http://kitsunekko.net/subtitles/japanese/ – It has R2 episode 1-3 & episode 1 of Code Geass. So they should have all the lines since it is a script file probably ripped from the dvd files

The LINES/Transcription – stuff I found from searching random lines from an ep etc.  I guess I can’t guarantee every single line from the ep but I’m pretty sure it’s like 95% + at least and maybe somewhere towards 99% or even 100% if you combine/use all the links below.

anime transcripts’s code geass page – they piss me off b.c. they sep in multiple pages and i have to scroll SO MUCH. and the furigana pisses me off a lot. i don’t get the furigana. either it’s all on or none on that site. so annoying. In theory they should have all the lines like the exact subs and I think they do

The eps on crunchyroll – if your computer crashed and lost the files etc.

If you do have the eps and you are really obsessed with this show (and sometimes heraing it makes it easier to learn it or whatever) then you can do the efficient listening.  if you have just the avi then you can probably find subtitles even if they’re in spanish or whtaever.

FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ARE LIKE OMG I only know hirgana/basic greetings/basic but I loves CG & Lelouch so kawaiis / i want to watch anime without subs ASAP etc. 一言を言うとふざけんな

Chinese indie that reminds me of korean indie! lolz. But honestly I love this band　judging from this song. I just can’t seem to download anything of theirs!! Like I found links but they don’t work. MF links on some chinese board. MF links worked!… mf is just glitchy sometimes…. (oh HOLD UP… the quality is like MAD LOW like one of them is 96 kbps!!! but there is this song called your coat that  i RELALY LIKE on that album with the 96 kbps omgs if anyone knows higher quality DL links, tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!) chinese people are awesome with the download links on those boards. It’s not the CHINESE LANGAGE THING but honestly a lot of these chinese artistshave  bad voices or just voices I find irritating but I did find a few I REALLY LIKE like Vitas LU & hers etc. I will continue on my conquest to find some good chinese indie or rock or folk or jazz etc. I am planning to learn mandarin… right now I’m just listening to it as much as possible till I can hear every syllable or something…. no… till I can differentitate cantonese and mandarin. like listen to something and know it is or it is NOT cantonese/mandarin cause I have no IDEA right now. ahhhh… there’s actually a song in Japanese (I think it’s part japanaese/chinese for that song ) on their album and it sounds… good. I wonder why they chose to do that….

Remon Pan (Lemon) The talk show chef. He’s angsty and mean, and Meron’s total opposite. Based on the Lemon pastry puff found in chinatown. Even though he’s Meron’s twin they don’t see each other often, especially since Meron’s been kicked out of the family. And no, he wasn’t around to witness that….Seiyuu? The same as Meron, Rie Kugimiya…(Nagi, Hayate no Gotoku! Shana, Shakugan no shana, Alphonse, FMA , Miharu, Nabari no Ou)

Oh..fun fact. In both english and japanese, Yuuri Shibuya(Kyo Kara Maou) and Suzaku Kururugi (Code Geass) are played by the same person. In japanese, they”re both Takahiro Sakurai (The seiyuu pick for chocolate/Mint) In english they’re voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, my favorite voice actor ever! Except, I hear his voice everywhere. Seriously. He’s Ben 10 for crying out loud. And SASUKE(Naruto). Sometimes, I’ll buy a video game and Bam! I’ll hear his voice and nearly drop the controller.Quit stalking me Yuri! It’s okay, I know I’ll hear your voice somewhere else later…

In addition, our merry band of miscreants has been watching an anime series called “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion“.  It’s 50ish episodes total divided into 2 seasons and COMPLETELY worth your time.  I just finished it last night and I feel great about how it ended.  The characters are interesting and consistent, the artwork is decent and though CLAMP did the original character designs they aren’t horrible, and finally and most importantly the writing is really intriguing and subtle.  At times it can be extremely over the top, but I found that my feelings regarding many of the main characters vacillated between extreme hatred and overwhelming sympathy.

I recently started playing through Mass Effect, and it’s still too early for me to make a statement on how I feel about the game, but I must admit that the character models are GREAT and I enjoy the conversation tree system a lot.  The gameplay is taking a lot of getting used to, I’m not very apt at squad based combat but I’m sure I’ll figure it out.  I tend to be a lone, stealthy person and right now Shepherd is bumbling about.

That’s enough rambling, expect something more coherent soon.  Also, I would be remiss not to recommend Endless Frontier: Super Robot Taisen OG Saga for the DS.  Conor, Terry, and the rest of our merry band have been playing the hell out of it.  Personally, I want to pick up Broken Sword but right now I’m reading a book by Herman Hesse named Narziss and Goldmund and before that I reread Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison and East of Eden by John Steinbeck.

I never thought that this season of Code Geass would be more intersting than its first season. Though I’m not a fan of CLAMP’s works, I love this series, plot-wise and art-wise.

Compared to its first season, R2 has a lot of twists and turns that will eventually keep you at the edge of your seats. it has beome darker and more dramatic as the characters verged more of their serious side. The characters maturity adds to the mind-boggling plot of the story.

Speaking of characters, some of the come-backing characters have their vengeful plots. Addition to that is the appearance of new characters which will surely make the story more interesting and may help in the unfolding of mysteries and questions previously arise from the season one.

The opening songs, O2 by Orange Range and World End by Colours are all good. While the ending song Shiawase Neiro is a bit sad (but still good) and the ending video looks based from manga.

All in all, if you’re really a hardcore fan of Code Geass then you’ll surely love this one. This is an action packed anime plus the mecha genre along with it.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Revolution is an anime series under the Sunrise production and directed by Goro Taniguchi and written by Ichiro Okouchi with characters designed by Clamp. It first aired on October 05, 2006 and ran until  July 28, 2007 for the first season and resumed on April 06, 2008 for the airing of the second season which ended just last September 28, 2008. Tha manga adaptations, which carry alternating interpretations started serializing  in October of 2006.

It started out with a person having no special intricacies in life except for his finesse in chess. Other than that, he was just a rich brat with time to waste. Then he met C.C., the shady chic with green hair and everything became anything but normal. With a two-season installment and once-in-a-while dragging episodes, it ended with a very superb ending – something that you thought you expected but would never be able to pull off.

Something about the characterizations of the people in the episode makes you love them and hate them and wonder about them at the same time. The line between protagonists and antagonists becomes almost invisible, leaving you to wonder and ask, “Who’s the main character here again?”

Exposure wise, Lelouch is the protagonist. Usual plot wise, you would think it’s Suzaku. Power wise, you would think it’s anybody’s ball game.

Here are some of the things that I would never forget about the series:

• never ever get lost in the shifting of the personalities you are trying to live – if you are not as good as Lelouch, you will definitely lose yourself in the middle
• the most effective way to bring a high-ranking official down, no matte how prestigious they are, is to call them using a name of a fruit. (Orange-kun)
• underlying relationship between Lelouch and close male characters – Suzaku and Rolo – everybodywho has watched the movie and do not have the kinks of doing it with the same sex may find this idea perverse but I swear on my dead lesbian escapades, Lelouch is a potential ya-oi superstar.
• one lesson learned: If you have this magnanimous dream to make the world a “better place”,  don’t have kids – they will ruin your plan for you especially if they are as good as you are.
• with all the men in Britannia, only Suzaku can match the amazon of the black nights – Karen. And considering that Suzaku was working under Lelouch’s geass to survive. It only shows that the only man who has balls big enough to carry Lelouch to victory is a woman.

For those people who haven’t seen the series yet, I hope this article would make you want to see it. It’s a nice change from this era of predictable plots. (Really!) For those who have seen the series, let’s congratulate ourseleves for being so damned lucky for having done so!
