Seoul was not just any dream. To some it would be so trivial. But I had it when I was a child (as in like 16 which is still in that category right). And well, call it a childish want realized. I really don’t care. I was just happy when I was there. That is all that matters..

Ah biarin deh emo dikit. Biarpun surrounded by unrequited love, gue tetep optimis that there’s one spark of light for everyone that can outshine those fake flickering whatever (including me! xp).

I guess it’s half timing, and the other half is luck.

so i really had a fun time with clyde and perla today..Clyde had invite tickets to “Jack and the Beanstalk”
however, since there was an incident in Greenbelt 5 today (gun shooting or something), the show was cancelled. So we ended up eating at World Chicken (yummy) and watching Julie and Julia – superb movie! So in short, the day was stupendously great!

sigh..which made me think..and blog..

if i try to go back to the days when our friendship started..i couldn’t anymore..i guess it has been forever. it is amazing how even when we are living different lives now, and don’t get to meet so often, we can still laugh crazy, like the the old days. I am happy by this solid and unchangeable, capstoned –forever holds true fact of friendship that we have. So anyways, because they made me so happy today, let me introduce two of the closest friends i’ve had in this world:

Clyde – Everytime we meet, first thing she will ask me is: Onts, do you have a boyfriend already?” Uh-huh.she will never miss that one important question.

clyde was (and is), the whiz one. She ate Math for lunch and English writing for dinner. To top it all, she was the “Gwapa” of the batch (will post pics later). Currently she is encouraging me to enter into the real estate business -(which is exactly the same after-effect as I had after reading Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad Poor Dad)”. Clyde is extremely a breather to be with. She amuses us with all her stories. Currently she is teaching English (and religion, take note) in Rose Paref. And her pupil’s (a bout 8 yrs old ) questions go like these:
1. Will we look like our age when we go to heaven? (she says she doesn’t know)
2. Will we understand God when we are already in heaven? (She says we don’t know, only God knows)
3. Rabbies? Teacher isn’t it pronounced as Rabbies as in reybies? (Okay, so she stood corrected)
4. Who made hell? (Was quick enough to text her theologian friend and said: hell is not a place, it is a state..of pain, of grief, of endless suffering)

It’s a relief to know that no matter how smart she is (she just passed the entrance exam to a university in Europe) ..she still doesn’t know some things..haha.

Perla – she is someone who have evolved a lot. From the very quiet nicey one, to the talkative a bit more independent and liberated one. With her around, Clyde and I will be forever guided in Manila. Haha. She handles and carries herself very well now. Clyde and Perla have always been best friends..and they used to be the same size (no offense). But amazingly, Clyde got so tall (blame it on cherifer, i guess). So Perla is also very smart and talented in writing (well us–what can you say, same feathers belong to the same birds, haha). I remember we once interviewed our Principal, Sr. Marietta in high school for our feature story..wow..
Perla really used to be the reserved type..now Clyde and I envy her –she was the first among us to have a boyfriend (haha). Our constant pushing to her of this fact annoys her to the max..

so she’s only left with one thing to say to us: “It will come at the right time”

uh-huh..Perla will say that with conviction..and Clyde will smile..

and I’ll just roll my eyes and laugh.

I am so blessed..

Watched Funny People last night. In my opinion, 2 put of 5 popcorns.
It’s not what I expected out of an Adam Sandler film. No climax. Jokes were pretty alright, not the type where you will laugh out loud. Watch it if you have watched all the other films at the cinema.

Kai and I went to eat claypot rice at the old Big Splash East Coast Park. It was so expensive. $50 odd for two person. Totally not worth it. I was deceived by the TV programme. Poor kai have to follow me to the restaurant to try it and pay for the experience. Haha! I would say the environment and decor is pretty good. But the claypot rice totally taste average. I personally feel Chinatown claypot rice taste better (:

Kai introduced Old Town cafe coffee to me after the meal. It taste good. When you’re so bored with starbucks, try some traditional coffee.

After coffee, we went to the beach. The sea breeze was awesome. We found this bench near the sea and under a tree. The silhouette of the leaves is gorgeous. Everything was perfect, except the day. Both of us have to work the next day so we didn’t stay long though we really want to. (: (: (:

Im hooked onto kang xi show too. Recently I’ve download this taiwan variety show application onto my i touch. It allows me to stream episodes of more than 10 variety shows on my i touch. Awesome!
