We’ve been here for 3 months now, having moved to what we call Kasidie Mansion Las Vegas. The city is fantastic, with it’s positive energy, phenomenal restaurants, endless attractions and non-stop partying. But the little known truth is that there aren’t non-stop swinger parties. There are the parties we’ve started hosting here at Kasidie Mansion. And there are weekly meet & greets hosted by PurrfectLV at the House of Blues Foundation Room (Mandalay Bay) that get a hot crowd. And that’s pretty much it, other than a few house parties and a handful of clubs with bad reputations as hangouts fo single guys, old folks, and hookers. We tried to get the best of the bunch, Couples Oasis, engaged and advertising (for free) their parties on Kasidie but they seem to have trouble doing anything and last we heard are trying to sell out.

We’ve asked around, and many people say the lack of a community is due to oppressive law enforcement and the transient nature of the population.

To the latter I call bullshit. This is a city of 2 million people. Only a handful are transient and even less work in hospitality that requires their nights and weekends. Most are regular folks working 9 to 5 and building their lives here.

The former seems to be somewhat true. For a place that calls itself “Sin City” it is decidedly not. There are a few topless pools, most of which charge exorbitant fees to enter. But lifestyle clubs are frowned upon and harassed. Heck, at the Fetish Ball here a couple of weeks ago the city required pasties on girls even if they wore sheer tops. Compare that to San Francisco where people were nude and some of the stage performers were having sex. Why is Las Vegas so prude? No answer to that.

So the swinger scene flounders here. There are some amazing parties and even hotel takeovers hosted by various lifestyle clubs throughout the year. But other than that, there isn’t anything that we personally want to go to other than the PurrfectLV meet ups.

To us, this is just unacceptable. We aren’t party promoters, and don’t want to be, but in the absence of any we’ve decided to jump into the void. And as people such as HeavenLasVegas and others raise their hands to start hosting swinger parties we will gladly stand aside and let people use our home. But we do need to operate within the laws of the city (which, we understand, means no selling alcohol…and that’s okay).

We had a couple of pool parties, which were a blast. And we’ll start those up again in the spring as the weather heats up.

Nicoleta has started a Las Vegas chapter of Girls Uncorked, and that’s growing nicely. She had 11 girls at the last one, and we will have up to 100 people at the couples swinging holiday party in December.

And we’re going to host a New Years Eve party.

After that, we’ll probably start hosting house parties a couple of times a month.

En kille ur ett par kan så gott som aldrig (såvida man inte känner varandra innan) komma till en tjej i ett annat par och bjuda upp till sex eftersom han då överger sin egna tjej. Och görs inte detta blir det bara parsex i samma rum. Festen uppnår aldrig ett flöde.

Killens roll är mer stödjande till tjejen, som jag ser det. Han hakar på när tjejen börjar hångla med en annan tjej. Eller om man som singelkille gör invit till ett hånglande par så märker man mycket snart om tjejen tycker det är okej eller inte. Tjejens kille säger ytterst sällan nej.

Är det däremot en extra tjej kan det ibland uppstå mer hotfullhet i konstellationen. Hon kan aldrig bjuda upp killen utan måste gå via tjejen först, be om lov helt enkelt. Såvida hon inte bara är ute efter tjejsex, men det är sällan extratjejer på partyn bara vill ha det, de vill ha både och.

Alltså, konklusionen blir att det är tjejerna som bestämmer vare sig det är en man eller kvinna som tar kontakt med paret för att invitera till sex.

Men icke att förglömma: det viktigaste i swingersammanhang är som alltid kommunikation, inte bara med talet utan framför allt med sitt kroppsspråk!

Sooner or later everyone we meet as potential playmates, or our vanilla friends that find out we are swingers, ask the question, how did you end up in the lifestyle.

By far it was not an over night decision, in fact it came about over several years.

Jon, my husband, would sometimes tell me that he’d love to watch me with someone else, that it would be like having his own porn star.  Sometimes during sex the conversation would turn to that topic and he’d share that fantasy of me with another man or, especially, a woman.  It was something that he thought would be very hot to watch.  For a very long time I fed the fantasy verbally but finally one night I said “ok, but where do we find other warm bodies for such a thing? It isn’t like you can just ask one of your friends if they’d like to do your wife.”  Oh how wrong I was! He did in fact ask a friend and the friend very much wanted to do just that!

So, one evening we found ourselves in the hot tub with his friend, and one thing led to another and we had a little male/female/male encounter.  Now for those wondering, Jon is straight, this was all about me in the middle of all the attention from two men.  My biggest fear was Jon becoming jealous but not only did he not get jealous, he thoroughly enjoyed watching and participating. We both enjoyed the experience very much, we couldn’t wait to try more.

From there we googled ’swinger’ and ‘wife swap’ and discovered there are many sites devoted to swingers hooking up, swinger personals sites, like dating sites for the lifestyle.  We poured over many profiles before writing our own, completely new to the whole concept.  From there the fun began.

We met many couples but had a hard time finding couples that Jon was attracted to the lady on a physical level and at the same time I found the man sexually appealing.  Usually one of us was on and the other not so much.  On two occasions that we met what we believed were compatible couples, I ended up taking one for the team, so to speak.  I just was not all that into either of these men. However, the one couple did help fulfill a fantasy of Jon’s.  We met them at a club (our first time in a swingers club) and ended up in a room with them. It was Jon’s birthday and what a surprise he got! I got daring and had my first girl on girl experience and discovered there might just be a side of me that needed exploring. Jon was in heaven.

It is important for the reader to understand, sex and love are not the same thing. You can have sex without making love to another person. Jon and I are very much in love with each other, more now than ever. But you only get that first time rush of adrenaline once when it comes to sex with someone.  The beauty of swinging is that you get to have and keep the love of your life but still experience that rush of first time with someone you find very attractive sexually.  Believe me, our marriage has only gotten better all around.  Many think the lifestyle breeds divorce, nothing could be further from the truth.  There is a saying in the lifestyle, it will make a good marriage better and a bad marriage end sooner.  That is so true. It does take a committed, love strong relationship to enter this lifestyle.  A marriage in trouble is headed for a quicker divorce in the lifestyle, it is not a way to fix things wrong in your relationship.  Especially a lack of sex.  There is far less of that going on than outsiders would think!

Our experiences have grown to include various clubs, house parties, bar meet and greets and other swinger sites.  Over time we’ve not hooked up as much as we initially assumed we would, since while we are not overly picky we just don’t often meet couples where we get that 4-way attraction.  At first we were rigid in our guidelines, had to be full swap with another couple, no other way.  But over time we’ve evolved and we will play with half of 2 couples, a man from one and a lady from another, or singles or a combination of the two.  This tends to work out far better for us as it opens up many more potential playmate opportunities.

We’ve learned a lot along the way.  We found that some groups on the various sites had standards for their members, like only those that were super attractive and fit, or only those into interracial play, or only couples into larger women could join.  Because of the restricted nature of many,  we decided to start our own group, The Naughty Neighborhood.  EVERY swinger, any shape, color, marital status, Ken and Barbie or just plain Jack and Jane, are welcome in our group.  We host a few parties a year either in swinger clubs or we get a bar to close the public for the night so we can have a swingers only meet and greet.  Our goal is to bring together as many swingers as possible, increasing everyone’s chances of finding potential fun for the evening.
