I don’t have many hobbies or things that I really like to do like my Renaissance Man twin sister Daphne , so it will come as no shock to you that I am addicted to television. In fact, my idea of a perfect Saturday night is hanging out in my bed watching episodes of Dexter or Sons of Anarchy with Nathan. Sure, we could be out drinking and having beers with friends, but I’m a mom and a student and I’m frigging tired.

My first real t.v. love was Lost (I don’t count Beverly Hills 90210 because I was an overly angst ridden 14 year old when it was my big obsession back in the early 90′s).

I miss Lost, miss it’s characters and it’s little hidden clues that I spent waaaaay too much time trying to figure out, miss Charlie Pace’s goofy smile and tape wrapped fingers, miss Hurley’s “dude-age”. And Ben and Locke. And the smoke monster. Especially once it was revealed that in the beginning he was the smokin hot guy that I loved from Deadwood. Sexy evil.

I think the end of lost resonated with me, because at the same time it was ending I had other endings happening in my life as well. I was graduating from college and leaving the comfort zone and friends that I had been with for over two years. I was terrified about the future and where I could go from where I was, and I was feeling…well…lost.

So today I share my geekdom with you all. I love Lost and yes, I actually enjoyed the finale and thought it was well done. And I am luckily not feeling lost anymore. I figured out my future. And I own all of the seasons on DVD so I can go baaaaaack any time I want (Lost geeks will get that last bit).

Happy Thursday!
