Nappy Boy is the label of T-Pain and an inmprint of Konvict Muzik / Jive. The roster contains Tay Dizm and the group Sophia Fresh. The label focuses on digital distribution chanels – they will release music mainly via iTunes and other platforms.

Their newest release is a remix of the single Forever, actually performed by Drake, Eminem, Kanye West and Lil Wayne.

I am a fan of Ellen Degeneres.  As I was looking through my YouTube favourites, I came across this.

I don’t care if you don’t like rap, or T-Pain, or Ellen, it’s hilarious and I think you should watch it.  But really, I can understand if you don’t like rap or T-Pain, but how can you not like Ellen?

The master of auto-tune is back with another auto-tune R&B mucky bounce of a track. T-Pain has many a hater and I’m sorry to say I’m one of them.  His stupid manner of singing about girls and sex witticisms is getting on my fucking nerves. Freeze was ok (bearable if you are a sleep and the songs on mute). So just leave our eardrums alone you bloody cochlea bursting auto-tune moron… as the for the song itself ….. its actually ok!

You know Ace Hood, also known as Antoine McColister, from all the Dj Khaled albums and mixtapes. He is also signed on Khaled’s We The Best label.

He released an album, called Gutta, in 2008. The released singles included Cash Flow featuring T-Pain and Rick Ross and Ride featuring Trey Songz.

In June 30th 2009 he released his second album, titled Ruthless on Def Jam. The albums first single was Overtime, which was produced by The Runners and featured Akon and T-Pain. The albums second single was Loco Wit The Cake. The albums guest lists includes Rick Ross, Ludacris, The-Dream, Jazmine Sullivan, Birdman and Lloyd.

Ace Hood – You Aint Know

Timbaland is back with another big record from his upcoming album, Shock Value 2. “Morning after Darkness” has that heavy Timbo production sound and sounds like the upcoming club banger. The hiphop producer/rapper teamed up with SoShy, who also appears in the video, and Nelly Furtado, and seemed to have gone T-Pain as well by using auto-tune. The official 7min video seemed to have the vampire theme, which reminded me of Twilight. Timbo plays a vampire in the video, but perfomance isn’t that convincing, he just does his usual facial expressions which i find more funny than scary. Overall, this record is big and watch out for the album Shock Value 2 coming out December 8th.

“Keep on trying to get in my back door, and you gon’ get knocked out!” I hissed as I took control of Darnel’s manhood to drive it to the right spot.

“UUUUmmm, that’s it right there baby. Damn, you wasn’t lying about having something else for a sister, huh?” I complimented while secretly trying to adjust my bearings, hoping to leave enough room at the top of the headboard; he ain’t gone knock me unconscious.

“Naw baby, I told you brotha was a little nervous the first time at the office, so my man was holding back a lil’ bit. I’m sure you will feel every measure I’m going to make so that kitty purrs.”

“Stop talking and get to work, that’s what I want you to do, work this on out!” I purred in my sex kitten voice while licking my thick, plump, envy evoking glossed out lips.

Oh – my – damn! The way he stirs my insides makes every part of my body crave that same touch, constantly. I have never had the desire to finish so early in the game, but it’s about to be over in the first quarter. All I could see was the ceiling one moment and the next moment I was face-deep moaning love songs to my pillow. The way this was going, I was going to have to fit Darnel in like my meals; breakfast lunch and dinner.

Back to the lab as the mad scientist would say! LOL! I noticed that the staffing was light today. Maybe folks were out on assignment or all decided to come in when they wanted to. Our boss, Marcus, allows us flex time here and there, as long as our assignments are complete. I keep telling myself to stay focused, be professional, and never f*&% at work again! As I take seat in my office chair, I sit back to wonder what the letter on the desk would reveal.

“Dana,

I have received many calls about your article on T-Pain. Now don’t worry, nothing is wrong, but the editors from VIBE, The Source and even Ebony have contacted my office inquiring about you. We should get together for drinks… late evening… to discuss your future! Let me know when you will have time to discuss your future. You control your destiny!

After reading that bull**** of a letter, most of my day was spent working fiercely. Before I knew it I cranked out over seven stories. I write well when I’m pissed! As I recline back into my chair, I notice Danielle, the office manager walking past my door. Now on tha real…that female right there is the fire. I mean fire, like Halle Berry mixed with the lead chick from the Pussy Cat Doll’s. The b**** was fierce. I thought my body was bangin’ and dangerous like a wet day at the racetrack, but her’s and mine…could be a tie. Instead of sweat, sexiness leaked from her glistening pores. I mean she was the type of woman that I wouldn’t mind tasting. Like many men say, “If I had my chance with Halle, we f******!” Well, that’s how I would react at a chance with Danielle. I have always been on the blue team, only because I’ve never seen a woman as fierce. The urges, along with the curiosities came and went like the spring to summer winds. Well… next thing I knew, she was at my office door; she must have heard my thoughts.

“Hey mami, you feeling okay?”

“Yeah, just trying to finish up work, so I can jet. Where is everyone at?” I asked while eyeballing the hell out of her. Kind of like how Marcus did to me, but with much more swagger and class.

“Out on assignment in New York City. Diddy couldn’t come to us, so they went to him. Diddy is big, so we have to cater! Marcus’ old punk a## went to go kiss a##.” She stated as she placed a hot latte on my desk.

“Good, he will be gone for a while!” I said while slowly placing my full lips on the cup while keeping eye contact with this ultra fine Diva.

“Look, let’s cut the s*** Dana. I’m very aware of what team you have been playing for, but I know who you want to substitute for too! I never went for the s*** Marcus tried to throw at me. He’s too weak. I don’t like ni**as like that! It’s been a long time since a nice taste like you has come along.” Danielle stated as she positioned herself on her knees right in front of my chair.

“I’m feeling you, so the desire to taste you is bad like a mutha! I know you’re sexin’ that ni**a Darnel, but it’s all good. Trust me…I know!” She grinned, “However, something tells me that one taste of you and one taste of me will scratch that ni**a off like a losing scratch off ticket! Let me do it for you, Mami. Let me make sure you get out of here on top…in more than one way, that is! All without having to f*** that dog Marcus.”

I sat up and leaned right into her mouth without one moment of reservation. Dang, our tongues may as well have been on fire, because I was warming up! No one here but us, she knew exactly how to do what she wanted to do! I leaned back into the chair and told her to ‘make it do what it do.’ She coyly smiled. Next thing I knew…I was sliding right down into her lotus grip. The girl’s tongue had my p**rl tight and swollen in what one could say was her signature tongue lasso! With each loop she made, my eyes looped right in sync. Her skills were very intoxicating.

Before we knew it…the number sixty nine, was our favorite. This s*** here, erased what Darnel and I had recently done. Afterwards, we cleaned up, gathered our s*** and exchanged numbers. We couldn’t resist the urges to kiss in between. We decided to use different pal names so no one would be up on our game. We knew this wasn’t our last feast!

On the drive home, looking into the rearview mirror, many emotions run through my body. I don’t know what I got myself into, but at this moment… I – don’t – give – a – darn! I guess being focused, professional, and not f****** on the job, is out of comprehension and out of sight. I just hope she lives up to her word. Now… how do I go back to Darnel after f****** with Danielle? Something tells me that by the end of this internship… I’m going to have to sell my soul, to get out alive. Darn, this life as an InBox intern is starting to get crazy!

Since there weren’t any choices, it goes to Michael. It goes to him not because he was the best this year but because he died this year, let’s keep it real. This music industry is so politically inclined they couldn’t just say we are giving MJ the accolades we haven’t given out of guilt…maybe if more of us were supportive and loving toward one of the greatest to ever do it then maybe the people closer to him would have done more to protect and take care of him.

Looking forward to seeing who actually wins! Maybe the industry can take notes from the AMAs by giving awards based on sales and not politics since sales mean PEOPLE chose the winners! *Pardon me Grammys* but the voters are not necessarily in tune with the music…I’ll get on their case in another blog coming soon!

The new one from T-Pain is out! ‘Take your shirt off’ which T-Pain revealed at his concert last month was a massive hit with the crowd and has now hit the charts and the hearts of many. Taking a grab at Jay-Z (who is constantly dissin T-Pain for using auto-tune) T-Pain fights back in this song lyrically. Whether you love it or hate it you cannot deny T-Pain is king of auto-tune (unlike KanYe West). No doubt this will be huge on a public level in coming weeks along with his new album RevoleR due out in early 2010

What is an auto-tune?

From Wikipedia: Auto-Tune is a proprietary audio processor created by Antares Audio Technologies. Auto-Tune uses a phase vocoder to correct pitch in vocal and instrumental performances. It is used to disguise off-key inaccuracies and mistakes, and has allowed singers to perform perfectly tuned vocal tracks without the need of singing in tune.

Basically, if you have ever heard a T-Pain or Kanye West song, you know what an auto-tune is. Well… they have made the auto-tune even better. For reals.

You HAVE to know the Charlie Bit Me video by now. This is 100 times better. Seriously. I honestly think I’ve watched this video about 12 times in a row now. It’s only :28 long. And each second is totally worth it. Enjoy.

Disculpen las molestias por la tardanza en comenzar a publicar en este blog. El porqué viene justificado por la iniciativa que tomó el Gobierno español, más concretamente el Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia (MEC), en conceder 25000 becas destinadas a realizar cursos de inglés en el extranjero durante 2009. Me concedieron una de tantas y no podía desaprovechar la oportunidad. Y escogí Miami como destino de mi periplo. Ni más ni menos. La ciudad de magníficos paisajes tropicales, de cálidos colores y con una increíble luminosidad. La metrópoli cuyo estilo exclusivo ha hecho que se convierta en un lugar ideal para el rodaje de largometrajes. La extraordinaria ciudad de Miami ha sido la escenografía de películas y series de televisión inolvidables.  Sin más, invito al imaginario colectivo a sospechar cómo ha transcurrido mi travesía estadounidense.

Para empezar, y aprovechando que muchas de personalidades de la farándula internacional tienen su casa (incluso su propia isla aquí), os dejo aquí unas fotografías que logré en exclusiva del cantante Tramar Dillard, más conocido como Flo Rida. El rapero afroamericano, aunque no se ha dejado ver mucho desde que sacó a la luz el single Low junto a T-Pain (para la banda sonora del film Street Dance, 2008), sigue desempeñando la labor de estrella del R&B. Hace unas semanas pude verlo en Miami inaugurando un local en el barrio de Downtown. Os dejo aquí el ‘making off’ del clip Sugar de Flo Rida rodado, precisamente, en Miami y en el que interviene y colabora la cantante de R&B Wynter Gordon.
