(HMG) – It must suck being a celebrity parent, especially as strange as the Cruise couple and their adorable little Suri. At an event for the Dizzy Feet Foundation, Katie Holmes “defended” her and Tom’s decision to allow Suri to wear high heeled shoes at three years old:

“She, like every little girl – she loves my high heels. They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids,” Katie said. “I found them for her and she loves them.”

That should put the “they will effect her bone strength/growth” arguments to rest.

But according to some rumors, there are quite a few problems going on in the Cruise household at the moment.

A source told celebrity gossip blog, PoponthePop that things are getting heated between Tom and Kate. Apparently, Tom wants another child, but Katie says no, not until he stops spoiling Suri, and starts to discipline consistently.

“He lets her do anything she wants, from eating cupcakes for breakfast to drawing on the walls. He never says no to her.”

“Some days, Suri won’t even let Katie touch her hair.” And the staff are too frightened of losing their jobs to stand in Suri’s way.

But their reps have been denying rumors of fights, with the slightly creepy platitude of their being nothing wrong ever in any way between the couple.

I’m packing and packing. What is this deal? There’s not a dog, a cat, an alpaca or a person in sight. It looks like 32 degrees will be the high for the week–if the thermometer makes that. I have eleventy-two thousand boxes to pack, a realtor to hire, clean-up, and a trailer to haul to Oklahoma. What’s wrong with this picture? I think I’ll order a truck and take as much as I can this trip.

They tell me the big west-facing windows should be put in this week and I’m missing it. Our little Demi has lost four pounds from the cold and there are single digit temperatures predicted for the next couple of nights. If it’s that cold here, it can only be worse up in the mountains. There is no green grass. I need to get to work and spring us all.

Meanwhile, Tom’s in OK fiddling with warm sensibilities–satellite TV and teaching. He’s eating breakfast out while I’m dining on what’s left in the cabinets so I won’t have to move as much. He’s complaining that it’ll only be 40 today in Grove while we’re working with 27 here. Grumble, grumble, grumble.

ZsaZsa’s little boots are such a hoot and she was born with enough fleece that it swings back and forth when she walks–it  even did on the day she was born. The word is that she’s a pronking instigator.

“Seguimos bien”

Suri me ha pedido que le haga una foto para que veais que esta bien. Los compromisos profesionales no nos dejan mucho tiempo para cumplir la promesa de una foto al dia, pero lo intentaremos.

Como digo yo siempre, estar muy ocupado en tiempos de crisis es una suerte. Jejeje!

Sempre amei a Suri Cruise de paixão! Primeiro porque ela é aquele tipo de criança que dá vontade de apertar até ficar sem respiração, e fazer aquelas coisas que tia fazem com as bochechas até ficar com hematomas. Segundo porque ela é filha da Katie, e eu a amo. E, por terceiro e o mais obvio de todos, porque se veste melhor que muita gente grande por ai (muita gente, mesmo!)

Mas ao me deparar com essa foto, eu vi como ela cresceu, como ela tá linda, e como eu preciso dessas galochas com asinhas dela (mesmo que eu não use, eu quero! hahahhaha) (Tá, eu não sou muito fã de fadinhas, mas a gente tira as fadinhas e fica só com as asinhas)

And some of us are moving to Zena, OK and the trailer will be loaded on Tuesday. I just wish we were taking everything, but not enough is finished in Oklahoma to move it all, so we have settled for moving several large pieces of furniture and a lot of boxes.

Actually the biggest and most important things we will be moving are our three cats, Madeline, Bristol and Antonia. We took Bristol to the vet to learn about sedation since he is a screamer. He was all upset just going to the vet. Imagine 1500 miles!

The alpacas aren’t going with us immediately since the fences aren’t up yet and we have finishing to do on the inside of the barn. So this time we’ll have to settle for getting the apartment into reasonable order, setting up the barn and figuring out where those all-important fences go.

Tom has an appointment on December 3, hence the trip down now. Of course it won’t hurt a thing to have these infernal boxes moved. There are 20 boxes of books right now and probably another 20 to go and we won’t even go into the clocks (my father worked on clocks in his later years), and I am into crafts, spinning, knitting (fledgling) and of course, alpacas.

Tika is actually an appaloosa.

While Tika looks like she’s a solid color, she has more than a dozen spots in her blanket alone, so I guess she should have been included in the photos of multis, but it’s easy to glance at her and forget she’s not a solid color.

Since I don’t have much time this morning, this will have to do. …And I know I own you photos of the cats too.

Kijk maar naar Suri Cruise. De 3-jarige kleuter liep met knuffel én op zilverkleurige pumps samen met mama, Katie Holmes te winkelen in Boston.

Dat je wilt dat je dochter hip, cute en fabulous is, dat kan ik best begrijpen. De 3-jarige is onder de fashionatas ( :’) ) een stijlicoon aan het worden. Dat is een hele verantwoordelijkheid op je derde! De oogappel van Tom Cruise heeft een eigen  inloopkast vol designerkleding, schoenen, tassen en andere leuke spulletjes. Hoge hakken zijn gemaakt om het vrouwenlichaam zo mooi en sexy mogelijk te laten uitkomen. Iets wat je niet zou moeten willen voor een 3-jarige. Helaas is Suri niet de enige kleuter die zich voordoet als een wulpse 20-plusser. En al deze kleuters worden door de ouders gestimuleerd om er aan mee te doen. Sick!

I am taking a break from packing and fuming (in a very nice way) because my friends won’t send me any pictures of my house and barn and the apartment over the barn. I think they want to see my jaw drop. I am in Utah and we will be going to Oklahoma around Thanksgiving. My friend the computer genius who sends the photos has been traveling for work for over a month and hence, no pictures for me

Henry, the contractor has been photographing everything but sending pictures is not his thing. I hear little snippets when I ask specific questions, but that is all. Once the trailer is loaded we’re hitting the road and we’ll see everything for ourselves. Until then, the suspense is killing me.

So, if you are wondering why I have not put any pictures on the internet, there is the answer.

Sonnet is a fantastic mother and her cria are gorgeous. Madrigal’s fleece is even better than Sonnet’s and Cavatina not only has wonderful fleece, but also must be one of the most photogenic alpacas.

A London-based translation firm is offering parents-to-be the chance to check the meaning of prospective baby names in other languages to avoid inadvertently causing their offspring future embarrassment.

Celebrity couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes might have thought twice about naming their daughter Suri if they’d known that it means “pickpocket” in Japanese, “turned sour” in French, and “horse mackerels” in Italian, suggest Today Translations.

For 1,000 pounds ($1,678), the company’s linguists will carry out a “basic name translation audit” of names, checking their meaning in 100 languages, or more for an additional cost.

While open to everyone, the firm said it expects the service is likely to attract celebrity clients, who are known for giving their babies unusual names.

Other celebrity baby names it has checked include Kai Rooney, the newborn son of English soccer player Wayne Rooney, whose name means “probably” in Finnish, “pier” in Estonian, and “stop it” in the west African language of Yoruba.

And while musicians Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale may have known Zuma meant “peace” in Arabic when choosing their son’s name, they may not have been aware it also translates as “Lord frowns in anger” in the Aztec language of Nahuatl.

Some unusual celebrity baby name choices are beyond easy translation however, the company admits, such as Jermajesty — the son of Michael Jackson’s brother Jermaine.

One of the things I’ll be working on once we get to Oklahoma is photographing our black alpacas, especially the true black girls. Does anyone know a secret for capturing the beautiful locks without turning them brown?

Mia is a good mother as well as a good looker.

Our Demelza is our darling, born only two days after we purchased her mother. She is a spunky girl, absolutely full of herself. She has trained us to do many tricks, like giving her an extra portion of grain.

Demelza surprised us by arriving a full month early.

I haven’t been on here in just about forever since I have been occupied with our new ranch and herd. In case anyone hasn’t heard, we now have 30 suri alpacas courtesy of another purchase (17) girls. 10 of our girls are now pregnant with one due any day. The cria gave an enormous kick yesterday, so it’s in there, thinking about exiting.

Don Llewellyn and I discuss haltering and shots while Fanny hides her face in my arm for comforting. All of the alpacas will go through herd health, receiving vitamins plus injections for worming since there are white-tailed deer (UT does not have this species) meningeal worm carriers in our area of Oklahoma. I am learning all I can before the actual move. On this day–subcutaneous injections, not so difficult since I once had a cat who needed IVs.

A large portion of our move happens in about a week when our three cats, Spot the dog, Tom and I head south over the Thanksgiving holiday. I will be back to finish up in Utah, but the house will be largely empty and Tom may remain in Oklahoma since he begins teaching in January.

The first load of girls and boys should arrive before the end of the year and the true story of Zena will start its next chapter.

According to Reuters, a new translation service is available for expecting parents. For just 1,000 pounds – that’s about US $1,678 – the firm will translate a name into 100 languages.

The firm suggests this service will prevent parents from naming their kids things like Suri.  (Speculation has run wild about the name’s meaning ever since Tomkat chose the appellation.)  They also warn about the perils of Kai (apparently it means “stop it” in Yoruba) and Zuma (which means “Lord frowns in anger” in Nahuatl.)

Humphrey Bogart once quipped “You’re not a star until they can spell your name in Karachi.”  If you’re Gwen Stefani, I can imagine that you could fret about how your little one’s name will appear in the press in Shanghai and Dubai and hey, maybe even amongst the Ancient Aztecs.  (Actually, Nahuatl is spoken by more than a million people, mostly in Mexico.  But still.)

And yet somehow, I can’t help think that if you’re into Extreme Baby Naming you can live with the possibility that your kid’s name might not work well in West Frisian or Igbo.

Adica, pe ce ca imi era o frica imensa de aruncatul in sus de 18 ori, a trebuit sa-mi infrunt teama de 2 ori…am mai fost aruncata de inca 18 ori pe cat trebuia :-l, din cauza unor persoane care nu au vazut cand am fost proiectata in aer prima data si au vrut un bis, iar baietzii nu au stat pe ganduri. Si Habiba, care o sa aibe un rol foarte important in ceea ce priveste pozele mele. Sa-i spunem ca are job'ul de fauritoare de amintiri…Ar trebui sa-i acord o marire de salariu pentru toate sedintele foto de pana acum…Ca sa nu mai zic de Suri…fara ea, adio eu ( adica adio majorat). Stiam eu ca Suri le rezolva pe toate.Imi amintesc acum ce spunea BB despre ea acum cativa ani…" sor-ta bate tot!". Indeed!
Mi-a facut placere sa ii am pe toti langa mine, really. Mi-a facut si mai placere sa-i vad pe toti cum pleaca acasa pe 3 carari…M-am simtit bine cand mi-am dat seama pe la 2 dimineatza ca nu eram singura tocmai de majoratul meu ( si aici cineva a avut un rol special)…Le multumesc chiar si persoanelor care au uitat de ziua mea, oricum nu-mi place sa mi se ureze "La multi ani!" la fiecare gura de aer pe care o iau. O singura persoana n-am s-o iert in schimb ca a uitat, so hasta nunca, baby! ( citand din Habiba). Le multumesc si persoanelor mai indepartate care si-au amintit de ziua mea, cu toate ca nu sunt in cele mai bune relatii cu ele. Nici in urma urarilor nu am sa fiu, dar am apreciat respectul.
Sper din tot sufletul ca invitatii s-au simtit bine: cei care dansau cu sticla de vodka in mana, cei care au dansat, cei care stateau jos si radeau de cei care dansau, cei care m-au aruncat in sus, cei care au facut atmosfera…Cum m-am simtit eu? Ca la 18 ani…:)

P.S: Tin sa-i multumesc si lu' mami ca mi-a suportat toate toanele de saptamanile astea, chiar daca e afoana de internet si n-o sa vada ever articolul asta. Poate ca ea a petrecut cel mai bine si s-a simtit ca la 18 ani…Blonda spune ca poza asta va fi mai celebra decat aia in care Einstein a scos limba.Evident, e mama! Show some respect!

Before I continue entering info on our herd into openherd, I thought I would select a few unposed photos of the show process. Tom and I learned a lot about driving with alpacas–check on them every 100 miles or so. It’s good for them to stop bouncing, there is ample opportunity to make certain they are eating and that there is plenty of clean water. As an added bonus, the driver gets to make a pit stop and the gasoline and coffee levels are topped off.

The show venue provides a bedding material, which needs to be de-lumped and spread to withing six or so inches of the edge of the stall. We joined in with Fox Run Suri Alpacas and rented two stalls since they only had one alpaca they were showing and we didn’t need our boy Cantu mating with both of our nearly-ready-to breed girls on this occasion.

Alpaca mats are loosely woven stall-sized coverings that keep undesirable liquid (yes, that’s exactly what I mean) away from your beautiful show animals. Having them also means you don’t need excess hay or straw and you can easily remove beans from the area. Remember to bring hay and that you have clean water. We often buy, or bring water that the alpacas are accustomed to drinking and we bring hay from home since changing hay can cause digestive troubles.

The alpacas are under enough stress without adding to it.

Keeping the fleece clean at home and on the road means that it will have the luster and cleanliness needed to show it off to its best advantage. It’s not so much the bits of hay that are on top, as Cantu is showing as it is ground in nastiness that judges (quite rightly) hate to touch. The white alpaca, Fox Run’s Solaris by Apocalypse and our dark brown boy Fox Run’s Cantu by Nomar took home blue ribbons in the Spinoff as well as in Halter judging.

Solaris, who is for sale and can also be seen on Fox Run’s website and on Alpacanation also snagged the Judges Choice ribbon.

Seven ribbons for four alpacas isn’t very discouraging at all. I guess we’ll be doing more shows.

This photo was just released from Radaronline with the headline which read “How romantic!” should read “How unromantic!”There is absolutely nothing romantic about this photo or the countless other photos I just analyzed for In Touch Weekly regarding Tom and Katie’s body language and what it says about their relationship.

In a retrospective I did, you can see how miserable they look together. It’s quite a contrast from their early days together. It is clear that this couple has grown apart. Now practically all of Tom and Kate’s photos look like this with his head bowed down, having a tight hand grip on Katie, both looking in the opposite direction as Katie looks tense, sad or both.

It doesn’t matter that they recently purchased a new NY Greenwich village 15 million dollar townhome or are seen holding hands. There is nothing romantic about Tom and Katie anymore as both of their body languages scream unhappiness. No matter how hard they try to fake it for the sake of the press, their true feelings leak out.

TOM LOOKS MISERABLE WITH KATIE

Tom is clearly not happy with Katie anymore and it shows in his body language. It has become more and more evident based on all of the recent photos I have analyzed. In fact, now mater how many pictures they take with Suri or without Suri , the bottom line is they both look miserable. Tom who for decades has usually been seen happy or calm, now looks terribly sad. Never before have we seen Tom looking so serious and so “bummed out.”He looks down. He looks tense. He looks unhappy This is not the Tom we once knew.

No matter what your opinion was of Tom Cruise is, no one can deny that he had the most electric and infectious . His smile seemed to make you smile. The only time Tom wasn’t smiling or calm was when he was in a film role when he was looking sad or angry or doing whatever was required of the character.

But now it seems that’s the only facial expression Tom is wearing is a tense and sad one. No matter how much handholding with Katie, he is unhappy around her.

KATIE LOOKS MISERABLE WITH TOM

Kalie looks just as miserable if not more. While Tom doesn’t even bother to smile , sometimes you see Katie eeking out a phony or fake smiles where her lips are spread but her eyes are sad. In this phot you see the tension in her neck muscles. She used to have a beautiful smile as well where she used to place her tongue up on the roof of her mouth and always have an open mouthed smile. You never see this facial expression in her anymore. She seems like a mere shell of herself.

When you look at the early photos of the two of them, they were clearly in love. Tom was smitten with her and she adored Tom. Their bodies didn’t lie then and they don’t like now. Now it is the complete opposite. The only thing they have in common it seems is their love for little Suri. They are both obviously staying in the marriage for the sake of Suri but it is at a huge cost- their happiness.

EASY SOLUTION

I hope Tom and Katie shwo their charismatic and genuines smile again. It is hard to be happy with anyone who csn’t happy being with you. I hope they resolve whatever is ailing them.This way everyone can be happy.
They both deserve to be happy and genuinely smile again.
