Now, usually I don’t do this but I was feeling like a chic, little baby doll Saturday, with my ultra fierce color-blocking. I had spent my day at Hilltop Mall meeting with some of the Bay’s favorite designers at Filthy Dripped’s grand re-opening. Filthy Dripped is a Bay Area based apparel clothing store, specializing in menswear. Every now and again the designers will feature a girl’s line. However, I’ve been finding myself becoming more and more attracted to men’s apparel. Also, I have no problem wearing men’s apparel. I normally dress them up with a nice wedge or stiletto style boot. I’ll upload pictures soon. I really wanted a Shmop ( Bay Area term: smacking and popping) crew neck but all they had was a small. I will be going back next week to snag one in my size. But back to outfit though.

Shirt: Forever 21 $5.80- I purchased this last summer when I was shopping for my visit to Louisiana after missing new york fashion week because the hotels were full.

Colored Jeans: Forever 21 $22.80- These colored beauties. They also had every color: peach, plum, orange, white, etc. I also purchased light blue and black. I’ve already purchased the other colors from Macy’s. However, I fortunate enough to find them at a Forever 21 that carried Faith 21 (F21′s plus size line) apparel. As you all know my curves are a hearty healthy 16, well 14 this diet of fruit, veggies and lean meats actually works. My only complaint are they unzip, as did the other pair I purchased. Which I fixed by tightening my zip with my tools for my jewelry kit (improvise darling).

Clutch: Jessica Simpson $19.99 T.J. Maxx- Yes, I was indeed a maxxinista with my J.C. which was original $88 dollars. What a steal!.

Shoes: Charlotte Russe’s: $15.00- You are as shocked as I am. I normally don’t buy their shoes but they had a buy one get one for $15 sale. I did some damage that day. Their store in New Park mall actually has a variety and quality selection.

My Smile: Priceless! One dimple and all, lol

Hat: $5 5,7,9-The only thing I’ve purchased out of that store. For I am not a 5, 7, or 9. A healthy plus size 16. Shaping back down to my usual 11/13.

Jacket Romper: $15, Rainbow- Don’t sleep on Rainbow sometimes you find little diamonds hidden in their rough.

Leggings That Are Too Little: $5, Walmart-The leggings which are perpetrating as pants due to my weight loss came from Wally World.

Cheetah Loafers: $19.50, Go Jane- I love their website. They have the best affordable, chic and stylish clothing. I’d love to have them advertised on the blog. Hey there GoJane. I ordered 5 pair of shoes last next for my birthday and vacation next week. Thanks Jane, hun-nay!

Purse: $298, Dooney & Dooney & Bourke- I took my mother’s D&B purse six months ago and have yet to get it back. I hope she doesn’t read this post -_-

Earrings: $8, Claires- This used to be my one stop shop in middle and high school. I swear by Claire’s and icing. I still go there from time to time. They always have unique finds in their treasure chest.

Necklace: $16, Forever 21-The necklace used to be layered on a 6 layer chain, they chain somehow got tangled, I ripped the shreds to pieces just to get that beautiful cross pendant. I refused to part with. Christ!

Bracelet: $8, Claire’s- I love jewelry. As you may have noticed I spent more money on my accessories than any other part of my outfit. I also dress my outfit around my accessories. I love gold, crystals and pearls together #EpicAndRare Combo

Ring: $4.50, Forever 21-I love this pretty, little butterfly ring. I love Forever 21. I love styling my clients from there who are on a budget. I owe Forever 21 for my new profound love for jewelry making I acquired within the last year. One of my best friends Rosie, witnessed me purchased $200-$500 worth of jewelry from Forever 21 two weeks in a row. And staged an intervention against my free will. But now I’m thankful because I have Miss Understood Jewelry.

Diva on a budget…obviously..#CollegeStudent&IndependentDesignerStatus #NoShame
