The day where my dream came true, and most probably one of the happiest day til date in my life. hahaha

Anyway today is not a good day for me. quite sad actually, did a shoot today and hais I am really quite worried aboout the pictures. hm and just didnt feel good about the shoot. firstly, the place is more ex, 2nd the DSLR IS SO HEAVY. I think its at least 2 KG! like after a few shots, my hand feels like its going to break and have to lift it down to take a break, and catch some breath. and aiya the whole shoot just didnt feel right. like cos the camera and lighting wasnt smooth, the camera kept gaving me problem and the lighting have to like keep readjusting. which in comparison to the shoot last week, its really inferior, given that i am paying 25-30% more for this studio.

I am so going to stick to the previous studio. I really liked that its fuss free and I think their set up is better plus I can just rent from there and can choose any model of the DSLR I want. And I shot so much more last week as compared to this week. when today is a 3.5hrs shoot. AIYA what made me felt super lousy is cos this shoot is supposed to b 2 HOURS ONLY. cos of stupid issues like the super heavy camera etc I cant shoot fast la. BOO. i dont know whether I can cover it back anot this cost. ROAR. I really wonder how much more money will I spend to learn from mistakes. URGH i did a count only like 17 sets of clothes for 3.5 hrs! if my mother was here today she would have roared and nagged at me now. HAIS.

So I reached home feeling SUPER DEJECTED. and so I rewarded myself with some takuya time. and oh man in the drama i saw SNOW MOUNTAINS. reminded me of my Hokkaido days. oh man I really want to go back!

A Unilever do Japão criou uma pesquisa sobre cuidados da pele para coincidir com o seu “Dia da Pele Saudável (ou Healthy Skin Day)”. Cerca de 600 pessoas entre homens e mulheres na faixa de 20 e 30 anos participaram.

Após calcularem os votos, a atriz Koyuki foi escolhida como a “celebridade que tem o melhor rosto sem maquiagem ”. Em segundo lugar ficou a atriz Kanno Miho enquanto o terceiro lugar foi para a também atriz Keiko Kitagawa.

A categoria “a celebribridade que eu mais quero ver sem maquiagem” foi para a cantora Ayumi Hamasaki e para Ai Haruna, vencedor do ‘Miss International Queen 2009′, concurso de beleza para transsexuais e travestis.

Na categoria casal, o prêmio foi para Hiro Mizushima e Ayaka. Quando perguntados sobre qual pele eles mais gostariam de ter, a escolha principal foi novamente a atriz Koyuki na categoria feminina, enquanto Takuya Kimura ganhou na categoria masculina.

Hubungan Ayumi ama Shinkai emang lucu – malu-malu kucing gitu… Di satu sisi, Ayumi terlalu keras, keukeuh sok ga suka. Di lain pihak, Shinkai kliatan santai aja. Eh, pas ktmu di restoran, baru d terbakar api cemburu. Ayumi ngeliat Shinkai jalan bareng sama Fukaura (Uchiyama Rina) dan Shinkai nge’gap’ Ayumi bareng sama Capt. Koda!! Wkwkwk, makan d tu gengsi. >.<v

Kekuatan dorama Jepang sampai saat ini adalah pemakaian tema yang variatif. Contohnya ya dorama profesi seperti Good Luck!! Dorama ini patut lo tonton terutama untuk nambah wawasan tentang dunia penerbangan. Walau bberapa orang bilang dorama ini seperti iklan untuk ANA airways, menurutku hal itu ga terlalu kentara ah. Namanya dunia penerbangan, ya nama perusahaannya pasti ada di badan pesawat n topi mekanik dong! Hehe. Anyway, OST-nya juga keren loh. Judulnya Ride on Time oleh Yamashita Tatsuro. Duh jd pgn nonton lagi… Sekian dulu ya. Ja!

Josh Hartnett ha contado en su reciente viaje a Corea que tiene una cierta afinidad con el pueblo coreado y que tiene unas ganas inmensas de trabajar con el talentosisimo actor  Song Kang Ho(Thrist, The Good, The Bad & The Weird) y el premiado director Park Chan Wook(Oldboy).

El actor estuvo promocionando su ultima pelicula “I Come with the Rain” en el festival internacional de cine de Busan asi que aprovecho para ganarse el corazoncito de los coreanos con estas declaraciones =P.

“I come with the rain” es la pelicula que une a la estrella de Hollywood con 2 estrellas asiaticas : el coreano Lee Byung Hun y el japones Takuya Kimura …. asi como con el gran Harvey Keitel!

En una entrevista reciente, dijo:

“Me encanta el estilo de las películas de Park Chan Wook. Quiero trabajar con él. Sobre  los actores, quiero trabajar con Song Kang Ho.”

La gente se sorprendió mucho de su claro interés y conocimiento sobre personajes del cine coreano gracias a estas declaraciones.

Josh Hartnett también mencionó :

“Fue muy divertido trabajar en esta película. Recorrimos todo Hong Kong… Creo que tengo una conexión con el pueblo coreano. Mi mejor amigo está saliendo con un coreana y mi hermano menor ha aprendido mucho sobre la historia de Corea . Me gustaria contar con  Lee Byung Hun para una película que quiero dirigir … Aunque también quisiera trabajar con Lee Young Ae.Todas las  mujeres coreanas que he visto desde mi visita  son realmente hermosas.”

“I come with the Rain” se estreno  en Francia el 2008, pero recien ha sido estrenada en Corea.

O portal Sohu publicou uma lista com as 100 celebridades que mais se destacaram em 2009 no Japão. A cantora Namie Amuro foi a vencedora, seguido de Hayao Miyazaki e Ayumi Hamasaki.

Namie Amuro que este ano quebrou recordes com o dvd  “BEST FICTION TOUR”, se tornando a cantora solo com o maior número de vendas de dvds na primeira semana, vendendo aproximadamente 150 mil cópias. Why is it that there’s no one forcing me to watch this drama before? One of the best! ^^

Buzzer Beat has just ended but frankly speaking, it was nothing compared to Pride. Both have love stories, and both are athletes; Pride with ice hockey and BB with basketball but yeah… I found that Pride have more values and stories in it while BB focuses mainly to the 2 main actors. ONLY. Ok ok this post is not meant to compare these two dramas but yeah, couldn’t help it since I’m so not a big fan of KimuTaku before; too biased to Arashi and Pi =P

People aged. I knew that. Everyone is. I don’t really remember if I have watch any of KimuTaku’s drama before but -I think- the first drama of him that I watched was Mr Brain. And he looks awful in that.

See what I mean…? But yeah, I know he’s a legend and again, everyone and everything will age. I will officially finishes all his dramas -after the final exam of course.

Pride ne… He’s hot in there but he’s not the HOT stuff hot thing. You know, the kind of hot because he’s sweet and strong on the  outside but actually is very fragile in the inside yet he’s the best kind of friend you’d love to have -that kind of hot. And I think I love to watch athletes; they are mecha mecha hot in jersey and awfully kakkoi when they are playing around in the game. And KimuTaku portrays it so lovely in this drama and I especially love his facial expressions. Feels like I could watch him forever. Haha exaggerates =P

The storyline is OK too accept those who are not so lovey-dovey-drama-fans like me wont be finding this drama amusing. Haha did I choose the right word to conveys my feelings?

The conclusion is, this drama is a MUST! ^_^

Apparently using this face product will turn you into a stud. Check out this commercial by Gatsby, a Japanese brand of skin and hair products for men. The hot guy in the clip is Takuya Kimura, one of the top entertainers in Japan whose claim to fame is from being part of a boyband called SMAP, a band started in 1988. For some reason, boybands don’t really lose their appeal in Japan. SMAP is still as popular, or even more popular, than when they started out. Now if this product turns me into Jessica Alba, I’m going to go buy a huge box of it.

Sinopsis:

Tsukumo Ryusuke 5 tahun yang lalu adalah seorang Host dari sebuah club. Sebuah kecelakaan menimpanya yang akhirnya membuat dia berhenti menjadi seorang Host dan berkarir di bidang psikologi lalu menjadi seorang neuroscientist. Seorang ilmuwan ahli di bidang syaraf.

Di awal cerita setelah menjadi seorang neuroscientist Ryusuke diceritakan bertugas di sebuah badan riset yang sebenarnya adalah bagian dari Agen Polisi Nasional (Police National Agency) yang bernama NRIPS (National Research Institute of Police Science) atau badan khusus yang meriset dan menyelidiki sebuah asal sebab kejadian perkara ditinjau dari sisi ilmu pengetahuan.

Di badan ini Ryusuke di bantu oleh seorang asisten yang bernama Yuri Kazune. Selain itu di pihak kepolisian Ryusuke juga di bantu oleh seorang polisi muda yang bernama Inspektur Hayashida. Bertiga mereka saling membantu untuk menyelidiki kasus-kasus yang muncul di tiap episode.

Namun, dibalik kecerdasan Ryusuke ternyata dia juga memiliki kelemahan dan inilah yang sering menjadi gangguan, kelemahan Ryusuke tersebut adalah dia kurang bisa membaca keadaan, contohnya ketika terjadi sebuah ledakan di sebuah jalan yang membuat orang-orang berhamburan panik, Ryusuke berada di sana di sebuah kafe yang pengunjungnya lari berhamburan dan dia duduk dengan tenangnya membuka paket. Saat polisi datang dan melihatnya yang sangat santai, polisi pun mencurigainya dan menangkapnya untuk di interogasi karena menduga dia adalah pelaku peledakan bomnya.

Namun kekurangannya itu, tidak mengurangi rasa hormat yang diberikan oleh sesama rekannya karena kecerdasannya dalam hal science. Apalagi jika ada suatu hal yang menarik perhatiannya, ia akan terus menelitinya dan tidak pernah menyerah untuk membuat si tersangka menyerah.

Satu informasi tambahan dorama ini salah satu dorama yang banyak mengundang bintang tamu diantaranya Hirosue Ryoko, Gackt, dan Kazuya Kamenashi.

The live-action “Space Battleship Yamato” movie had its cast publicly revealed on Friday, along with other new details about the project.

The film is being directed by Takashi Yamazaki with a projected release date in December 2010. As previously announced, SMAP member Takuya Kimura (36) will star as the protagonist Susumu Kodai, while Meisa Kuroki (21) has been confirmed as the replacement for Erika Sawajiri (23) in the role of Yuki Mori.

Two characters have been modified for the movie. Crew members Aihara and Dr. Sado have been changed into females, played by Maiko (24) and Reiko Takashima (45), respectively.

The other cast members revealed so far are Toshiro Yanagiba (as Shiro Sanada), Naoto Ogata (as Daisuke Shima), Hiroyuki Ikeuchi (as Hajime Saito), Shinichi Tsutsumi (as Mamoru Kodai), Isao Hashizume (as Heikuro Todo), Toshiyuki Nishida (as Hikozaemon Tokugawa), and Tsutomu Yamazaki (as Juzo Okita).

The actor playing the antagonist Desslar has not yet been announced.

The CG-heavy film has an estimated budget of more than 2 billion yen. Filming will start later this month.

Gw baru tau kalo ternyata Erika Sawajiri itu a/ artis yg bermasalah, well setidaknya buat pihak agensinya. Buktinya Stardust, selaku pihak agensi Erika Sawajiri udah resmi memecat sang artis dgn alasan pelanggaran kontrak kerja pd tgl 28 September 2009.

Pdhl sang artis msh pny sisa waktu dr kontrak kerjanya dan bahkan pny rencana ambil bagian di proyek film besar, tp krn seriusnya pelanggaran kontrak yg dilakukan Erika, Stardust ga mao nunggu ampe kontrak kerjanya selesai dan langsung memecat doi.

Seserius apa sih?? Well, ternyata masalah dimulai dr taon 2007 kmrn waktu dia msh promosi film “Closed Note“. Waktu itu Erika-sama (julukan para media ttg kelakuan buruknya) dikritik keras atas tindakannya yg tidak profesional waktu ada even promosi film tsb. Di waktu yg sama pula, Erika ketauan mpy hub asmara dgn multimedia creator Tsuyoshi Takashiro (45), yg akhirnya dia nikahi awal taon ini.

Sejak itu, karir Erika bs dibilang sunyi senyap, tp pemberitaan mengenai dirinya ga berhenti muncul di surat kabar bbrp kali. Kejadian terakhir terjadi di bulan Juli, waktu dia berkunjung ke Amami Oshima buat ngeliat gerhana matahari disana. Waktu itu ada video yg menunjukkan Erika lg mengendarai sepeda yg memiliki motor, tp kmd diketahui kalo sepeda tsb ga pny ijin resmi spt yg shrsnya.

Kejadian yg cukup bikin Stardust kewalahan y/ kejadian dimana Erika menghadiri promosi dr sebuah brand fashion terkenal di New York bln Feb lalu. Doi ga pny ijin dr Stardust tuh buat dtg kesono. Dia maen dtg aja. Tambahan lagi, ada rumor yg beredar kalo Erika sering pergi ke Eropa dgn suaminya itu buat nge-drug! Tepatnya rumor tsb bilang kalo mereka sering menghadiri pesta nge-drug di Ibiza. Ckckck… Dr situ rumor lainnya jg bermunculan, ada yg mengatakan kalo waktu dia ada di Amami Oshima itu, dia beserta suaminya menghadiri suatu event yg jg dihadiri oleh Noriko Sakai dan Yuichi Takaso yg kasus narkobanya bikin dunia ent. Jepang heboh baru2 ini. Semakin menguatkan rumor keterlibatannya dgn narkoba. Bener2 dah!

Oleh sebab itu skrg Stardust mengumumkan akan menge-test semua artis yg ada di bwh naungan mereka buat memastikan para artis mereka ga terlibat dgn drug. Tentu aja test tsb akan dilakukan atas seijin artis yg bersangkutan. Mereka akan pake alat pendeteksi narkoba yg dibuat di Amrik agar hasilnya lbh akurat.

Lalu bagaimana dgn nasib karir Erika?? Walopun jelas hal ini akan menodai namanya di dunia ent. Jepang, tp dgn statusnya sbg istri multimedia creator, ga sulit baginya buat bikin manajemen baru. Ato kalo dia males akting lagi toh dia msh pny karir jd ibu rumah tangga… :p

Nah mari kita berlanjut ke berita Meisa Kuroki. Td kan udah dibilang kalo Erika ada rencana terlibat di proyek film besar. Nah proyek film besar itu a/ film”Space Battleship Yamato“. Tdnya Erika dpt peran wanita utama di film ini, tp krn insiden pemecatan oleh Stardust, posisinya kini diganti oleh Meisa Kuroki.

“Space Battleship Yamato” aslinya dr anime, tp skrg mo dibikin versi live-actionnya. Sapa yg tau anime ini?? Gw sih pernah denger, tp ga pernah nonton soalnya ga tertarik dgn konsep utamanya yg ttg perang luar angkasa. Film live-action nya ini dikabarkan berbudget 2 milyar yen lho! Soalnya akan ada bny animasi CG (Computer Graphic) yg berat buat film ini.

Peran utama pria jatuh pd Takuya Kimura yg akan berperan sbg Susumu Kodai, pemimpin battleship Yamato. Sedangkan Meisa Kuroki sbg Yuki Mori. Film ini akan mulai syuting pertengahan bulan Oktober dan akan dirilis di bioskop Jepang taon 2010 nanti.

Taon 2009 memang taon sibuk bg Meisa Kuroki. Selain bbrp drama/film, doi jg resmi debut sbg penyanyi taon ini. Dan ditengah2 sibuknya berkarir, Meisa dikabarkan jg lg sibuk pacaran dgn Shido Nakamura (37), seorg pemain Kabuki. Keduanya bertemu di drama teatrikal “Akai Shiro, Kuroi Suna” bln April lalu.

Sejak bercerai dr Yuko Takeuchi bln Feb 2008 lalu, Shido Nakamura sering dirumorkan pacaran dgn bny wanita, tp doi ga pernah mengakui hub nya dgn para wanita tsb. Tp lain halnya dgn kencannya dgn Meisa Kuroki. Dia malah mengembar-gemborkan hal ini pd teman2nya. Lee Byung-hun continues to expand his horizons. After his “kimchi Western” flick “The Good, the Bad, the Weird” featured at the Cannes Film Festival last year, he made his Hollywood debut in “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.” In the fall he will appear in the U.S.-France joint production “I Come With the Rain,” and his anticipated blockbuster TV soap “Iris” will hit screens at the end of the year.

All these works were shot overseas. “I Come With the Rain” is particularly drawing much attention: directed by esteemed Vietnamese-French auteur Tran Ahn Hong, the movie stars Lee opposite Hollywood heartthrob Josh Hartnett and Japanese superstar Takuya Kimura. It will be screened at the 14th Pusan (Busan) International Film Festival (PIFF) next month before hitting theaters nationwide Oct. 15.

“I deliberated for a year for this piece,” Lee was quoted as telling Yonhap News, explaining that “choosing this piece was an experiment.”

“When I first received the script I thought it was too abstract. I was afraid; I thought ‘Would I be able to pull through when I don’t fully understand the piece?’ But how much would this world-renowned master director know about me? Just my name and maybe a couple of works I starred in. But I was curious about what strengths this director, who has no stereotyped opinion of me, sees in me, and how he would use me,” said the 38-year-old.

Lee plays the role of Hong Kong mafia boss Su Dong-po. Los Angeles cop-turned-private eye Kline (Hartnett) travels to Hong Kong in search of a billionaire’s missing son Shitao (Kimura). Shitao turns out to be with Su Dong-po’s girlfriend Lili, and Su Dong-po, infuriated, sets out to catch Shitao.

Lee said that the movie “has become a turning point” in his career. As someone who tends to wait for works that are “sure to move his heart and even stone bridges” he was able to be more open-hearted. “I was very curious but I couldn’t accept the offer right away because I was afraid. `No, if I’m curious then let’s face it head-on,’ I told myself. I am an actor for life but I was also thinking how much longer I can work in my best condition,” he said.

Lee said he was perplexed by the director, who had the actors direct their own acting. But once he became accustomed to it, he learned to appreciate the novel experience.

“The director was like, ‘Do it as you like. If you move the camera will follow.’ Even though this one scene was edited into just a five-second reel, I was dumbfounded having to act for one to two minutes without any direction. But once I got used to it I liked it,” he said. Lee explained that he even shed tears as he immersed himself in the moment, but that part got cut out.

While Lee deliberated over “Rain” for over a year, it took him three months to decide to star in “G.I. Joe” and a month for “The Good, the Bad, the Weird.” Unfortunately, the shooting for “Rain,” which took place in Hong Kong, and “The Good…,” set in China, coincided.

“Gosh… I just did it, but in retrospect I don’t know how I did it. I thought it would be OK to fly back and forth since it’s China and Hong Kong, but the Chinese set was in the desert so I had to transfer flights three times.

Including the waiting time, it took 13 hours. The third time I travelled I came down with a terrible fever and had to visit a foreign hospital for the first time in my life,” he said.

When asked if it was spiritually and physically draining to star in big budget movies, he said he did feel pressured but tried his best to overcome it.

“But acting in smaller-scale movies doesn’t lessen the amount of pressure or responsibility. On the other hand, it can be paralyzing to become obsessed with the idea that you’re starring in a big-budget film. Freedom is the most important thing for an actor,” he said.

“I did not intend on starring in big budget projects. I like to be free of such thoughts. Like my fans, I like to feel the anticipation and anxiety and face it head-on, about what piece I’ll do next,” he said.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Erika Sawajiri, a local tabloid fave for a series of headline-making scandals, has been replaced as the female lead of the upcoming Japanese science fiction live action movie Space Battleship Yamato, according to Japan press reports.

Her replacement is Meisa Kuroki, who starred in Takashi Miike’s two “Crows” high school gang movies.
Based on Leiji Matsumoto’s classic anime (titled Star Blazers in the US), the live-action Yamato is being produced by broadcaster TBS and its partners. Shooting is schedule to start in mid-October, with release by Toho in December 2010.
The director is Takashi Yamazaki, whose credits include the pics “Always” and “Ballad,” a time-traveling fantasy that has done strong-if-not-stellar box office since its September 5 release. The male lead is Takuya Kimura, member of the pop group SMAP.

Plus, a new anime movie, titled Space Battleship Yamato Rebirth Chapter, is also in production for a December 12th 2009 release in Japan.

Recentemente, muitos rumores sobre a saída de Erika Sawajiri da Stardust Promotion vieram à tona na imprensa japonesa, devido a seus atos pouco profissionais e violação de contrato. E finalmente os rumores  foram confirmados oficialmente no dia 28 de setembro, a atriz realmente foi demitida de sua agência e o profile dela inclusive já foi retirado do ar no site da Stardust.

Devido a tantas polêmicas envolvidas ao seu redor, parece que Erika não vai conseguir voltar à sua carreira de atriz na versão live-action para o cinema de “Space Battleship Yamato” (conhecido no Brasil como “Patrulha Estelar”).

Para aqueles que sonhavam em ver o “comeback” de Erika Sawajiri como atriz, parece que vão ter que esperar sentado, pois foi anunciado de que ela possivelmente será substituída pela atriz Meisa Kuroki, que interpretará o papel de Yuki Mori em seu lugar.

“Space Battleship Yamato” é protagonizado por Takuya Kimura (SMAP), e suas filmagens começam no meio de outubro, o lançamento do filme está previsto apenas para ano que vem.

the singer’s vocal is powerful & the band’s guitarists were awesome as well. Listening to the CD track is so different as compared to their LIVE performances.

10 years on, now that I am watching this drama again, I must say that, Takeshi Kaneshiro’s japanese  sounds weird, as in, its not authentic Japanese’s spoken japanese. He just sounds different from how a Japanese should sound like speaking japanese. As in, you can hear that its an acquired language for him, unlike other Japanese.

But putting that aside, rewatching these clips, makes me want to rewatch the whole drama again. I think this is actually my favourite Japanese drama, which I don’t really wish to admit. hahaha.
