The latest installment of TCW gifts us with several talking points: the grotesque, the holy-crap-how-did-they-do-that factor, and as per the usual, characterization. Firstly, I have to be honest. I was very much on edge during this episode. My expectations were, for once, not unreasonably high. Anytime someone mentions “zombies”, I have knee-jerk reaction of, “Oh, this again.” Coming into Friday night’s episode, the only thing I was thinking about were zombie bugs and how the HELL Dave was going to work them into Star Wars. Blah, Blah Deathtroopers, I know, I know… ONWARD.

So… the characterization… yeah, about that… Um, was it me or was Luminara a little out of character? From her initial spunky retorts addressed to Obi-Wan, to her “intending to grab him [Poggle]” she seemed more extroverted from the Luminara we were introduced to in Cloak of Darkness and Weapons Factory. The only thing I can think of that would herald this change is the loss of Barriss. Yes, she wasn’t present in Cloak of Darkness, but she was also uninjured, and Luminara had a replacement padawan of sorts at the time in Ahsoka. Perhaps she’s taking a page out of Anakin’s playbook. The  plight of the padawans may have effected her Jedi-tude. Anakin, on the other hand, was in classic form. From his trademark worrying, to the disregard for diplomacy over action, Anakin was himself through and through. Ki-Adi-Mundi is as mellow as ever. For some reason I expected his character to be uppity and fussy. I suppose I had unrealistic Gilbert and Sullivan expectations. (I’m still waiting, Dave. Still waiting…) Obi-Wan, who appears to have gotten over his malaise faster than Ki-Of-The-Two-Brains, is back in functioning form. Any residual “Geonosian Fears” that I touched upon in my response to Landing At Point Rain seem to have dissipated. He is his normal, dry self. I thought it interesting that instead of waiting for reinforcements like Anakin championed, during their time in the catacombs, he pushed forward to save Luminara’s life. I considered it a role reversal of sorts between him and Anakin. I particularly enjoyed the scientific aspect of Obi-Wan’s character. In some ways it exemplifies the Jedi detachment sentiment.

In my notes for the show, I have a single word written several times: faces. I noticed that in Legacy of Terror we see close-ups of the characters’ faces more so than in any other episode. It ties into the whole “horror/thriller” vibe of the episode. Seeing the reactions to the zombies and the queen before we see or understand the “threat” adds a psychological thrill to the viewing. The untraditional angles also lend a hand in unbalancing the viewer, and including them in the characters’ predicament.

Another interesting element to Friday’s episode was the sound design. Every sound was designed to set the viewer on edge. Whether it was the ominous clicking of the Geonosians or the slightly “slasher” film sounds throughout the episode, those guys created something downright scary. Also, I found the constant lightsaber hum to be reassuring in such frightening conditions. In addition to the sound effects, Dee Bradley Baker’s Queen Bee was singularly one of the most terrifying voices in SW history. It was grating and chilling, one couldn’t help but listen.

Also, I need to pose a question. Is Obes in charge re: rank wise to Luminara and possibly even Ki-Adi-Mundi? I ask this for several reasons *rolls the EU sleeves up and puts on the nerd glasses*: In Cloak of Deception I seem to remember a scene with Luminara and Obi-Wan where Obes was still clearly a padawan. So seniority wise, he should defer to her, no? I don’t know…that’s why I’m asking you guys.

THE GOOD

• The Sandstorm: It was dusty, dusty eye candy.
• Was this the first mention of bacta in TCW? If it was, hooray!!
• Haters be hatin’, but I love battle droid humor. BDH gives me warm fuzzies.
• The bug “reliquaries” were freaky as all Hell.
• Mmmm… the return of Witty Banter (TM)!
• Were there space! spider webs in this episode? If there were, KUDOS.
• I absolutely love the idea of a Geonosian Hive mind. Also, the fact that Obes was willing to exploit it in order to win the war.
• The animation of the larvae was sickeningly real. Good job?
• EAT THEM, CONTROL THEM. It’s kind of a cake or death thing, no?
• I loved when Obes basically Force shoved Poggle the Tiny into the air.

THE FUG

• There were at times where I swore up and down I was playing a game of Zelda because of the background score.
• Zombie Bugs. As nifty as the idea was and as well executed, I could have done without it.
• The escape from the catacombs was very Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, hmm?
• Two words: Bug Vagina

300 bukan lah satu jumlah yang sedikit. Saya bangga kerana segenap ballroom The Legend penuh dengan wakil² NGO dari seluruh negara. Ini merupakan usaha pendidikan HIV/AIDS yang sangat baik dari ISM. Mereka yang datang ini mewakili pelbagai komuniti sesuai dengan trend HIV/AIDS kini yang tidak mengenal sesiapa.

Pagi saya berkongsi mengenai asas HIV/AIDS bersama wakil komuniti Mak Nyah berkongsi pengalaman mengenai stigma dan diskriminasi dalam masyarakat. Selepas itu forum bersama komuniti mengambil tempat. Wakil-wakil komuniti dari golongah Mak Nyah (TS), Perkerja Seks (SW), Pengguna Dadah Suntikan (IDU), Orang Yang Hidup dengan HIV (PLHIV) dan Lelaki yang mengadakan Hubungan Seks dengan Lelaki (MSM) berkongsi pengalaman dan keperitan distigma dan didiskriminasi. Melihat respond peserta saya yakin mereka mempelajari sesuatu hari ini.

Apa yang menyentuh hati saya ialah apabila melihat wakil² dari Persatuan Orang Pekak Malaysia (MFD) berinteraksi dan begitu berminat dengan isu-isu HIV/AIDS. Dalam dunia tanpa kata² saya percaya mereka juga punya isu dan cabaran HIV/AIDS. dan saya harap saya dapat melakukan sesuatu untuk mereka.

Ein paar kleine Stadtimpressionen aus Jena. Alle drei aufgenommen mit einer analogen Zenit-E bei 200 mm. Wie man sehen kann ist die Kamera nicht mehr die neuste und hat ein paar kleine Probleme mit dem Lichteinfall in der linken oberen Ecke. Ich finde das mittlerweile eigentlich ganz toll, auch wenn bei vielen solche Bilder geradewegs in den Müll wandern.

Vielleicht folgen demnächst noch ein paar weitere Bilder, lasst euch überraschen!

TECSUN S-2000

O TECSUN S-2000 e o GRUNDIG SATELLIT-750 são os mesmos equipamentos (rádios). Originalmente são produzidos na China pela famosa empresa TECSUN. A GRUNDIG revende o seu modelo para o mercado norte americano e a TECSUN para o resto do mundo. Pouca gente sabe mais a TECSUN já produz rádios para a empresa alemã GRUNDIG desde a década de 90,  portanto o bom Know How e experiência não faltam para esses chineses . E podemos ainda dizer que é graças a paixão dos chineses pelo rádio que mesmo em tempos modernos de MP3, Internet e da TV Digital,  que maravilhas como este TECSUN S-2000 estão sendo desenvolvidas e lançadas no mundo, pois do contrário teríamos que nos contentar com os meros e simples rádinhos de pilhas que a maiorias das grandes empresas japonesas produzem hoje.

Quem preferir o modelo TECSUN irá ter algumas vantagens que não são encontradas no mesmo modelo da GRUNDIG, tais como fonte AC/DC embutida, 4 adaptadores de pilhas do tipo 2xAA p/ D ( você pode usar 4 ou 8 pilhas pequenas no lugar de 4 pilhas Grandes ), saída de IF 455 para acessórios externos como por exemplo filtros DSP ou interfaces para DRM ( Digital Radio Mondiale ) etc…

SANYO RP-8880

O visual impressiona tanto pelo acabamento, como pelo design um tanto retrô da década de 80 ( similar ao SANYO RP-8880 produzido em meados de 1978). O rádio além do visual, possui algumas carcteristicas similares ao do SANYO RP-8880, que ao meu ver são interessante tais como as alças laterias, bem como a antena de ferrite para Ondas Médias e Longas que fica na parte externa superior do rádio de forma que podemos ajustar a sua direção para uma melhor recepção sem a necessidade de virar todo o rádio.

Logo que se retira o produto da embalagem, nota-se nitidammente a excelente qualidade do material utilizado para a confecção do TECSUN S-2000:

IMPRESSÃO DE USO

A começar pela impressionante qualidade sonora oferecida pelo S-2000, este possui um poderoso PA (modulo de potência interno) que aliado ao excelente alto falante pesado e a acustica obtida pelo próprio gabinete, fornecem um som de extrema qualidade e de puro HiFi, com excelente resposta nos graves e super graves, médios e agudos. Realmente um som prazeroso de se ouvir que também se traduz em uma maior clareza nas escutas DX. Ainda podemos ligar (acoplar) um dispositivo de MP3 ou um gravador no S-2000 que ele reproduz automáticamente aproveitando-se assim a grande vantagem sonora desse maravilhoso aprelho em outros dispositivos portáteis.

Nas primeiras escutas por mim realizadas com o TECSUN S-2000, confesso que fiquei surpreso, o receptor conta com 2 excelentes filtros de seletividade para AM e também 2 em modo FM (em FM isto é raro) ambos wide/narrow. O filtro de AM wide oferece uma qualidade sonora do tipo HiFi mesmo sendo em amplitude modulada (AM), já o filtro de narrow deixa o AM mais com cara de rádio de AM, porém com a vantagem de estreitar a faixa a fim de remover ou suavizar as interferências do tipo RFI e principalmente remover os espurios de canais adjacentes. Ainda podemos ajustar tanto o controle de grave como de agudo de forma independentes, e  se conseguir uma melhor equalização e consequentemente uma resposta de frequência sonora ainda melhor.

O rádio apesar de possuir vários botões e controles (recursos) é considerado de fácil operação mesmo para o iniciante ou para o mais leigo dos leigos… Tudo o que fazemos é mostrado no visor, se estamos com a antena externa ou interna, se estamos em modo AM, USB ou LSB, nível de atenuação (3 niveis), filtro utilizado wide/narrow, nivel da bateria e etc…

A sensibilidade e seletividade na prática são excelentes em todas as bandas, OL, OM, OT e OC, FM e AIR (aviação cívil), não notei nada que que desabone  essas qualidades no receptor, apenas uma ressalva para algumas imagens em LW quando utilizando na antena de ferrite, mais as imagens são bem reduzidas quando na antena externa. Vale lembrar que imagens são caracteristicas também nos modelos da SONY.

Em Ondas Médias pude perceber tanto de dia como de noite em se tratar de um excelente receptor para OM captando de dia emissoras distântes de outras regiões vizinhas e a noite algumas transoceânicas como R. Voz da Russia em 1548kHz, R France Info em 1557kHz e a Caribbeam Beacon em 1610kHz, escutas essas realizadas por essas bandas apenas com bons equipamentos de boa sensibilidade e seletividade.

Em Ondas Tropicais e Curtas, tanto em AM como em SSB realizei escutas normalmente, 3365kHz Cultura de Araquara, 3320kHz Sonder Grense, 3310kHz Bolivia Mosoj Chaski e etc..

A qualidade em SSB é muito boa mesmo para um rádio com BFO separado, quando a demodulação de um sinal de USB ou LSB é feita, tem-se uma boa clareza e definição de áudio, praticamente perfeita. Já na demodulação ECSS (escutar uma emissora de AM por meio do batimento de USB ou LSB) ai o rádio deixa a desejar nos sinais mais fortes, já nos sinais mais fracos dá para se trabalhar em ECSS. Levando em conta que temos atenuador e botão para controle de ganho (RF-Gain) com um pouco de jeito contorna-se o problema facilmente nos sinais mais fortes.

Hoje pude acompanhar perfeitamente pelo TECSUN S-2000 a transmissão especial da Rádio Santa Helena Day que ocorre geralmente apenas uma vez por ano (geralmente em novembro) este ano na frequencia de 11092,5kHz e sempre em modo USB. É uma transmissão de baixa potência para os padrões de Broadcasting por isso utiliza-se o modo USB para se conseguir um maior alcançe com ainda que com menos potẽncia na TX. Ao comparar a escuta feita no S-2000 com outros rx (conceituados) da minha bancada tais como Icom IC-R75 e Kenwood R-5000, pude perceber que o S-2000 é bom mesmo, pois em alguns momentos a clareza das falas e dos sons era superior no S-2000.

É importante destacar que o S-2000 não é o que podemos chamar de receptor de comunicações e assim sendo, não dá para compara-lo com esses pelo simples fato deste pertencer a uma outra categoria de rádio, no caso do S-2000 a dos rádios portáteis, sim portáteis, visto que o mesmo possui antena própria, compartimento de pilhas, alça para transporta-lo ainda que ligado, rádio FM estéreo e banda de aviação, qualidades estas não encontradas comumente nos receptores de comunicações de HF. A destacar ainda o baixo consumo de energia (excelente autonomia nas pilhas) e por poder ser utilizado apenas na pilha, com a vantagem de ficar imune aos ruídos da rede elétrica. No caso dos receptores de comunicação só se ligarmos o mesmo a uma bateria externa de 12V.

É comum encontrar-mos nas listas e na própia NET comentários comparando receptores entre si, porém na maioria das vezes de forma injusta ou parcial ( comparando rádios de categorias diferentes ou colocando o seu gosto pessoal como algo absoluto) , vale lembrar que temos um rádio para cada tipo de pessoa ou necessidade, e que todos os rádios na verdade se completam. Não existe o melhor rádio para tudo, sempre um terá vantagem sobre o outro em algum apecto ou particularidade, assim cabe ao radioescuta escolher pelo que mais lhe convém e usar de sensatez as informações de REVIEWS,  e tão somente apenas como referência relativa (inclusive esta minha impressão sobre o RX).

Alright, let me give a quick disclaimer: I was waylaid by my own two feet on my way to the local television set in my household. For all you ladies and, um, men who like to wear women’s shoes, just take off your damn high heels before running to catch the latest installment of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (now back in its regularly scheduled time slot of 9PM/EST!). All that is to say, I was two minutes behind when I tuned into the second episode of the Geonosis Arc, “Weapons Factory”. Subsequently, I felt disoriented during the entire episode, whether or not that was because I missed the familiar newsreel and Anakin and Ahsoka briefing their troops or if it was the episode as a whole, I’m not sure.

There were several interesting aspects about tonight’s episode, but what I came away with were two prevailing themes: sacrifice and faith. Yes, those are running themes throughout the show, but I really feel like these were telegraphed strongly this evening. Anakin’s proposed distraction, sending the clones marching in parade formation down the bridge, is one of the first examples of sacrifice in the episode, and what a sacrifice it is. Personally, I don’t think it’s Anakin playing fast and loose with the clones’ lives. It’s just another indicator that clones are becoming more commodity than human. We see the two padawans, Barriss and Ahsoka, willingly undertake a dangerous mission into the honeycombed, Genosian underground while their respective masters distract the Separatist forces. As the episode progresses, Ahsoka and Barriss dig themselves literally and figuratively into a hole. Faced with the inevitable annihilation of their forces should they choose to preserve their own lives, the two padawans make a decision that they believe will cost their own lives for the greater good. On the flip side of this, Anakin is unwilling to sacrifice his padawan for this mission. His attempts to keep her close to him are met with resistance and ultimately failure. What I saw as a more, refreshing theme was that of faith. We see the old SW adage weakness of “Faith in your friends”  evidenced in this episode as well. Though Anakin has no desire to see his padawan undertake this mission, no doubt remembering his own padawan experiences on Geonosis, he has complete faith that she would be able to complete the mission. In fact, more than once Skywalker audibly expresses his faith in her abilities. With his padawan as well as Luminara’s facing mortal peril, only his dogged faith in Ahsoka results in the padawans’ rescue. Ahsoka reciprocates his demonstration of faith telling Barriss that she knew her master, “would come looking for me.”

Juxtaposition was key in tonight’s show. Whether it was the master-padawan relationship between Anakin and Ahsoka and Luminara and Barriss or the partnership between the masters and padawans, it underscored the differences among the Jedi. Where Anakin and Ahsoka have a deeply personal and untraditional relationship that borders, to outsiders, on the disrespectful; Luminara and Barriss have a traditional and deferential teacher-student relationship.

My initial reaction to “Weapons Factory” was latter confirmed (at least to me). Side Note: I like things like this! The penultimate sequence was the first flag. Compare it to the Agni Kai duel in Part Three of Avatar: The Last Airbender: Sozin’s Comet. (Start the video around 7:25…) The muted sound effects and dialogue in conjunction with the musical score created a chilling visual and auditory effect. I was taken aback by how emotionally invested I was when this scene began. There were other little things reminiscent of ATLA as well: the “impenetrable” city, Barriss “drilling” into the Geonosian HQ, or something else my tired brain cannot remember. All in all, if I’m not reading too much into the episode, I enjoyed the little nods to Dave and Giancarlo’s past animated television series.

Another thing that I love about this series compared to the Tartakovsky micro-series, is the use of plausible Force feats. We see the standard  faire: speed, jumps, agility; but as Bryan pointed out we saw a diverse and incredible use of Force skills in “Weapons Factory”.  The Force enhanced upper body strength blew me away. ALSO, let’s discuss a little something. Was emotion used to fuel the force-aided rescue of the padawans? Hmmm? Just throwing that out there. It’s not as if Anakin is necessarily “dark” by this point. So what exactly is the definition of an emotional force user? I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of this in the coming episodes, and what degrades Anakin to where he is fully susceptible to the influence of Palpatine.

OH, I REMEMBER WHAT I WANTED TO TALK ABOUT!!! Okay, so EU Alarmists should run for the hills about now… Alan Dean Foster’s Approaching Storm? Yeah. You’re going to harp on this one for, like, years. Also, the MASH in Space books. Basically, I’ll just retcon the hell out of this for you: Barriss is not Anakin’s age. But, guess what this does set up! Go on, guess! Alright I’ll tell you, if Barriss is only slightly older than Ahsoka and is a Jedi Knight by the time of ROTS, then it stands to reason that Ahsoka may be as well. Suck on that, haters.

Also? I don’t care what any of y’all say… Ahsoka is not going to die. Sure you can rationalize it, but I won’t believe it. If by some snowball’s chance in hell we see her corpse on the season finale, I’ll chalk it up to sleep deprived hallucinations and pretend it never happened. So there.

“You are going to love this sauce”

-Counter woman at Fernando’s Mundo Fiesta, referring to the Vegan Caesar wrap.

Fernando’s is another cart in Portland that you walk by one day, and notice there’s a big “VEGAN FRIENDLY” sign sitting outside. You thank the vocal vegans who have stopped by, or the considerate management, or both, and commence browsing their menu.

In the middle of the growing PSU area cart lot on SW 4th between College and Hall, Fernando’s beckons with their colorful signage, extensive, prominent menu, and on-the-go college student type meals.  Like many other carts on this strip, Fernando’s has a small covered deck where you place your order, and step back on the sidewalk into the drizzle to wait. Their long menu, which is posted all around the counter window and on the deck, includes vegan options for salads, wraps, burritos, and there has been a vegan special featured on both of my visits.

I’ve tried the Vegan Caesar ($5) and the Vegan Tequila ($5.50) wraps. Both of these meals had the following in common:

1. The fillings were slick, no thanks to the oily dressings.
2. I had to hunt for the precious few pieces of tofu in each wrap.  Slimy but decent, nopal cactus dominated the Caesar wrap; while equally slippery hearts of palm took over the Tequila. I counted maybe four miniature rectangles of tofu in the Tequila wrap.
3. Incredibly nice customer service from the counter woman taking and delivering orders.
4. Super quick service: receiving both wraps within mere minutes. If I was rushing between classes, I would not forget this.
5. Dry, but flexible tortillas.

The  housemade Vegan Caesar dressing was flavorful, but it wasn’t creamy.  I didn’t love it- I’m sorry, counter woman!  It was gritty, perhaps there were nuts involved, and again,  oily, like it could use some more time in a blender. Regardless, it did make things interesting in the wrap of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, long pieces of green cactus (which always reminds me of a soft, sour bell pepper) and those few pieces of tofu.  I liked the tang of the homemade Caesar, but the situation was alarmingly oily.

The Vegan Tequila wrap was a special of the day with the addition of hearts of palm; it’s on the regular menu with the bonus of meat or tofu, without the palm. It sounded exciting, with corn, spiced black beans, and their tequila sauce, but this one didn’t hold my interest at all.  It was as if I had poured a little bit of black bean salsa into my wrap, and threw in a can of hearts of palm. I didn’t taste any tequila in this second oily sauce, or really any other flavor.  I was a tragic incident of a wrap and I gave up with over half to go.

So should you go here at all? Keep it in mind if you’re frantically requiring a quick vegan meal in the PSU area to go, refuse to step into Chipotle and don’t have the patience to wait for a fantastic box from Asaase Ital around the corner.  But realistically, particularly after reading about this reviewer’s experiences, are you interested? In a city full of vegan burritos and wraps, I don’t want to eat something I’m not enthusiastic for. There’s potential, and a considerate, friendly welcoming to vegans, but the cart doesn’t deliver on the quality.

If I found myself short on time and around this cart row, I’d half consider a Vegan Caesar salad with the dressing requested on the side, but there are other options that would leap into my head first: calling ahead at aforementioned Asaase Ital, Basha’s, Food for Thought, Hot Lips foccacia slices, and hopefully, coming very soon –the all vegetarian Valhalla moving to the neighborhood, to name a few.

Phyllis Hartnoll’s Final Lesson

This weekend, The Portland Actors Conservatory serves as home to three short plays written, directed and performed by its graduates.

With the creative process serving as the common thread between each piece, they are uniquely emotional.

The first play, titled Phyllis Hartnoll’s Final Lesson, introduces the audience to a professor of theater, on her death bed. Though her attempts to give a final lecture fail,  she is given the chance to end things on her terms, with a voice she had lost. Cate Oarrsion was graceful as Phyllis, and her performance made my heart ache.

Our second piece (and most over-the-top), Donnerstrasse, follows the famous Grimm Brothers in their writing process as they attempt to create a pop song; only to find out they may be stepping on some toes. Important toes. Big toes.In finding this out, the audience experiences the uncomfortable breaking of the wall between reality and the stage – which was appreciated and quite refreshing.  This piece left everyone laughing and Tom Mounsey and Mark Merritt as the brothers had a wonderfuly playful chemistry. I will also add that their German accents made the audience swoon (I was not one of them. The swooners. I am a professional).

Donnerstrasse

Finally, we see Tom Mounsey again along with the delightful Maria Aparo in How to Have an Argument. It’s initial plot seemed to confuse some of the audience, but its ultimate revelation,  dissection of the creative process and plight of a writer really resonated with me;  it pieced all three plays together seamlessly.

Of course, Stay for the Cake is not just about theater and actors and creative processes and pretty people. It’s about sugar and flour and butter.

It’s about cake.

The amazing and deliciously talented folks at  Bakery Bar provide yummy (seriously. omg. want.) cake for each show, and the convection’s introduction to the audience is completely original.

Scott Rogers, the writer of the three pieces (who also performs in the last) has offered to give two pairs of tickets for this weekend – the last weekend – of the show’s run. Please leave a comment below telling us why you’d like to see Stay for the Cake, and which day you’d like to attend.

Da ich ja beschlossen hatte, das heute hier im Blog-Fototag ist, geht es jetzt weiter mit ein Paar S/W-Aufnahmen aus dem Restonica-Tal auf Korsika. Bizarre Fels und Wolkenformationen sind zu beschauen bestaunen. Minimaltische Darstellungen und trotzdem sind sie sehr sehr stimmungsvoll, also das  empfinde ich beim betrachten der Schwarz/Weiß Aufnahmen. Das Wetter dort oben kann recht schnell umschlagen, auch bei unserem Besuch war es  so, eine halbe Stunde nach dem knipsen dieser Fotos fing es an zu stürmen, Regen, Hagel, Wind, es wurde richtig unangenehm und zum Glück saßen wir im Bulli und fuhren bergab beim größten Schauer. Beim Abstieg zum vom Lac de Melo zum Parkplatz fing es schon leicht an zu winden, da störte viele Touristen überhaupt nicht und sie zogen speerlich  Begleitet, manche sogar mit Flipp-Flopps an den Füßen, los zur großen Wanderstunde. Völlig verrückt, meiner Meinung nach.  Kopf schüttelnd stiegen wir vom Berg.

為什麼會有期中考這種東西!!!

所以來簡單介紹一下

1.技能

我習慣是 1212141….後面要點黃十字,第二招,第三招看情形
     case 1 :

         很殺, 殺很大, 看魔夠用嗎? 不夠就黃十字, 堪用就第二招

    case 2 :

         會戰是對面的集火交點…點些 3 求心安吧… 不過我很少先點 3 就是了…

第一招主要就追殺用, 或是被壓很大, 買點回魔, 看對面小兵血量丟對面英雄, 嚇嚇他, 順便賺點小兵錢, 另外就是, 可以多靠邊邊走, 危險就往旁邊的樹林躲進去 XD

第二招我習慣跟在第一招後面點高, 好殺人撿尾刀 lol

第三招其實我不太管他 XD

大絕基本上, 我會一直看小地圖, 有人交戰我就會看情形放, 所以玩這隻要多注意小地圖

2.裝備

起手我習慣 + + x2 , 如果覺得自己很會掉血, 可以把護身符改為 , 有砍樹刀尾刀會好撿很多, 小盾可以在野外商店買 兩個合成 , 有了以後, 可以減少很多傷害, 尤其對面是會偷摸你的遠程英雄時, 用處很大, 可以讓你多停留在線上, 接下來的中程目標是退魔刀 , 遠程目標是燃燒鎚 , 因為這兩把武器, 我們的分身都可以有效果, 下面是簡單說明幾種出裝順序 :

    case 1 :

        被壓, 壓很大, 那先出點 , 好合, 便宜, 又實用!! 不過我感覺出這個會延緩你成長的速度, 如果不是一直死, 建議還是龜一點, 慢慢偷存退魔刀

   case 2 :

        賺很大, 一直偷撿快死的英雄 XD 如果錢一不小心破了 2500 , 保守點當然還是出退魔, 不過我更建議乾脆就出燃燒鎚了吧 XD 燃燒鎚一出來賺錢殺人只有快而已

簡單來講就是上面兩種情形囉, 不過對面法系多的話, 可以考慮出巨盔 或魔抗披風 , 不過, 我還是建議龜點出神裝比較實在就是了, 其他裝備大概也都是自high用的了, 出了退魔+燃燒大概就gg了

很明顯是壓很大 XD 退魔 燃燒都買了, 其實這場尾刀沒撿到很多支, 不過從助攻數看得出來, 我基本上是會戰必到 XD 感覺助殺應該錢會比較多 (吧 XD

The Limp Noodle cart has relocated to the corner of 3rd and SW Ash, next to Rick’s Wild Seafood (they don’t have any vegan options, well, maybe the drinks)   and the Ninja Cart. The move came after a summer of traveling to serving festival patrons. The bright red box of a cart reads “Italian Pasta” and “The Limp Noodle” , with a cute dancing ravioli.

The menu is simple – meatball subs, spaghetti with marinara, spaghetti with meatballs, and ravioli, but only one vegan option - spaghetti with marinara. The cart is very clean inside, which must be easy since most the food is prepackaged. You won’t find fresh made pasta here. You will find quick lunch food for a great price. Every time I’ve eaten here I’ve never waited longer than 5 minutes. 5 minutes for $5.

The egg-free, packaged spaghetti (no other pasta shapes are offered) is cooked to order and coated with a simmering cart-made marinara. The noodles are not served al dente as I would have expected, but cooked perfectly through without being too hard or soft. They’ve got it down to the T here. I was surprised to find that even after a 5 minute walk back to the office the noodles were still not overcooked or mushy at that point, but still perfectly firm and tender. The sauce is medium in chunkiness and overall fairly mild with garlic undertones. The sheen of olive oil on the sauce was a bit unnerving but did help to transfer the great tomato taste to each of my taste buds. The Limp Noodle could take a page from Yarp?! and provide a shaker of nutritional yeast to add some flavor and attract some vegans.

The dish comes with a complementary piece of focaccia and a small side of olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. The bread is from the wonderful Pearl Street Bakery a few blocks away. Fortunately, the bread is vegan, and perfectly fluffy and firm with a sprinkling of herbs on top. The problem with the little container of mixed olive oil and vinegar is that it’s difficult to taste the vinegar. I shook up the container, opened the lid quickly and stuck my bread in only to be coated with olive oil before reaching the balsamic. While we all love the food that comes from our carts, there can be issues with the way it is served in various containers. I later found the best solution was to add a dollop of tomato sauce and shake it well.

If you’re looking for a quick and simple pasta lunch before heading to Voodoo Doughnut, spend 5 minutes and $5 for a Pastini type of meal (they use the same noodles as Pastini). Two facts set The Limp Noodle apart from other carts – it’s open late on the weekends (this is good for the club going crowd), and they take Visa and Master Card. Not being a big pasta fan I won’t make The Limp Noodle a staple cart in my lunch options, but I will put it in my top quick and cheap list.

Spaghetti with Marinara:

Tonight’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode of Landing At Point Rain was engaging on several levels. Firstly, because I did not post a response to the last episode, Senate Spy, I’d like to point out to all those people saying that Point Rain “makes up for the last one” that their conclusions are only slightly ridiculous. Senate Spy was something completely different that we, as an audience, have not seen in the Star Wars franchise; whereas when you boil down the latest episode, it’s just another Giant Battle ™. MOVING ON…

As I touched on earlier, Landing At Point Rain is a multilayered story. On the outside it’s a ground and air campaign against enemy forces on an epic scale. Another layer is seeing how the individual deals with the stress of war and in particular a battle. On the deepest level, it’s a study on the psyche of a survivor: Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ki-Adi-Mundi are returning to a place of slaughter of their Jedi brethren.

It’s interesting how each of them dealt with their emotions. Surprisingly, Obi-Wan seemed to be the most shaken of the group; particularly during his “last stand” moment in Act III. The other thing I noticed were the various characters’ coping mechanisms: Obi-Wan tends toward the witty banter, while Anakin and Ahsoka, on the surface, turn warfare into a competition. Anakin also becomes absolutely ruthless on the battlefield. Comparatively speaking, his fighting style is much more aggressive than any of his peerage. When faced with the knowledge of Obi-Wan’s crash and subsequent radio silence, he becomes intensely focused on the mission in order to maintain a modicum of calm. (How uncharacteristic…) Ahsoka, on the other hand, seems more conservative in this situation. (Keen viewers will notice her use of a “non-reverse grip” on her lightsaber towards the beginning of the episode, but as the stress of the battle reaches her, she reverts into older habits and the “reverse-grip” reappears.) In addition to the competitive streak and her fighting styles, Ahsoka’s sarcasm comes back in full force. Regarding Obi-Wan’s desperation in this episode, I have a theory: Over the past 10 years Anakin has been his coping mechanism. He could always revert into teacher mode when they were a Master/Padawan team. Obi-Wan no longer has that luxury in this situation. All he has left is sighing and beard stroking. Ki-Adi-Mundi and his 17 brains seem to be just fine.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is the first time, excluding the abominable snowmen, that we have seen the Jedi and clone forces fighting and destroying an army of flesh and blood, or rather exoskeleton and goo, enemies? I think it is. That, in itself, raises the stakes to a level we have not yet seen. It’s not just a pile of metal bodies at the end of the day anymore. These are living creatures. That said, the Genosians were terribly menacing to me. Their noises and aggravated clicking were actually causing me stress. I wonder if that’s the multi-talented DBB providing the sounds… Though I can’t tell y’all how bad I wanted one of the Flamethrower! Clones to say, “Did someone call the exterminator?” in a really gravelly Clint Eastwood voice.

OMG, now it’s time for my LIST! Don’t you just love them?

The Good:

• The Animation: I know I say this every time, but these guys just keep on getting better and better. I have never seen anything like this on an animated series. Lucasfilm Animation is setting the bar on all future projects for themselves and the industry itself.
• Realistic Smoke and, um, Dirt Chunks
• Hello, Waxer & Boil! Long time, no battle.
• Blood! Blood! Blood! Seeing Obi-Wan looking legitimately injured took this episode to a whole other level.
• Excellent use of the Force. I enjoyed seeing the concentrated efforts of Anakin and Ahsoka. These are realistic Force properties.
• Fire: My inner pyromaniac got all excited.
• Yularen is more bitchtastic every episode and I love it.
• The final assault was something completely new. I don’t think we’ve ever seen something like that on TCW. The only way I can describe it is a “moving mural”.
• Ki-Adi-Mundi owned them all. He was so adorkable, he genuinely thought he was going to get some candy or a nice gift card to the local space Applebees at the end.

The Fugly:

• Whose assault plan was this? Can someone with stratergery explain it to me using small words and perhaps a diagram?
• I am normally a fan of Kevin Kiner’s scoring decisions. This may be the first time where the music did not enhance the show for me.
• Pacing: This episode wore me out. I enjoy some downtime in an episode and there was NONE of that here. All I need is a good thirty seconds to a minute of respite, but the pace of Landing At Point Rain was absolutely relentless. (Though, I have a feeling this was intentional.)

Comecei meu curso de Sistemas de Informação, na Faculdade, sem saber direito em que estava me metendo. Hoje porém, já estou melhor nivelado sobre a abrangência de conhecimentos a que serei submetido, nos anos que estão por vir.
