I was feeling Sci-Fi last night so I came up with this drawing. A little bit swirly solar flare a little bit planetary rotation. Regardless of my mood or intent, I like the end result.

Here is a photo of a twisted stump (or what was left of one) while I was on a hike the other day. I love the twisted bark and texture of the object. Nature can sometimes produce (OK, most of the time) some amazing objects of beauty and wonder. All you have to do is stop and take notice.

I have been reading a lot of fantasy books involving dragons, ancient powers, magic, wisdom, Vikings, and Rangers. These books inspired me to create this Swirl Dragon wooden shield. The Swirl Dragon is wise and powerful and brings power and protection to the bearer.

The wind in the Colorado foothills has been crazy lately. This inspired me to do this quick drawing and story.

Old Man Winter took a break and allowed his cousin Breezy to take over for a while. However, Breezy got carried away and turned breezy into gusty.

Always inspire by my art supplies. Pens, pencils, paint, ink, watercolors, acrylic, chalk, oil pastels, paper, brushes, erasers, etc. Always an inspiration just picking up a pen and letting the ink flow on the page.
