Back with *finally* an on-time post! ^^; More figure reviews! This time with photos of the recently-released Nitro+ Chiral One Coin Figures by Kotobukiya. Featuring characters from BL games Togainu no Chi, Lamento, and Sweet Pool!

(was planning on making another photoshoot soon, but the figures I have ordered keep getting delayed…)

Ok, onto the review-thingy!

Here’s the artwork on the front of the box. So so so cute and well-done!

Fun little backgrounds on the bottom of the box.

Each box comes with a total of 10 figures. They may be randomized, however mine were not, probably because it was from the first run(?). I think most of the boxes sold after the first some are actually randomized…

Okay enough talk, let’s take this one! I choose you!!

Front of the mini-box that contains a cutie! I wonder who is inside it…

Almost forgot, the sides of the mini-boxes show the total types. Plus a “mystery” figure! OooOooOo

Alright! First one up is Military Shiki. Each figure comes well packaged along with a collectable card.

And here he is! (Please excuse my dusty desk ^^; ) Shiki is the only one that isn’t attached to the base and his chair. So he falls easily if moved. Be careful with him!

Pajama Akira! There’s a more rare striped-shirt version of him, but they’re both super cute! His shirt is removable.

This is the secret figure! Yukihito from Togainu no Chi: True Blood. He’s my favorite out of this bunch!

Zenya Okinaga. Notice how each figure has a different base that is relative to their character!

Makoto Mita. It’s hard to tell here, but his base has sodas and snacks on it.

Tetsuo Shironuma…My favorite character in Sweet Pool after playing the game! That’s an umbrella he’s holding. From the scene with him and Youji walking back to Youji’s place in the rain ^^

And of course, Youji Sakiyama! So cute~

Crazy-detailed Sorcerer/Boiyo. You can just tell that Kotobukiya put a lot of love and hard work into these guys!

Alright, now I couldn’t've forgotten about taking photos of the backs. There’s still a ton of detail here too ^^

And here’s all of the collectable cards together. Most of them say something on the back, like a quote and such. The Sweet Pool cards have the character’s height, weight, and birthday(and something else I can’t make out since I can’t read it ^^; )

And that concludes it! These adorable boys are wonderful for fans of the games. They are pretty small but really really detailed. Hopefully Kotobukiya is considering making some scale Sweet Pool figures

Next post shall consist of more art–it’s been awhile since I’ve posted sketches. ^^; Anyways, am looking forward to Thanksgiving break. Delicious turkey lunch ahooooy! Everyone have a good week!

Since a lot of people seemed interested on how to achieve playing Sweet Pool, I want to delve out some comments.

I can’t speak or understand Japanese either so it’s ok, fans worldwide. There are tools called Atlas. This device translates Japanese for you. Then there’s AGTH which copies the text out of the game so you can translate it. Be warned that translators are very slacky and you, like me, might be highly confused on what’s going on. There are rumors of some English patch out there, as I understand, but I don’t really think Nitro+Chiral has enough of a fanbase that some fan’s going to take the time to write a complex translated system for a game that’s not even well-known as of yet. Regardless…

Here is a lovely page that teaches you how to work AGTH and Atlas as well as the computer changes in your computer that need to be made in order to play the game efficiently. Click here.

I would also leave a guide to how to get to all the possible endings in Sweet Pool but that would be spoilers and I’m sure smart kids can find it on the web pretty easily (hint: it’s called “Google“)

It’s from the BL game, Sweet Pool from one of my fav game developer, Nitro+Chiral (they developed Togainu No Chi and Lamento)

The art work this time is different from TnC or Lamento (a change in artist) but they still managed to retain the clean and eyecatching style of Nitro+Chiral.

Of course, Nitro+Chiral is also famous for their dark and deep (somehow sadistic) story style.

The songs this time, there is also some tracks done by Itou Kanako as well as Watanabe K…. Opps… I somehow forgot his name. =-=”

Anyways, they also sang for TnC and Lamento’s soundtrack previously.

I like song by Itou Kanako.

Not bad, most of them.

However for Watanabe’s one, I think I prefer the songs he did for Nitro+Chiral’s game.

My latest addiction would be “Miracles May”.

There is two version to this song.

One by IK and one by WK.

The instrumental version, the violin version is very beautiful as well. =P

The song gave me a very relaxed feeling.

Kinda suit the game because it is titled Sweet Pool.

It makes you feel like laying down somewhere and floating around softly and calmly….

Anyways, if you are not interesting in BL stuff, don’t go searching for it (if you want to try the songs, you can ask from me since the songs is nice. Honestly).

I check out kotobukiya the other day on One Coin Figurines Collection and i was totally blown away and i guess the damage to my wallet this time will be fatal since i think it is a must have for all fan xD the adorable level of the figures is …. i cannot put it in words xD !~

There are only 4 sweet pool’s But i am just happy that there is xD . I am loving all these chibi although fatal damage to the wallet but there is still time to save up money for it cause it will be release in November. Who will the secret be ? i am looking forward to it ~ the fatal damage will be that i have to buy one more extra one even if i buy the set, because special akira is not included in all sets. Will have to use yahoo auction to get one , T,T .

These lovellies will be available soon but now there are still on the pre order list . I am looking forward to the secret too !~ And there is another spexial set that will be coming out which is the second set in black and blue color which is a collaboration of kotobukiya and asahi. And they are limited if i am not wrong .Oyakata sama is totally cute xD the first time i saw them i laugh the hell out xD . And Akechi is awsome too !~ but aya-tan voice is weird on Akechi haha. So overall i think it is also a must get for Basara fans xD @~

As many of you know, Nitro+Chiral released a new game “Sweet Pool” out probably half a year ago or something. Well, I got it when it came out but I never got the chance to work it out in English until today. Before, I just clicked the buttons and stared at the pretty art but now I actually know the story and it’s more than just intriguing. In fact, I have to say that Sweet Pool is one of the best games that I’ve played (it is also a BL game for you fujoshi out there).
