Tras un regreso relativamente bueno en los dramas con “Friend, Our Legend”, Hyun Bin se esta concentrando exclusivamente en sus proyectos filmicos … es asi que pronto, prontisimo estrenara su nueva pelicula “I’m Happy” .

Y como si eso fuera poco, acaba de confirmarse su nuevo proyecto “Manchu”, una pelicula de produccion coreano-americana en la que compartira el protagonico junto a la estrella china Tang Wei Wei.

En “I’m Happy” Hyun Bin interpreta a Man Soo, un enfermo mental recluido en un centro siquiatrico mientras que Lee Bo Young(A Dirty Carnival)  interpreta a Soo Kyung,una enfermera de dicho hospital mental. El sera un chico sufrido que vive aislado de la realidad debido a que su madre sufre de demencia y su hermano  mayor tambien de desordenes mentales.

Ambos son 2 alamas heridas por la vida que encontraran en el amor una locura que si vale la pena vivir ….

La película  dirigida por Yoon Jong Chan, director de conocidos films como “Sorum”  “Blue Swallow”, fue la película de clausura en el 14 º Festival Internacional de Cine de Busan (PIFF) el mes pasado.

Tal parece que esta con todas las ganas de seguir con el cine, proque acaba de anunciar su nuevo film “Manchu” coproduccion Coreano-americana que sera un remake de un clasico de los 60’s, tambien titulado MANCHU [만추].

La historia gira en torno a un romance entre una mujer que tiene un permiso especial(acaba de salir de la carcel gracias a un beneficio penitenciario) y un joven que escapa de unos prestamistas .

El director del film ha dado algunos detalles de la cinta como que  se grabara enteramente en Seattle (USA) y en ingles …  y que la filmacion se iniciara a fines de este mes o a lo mucho a inicios de Diciembre .

Hyun Bin e a bela atriz chinesa de Lust, Caution, Tang Wei, protagonizarão um remake de um clássico coreano dos ‘60, Late Autumn (ou Manchu, 만추).

O filme será uma produção coreana-americana e girará ao redor de uma história de amor de 3 dias entre uma mulher recém saída da cadeia por uma permissão especial e um jovem que foge de um grupo de agiotas.

O original, de Lee Man Hee, desapareceu e não existem cópias, mas é considerado um dos  melhores filmes da Coréia, o 1º dos filmes modernos do país.

Mas esta não será a primeira versão da história; já que em 1975 y e em 1981 foi levado ao cine com o nome de Promise of the Flesh e Late Autumn (protagonizado este último por Kim Hye Ja, de Mother), e até em 1972 houve um versão japonesa.

Late Autumn/Manchu será gravado nos Estados Unidos sob a direção de Kim Tae Young e ambos atores atuarão em inglês. A gravação começará no final de dezembro, para estrear em 2010.

Outros atores, como Jang Dong Gun ou Lee Jun Ki, foram cogitados para o papel, mas finalmente foi para Hyun Bin, que está centrado no estudo do idioma de Shakespeare.

Hyun Bin telah menemukan Tang Wei sebagai pasangannya untuk film remake tahun 66 “Late Autumn” aka Manchu 만추.

Film ini menceritakan tentang kisah cinta selama 3 hari antara seorang wanita yang baru keluar dari penjara dan seorang pria yang sedang dalam pelarian. Film ini sebenarnya telah di-remake sebanyak 2 kali, pada tahun 1975 “Promise of The Flesh” dan tahun 1981 “Late Autumn”. Bahkan film ini pernah di remake oleh Jepang pada tahun 1972 “Promise”.  Film ini akan rilis pada tahun 2010.

It’s been almost three years since Tang Wei made her film debut in the controversial World War II erotic thriller Lust, Caution. What has she been up to since then?

Well, basically…not much. Given the controversial nature of her debut, Tang Wei has had difficulty getting accepted by the strict Chinese censor board and news media alike. In fact, during the 28th Hong Kong Film Awards held this year, many news outlets excised her pictures and any mention of her in their coverage of the event. I feel bad for Tang Wei.  It’s one thing to be ostracized for being a bad actress, but she proved herself to be one of the more promising ones after giving a polished performance far beyond her years in Lust, Caution. That film was the springboard for her career, but still, I can’t help but think that if she had just waited until she was a more established actress before taking on such a daring role, she wouldn’t be having this much trouble getting more work. Recently, Zhou Xun and Li Bing Bing had also filmed intimate scenes for another dark World War II film, The Message, but neither of them has had to face the kind of hurdles that Tang Wei have precisely because both are actresses whom movie goers are already familiar with and have already amassed a fan base prior to the film. Unfortunately, Tang Wei didn’t have that advantage. In fact, she’s had to obtain citizenship in Hong Kong to bypass the ban imposed against her by China’s SARFT censor board. And for what, doing her job? Sheesh. Sure, the film could’ve done with less explicit sex scenes, but Tang Wei shouldn’t be bearing the sole blame for it. They should blame Ang Lee. As great a director as he is, all that time filming British/American films have instilled in him a Western sensibility that’s incompatible with China’s more conservative viewing habits. But then again, I don’t think Lust, Caution was ever meant to be aimed for the Chinese market in the first place.

With Tang Wei’s upcoming film Crossing Hennessy set to be released sometimes next year in which she co-stars with Heavenly King Jacky Cheung in a romantic comedy, she’s hoping to project a different image of herself. And I am hoping she will succeed.

Well, let’s just say it was a good thing I didn’t actually bet any real money on my predictions. While I am a bit surprised by some of the results, mainly because I didn’t expect an award ceremony to be so…fair, I am more than happy with it. Even though Red Cliff did not win any of the major awards as I had anticipated, it did make a killing in the technical categories, so in a way I was right (what? At least let me keep some shred of dignity.) Anyway, picture time!

Credit to Ang Lee–the man does not make the same movie twice. He’s gone from The Ice Storm to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon to Brokeback Mountain to Lust, Caution. And don’t forget Hulk, probably the best of the comic movie boom. The Taiwan-born director’s latest is Taking Woodstock, based on the true story of a young Catskills hotelier who helped promoters put on the famed festival in 1969.

Lee never seems to let much of himself show through his movies, although they always feel sincere. Many of his films are written by producing partner James Schamus, who also penned the Taking Woodstock adaptation. Lee uses actors in interesting ways–just dig the gymnastics of Tony Leung Chiu-Wai and Tang Wei in Lust, Caution–and they reward him with memorable performances. (Brokeback Mountain made Heath Ledger’s legend.) The married director frequently deals in gay themes, and Woodstock’s tale is no exception. Elliot Tiber’s memoir is also about how he hides his sexuality from his parents, who own the impoverished resort he helps run.

Weirdly enough, aside from several hippies who look like they’re in an Abercrombie & Fitch photo shoot, there’s no mention of that in this trailer. Alas, what is on screen doesn’t make much of a case for Taking Woodstock’s existence. The overall vibe is of an indie comedy, with the production values of a VH1 made-for-TV movie. The main questions are: Will Elliot save the resort by providing land for the festival? Can Elliot and the hippies fend off the angry citizens of upstate New York? While the cast includes the appealing Comedy Central poster child Demitri Martin as Elliot Tiber and Eugene Levyas Max Yasgur, though, the film doesn’t look particularly funny.

Still, look closely and you’ll see Emile Hirsch, fresh from Milk’s storefront and now doing the mad-as-hell flower child thing. Liev Schrieber looks considerably more blissed-out at the prospect of three days of peace, music and rolling around in the mud. Nobody looks like they could actually plausibly exist in the 1960s.

Brokeback Mountain couldn’t be made at any other time except the Bush era, and Lust, Caution was an attempt to spark to bring the sexy back to China (the Communist censors simply cut out the offending scenes and said the positions could cause physical harm.) But Lee’s motives for Taking Woodstock are on this evidence still unknown.

Il Mattino: “Eterogeneo, estenuato, fluviale eppure avvincente – grazie anche alle circoscritte ma cruciali sequenze di sesso (l’avranno fatto davvero?) – Lussuria del superpremiato Ang Lee non solo tratteggia un verosimile affresco della resistenza cinese all’occupazione nipponica tra il ‘38 e il ‘42, ma si distingue per un taglio melò tanto estremo da diventare provocatorio”.
Il Corriere della Sera: “A parte l’impeccabile disegno dei caratteri, sia nudi che vestiti, Lussuria si fa apprezzare per la miracolosa ricostruzione dell’ambiente…”.
La Stampa: “…un film di stile impeccabile, anche se non sempre equilibrato nella struttura”.
Panorama: “…un film affascinante, complesso nella costruzione, ricco nei dettagli e nelle psicologie, ma certo troppo lungo (2 ore e mezzo) e gonfio di derive”.

Agli Americani, che lo hanno coprodotto, il film di Ang Lee non è piaciuto molto: critiche fredde, incassi scarsi (Variety: E’ un melodramma pulito e freddo, che dopo un’ora e mezza sta ancora scaldando il motore). Ma Lussuria merita di essere visto, e per vari motivi.
Affronta un periodo storico dal cinema poco illustrato (l’invasione della Cina da parte dei Giapponesi), ritrae in modo mirabile due personaggi (al contempo vittima-carnefice) estremamente interessanti, mostra chiaramente quanto l’erotismo e la passione amorosa siano a volte determinanti, offre scene di sesso finalmente non superflue e gratuite ma essenziali allo sviluppo del racconto.
Smagliante la fotografia e la ricostruzione ambientale, funzionale e accattivante la colonna sonora, superlativa la recitazione dei protagonisti (ma non solo). Tony Leung conferma, dopo Happy together In the mood for love 2046 Hero, di essere uno dei migliori attori della attuale cinematografia (perfetto, calibrato e misurato al massimo), Joan Chen, dopo prove non molto esaltanti, ha finalmente modo di mostrare in pieno il suo fascino e la sua notevole bravura in un personaggio che non sarà facile dimenticare. Perfetta l’esordiente Tang Wei.

Abituato ai frenetici ritmi di tanta produzione hollywoodiana, Lussuria a qualcuno potrà non piacere: la lunghezza, il soffermarsi su particolari, il dispiegarsi lento della narrazione… sono però necessari e contribuiscono al fascino di un film che Venezia ha premiato con il Leone d’oro.

Je l’ai déjà dit dans “je ne suis pas un écureuil”, j’aime les pouffes! Oui, vive les filles sexy qui chantent des chanson qui te donnent envie de faire “shake-shake” du popotin. Vive les femmes élégantes, qui ont du charisme et qui font tomber les gens comme des mouches sur leur passage. Vive les femmes qui n’ont pas peur de suiciter la contreverse, qui ne se plient pas aux stéréotype de la “femme cruche”. À toutes ces femmes, je remet fièrement le trophé de “Golden Pouffe” parce qu’elles le valent bien! Alors mes bigorneaux le Sushi va vous citer ci dessous quelques pouffes qu’elle affectionne tout particulièrement.

Lee Hyori

D’une pierre deux coups! Du bishie pour satisfaire les demoiselles aussi. L’inmanquable, l’incontournable, l’indétrônable: LEE HYORI! . La chanteuse sexy la plus populaire de Corée, actrice à ses heures perdues et CF Queen (c’est une ex miss soju. Voir sa pub >>ICI<< ). Que dire d’elle? Premièrement, je l’aime beaucoup beaucoup beaucoup. Cette meuf est belle, sexy et charismatique (et ce n’est pas la population masculine qui me contredira XD). Mais à part ça, elle mérite vraiment le respect. Premièrement, ça fait des lustres qu’elle est dans le showbiz coréen. Elle a commencé en 1998 avec un grilsband Fin.K.L. Ils ont fait un carton à l’époque. Son dernier album était un des “comeback” des plus attendus de l’année 2008. Les pubs se l’arrachent. D’ailleurs, elle en fait souvent pour Vidal Sassoon.

Tout ça mis à part, il y a plein de p’tits détails qui la mettent vraiment à part des autres. Premièrement, elle aborde fièrement son bronzage dans un pays où une femme pâle comme un cachet d’aspirine est l’idéal de la beauté. En effet elle a un peu de cet air “bimbo”. Elle bronze, elle se décolore les cheveux, elle n’y va pas de main molle avec le maquillage… et malgré cette image pas très ”sérieuse”, c’est une des chanteuses les mieux payées en Corée et qui réussit le mieux en affaires. De plus, elle a avoué il n’y pas longtemps qu’elle pesait 53 kilos. La majorité des entertainers féminines ont peur de passer la barre des 50 kilos. Aussi, Hyori a 30 ans. Rien d’extraordinaire? On est en Asie quand même! Les chanteuses là-bas quittent la scène plus tôt que les danseuses de ballet. Par exemple, en début des années 2000, Park Ji Yoon était une star. Où elle est maintenant? Mariée bien sûr! Comme une femme coréenne digne de ce nom. Non, mais oh! Se trémousser sur scène en mini-jupe à 30 ans! C’est inacceptable! C’est grotesque! C’est indigne! Où va le monde!?

Mais Hyori, malgré son status de pouffe reste une fille comme les autres. Elle aime s’amuser et a une pesonnalité très attachante. On peut le voir d’ailleurs dans le show “Family Outing” que je vous ordonne de regarder è___é *évite les cailloux*.

C’est pour toutes les raison citée en haut que la miss Hyori ouvre notre parade des pouffes!

Chae Yeon

Une autre pouffe beaucoup moins connue, mais que j’affectionne tout autant. Premièrement parce que je la trouve vraiment très très belle. Elle a un visage très particulier. Alors notre Chae Yeon a aquis sa réputation de chaudasse avec son clip “Two Of Us” que vous pouvez visionner >>ICI<<  . Cet MV en a choqué plus d’un. On y voit Chae Yeon se déhancher lascivement dans des tenues sexy. C’est ainsi qu’elle s’est bâtit une fanbase et bien sûr, une anti-fanbase.

Mais ce qui a vraiment nuit à la réputation de Chae Yeon c’est l’histoire avec Kim Jong Kook. On dit qu’elle a eu le béguin pour lui et les fangirls de Kim Jong Kook ne l’ont bien sûr pas pris. Le site officiel de la miss s’est fait bombarder par des messages de mécontentement et des menaces de mort. Les fans trouvaient qu’elle le collait trop dans les émissions de variété comme X-man. Et de toute façon c’est une pute. Elle a sûrement couché avec tout plein de mecs pour réussir. Elle est pas assez bien pour notre Jong Kook-oppa.

Mais vous savez, le temps passe, le passé s’oublie et les fangirls se calment. Maintenant Chae Yeon reste pas mal éffacée. J’ai plus réentendu parler d’elle depuis son album “My Love”. Elle a malheureusement passé au second plan. Malgré tout, j’espère toujours un retour XD

Tang Wei

Rien à avoir avec la kpop. Pas même avec la pop au fait. Tang Wei, pour ceux qui le sauraient pas, est une jeune actrice chinoise en route pour la gloire. Elle est l’héroïne du film d’Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain) ”Lust Caution”. Tout est bien parti pour elle: Ang Lee l’a pris sous son aile, Tony Leung ne dit que du bien d’elle, les contrats publicitaires ne se font pas attendre… alors pourquoi elle serait une pouffe? Eh bien moi je la concidère comme une. Pas besoin d’être une bombasse pour être pouffe. Il faut tout d’abord avoir suicité la contreverse et Tang Wei elle, l’a suicité. L’actrice a été bannie des petits et grands écrans en Chine pour avoir tourné des scènes très osées dans son premier grand film “Lust Caution”. Certaines autres sources disent que son ban est dû d’abord au caractère “anti-patriotique” de son personnage qui a une liaison avec un traitre. Pour la première raison ou l’autre, c’est assez pour me faire rire jaune.

J’ai moi-même vu “Laust Caution” et je confirme que les scènes de “oulà-oulà” sont assez graphiques, mais rien de PORNOgraphique. Et surtout, Tang Wei est une actrice absolument GÉ-NI-ALE. Zhang Ziyi peut aller se gratter (je ne comprend toujours pas la raison de sa popularité d’ailleurs). Pour son premier rôle, Tang a fait très fort. Et puis, avouez-le, elle est juste trop mignonne cette fille! Dire qu’elle a 28 ans! Bref, Tang Wei, une actrice à ne pas manquer!

Ok So-Ri

Laissez-moi vous rappeler les faits: Ok So-Ri, actrice coréenne a évité sous peu la prison à cause qu’elle a commis l’adultère. Elle a admis avoir eu des relations extra-conjugales, et son mari, Park Chul, demanda la peine de prison maximum pour elle, c’est à dire 2 ans. Eh oui, pour ceux qui sauraient pas, l’adultère est puni par la loi en Corée. Toutefois, ça se rend rarement jusqu’à la cour de justice. Mais bref, après que les accusations ont été effectuées, Ok So-Ri déclara qu’elle ne comptait pas se laisser faire. Elle qualifia cette loi d’archaïque, complètement inappliquable dans la société coréenne d’aujourd’hui.

 Qu’on soit d’accord ou pas avec la loi, il faut reconnaitre qu’Ok So-Ri a pas mal de culot de tenir tête à la cour. C’est vrai qu’elle devait avant tout sauver sa peau, mais elle déclara tout haut ce que beaucoup de gens pensent tout bas. Et puis, je suis tout à fait d’accord avec elle. Je vois pas en quoi sa vie sexuelle concerne le gouvernement. Ce qu’elle a fait c’est immoral, mais pas illégal. De toute façon, son mari non plus n’était pas tout rose. Il avait aussi eu des maitresses. Sauf que vous voyez, on pardonne beaucoup plus difficilemtn aux femmes qu’aux hommes. Remarquez, un homme qui a plusieurs amantes, c’est un playboy/casanova. Une femme qui trompe, c’est une trainée. 

Je pense que je vais m’arrêter ici. Le blabla commence à être long XD. Je voulais aussi ajouter Jessica H.O dans cette petite liste, mais l’article sur son comeback est venu avant, alors évitons la redondance. Lust, Caution, Ang Lee’s follow up to Brokeback Mountain, for which he won the Academy Award� for Best Director, continues his exploration of people with a passion for each other trapped in a world where their passion could be life-threatening, but in a very different context this time. Set in China during the Japanese occupation of early World War II, the underlying plot concerns the story of young Wong Chia Chi (Tang Wei), an actress and member of a small group of student resistors planning to infiltrate the home of Mr. Yee (Tony Leung), a high-ranking collaborationist government official, in order to kill him for his role in the torture and executions of Chinese resistance fighters. Chi ingratiates herself with Yee’s wife, the sophisticated and cultured Mrs. Yee (Joan Chen) under the guise of being the wife of a wealthy but unseen tycoon. Flashbacks tell the tale of how Chi came to be involved with the resistors: her acting ability is her most valuable asset, and her assignment is to act the role of Mr. Yee’s lover, right down to the sex. The story of their love and the painful intimacy it involves for both of them is told through their sexual relationship, which starts out violently, drifts into S&M, and shifts with their feelings, moving from pain and fear to some sort of desperate connection. This is lust with a capital L; the film’s sex scenes have become famous for their frankness and acrobatic portrayals (they took 12 days to film), but amazingly enough, it’s never prurient. The nature of their sexual relationship, and not the sex itself, is the point. Chi falls in love with the man she’s supposed to kill, but there is no stopping the mission and she knows it. The danger of it all collapsing for them both is ever present, and that’s the Caution. The cinematography and direction in Lust, Caution is masterful, and every scene is beautiful. The film does drift into a languid pace, and at times one wonders why Lee would feel the need to draw it out at the expense of delaying the crucial climactic scenes. Still, it’s a wonderful piece of storytelling that should only help solidify Ang Lee’s place in cinematic history as a master of films that express the difficulty of being essentially human in an inhumane world. –Daniel Vancini
