians in Ct were getting threatened by Dodd with their political careers if they did not support/vote for BO.  Of course I tried to verify this info but could not, though people did admit to hearing that.  Then at a fundraiser I held in Ct for HRC I was told this again to my face by an elected Dem town chair person and elected HRC delegate.  Prior to the convention two elected HRC delegates switched and announced their support and vote for BO, one a mayor the other state representative.&#8221;</p>
<p>KENTUCKY:A campaign volunteer: &#8220;I was there in Denver and witnessed Ky delegates being berated and strong armed.  Lots of people in the Kentucky delegation witnessed an Obama delegate screaming at a Clinton delegate and saying she was a racist because she wouldn&#8217;t change her vote. For the first time in my adult life, I am ashamed of being a Democrat.&#8221;</p>
<p>MAINE: &#8220;I was approached by a member of the Maine delegates on Tuesday night and was told that if I didn&#8217;t vote for BO I would regret it. I then said to them that I came here representing a lot of Hillary supporters and would vote for her every time I could.  I then said I have nothing else to talk to you about so please leave me alone.&#8221;</p>
<p>For the roll call &#8220;We where sitting right behind ARKANSAS. When it was their turn for the roll call the women that was talking was the widow of the head of the democratic party talking.  She was reading what was written to be said.  She stopped because she couldn&#8217;t believe what the note said. A man stepped in and said the Arkansas votes where all for BO.  Cell phones started to ring in front of me.</p></blockquote>
<p>There is a cause and effect relationship for what happened during the primary season and the disaster that the Democrats find themselves in now.  We can see how the primary season was corrupted in the Democratic Convention, which in a way is just a giant caucus.  Two forces seem to have been at the heart of what went terribly wrong.  The first is the superdelegate system itself.  I think it is too facile to say that their flipping has everything to do with money.  The total amount of money given to these superdelegates was substantial but on an individual basis, it&#8217;s hard to see how Frank Lautenberg benefits from the $10,000 dollars or so that he got from Obama.  It takes millions of dollars to run a senate campaign in NJ and Frank is pretty old.  Who knows if he&#8217;ll even run another term?  What is even less plausible is the rational for voting for Obama based on the fact that the DNC was going to withhold funds to downticket Dems in certain states, like NJ, CT and NH.  I&#8217;m not denying that they threat wasn&#8217;t made.  I am questioning the logic.  How would an Obama presidency get anything done if it had lost Congress due to some pre-election pique?  Or was the Obama campaign saying that it would have let Congressional candidates lose if Clinton had been the nominee?</p>
<p>No, the problem with the superdelegates is that a vast majority are middle aged white guys who have no experience with the rank and file not falling in line.  We all got behind Mondale, Dukakis, Gore and Kerry.  They weren&#8217;t particularly exciting candidates but they were ours so we sucked it up and voted for them.  Middle aged white guys don&#8217;t have the experience of having women directing things.  Their life experience is one of women in subordinate positions.  Women in power are few and far between.  Mostly, we submit.</p>
<p>Then there are the zealous Obama supporters who were born or raised during the Reagan era.  Their parents were Baby Boomers.  These children are suffering from Affluenza.  They&#8217;ve been given everything.  Oh, sure, student loans are expensive but for the most part, boomer parents had the money and means to raise their children without want.  They sacrificed a lot for their kids and so it should come as no surprise that the kids still expect sacrifice.  These golden children think rather highly of themselves.  It never crosses their minds that we will not instantly comply with their demands.  So, they got a little red in the face when they demanded that delegates switched.  So what?</p>
<p>Obama took full advantage of this.  He could have let the roll call proceed and honored both Clinton and her voters.  In fact, given the closeness of the delegate count, his pretension of being the presumptive nominee is one for the history books.  With Florida and Michigan restored to full votes, he was not entitled to call himself presumptive nominee.  But that didn&#8217;t stop him and his crew from strong arming and scripting the convention down to the last detail.  It didn&#8217;t stop him from engineering a humiliating loss for her on the convention floor as her delegates were flipped and Nancy Pelosi rammed the whole procedure through.</p>
<p>And now, the DNC and the Obama campaign are surprised that women are abandoning them and that Obama can&#8217;t raise enough money for the general.  I&#8217;m surprised that they are surprised.  What we have witnessed is an abuse of our caucus system, fradulent primaries and superdelegates substituting their will for the will of the voters.  And all of this was done with Obama&#8217;s approval because it was more important that he win than whether the party survived his candidacy.  He was even willing to let Congressional candidates lose if he couldn&#8217;t be at the top of the ticket.</p>
<p>Those of us who are holding out aren&#8217;t doing it because we&#8217;re racists.  It&#8217;s not because we are wedded to Hillary.  She&#8217;s right about never looking back to what might have been.  We have to move forward.  But we will never support a man who has so utterly destroyed our trust in him and the party apparatus that put him in power.  Not only have they failed to exercise leadership and control but they have put victories for downticket Democrats in question as well.  They have subverted the process to the point that we may lose the slim margins we hold in Congress while we end up with a Republican running the White House.</p>
<p>How can we EVER trust Barack Obama for this catastrophe?  There is no way at this point in time for him to earn that trust back.   Nothing but emergency measures with major corrections will fix this election cycle.  And such measures will only underscore the precarious position the Democrats have put themselves into.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Our PUMA Anti-Convention]]></title>

<h2 style="text-align:center;"><strong>Our PUMA Anti-Convention</strong></h2>
<p style="text-align:center;">&#8220;So, how&#8217;d it go at the Democratic Convention?&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">I get that a lot from my family and friends. They know I had been working the entire year to get Hillary Clinton elected President while “raging against the machine,” and that I was going to Denver to protest. I replied,</p>
<p style="text-align:center;">&#8220;Ummm . . . good. . . . I, I wasn&#8217;t really at The Convention.</p>
<p style="text-align:center;">We were like . . . the Anti-Convention!&#8221;</p>
<p>Post-Denver, although still mourning for what could have been, most hardcore, grassroots Hillary supporters have moved on &#8212; in one way or another. They know, or are deciding, what they will do with their votes and/or their efforts. Will they work for one campaign or other at the top, or just support down-ticket candidates? They are mulling over whether to: vote nothing on top, vote third party, write in Hillary&#8217;s name, stay home, or cast a protest vote for John McCain. For most, that would be their first Republican vote ever, and they do not take it lightly. The only reason they would do it is to protest Barack Obama and Democratic Party leaders who subverted the democratic process and 18 million voters.</p>
<p>But I can’t fully move on yet. This story is roiling around inside me, unwilling to be forgotten. One week plus is old news, past prime, but I keep getting these “little messages.” Last week I ran into my neighborhood Brazilian Café and struck up a conversation with husband and wife owners, Marcello and Juliet. I&#8217;d been socked away in my &#8220;Puma Den&#8221; for the last six months, making rich stove top espressos at home on the cheap.</p>
<p>Marcello asked, &#8220;I heaven&#8217;t seen you for a while. Where have you bean? What have you been doing?&#8221;</p>
<p>I hesitated protectively, having lived undercover using my handle for so long that I had to consciously produce my real name in my head before saying it. &#8220;Actually, I&#8217;ve been doing a lot of writing most of the year, political writing. Do you know what blogs are? I have a blog and contribute to other sites and efforts.&#8221;</p>
<p>They continued the conversation as they scurried about their business, &#8220;Oh really, and who were you supporting for President?&#8221;</p>
<p>My personal self gulped inside my political self having been so underground and divided, &#8220;Actually, I was supporting Hillary Clinton, working to get her elected. I still support her and believe she would make the best President.&#8221;</p>
<p>They both jumped to attention and gravitated back to the counter to face me, &#8220;Really? We’re for her too!&#8221;</p>
<p>(See why I can&#8217;t stop?) &#8220;That&#8217;s great,&#8221; I cooed, as I came clean, telling them about my blog and links to others, our efforts prior to and during Denver, and our work to ensure a roll call, a floor vote, and a record of the truth about this election.</p>
<p>They pointed out to me, &#8220;It&#8217;s just like 2000, Gore and Bush!&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Right!&#8221; I answered, &#8220;and now from our own. It seems so much worse that way. Did you know that Democrats have a weird gene that makes them eat their own?&#8221;</p>
<p>They laughed. We talked about the delegates. They had seen the same things that Puma and <a href="http://justsaynodeal.com/" target="_blank">Just Say No Deal</a> Coalition members have been uncovering, observing, highlighting, and shouting about all year long: the subversion, bullying, and undemocratic processes. They could not believe when they saw the vote halted and delegates switched. &#8220;We voted. We went in and pulled the lever. Why should we even bother?&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I KNOW. How do they do it in Brazil?&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;We vote. It gets recorded. Somebody gets elected. That&#8217;s it.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;Wow, that simple. You mean one person one vote? I am committed to working for that in our country.  And to think that our soldiers and young people, are dying in other countries to fight for a democracy that we don’t even have!&#8221;</p>
<p>As people began to line up, I moved to leave. They didn&#8217;t want me to go and would have continued.</p>

<p><strong>My Denver Surprise</strong></p>
<p>The biggest revelation of my trip, despite everything we’d done all year and any possible outcomes we&#8217;d imagined, is that many people are only now becoming aware of the election. They have not heard the story of what really happened . . . or they saw something go by and didn’t quite believe their eyes . . . or they absorbed it and are slowly beginning to wake up.</p>
<p>To the young-looking 50 year-old Denver mom of two teens seated next to me on the outbound plane, who asked what I&#8217;d been doing there, and upon hearing it replied:</p>
<blockquote><p>You know, my husband and I watched the Rick Warren town hall meeting with Obama and McCain. Did you see it? We heard Obama say something, and the day before he&#8217;d said the exact opposite. Well, we&#8217;re Christians, she intimated, implying they&#8217;re people of their word. I turned to my husband and said, ‘did you hear that?’</p></blockquote>
<p>To the tattooed young performance artist, an Obama supporter, who listened respectfully as I carefully talked to him about what really happened in this election. To the young woman who listened intently, as we rode the uniquely silent electric shuttle.</p>
<p>To the Hillary delegate from a Hillary state, who was I &#8220;accidentally&#8221; seated next to after missing my connection due storms over Dallas. We chirped for the entire ride. She planned to cast her first ballot for Hillary, but then switch to Obama. I wonder now how she actually cast that ballot? She had a resolute personality, and, despite lots of grief from the black community, stood firm in her support of HRC. She did not agree, however, that the Superdelegates had endorsed too soon based on Party pressure. She thought they had merely done their jobs.</p>
<p>To the youth of all races and nationalities, whom I met traveling to Hillary events &#8212; especially the young African American women who had grown up in solidly Democratic households, their entire families dedicated to the Clintons, proudly displaying their photos on the wall. These strong young people felt bashed and abandoned by their peers and their Party, yet stood strong in their commitment, and decided to go work for McCain in early June before school started in the Fall. They did not tolerate well their heroes being thrashed.</p>
<p>If the media, blogs, the campaigns, and politicians have moved on, the electorate has not. The story isn&#8217;t finished &#8212; and to some, it hasn’t been told yet.</p>

<p><strong>I’ll Meet You In Denver</strong></p>
<p>I went to Denver to represent &#8212; myself, the movement, and you! Any of you who wanted to go but couldn&#8217;t for one reason or another, I was there for y-o-u. I hadn&#8217;t planned on going, but a friend encouraged me to do so, saying, &#8220;It&#8217;s an experience of a lifetime.&#8221; To tell you the truth, what with the pre-convention buzz about cages, warehouses, diarrhea-producing gas bombs, police in riot gear, and Recreate &#8216;68, (being old enough to remember Chicago in 1968), I was scared to go.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.pumapac.org" target="_blank">Puma PAC</a>&#8217;s &#8220;Murphy&#8221; encouraged me to help with the live-blogger effort, lineup call-ins to the radio shows, protest, speak at The Beautiful Protest/The Rise, and contribute to our efforts in general &#8212; all my honor and pleasure.</p>
<p>No matter the immediate outcome, Pumas made a difference that is yet reverberating. We helped shape the conversation and message that played out in the media &#8212; locally, nationally, and internationally. I will continue to tell the stories that have not been told. I get why my bubbie (Yiddish grandma &#8212; yeah, Donna, I have one too), used to tell me bedtime stories of the Old Testament. Although I used to squirm like hell, by teaching them to me, they would not be lost.</p>

<p>Let me say that Denver is a beautiful city.   I hadn&#8217;t been there, except to the airport hub. Well, unless I count the ride I got during the summer of 1970 when I was hitching and two cops picked me up. I  was tripping at the time, but speaking well and remember it still. They asked me to describe what LSD was, why people took it, and why some kids were jumping out of windows. I did my best to describe things from my spiritual and honest 23 year-old viewpoint. They listened with interest and respect and dropped me off at my destination.</p>
<p>In yet another 2008 strange twist of fate, all my fears of being caged by the cops (sounds kinky, doesn&#8217;t it?) were allayed when the headquarters that Murphy found were directly across the street from Denver&#8217;s police station complex. They became our protectors, greeting us as we walked by, immediately realizing that we were not the ones they were looking for. Cops did confront some of the militant protesters at the Pepsi Center, trapping innocent bystanders in the fray. Due to hiring so damn many just in case, they seemed to have spent many stifling hours in riot gear in the midst of a heatwave.</p>

<p><strong>Puma PAC Headquarters: From Virtual To Reality</strong></p>
<p>On Sunday, August 24, we were setting up headquarters, many of us meeting for the very first time after having been an active and energized virtual community on behalf of Hillary Clinton for the last six months. It was exciting! We were a busy beehive, with a plethora of media outlets looking to harvest honey. Bloggers set up their laptops into a computer bank, people made signs, set up and bought Hillary gear including, tee shirts, buttons, stickers, bracelets, and more. We talked about our upcoming events and schedules, and our ongoing efforts to have all the delegates&#8217; votes counted properly at the Democratic National Convention. Isn&#8217;t that just an odd thing to have to write or say?</p>

<p>With news being produced so quickly, we were not watching it, we were making it! At any given time there were several media outlets from anywhere in the world at headquarters. We didn&#8217;t get to see the results of our efforts, but Charles Lemos at By The Fault captured some stories <a href="http://www.bythefault.com/2008/08/26/pumas-in-the-news/" target="_blank">here</a>. (Readers, please add links) PUMAS were <em>the</em> story of the Convention. How could we NOT be? We were the unpredictable &#8212; as Murphy says, &#8220;the ones no one was expecting!&#8221;</p>
<p>Sunday ended with the movie premiere of “The Audacity of Democracy,” which recounts the systematic corruption of the democratic process in the 2008 Democratic primary election. This fabulous Puma PAC event was attended by local, national, and international press, and Puma/Just Say No Deal coalition members.</p>

<p><strong>Marching To MSNBC</strong></p>
<p>Monday, August 25, we held our protest march through the 16th Street Mall, a beautiful outdoor walking mall lined with restaurants and shops. It was hotter than hell in Denver, and people were in for the Convention, so the place was packed like on a weekend. We were joined all along the route by dozens and dozens of reporters, who had to keep pace with us to get their story or photos. I was joined by a well-suited young man from WA. I&#8217;d handed him a Puma HQs flier and asked him to join us after he declared he was a Hillary delegate. He stayed with us all the way, never removing his jacket and tie despite the heat.</p>
<p>Hundreds of people rose out of their patio chairs, ran out of restaurants, and stopped whatever they were doing to jump up and capture our protest. Professional photographers and videographers appeared out of nowhere. Cars and trucks would honk &#8216;n wave. We were seen and noted. My sense was that no matter which side was observing us, we appeared as a force, a committed phenomenon, as if, &#8220;there go those Pumas we&#8217;ve been hearing about.&#8221;</p>

<p>As we reached our destination, MSNBC&#8217;s outdoor media stage at Union Station, they were preparing for Chris Matthews and Mike Barnacle to broadcast. We Were the Action and the crew began to turn around their huge camera and 10-foot boom to capture us, as we declared,</p>

<p>Although they were equal in people power and had some loud guy voices, Obama supporters were no match for us as they tried to shout us down. All they could do was insert a “get over it” or “he won” on the off-beat.</p>

<p>That evening &#8220;<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pQ5PBOC610" target="_blank">The Beautiful Protest/The Rise event</a>,&#8221; was held in Cheesman Park. Sponsored by Puma PAC, it featured speakers, including Dr. Saharra Bledsoe, riverdaughter, and many others including yours truly.</p>
<p>In the 1960s, I was compelled to help build a spiritual community/commune, and devote my life to a vision and mission larger than myself, for sake of creating a better world. It was the only clear path I could choose. At the time I felt, how could I not? In this 2008 election year, I was also compelled in that same way &#8212; to speak out for Hillary and our country. How could I not?</p>
<p>People have died for democracy, for the right to have a voice in their government. When one-half of the maternal side of my family &#8212; everyone but my grandma and her aunt &#8212; was exterminated in Nazi Germany because people stayed silent in the face of injustice, how could I not speak up in a free country? How could I witness these present day acts and remain silent? I can no more support a stolen election perpetrated by my own party than I could in 2000.</p>
<p>Beyond Obama &#38; Co.&#8217;s shallow, copycat, wavering policies, demeaning primary season conduct, and perpetration of misogyny, the source of my continued protest and conscientious objection is the complete subversion of Fair Reflection.</p>

<p>I am not equating our struggle with the brave, momentous Civil War, nor suggesting that we freed slaves, nor that death occurred &#8212; unless you count the democratic process. However, the principles of our cause are serious, and we are dedicated to preserving our government by and for the people. Families and friends are similarly, painfully divided. I basically live in the closet with my leanings, avoiding mental-emotional reprisals from family and friends. My grown kids think I’ve lost half my mind.</p>
<p>We were in Denver to make sure that the winning candidate, Hillary Clinton, and the 18 million voters who cast their vote for her were represented. We were there to bear witness to the way our votes had been distorted and the people&#8217;s good will had been intentionally manipulated and discarded, and the way the winning candidate was abandoned and abused by her Party. And for what? Money? Power?</p>
<p>Can you remember any election &#8212; and I can&#8217;t in my baby boomer lifetime &#8212; when you were afraid to walk down the street for fear of being pushed, punched, stomped, shouted at, had a finger shoved in your face, your sign torn from your hands or your front lawn? For what? Because you wore a tee shirt, button, or carried a sign in support of a political candidate? I&#8217;m undercover, but many Pumas are not, and found themselves treated thusly. Can you remember when caucuses and voter registration drives were rife with coercion and pressure from within one&#8217;s own Party? Can you remember a woman, former First Lady, sitting Senator, or Presidential candidate who was treated with such disrespect?</p>

<p><strong>Honoring Women</strong></p>
<p>On Tuesday, August 26, 2008, we had to decide between several events because Hillary was scheduled to be at a few leading up to her convention speech that evening. I began with the DNC Women’s Caucus, attended by thousands of women, and heard Donna Brazile praise Obama and talk about her momma, Clinton loyalist Tina Flournoy eulogize Stephanie Tubbs Jones. Emily’s List President, Ellen Malcolm, and the Catharine Harris-like, slithering, Alice Germond also spoke.</p>
<p>We left after hearing that Hillary would be speaking at two luncheons that day, reasoning that she likely wouldn&#8217;t attend the praise Obama Women’s Caucus. With four events at once, instead of donning white outfits for the <a href="http://rhrdenver.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Rise Hillary Rise</a> 160th Suffragette Anniversary walk, we opted for the <a href="http://womencount.org/Site/Welcome.html" target="_blank">WomenCount.org</a> luncheon with Hillary and other Democratic women leaders. <a href="http://ladyboomernyc.wordpress.com/2008/08/20/stephanie-tubbs-jones-i-hear-a-symphony/" target="_blank">Congresswoman, Stephanie Tubbs Jones</a>, who had died suddenly the week prior, had helped conceive of the luncheon and was to appear with Hillary. Stephanie was remembered for her strong spirit and support of women.</p>

<p>We were all delighted to attend, and those of us with tickets were allowed to bring in other guests, so all were accommodated. The mood was generous. To me, this spirit was a continuation of the embodiment of Hillary&#8217;s campaign. She received resounding appreciation and expressed hers to us. Women candidates, including Jean Shaheen and Debbie Wasserman Schultz, spoke, Chelsea appeared with Hillary. I connected with <a href="http://www.jacksonlee.house.gov/" target="_blank">Sheila Jackson Lee</a>, met Alice Palmer who got Obama into politics before he threw her under the bus, and introduced myself to Women Count’s Jehmu Green.</p>
<p>Several of us then visited the &#8220;300 Petition&#8221; suite, an effort by the energetic and committed Michele Thomas and John West. On top of that petition, they were now organizing a new <a href="http://ladyboomernyc.wordpress.com/2008/08/26/delegates-mad-as-hell-scramble-for-floor-vote/" target="_blank">20% petition</a>, (826 of delegates), whose signatures were needed to ensure a roll call vote according to DNC rules. Several of our group hit the streets with that petition, and I returned to headquarters to blog about it.</p>

<p>That evening as we watched intently at Puma Headquarters, <a href="http://ladyboomernyc.wordpress.com/2008/08/27/hillarys-convention-speech-keep-going/" target="_blank">Hillary spoke</a> eloquently and wore a pumpkin-colored silk pantsuit, the same colors as Women Count.org. It was the historic 160th anniversary of women&#8217;s suffrage. She quoted riverdaughter’s phrase &#8220;the sisterhood of the traveling pantsuits!&#8221; We delighted in that she&#8217;d been listening, and was responding and giving a h/t to our support and efforts. It was code.</p>
<p>On Wednesday afternoon, we ran down to the Hillary-friendly bar to watch the unexpectedly early, orchestrated, <a href="http://ladyboomernyc.wordpress.com/2008/09/02/null-and-void-democrats-roll-call-in-retrospect/" target="_blank">sham roll call vote</a> on the Convention floor. We watched in amazement as CA, NM, and IL yielded, and Hillary threw her and NY State&#8217;s support to Obama. WTF? That evening, we again ran down to see Bill Clinton give his speech. My impression of the usually impassioned Bubba was that the words were there, but his characteristically pink face looked pale, his underlying demeanor was tepid.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">On September 2, 2008, I published <a href="http://ladyboomernyc.wordpress.com/2008/09/02/null-and-void-democrats-roll-call-in-retrospect/" target="_blank">Null and Void</a>, a comparison and analysis of the 2008 Presidential delegate count vs. the roll call vote at the Convention. A delegate added a comment that the vote commenced an hour earlier than planned. There were some delegations and Edwards delegates that had even tried to change their votes to Hillary but were not allowed to do so, with deadlines being constantly changed. <a href="http://alegrescorner.soapblox.net/showDiary.do?diaryId=917" target="_blank">Alegre</a> has cross-posted Part 1 from Ricki Lieberman&#8217;s Electability Watch email accounts by delegates and others. Sheri Tag on her <a href="http://www.blogtalkradio.com/stations/HeadingLeft/NO-WE-WONT/2008/09/08/NO-WE-WONT-PUMA-RADIO" target="_blank">9/7/08</a> PUR (Puma United Radio) show, &#8220;No We Won&#8217;t,&#8221; and <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/09/07/delegate-account-1-we-the-sheeple/" target="_blank">Riverdaughter</a> also expose more of what the delegates were subjected to by the Obama campaign.</p>
<p>The hollowing out of what was formerly known as the Democratic Party was as complete as that of a Halloween pumpkin. The Party we used to call home had kicked us out, and only now are they beginning to notice they miss us.</p>

<p>The thing is, like Hillary, we&#8217;re a bunch of fighters! Beyond a common goal to expose the unparalleled injustice, fraud, and misogyny of the 2008 primaries starting at the top, we are committed to reforming The System and MSM. (I can&#8217;t believe how Repub that sounds, but it goes for both parties.) Our diligence in Denver of purrs, prowls, pounces, and growls left their mark on the world, and are reverberating in the difficult descent of Obama. Hillary said all along that she was the one who could win the electoral college. History will show that she was right.</p>

<title><![CDATA[The Vast Democratic Conspiracy: How Hillary Rigged the Primary]]></title>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>This comes as a follow up to <a href="http://12angrymen.wordpress.com/2008/08/27/friends-of-hilary-enemies-of-democracy/">my last article</a> where I introduced our readers to the absolute insanity that is <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/">The Confluence</a>, a blog run by a minuscule pro-Hillary political group that has now decided the deep end wasn&#8217;t crazy enough and has dived full force off the ocean shelf into bizarre conspiracy theories.</p>
<p>Last week they ran an article on how the <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/28/whats-next/">Democratic Primary was rigged</a> for Obama, and in fact had been rigged years ago, in their own words:</p>
<blockquote><p>The nomination was rigged, long ago.  The people responsible for ignoring the will of the voters and selecting Barack Obama as the nominee have been plotting and planning for years.  This was no accident.  The full scope of what happened may never be known, but in hindsight some of it is obvious.</p></blockquote>
<p>I&#8217;m a bit confused as to how they can even make such a leap&#8230; the other posts on the blog are insane, true, but this one steps into grounds of convoluted illogical assumptions that are so deep they stagger me.  Have they forgotten that it was Hilary Clinton that led the charge to have the delegates unseated?  Do they realize what they are suggesting?  Their claim that the election was rigged via the treatment of Michigan and Florida is a claim that <strong>Hillary rigged the election for Obama</strong>&#8230;</p>

<p>They actually believe that Hillary Clinton, in their mind the rightful presidential nominee for the Democratic party, rigged the Democratic Primary so that her opponent, Barack Obama, would win. <strong>In what sort of universe does a conspiracy theory like this even make sense!?!</strong>  It&#8217;s like claiming that Kennedy hired his own assassin!  This sort of stuff reaches so far down the well of crazy that I am really excited to see what they come up with next.  It&#8217;s like watching a car wreck, I can&#8217;t stop reading their blog.  It&#8217;s a whole new level of insanity, and while it creeps me out, like the patron of a good horror movie I keep coming back for more.</p>
<p>If the crazy half-baked conspiracy theory wasn&#8217;t enough, the author has the absolute audacity to suggest that Hillary&#8217;s campaign is akin to the Civil Rights Movement.  I&#8217;m sorry, but at that point the dose of crazy goes from funny to pathetic.  If you really think you can compare a race&#8217;s struggle to not only have the right to vote, but the right to attend the same schools, live and work where they want, and not have to live in constant fear for their lives, you are just pathetically misinformed.</p>
<p><strong>Edit:</strong>They&#8217;re even running an article today about how <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/09/05/friday-fast-fundraiser/">Obama was &#8220;supposed to pay&#8221; for Hillary&#8217;s debt.</a>  Um, when was this decided?  I know Hillary asked him to, but why should he?  She didn&#8217;t have the decency to bow out when it was clear to everyone else she had lost.  She needs to pay her own damn bills.  Obama is not liable for her irresponsibly continued campaign.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Sunday:  It was your name, DNC]]></title>

<p>I am very disappointed that some of our best and brightest bloggers do not understand the source of our resistance.  They seem to think this is all about Hillary.  On the contrary, we made it clear to Hillary&#8217;s campaign back in June before her suspension speech that the resistance to Obama had spiralled far beyond her ability to call it back.</p>
<p>The Obamacans and trolls and newly converted think it is all about gender and identity politics.  No, if you want to see an example of identity politics, you need look no further than the 90% of African-Americans who voted for Obama in the primary.  We don&#8217;t blame them.  It&#8217;s a natural response.  We *do* have an issue with the RBC committee members and other Dolores Umbrage types who can&#8217;t seem to see past Obama&#8217;s African-American heritage.</p>
<p>We find it very irritating when the Obamacans, trolls and newly converted scream at us like we don&#8217;t understand English that we are too stupid to realize that John McCain is using a woman, a conservative woman at that, to fool us into voting for him.  That kind of attitude is beyond condescending and offensive.  I would like to clear a few things up to the permanently addled on Obama: 1.) Not all of us are voting for McCain.  Loyal Democrats such as myself have a very hard time crossing that ideological divide.  and 2.) We are quite aware of what John McCain is up to and the people he is playing for fools are the Obamaphiles and DNC who thought they could wrest away the Evangelical base from the Republican party.  That he picks up some disaffected Hillary voters is icing on the cake for him.</p>
<p>No, the primary source of our disaffection and resistance to the DNC, Obama and even Hillary herself is that the party has lost its moral authority.  In its zeal to select Obama as its nominee, it compromised all that it claimed it believed.  It set up a system that favored one outcome, allowed states to pay for sham primaries, duped voters into thinking their votes counted, reapportioned delegates to suit its needs, intimidated and harassed delegates.  And all in the name of UNITY, which it most certainly did not get.</p>
<p>But the biggest shame falls on the delegates and superdelegates who succumbed to pressure during a vicious witch hunt.  They completely missed the point of Hillary&#8217;s brilliant speech which was not to cave but to keep going.  Yes, she stood up for Barack Obama but she was exhorting the delegates to stand up for themselves and their voters.  But they caved.  We know that Obama whips followed them down the hallways of the hotels like dogs at their heels, screaming at them to sign onto Obama or their political careers would be finished.  We know how they trapped delegates in hotel rooms and used strong armed tactics to get them to switch.  But none of them had to do it.  And if they had hung together and resisted, then the machine that looked so powerful would have been stripped of its formidable image.  It is nothing if there are no people supporting it.</p>
<p>There was an opportunity last Wednesday for all of the delegates to find the core within that would guide them.  That core would have told them what it means to be a loyal Democrat.  That core would have said to count every vote, honor every voter, resist fear, put the common good first, keep their eyes on the future.  Some did.  Most did not.</p>
<p>In those moments on Wednesday, the delegates signed away the name of the Democratic party.  It will not have another in my life.</p>
<p>That is the source of our resistance.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>While it should come as no surprise to me that the sort of people who would support <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USA_PATRIOT_Act">the</a> <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_War_Resolution">kinds</a> of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligence_Reform_and_Terrorism_Prevention_Act">evils</a> Hilary has helped bring forth over the years, would still be whining about how she lost the popular vote, I had no idea how <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/27/so-this-is-how-liberty-dies-with-thunderous-applause/">delusional</a> these folks really were.  I recently ran across a blog called <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com">The Confluence</a>, which has lowered my opinion of Hilary supporters even further.  The writer claims to be part of a group called <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Party_Unity_My_Ass">PUMA</a>, a barely notable blip on the political radar that is having a hissy fit because voters chose Barack Obama over Hilary Clinton.  What is hilarious and sad at the same time is the lack of grip on reality that the writer and many of the commenters exhibit.  Come along with me and I&#8217;ll take you on a tour of their madness.</p>
<p>First and foremost I am amused by the comment the author makes that <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/27/so-this-is-how-liberty-dies-with-thunderous-applause/">Liberty has died &#8220;with thunderous applause&#8221;</a>.  Evidently she&#8217;s unsure of the definition of Liberty.  You see Obama won the popular vote, and led in the popular vote for practically the entire primary.  The voters of America chose him.  To pick Hilary over Obama when the voters have chosen Obama would resemble the death of Liberty.  But as for allowing the popular vote to stand?  That&#8217;s preserving Liberty.  What makes this misunderstanding of Liberty even more confusing is the existance of other <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/27/blame-the-superdelegates-for-the-impending-disaster/">posts</a> on <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/27/wednesday-america-call-your-superdelegates/">the</a> <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/26/delegates-mad-as-hell-scramble-for-floor-vote/">blog</a> where the author advocates encouraging the Democratic super-delegates to deal a finishing blow to Democracy by overriding the popular vote.  I think perhaps the author is mistaking <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oligarchy">Oligarchy</a> for <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy">Democracy</a>, because otherwise I don&#8217;t see how wanting a bunch of elite old white guys to override the popular vote would preserve Liberty at all.</p>
<p>But the madness doesn&#8217;t stop there.  Oh no.  It gets deeper and deeper, earlier in <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/26/tuesday-happy-anniversary/">another post</a> our friendly crazed Hilary blogger said:</p>
<blockquote><p>What we have witnessed this year seems to have set back the clock for the rights of women by 40 years.</p></blockquote>
<p>Really?  Forty years?  How exactly does Hilary&#8217;s losing the election to the better candidate set back human rights?  Why is it any surprise that Hilary, who <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_Protection_Act_of_2005">opposes free speech</a>, supports <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Family_Entertainment_Protection_Act">censorship</a>, supports Bush&#8217;s position on <a href="http://www.hillaryclinton.com/news/release/view/?id=3632">executive authority</a>, supports the death penalty, wants to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Child_Left_Behind_Act">weaken and destroy public education</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Authorization_for_Use_of_Military_Force_Against_Iraq">supported the war in Iraq</a>, AND the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USA_PATRIOT_Act">Patriot Act</a>, didn&#8217;t exactly play well with a lot of Democrats and concerned moderates?  Hilary is basically just a pro-choice version of George Bush, hell she was head of the College Republicans on her campus during her University years!</p>
<p>I&#8217;d encourage everyone to head over to The Confluence and have a look around, you&#8217;ll find all the Hilarious Hilary Hijinks we enjoyed during the campaign and even more.  The level of insanity and self deception is simply <strong>astounding</strong>, here are some brief highlights of the points I don&#8217;t have room to cover in detail:</p>

<LI> Complaints that <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/25/when-democracy-returns-to-the-democratic-party-so-will-we-until-then-puma/">Florida voters</a> didn&#8217;t get a say in the election, despite the fact that Hilary led the charge to have them unseated.<br />
<LI> Comments that <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/27/blame-the-superdelegates-for-the-impending-disaster/">Obama&#8217;s party loyalty should be questioned</a>, followed by <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/27/dear-nj-delegates-i-didnt-release-you/">comments that claim party loyalty is unimportant</a>.<br />
<LI> <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/26/if-youre-not-asleep-you-might-be-up-all-night/">Lighting candles of mourning</a> for Hilary&#8217;s failed presidential run.<br />
<LI> And of course for all their want to be heard, the <a href="http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/2008/08/25/a-safe-refuge-and-open-thread/">sites ground rules are a good laugh</a>.  Disagree with them, and your comments will be deleted.<br />

<p>Well, keep the good comedy coming in &#8220;The Confluence&#8221;, and don&#8217;t worry, we won&#8217;t try to win your vote.  Even if all five of PUMAs members vote for McCain this November, it won&#8217;t be noticed one bit.</p>

<p>There are people who are responsible for the impending disaster.  They are the Superdelegates.  They have a choice.  They can go with the competent, dedicated, brilliant, knowledgeable DEMOCRAT, or they can choose the post partisan, unscrupulous, unethical, schmoozer whose party loyalty is in doubt.</p>
<p>To US, the choice is simple.  It&#8217;s not our fault that we refuse to swallow the poison.</p>
<p>When Obama loses in November, and he will, look to the people who had the obligation to rescue the country from three consecutive terms of Republican rule.  The Superdelegates.</p>

<p>And she still managed to get the same dim witted questions from the press.  &#8220;Are you still going to vote for Obama in the general election?&#8221;</p>
<p>We at the Den get these types of questions all day long from the media.  It seems like they are on automatic.  We throw a wrench into their mechanism whenever they ask whether Hillary is standing in Obama&#8217;s way.  Here&#8217;s the answer:  <strong>NO, *Obama* is standing in HILLARY&#8217;S way</strong>.</p>
<p>We have no idea why the Superdelegates and the DNC are promoting Obama over the most talented woman politician of our lifetime.  Our country is suffering from 8 years of criminal Republican rule.  The Bush administration never believed in government and it set out to dismantle it, discredit it, destroy it.  When the new occupant of the White House arrives next January, we do not know what we will find.  The task ahead is going to be formidable.  So, why are we putting a novice in charge?  Why is it that in a year when everyone is calling for Change! we are given a choice between another Republican or a completely inexperienced establishment candidate with middle aged white guy establishment VP?  Why are we passing up the best person in the room to be our champion?</p>
<p>It is unfathomable to believe that this is all about gender and yet I can arrive at no other conclusion.  Hillary Clinton *earned* the title of Democratic Nominee.  Beginning last fall, we saw her become a political force of nature.  She is brilliant, knowledgeable, energetic, courageous and committed.  She has even earned the grudging respect of Republican voters around the country.  With Hillary as the nominee and Obama as her VP, we could unite the two factions of the party and  have an unbeatable ticket this fall.</p>
<p>The pledged delegate count between Obama and Clinton is so close that the Obama campaign and the DNC have felt it necessary to bully and intimidate delegates to make sure that Obama gets the number he needs.  The DNC has awarded Obama unearned delegates from Michigan.  It has give Obama delegates that the voters gave to Clinton in Michigan, Texas, Nevada and elsewhere.  There was widespread intimidation of voters in caucus states by operatives of the Obama campaign.  We have the testimonials of many, many people who witnessed it.  The DNC and the Obama campaign have behaved disgracefully and all to deprive voters of their right to be heard.  They have played with every rule and pulled out every stop in order to give Obama every advantage and he is still only barely getting enough pledged delegates to &#8220;win&#8221;.  This is the truth that the DNC has been trying to obscure fot the past several months:  <strong>Neither candidate has sufficient pledged delegates to win the nomination.  The superdelegates will have to decide.  At this point in time, the Democrats do not have a nominee, presumptive or otherwise.  Obama was not entitled to call himself presumptive nominee.</strong> Media, do you hear us now?  That&#8217;s why it is Obama stepping on Hillary&#8217;s toes, not the other way around.</p>
<p>And so, dear readers, the task is now appointed to you.  You must find a way to reach out to the superdelegates who will decide this election to make the right decision.  Call your senators and congressmen, your governors and state party chairmen, the DNC, Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi.  Tell them you have had enough of Republican rule.  Tell them you do not want 4 years of John McCain.  Tell them you want a ticket you can be proud to support.  Tell them to put Hillary Clinton at the top of that ticket.</p>
<p>What is not impossible is possible.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p><span style="color:#333399;"><a href="http://logisticsmonster.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/hillarysto_pixel_si_388997a.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1419" src="http://logisticsmonster.wordpress.com/files/2008/08/hillarysto_pixel_si_388997a.jpg" alt="" width="385" height="185" /></a>I sat and watched the now legendary Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton give an amazing speech that was both loyal to the Democratic Party and sincere.  Am I sad that Senator Clinton had to do this walk of shame for another candidate that is so unworthy?  Yes.  Am I upset that, for whatever pressures were being applied to this amazing woman, she chose to reward the corrupt DNC leadership with her support instead of unsuspending her campaign after all the shenanigans with the caucuses, the primaries, the roll call vote and tell Barack to take a hike and let the chips fall where they may?  That Would Be A Big Right-E-O!  Will this wonderful speech that has overshadowed every other speaker (including her highness, Mishy) change my mind and help me fall in line, come home, and get behind Gumby?</span></p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><span style="color:#333399;">Nope, nada, never, Nobama&#8230;..The Democratic Party&#8217;s Selected Nominee.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#333399;">I do not follow party lines, I have been an Independent voter since Carter was creamed and have always voted for CHARACTER AND EXPERIENCE.  As the presidential campaigns have played out over the years, I have always voted for Democrats. </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#333399;">I started out this election cycle looking at everybody; the Indies, the Greens, the Dems and also the Republicans.  There has to be a reason why the Republican Party has won so many Presidential campaigns; all republicans are not as lacking as George Bush, and I have never been convinced that McCain was another George Bush until I watched Barack start acting like Bush, and then knew for sure that immaturity and foolishness are not the sole property of the Republican Party.  There has to be a good reason why Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska has a 90% approval rating and is proud to say that she is a Republican.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#333399;">I was looking for character, achievement, experience and sincerity.  I found those in Senator Hillary Clinton and put my money and support behind her because I <span style="text-decoration:underline;">believed</span> her when she spoke about her solutions for America.  Barack and Michelle; not so much; then again, not at all.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#333399;">I know for a fact that Barack has very little in common with me.  Yes, we both went to private, college prep high schools; but I am sure that Gumby did not start working at age 13 to pay for his tuition to go to that private school and work year round just for the opportunity to receive a better education.  From that point on, Bambi and I have nothing in common.  I personally think that if Bambi actually had to work a bit harder for the gifts that he has received, he might actually be a more mature, more sincere person, with better judgement. </span></p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><span style="color:#333399;">I will always take issue with Barack and Michelle Obama taking their children to Jeremiah Wright&#8217;s church. </span></p>
