Por fin llega la 6ta temporada de Grey’s Anatomy con 2 capítulos de estreno, en donde sabremos si Izzie sobrevive al cáncer y George se salvará del accidente.

Aunque Grey’s Anatomy siempre se había caracterizado por ser una serie en la cual había pocos spoilers esta vez se supo desde hace mucho tiempo quien iba a ser el personaje que no tendría un final feliz.

¿En Qué nos Quedamos? “It’s George!” Meredith gritó cuando se da cuenta que el desfigurado John Doe era su compañero.  Al mismo tiempo Izzie se recupera de su pérdida de memoria… pero sólo para sufrir algo peor. Antes de que todo se pusiera negro vimos a George e Izzie con un paro cardíaco.

¿Qué Sigue?: La temporada empieza exactamente con la vida de los dos doctores en el limbo. Hay 3 cosas seguras:  Katherine Heigl ******, T.R. Knight **** y hay un funeral en el primer episodio.

“Good Mourning /  Goodbye”

Con la muerte de George, nadie puede decidir que hacer con sus órganos y su madre y le pide a alguien mas que tome la decisión. Una backpacker de Inglaterra entra al hospital con un brazo amputado después de un accidente en bote; un joven de 15 años también es admitido con dolores de crecimiento que le fue previamente diagnosticado.

Derek recibe una propuesta ta de la junta administrativa del hospital; y los compañeros de George buscan diferentes maneras lidiar con el duelo

Según la revista TV Guide, el set de Grey’s Anatomy se está transformando en un espacio familiar. Esto dado a todos los bebes que nacieron y los que naceran.

Los productores han acomodado el set en una guarderia/sala cuna para Stella, la bebe de 6 semanas de Ellen, Naleigh, la bebe de 10 meses de Katherine Heigl, Anniston, la bebe de 6 meses de Chyler Leigh y para el bebe que Eric Dane y Rebecca Gayheart están esperando.

Todos estos regalitos de seguro hacen un set feliz.

Luego de los pasados años, estoy segura que ealgo agradable de oir.

“Ellen esta amando su vida como madre y Katie recien ha vuelto al set con Naleigh, quien es absolutamente hermosa y muy querida,” informa la hermana de una de ellas en el programa, Chyler Leigh.

“Los bebes aun no se conocen, pero he oído charlas sobre una proxima sala cuna. Mientras tanto, nuestros trailers han sido convertidos en refugios para bebes. He estadom compartiendo mi experiencia”

Leigh, quién tiene tan solo 27 años, ya tiene 3 hijos con Nathan West, su más reciente es la pequeña Anniston, de 6 meses, a quién se le uniran 2 amigas bebes, que compartiran la misma guarderia, la pequeña Stella (Hija de Ellen Pompeo) y la pequeña Naleigh(Hija de Katherine Heigl). Además, meses después, se les unira otro amigo u amiga, sí, el primer hijo de Eric Dane (Mark Sloan).

Pero, ¿Habrá planes para llevar el ambiente de bebes del set al hospital Seattle Grace Mercy West? La creadora del programa, Shonda Rhimes nos decepciona diciendo: “No hacemos bebes en Grey’s Anatomy.”

Aww. ¿Eso significa que no habrá un McBaby? ¿Nunca?

“Yo asumo que Derek querrá ser padre en algun punto,” dice Rhimes, aclarando que Meredith, por otro lado, probablemente no este “interesada en bebes.” Bueno, habrá que darle tiempo, ¿No?

Mientras tanto, ¿Que hay sobre un mini-Calzona?

Jessica Capshaw, quién interpreta a la Dra. Arizona Robbins y madre en la vida real de Luke, de 2 años, dice: “En la investigación de mi personaje, encontré muchos doctores pediatras en la vida real que no quieren tener su hijo propio porque ven todos los dias las cosas horribles que les pueden pasar.”

Asi que, talvez no. No por ahora.

Ahora, lamentablemente podemos quitar al ex-miembro de Grey’s anatomy, T.R. Knight, quien quería tener un bebe, pero terminó con su novio Mark Cornelson, semanas antes de que el chico fuera capaz de celebrar sus 21 años. Pobre Mark…

When Parade first appeared on stage in 1999, it was a short-lived production, but one which managed to take home two Tony awards. It seems unlikely that this new rendition at Los Angeles’ Mark Taper Forum will do anything to soften the stark contrast between critical acclaim and uncertainty from the theater-going public; its subject matter remains divisive, certainly not what anyone seeking the feel good pleasure of a musical comedy should choose to see, and it’s difficult to be entirely certain just what it is the audience is meant to leave feeling, beyond extraordinarily unsettled.

Yet extraordinary is exactly what this production is. With its all-star cast, deft direction from Rob Ashford and the intimate setting the Taper provides, this new Parade is at once compelling and unnerving, in no small part because of T.R. Knight, making his return to theater with a bravura performance as Leo Frank.

With a book by Alfred Uhry and music and lyrics by the brilliant Jason Robert Brown, Parade tells the grim — and tragically true — tale of the 1913 trial of Leo Frank, a Brooklyn Jew in Atlanta, Georgia, accused of the rape and murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan, a worker in the pencil factory where Frank was superintendent.

While it’s still unknown who killed Mary, there is no doubt that the Frank trial remains one of the great miscarriages of justices of the twentieth century, and this is the story that Parade tells. Even as it portrays Leo as incontrovertibly innocent, it does so without pointing a finger at any more likely suspect (although it hints, as does history, that one of the strongest witnesses against Leo, Jim Conley, may have been the true murderer) and without fully condemning those who carried the two year trial to its final grisly end.

Perhaps it is this very ambiguity — the great heart of Parade which it allows its audience to accept and understand the actions of an emotionally overwrought mob — that undermines it, even as it makes it great. Few of the characters in this show are beyond redemption, but at the show’s very center, Leo Frank makes himself more than a little difficult to love. It’s necessary that we see Leo as history paints him, in order to comprehend how this might have come to pass, but for much of the first act, it’s easier to hope he is acquitted for the sake of his wife Lucille than for his own.

There is no denying, however, that though cold and brusque, Leo is a fascinating character and T.R. Knight does not disappoint in the role. Never once shying from the pride and short temper which contribute to the ill will harbored against Leo, Knight remains stiff and withdrawn for much of the show, which serves only to make numbers like “Come Up to My Office” and “This Is Not Over Yet” into showstoppers when he finally cuts loose. He has the kind of voice that seems absolutely made for this part and a strange knack for making the audience love and feel for Leo, even as Leo holds everyone in his life at arm’s length.

Equal credit should be given, however, to Lara Pulver in her performance as Lucille Frank. Having originated the role in the recent West End production, Miss Pulver has had time to polish the part to perfection and indeed quickly proves to be one of the most compelling things about the entire production. Her rendition of “You Don’t Know This Man” is movingly understated, replete with a quiet dignity one cannot help but respect.

Indeed, the cast is, with few exceptions, stunning. Michael Beresse is a powerhouse as both Britt Craig, the reporter covering the trial for the Atlanta Georgian, and Governor Slaton. There is nothing to rival his chemistry with Charlotte d’Amboise during the “Pretty Music” dance sequence between the governor and his wife, unless it’s the skill with which they tackle their steps. Miss d’Amboise is remarkable herself, although moreso as Mrs. Slaton, unfortunately, than as Mrs. Phagan, the dead girl’s mother, in which she is ever so slightly over-the-top. Christian Hoff is given the opportunity to shine as district attorney Hugh Dorsey in a new number entitled “Somethin’ Ain’t Right,” in which Dorsey all but outright states his intention to frame Frank for political gain.

It’s David St. Louis, however, as Jim Conley, who really steals the show, particularly during “Feel the Rain Fall,” his rich voice sending chills down one’s back for no discernible reason but the dark power of it, and newcomer Curt Hansen stands on the other side of the divide as Frankie Epps, his young voice innocent even as he calls for Frank’s blood. Rose Szeniak’s Mary Phagan is so charming, it seems a shame to see so little of her, although she has an added role this time, haunting the stage as a ghostly figure, an apparent representation of the Civil War South which should have been incredibly hokey and instead proved only to add to the atmosphere.

The show is very much served by the small size of the Mark Taper Forum, which makes it feel as if the audience is very much part of the action, something it can only be hoped the show’s producers will remember when they take it to New York. There are points at which this means it’s difficult to watch, so deeply engaged in the story are we  — the finale of act one and the lynching of Leo, which I was not expecting to see, in particular — but with a cast as strong as this one, for much of the show, it’s harder still to look away.

Los dos creen que pueden encontrar algo mejor; están equivocados

T.R. Knight, el actor de Greys Anatomy de 36 años, terminó su relacion de dos años con un tal Mark de 20. Sus amigos dicen que aunque sean gays y todas unas niñas las dos, no hubo drama en su rompimiento, que simplemente la relación acabó su ciclo y cada uno va a seguir su camino como amigos. El actor se mudará a NY para perseguir una carrera en Broadway, donde cree que porque es gay magicamente bailará, cantará o acturá en vivo como si realmente fuera talentoso. En verdad que están espantosos los dos, ojalá regresen porque se merecen. Y qué clase de nombre es T.R.?!

Tras largos meses de espera, finalmente llega a latinoamerica, via canal sony, la temporada 6 de Grey’s Anatomy.

¿Quién muere? ¿Quién vive? La gran incógnita que dejó el final de temporada pasado.

Todo eso y más podrán verlo el 9 de noviembre.

¡Bebes ! Bebes por todas partes. Debe haber algo en el agua del set de Grey’s Anatomy, porque ultimamente hay bebes por todo el lugar. El bebe de Chyler, de Katherine y más recientemente de Ellen. Y ahora, T.R. Knigh ha confesado a EllenDegeneres durante una entrevista, que él tambien quiere un bebe.

Dicho esto, sono como un reciente descubrimiento y no como algo planeado con meses de anticipación (como la adopción de Heigl). Él declaró durante la entrevista, “No sé si vaya a resultar, pero eso sería algo que me gustaría.”

Al decir esto, él admitió que ha querido hijos desde hace un rato, pero recientemente se inspiro por la pequeña Naleigh (Bebe de Katherine). “Ella es una bebe tan hermosa. Estoy muy feliz por ella y Josh.”

Así que, a pesar de que T.R. Knight no es parte del elenco de Grey’s Anatomy (Q.E.P.D George),  sería bueno[Según mi punto de vista] ver como le resultan las cosas. Quiza luego nos enteremos, en los proximos meses, que ha adoptado un bebe…

No sé si ustedes estan de acuerdo por esto, pero para mi no es problema que él siendo gay adopte.

Digo, el mejor que un niño tenga un lugar donde lo quieran y le den lo que necesita, en vez de estar toda su vida esperando ser adoptado…

September 24, 2009, was the 2-hour season premiere of “Grey’s Anatomy”. At the end of season 5, we found both Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) and George O’Malley (T.R. Knight) gripping to life and we finally find out what has happened to them.

**SPOILERS AHEAD**

This past summer it was announced that T.R. Knight was not going to return to “Grey’s Anatomy”, however Katherine Heigl did in fact sign on for another season. “Grey’s Anatomy” creator Shonda Rhimes had a story planned for Knight’s character which we unfortunately will not see. So if you have seen any commercial promos leading up to the premiere of “Grey’s Anatomy”, you would be able to infer that Izzie Stevens survives while George O’Malley doesn’t.

George O’Malley passes away, and it is an emotional story line but the way it was told made it a beautiful story that was touching, poignant, and uplifting. It really paid homage to the character of George O’Malley and how he has impacted the people around him. His death affects everyone differently and the two-hour premiere takes place over a 40 day timeline. Here are the episode highlights:

• Izzie survives and George passes, there is a brief moment where they were unsure that John Doe was George but it is indeed George.
• O’Malley’s mom comes and she doesn’t have the strength to see George then alone decide about whether or not to donate his organs. She asks Callie to decide because she says: “in God’s eyes, you are still his wife.”
• Callie cannot decide and she feels that Izzie should be the one to decide on what to do with George’s organs.
• The doctors run off the list of what they want to donate, and Izzie says that George would donate everything.
• When harvesting George’s organs, Dr. Bailey wanted every doctor receiving an organ state who it is for. This is quite an emotional scene.
• Derek gives Alex and Izzie the keys to his trailer because he feels they should have a place of their own as Meredith and Derek want their privacy too.
• Since Seattle Grace is not raising their hospital rating, the board is thinking of ousting Chief Webber and promoting Derek to Chief of Surgery. Derek says he has to think about it and he talks to the Chief and says that the Chief needs to come up with a plan.
• Callie asks if her application of becoming an attending doctor has been reviewed, and the Chief says that there is no place for her this year. Callie is upset and she says that they are going to regret not hiring her.
• Dr. Hunt and Cristina are in therapy together and the psychiatrist tells Cristina that Owen won’t get better unless he starts to talk about what happened to him during the war and/or what went on in his dream where he almost choked Cristina to death. They make progress when Owen reveals that in his dream he was trying to save his own life and that he wants to get better because he never wants to hurt her again.
• Mark Sloan moves into the same apartment complex as Callie and he lives right across the hall from her. Sloan wants Lexie to move in with him but she is hesitant.
• Callie gets a job at Mercy West hospital.
• Dr. Webber heads to a meeting with the board but while driving he runs a red light. He is taken to Mercy West and is treated by Callie. Webber takes an interest in Mercy West Hospital.
• Izzie still has cancer but she is getting better. However, Alex is afraid of doing something wrong around Izzie which would result in her dying. They talk it out though.
• Lexie and Callie have a boundaries talk after Callie goes and talks to Mark while he is in the shower. Callie assures her that Mark doesn’t see her (Callie) as he use to and that he is smitten with Lexie. Lexie ends up moving in with Mark after all.
• There’s a big board meeting held at Seattle Grace, rumors are flying that Dr. Webber might be leaving to go to Mercy West Hospital.
• Dr. Webber makes an announcement that Seattle Grace and Mercy West Hospital are merging. Some may lose their jobs, so everyone has to be at the top of their game.
• O’Malley’s locker is cleared out and Meredith sobs at the empty space, Derek comes in and comforts her.
• Everyone still can’t believe that George O’Malley is gone.

And goodbye to one of the hospital’s legends.

Last night’s two-part episode of Grey’s Anatomy was simultaneously one of the heaviest we’ve seen from the show practically since the death of Denny Duquette and uplifting, in a way it’s difficult to put my finger on. As the staff of Seattle Grace went through their grief — or stopped flat up against the wall of it, in the cases of some — I had the strangest sense that, in losing one of its most long-lived, well-loved characters, the show was finding its way back to its roots.

While it’s no longer the show it once was, last night that finally felt like a good thing — as if the interns, residents and attendings of Seattle Grace have begun to mature, tempered by loss. The episode had its faults, as any will (especially in a two-hour run), but for the most part, it was unexpectedly strong.

The episode picks up where we left off last season, with Izzie crashing and Meredith having just realized their John Doe is George O’Malley, who, let me say, has always been one of my favorites. Though the season ended on the supposed cliffhanger question of which would live and which would die, no one was really surprised when it was George who didn’t pull through. At least, no one who was watching. Though Lexie questioned whether or not it was George, Callie confirmed it and the hospital started to fall apart. “Good Mourning” and “Goodbye” encapsulated forty days of mourning and five stages of grief, from Meredith not being able to cry to Cristina making inappropriate quips to Callie going off on the Chief and transferring to Mercy West — all the different ways, spoken or silent, we deal with loss or don’t deal.

It’s really difficult to do an episode like this one without being heavy-handed, especially on a show like Grey’s which, once subtle(r), now suffers from a surfeit of metaphor. This was good, though. It felt a little hollow, but that worked for it, rather than against it. There’s this emptiness of it not quite feeling true that George is gone, because, well, he’ll be back later, right? But you see that on the screen, too — it’s not merely a difficulty of suspending disbelief, it’s the same trouble Izzie and Meredith and Alex and Cristina are suffering, caught between not believing he’s gone and knowing he is. Their scene at George’s funeral, where they break from the group to follow Izzie and all wind up laughing was at once awful and perfect. “George died,” exclaims Izzie, not even trying to hold back disbelieving laughter, “and I got cancer? What?” Yeah, Izzie, I’ve been asking the same questions.

It was an episode rife with reminders that, for all its narration and one-liners, Grey’s is so often at its best when no one says a word: Callie bent over George’s body, breaking down in sobs as she realizes it’s really him; Owen and Cristina reaching for each others’ hands as they stand in the emergency room doors; Alex and Meredith hunched against opposite doorways as Izzie cries over George’s body. There’s Amanda, curled up on her bench outside the hospital, unable to live with this guilt, and hell, even Steve the Intern crying for George’s death as he tries to take care of a patient. It’s the little moments, the glances, the touches, the silences, that make this show.

Let’s not discount the actual lines, though. Izzie finally won me back last night, pulling through this tragedy with as much grace as I’ve ever seen in her, knowing she’s had her heart broken by death before and lived, knowing she can survive. How utterly heartbreaking was it when she decided about George? “George would give everything. His skin, his eyes — he would give everything.” Her confrontation with Amanda (Shannon Lucio) was both inevitable and poignant, her reconciliation with Alex beautifully satisfying. They’re all growing up — Alex and Izzie, Meredith and Cristina. Even Lexie grew some balls last night, dealing with Clara, the patient abandoned by her backpacking crew after an accident left her severely injured.

I liked Meredith taking so long to feel it fully, that for once this woman who’s taken emotional hit after emotional hit and worn it on her sleeve immediately, has been struck by something so big she can’t wrap her heart around it until that last proof, that empty locker, comes. I love Justin Chambers and where he’s gone with Alex, I love Sandra Oh and the wild riot of emotion she brings to Cristina under the surface and the way Cristina is growing and changing and still her. And goddammit, I love Izzie again. I swear to god, I never thought I’d see the day. And let’s not discount how absolutely incredible — and necessary — Eric Dane’s Sloan was, the much-needed comic relief in a night that could easily have been too heavy otherwise. Certainly he provided a better distraction than the storyline of Arizona’s teen patient, which felt out of place in the greater arc of the episode. And when he asked what it was about George that had so many women falling in love with him, I laughed long and hard, because really, haven’t we all been wondering?

It was also really nice to see everyone calling Meredith and Derek on the fact that a post-it is not a wedding. I mean, I’m not the biggest fan of the idea of their getting married — which is, in itself, is a rant for another day — but if they’re going to, they should probably, you know, make it legal.

While I’m not ready to say it’s as good as ever — too many moments I called coming a mile away, like the Chief’s car accident — it was nice to be surprised by the show again. (I may literally have yelled, “Wait, what, MERCY WEST?” at the end there.) It was nice to feel I was being taken somewhere by these characters, to care about them again, and to see Amy Madigan again, because damn, do I love Dr. Wyatt. Already this season is full of potential and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

R: Si estas entre esos que se tomaron lo de la nota Post-it como una clase de mala broma, hay una escena en el funeral de George que deberia ponerles una sonrisa en sus caras.

El primer episodio de la sexta temporada es bastante oscuro, como ha sugerido el elenco y Shonda Rhimes ha dicho publicamente a lo largo de los meses previos a esta temporada que aun no comienza.

En la opinion de algunas personas, los productores ejecutivos del programa habrian tratado de minimizar el asunto de Grey’s Anatomy sin George, pero esto no funciono. Él fue muy especial.

Aúnque haya fans a los que no les gustaba George, en el Seattle Grace, a todos les agradaba.

El como fue querido es claramente la forma como reaccionaran por su muerte.

Mientras hayan algunos quienes necesiten el llorar y tener espacio, los fans deberian encontrar una o dos reacciones que cambiaran la vida de algunos.

En cortos terminos, el episodio completo es sobre George O’Malley.

Mientras tanto, la persona menos afectada por su muerte recibe su propia historia. Arizona Robbing intentará hacer el trabajo que le correspondia a Georgeestando y apoyando a los que la rodean y necesiten su ayuda.

Como se vio en una de las promos, tambien estará el hecho de que el Jefe y Derek estarian en charlas sobre la posición de jefe de cirugía – ‘en charlar’ puede ser un termino muy suave…

La platica entre la madre de George y uno de los cirujanos puede ser la parte más triste del episodio que en si es triste.

Como saben y ansian, Grey’s Anatomy vuelve a la pantalla con un evento de 2 horas, el 24 de septiembre (noviembre para latinoamerica, no se sabe que dia aún). Abajo esta la sinopsis oficial de la sexta temporada lanzada por ABC.

Tecnicamente, el evento esta listado como dos episodios separados, ambos escritos por Krista Vernoff y presentando a Jessica Capshaw como un miembro oficial del elenco por primera vez.

El primer episodio, ha sido titulado “Good Mourning,” y saldra a la vista a las 9 p.m.

En este capitulo el personal del hospital comienza a lidiar con las repercusiones de la muerte de George. Esto afecta mucho al personal, el cual encontrara maneras unicas para superar esa gran perdida.

La madre de George regresa, enfrentandose con la dificil tarea de decidir que hacer con sus organos.

El segundo episodio, ha sido titulado “Goodbye,” y sigue al capitulo anterior a las 10 p.m.

Al comenzar este episodio, el tiempo habra pasado. Todos en el Seattle Grace estaran luchando luego de laperdida de uno de ellos y buscaran cualquier distraccion que puedan encontrar.

Meredith y Derek consumaran su matrimonio en cualquier lugar y todo el tiempo, mientras que Cristina y Owen siguen las instrucciones de la Dra. Wyatt de abtenerse del sexo.

Los invitados para “Good Mourning” son Shannon Lucio como Amanda (La mujer responsable de la muerte de George…o si prefieren, la mujer a la que George salvo de la muerte), Debra Monk como la madre de George, Martha Plimpton como Pam, Mitch Pileggi como Larry, Zoe Boyle como Clara y Zack Shada como Andy.

Entre los invitados para “Goodbye” está incluida Amy Madigan como la Dra. Wyatt, Adam Lazarre White como la residente de oncologia, Lucio, Plimpton, Pileggi, Boyle y Shada.

“Good Mourning” fue escrito por Krista Vernoff y dirigido por Ed Ornelas.

“Goodbye” tambien fue escrito por Vernoff pero dirigido por Bill D’Elia.

ABC esta siendo particularmente siniestro con estas promos de Grey’s Anatomy. Quieren darnos algo sin darlo. Un segundo  de Izzie sin cabello. Un segundo de una escena en el cementerio. Como les conte ayer, Katherine Heigl se está tomando un descanso de Grey’s Anatomy para filmar una pelicula. Esa noticia sola fue suficiente para causar confusion entre los fans.

Pero lo que es shockeante, y lo que repercutira en la sexta temporada es, por qué Izzie será vaneada de multiples episodios?

La razon por la salida?

Según fuentes internas, esta temporada de Grey’s Anatomy es agotadoramente definida por la fusion del Seattle Grace y su ocasionalmente mencionado rival, el Mercy West.

Como ya se ha dicho, el Seattle Grace esta por integrar mas miembros a su equipo, trayendo nuevos doctores y pavimentando el camino para revolver las cosas un poco esta temporada.

Que signidica esta fusion para nuestros favoritos?

Bueno, la Dr. Izzie Stevens es despedida. Si, Despedida, en el sentido de DESPEDIDA. Izzie se cansa de la gran fusion y es baneada de varios episodios.

Esto además provee una cubierta por la salida de maternidad de Ellen.

Ella desaparecera hacia el fondo, mientras nuevos doctores, administradores y enfermeras llenaran los espacios dejados por los personajes regulares.

Los productores estan, a parte de todo, trabajando para mantener a Meredith Grey en la mayor cantidad de episodios posibles. Ellen esta aprovechando el tiempo que le queda para grabar escenas por su salida, grabando escenas para dos episodios de una.

La fusion de historias del Seattle Grace con el Mercy West es parte de un plan de largos terminos creado por los productores y ejecutivos de ABC para hacer de Grey’s Anatomy una serie viable por años.

Estan haciendolo al estilo ER -15 años o mas…

No importa que protagonista se embarace, o quiera irse o se encuentre poco disponible de horarios, los escritores quieren una historia larga, expandible, variados personajes y situaciones.

Asi que, si lo piensan, si Patrick Dempsey necesitara filmar una peicula (cosa que hará, mas tarde este año), un nuevo Seattle Grace le ofrecera espacio y horarios diferidos e historias.

Katherine Heigl se tomara un espacio de 5 episodios de Grey’s Anatomy para filmar Life As We Know It, pelicula de Greg Berlanti, informa EW.

Los productores de Grey’s Anatomy han acomodado el ocupado horario de Heigl antes, pero esta es la primera vez que le dan permiso para salir por un periodo extendido.

Y ya que su salida será vista por el hecho de que su personaje no aparecerá en 5 episodios, aún no estpa claro que escusa usarán para explicar la salida de Izzie. (Problema con Alex? un viaje para ver a su madre? Un paseo con Denny al caribe? )

El hecho que se le consediera tal salida es sorprendente, si es que recuerdan su queja de trabajar 17 horas al día, cosa que al presidernte de ABC Steve McPeson no le agrado mucho. Además la salida de Heigl -que comienza este mes y volverá en noviembre – va a chocar con la salida de maternidad de Ellen Pompeo.

Claro, la jefa de Grey’s Anatomy Shonda Rhimes, dijo anteriormente que esta clase de cambios estaría esta temporada al aire: “Eventualmente, todos van a dejar el programa” dijo, refiriendose a la salida de T.R. Knight y a la futura ausencia de Ellen Pompeo por maternidad.

“Asi que estamos buscando formas en las uqe podamos cambiar la estructura ahora. La 6 temporada es sobre encontrar la escencia del programa y sobre descubrir si es que hay un futuro más alla de los personajes.” (les suena tipo E.R? a mi si…)

Además, sin ser tanta coincidencia, Grey’s Anatomy recientemente anuncio que esta añadiendo 3 nuevos doctores al Seattle Grace: Nora Zehtner, Robert Baker, y Jesse Williams se unirán como residentes regulares.

Tambien sirve como recapitulacion de la temporada pasada, para los que aún no les es familiar.

Parece que los doctores del Seattle Grace siempre están luchando por algo, desde dificiles y novedosas cirugías a peleas por la vida de los pacientes.

Y lamentablemente no siempre ganan.

Luego de un rato, una dificil lucha, Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) y Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) han finalmente ganado la batalla por sus corazones, sellando su amor con votos escritor en, de todas las cosas, un post-it azul.

Una de las batallas que el  staff del Seattle Grace puede estar perdiendo es salvar las vidas de dos de los suyos, Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) y George O’Malley (T.R.Knight).

Y Alex Karev (Justin Chambers, en la foto), el nuevo esposo de Izzie, ha quedado aguantando el aliento hasta la premier de esta temporada, al igual que nosotros.

Mientras tanto …

• La Dra. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) esta luchando sus propias batallas. Se enfrenta a la realidad de perder a su esposo por su extrema dedicación a su carrera medica y la posible especialidad.
• Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) lucha por sus miedos a una relacion con su semi bipolar novio Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd), quién lucha sus cicatricez emocinales que trajo desde Irak.
• Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) lucha por el respecto de su familia por su nueva relación con Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) alejando que es el sano romance que necesita.
• Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) está tratando de superar su pasado y convertirse en un mejor hombre – con o sin Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh). Quizá Lexie es muy jovén para él, después de todo.
• Richard Webber (James Pickens, Jr.), El Jefe, lucha por mantener unido a su hospital y por encontrar una forma de perdonarse por los errores cometidos en su pasado.

Grey’s Anatomy puede ser tan compicado como cualquier neuro cirugía, con episodios que harán reir, te harán llorar y brindar por las victorias – Sean por el hecho de que un paciente se salvo o por ese beso que todos esperaban.

Como sabemos, despues del tragico accidente con el bus, uno de los doctores del Seattle Grace muere. La emocion del impacto será de gran alcance, y el shock de la noticia no desaparecerá rapidamente.

El funeral de George O’Malley en la premier rompecorazones de esta sexta temporada, retumbara por los pasillos del Seattle Grace hasta mucho despues de la muerte de George, segun TV Guide.

Casi todos estarán presentes -incluyendo a la fragil Izzie con su bufanda – para despedir a George en un servicio funerario organizado por su mamá, [no organiado por su ex-esposa, Callie]. Una fuente dice que Meredith lidiará con la muerte de George en una manera muy “Meredith”.

“Los doctores están procesando este enorme momento de pena,” Jessica Capshaw, cuyo personaje, la Dr. Arizona Robbins estará para apoyarlos y para atender a los pacientes, dice.

“Mi personaje ha perdido ha su hermano en el pasado, por lo que, estará ayudando a Callie con esta terrible perdida.”

Asi mismo, el Dr. Owen Hunt estará ayudando a Cristina durante este momento.

“Owen está tan acostumbrado a perder colegas que se ha convertido en una roca para ayudar a otras personas a lidiar con esto,” dice Kevin McKidd sobre su personaje veterano de Irak. “Cristina está en negación sobre lo que ha pasado, y él estará ahi para ella cuando se de cuenta de lo que ha pasado.”

Cristina tambien estará lista para finalmente abrirse con Owen y contarle sobre su ex, el Dr. Preston Burke, quién la dejó en el altar la tercera temporada. Y luego, esta temporada, veremos que el hospital abre una vacante para alguien que comparte el pasado con Owen.

Quién, Kevin promete, llegará a “desordenar las cosas.”

Los primeros tres episodios de Grey’s Anatomy estan oficialmente grabados, y un miembro original del elenco, James Pickens Jr.(Richard) dice que esta encantado con lo que parece ser una interesante temporada para su personaje, el Dr. Richard Webber(El Jefe).

“Él tiene que buscarse interiormente aún y debe tomar decisiones que puede cambien la direccion del hospital/o de su vida,” conto el actor a TV Guide.

“Va a tener a sus internos y residentes al borde del colapso, porque ellos no saben de donde hasta donde irán sus carreras.”

“Cuando dejamos la temporada pasada, el hospital estaba agobiador. Habia perdido su buen rating, y [El Jefe] paso mayor parte de la temporada tratando de traer nuevos doctores, consiguiendo nuevas maquinas, y aceptando acaparar medios en sus cirugias,” agrega Pickens.

“El hospital Seattle Grace es su bebe, y sabemos que él hara lo que sea necesario para recuperar su ranking. Algunos de los metodos serán convencionales y otros no tanto.”

“Veremos como se seguirá agotando en el curso de esta temporada.”

Como todos en el staff, James Pickens, Jr., repitio estamentos previos cuando explico que el jefe estará seriamente afectado por la muerte de George O’Malley. (Recuerden que él le dijo que se fuera temprano a casa…)

“La atmosfera ha estado un poco densa, sombria, porque han perdido a uno de ellos,” dice Pickens. “Su muerte afectará a cada miembro del elenco de forma diferente.”

“Todos se sienten responsables de alguna manera. Como es tipico del Jefe, él tratara de mantener el lugar unido y mantener la compostura, pero esto lo afectara demasiado en el fondo.”
