My goal as a teacher of Tantra and as a sacred sex educator is primarily to help people come back to their innate, inbuilt sense of knowing; to help you uncover the wisdom about love and sex that your bodies, hearts and souls already have. This is actually not hard to do at all. It’s usually a very exciting life affirming, and sweet process. We just have to slow down a bit & enjoy the ride…

Tantra leads to better sex and more intimacy, but also it’s a way to find a deeper connection with your own inner essence. It’s a spiritual journey of opening to the divine. Learning about love is an adventure that’s probably one of the most exciting, rewarding, and worthwhile experiences on Earth! I’m so glad you decided to join me on this wonderful journey of discovery. You won’t regret it!

"Kelsie’s heart was racing, head was racing with the feeling coursing through her body."

“Now arch your back towards the ceiling as you exhale. Relax the neck, letting your head drift downwards.”

Cat pose, Kelsie thought. Her hands and knees pressed gently into her purple yoga mat as she dutifully raised her head towards the ceiling with her next breath, rotating her hips and bending her graceful belly towards the floor. Cow pose.

Greg the yoga instructor walked barefoot among the 12 mats in the small studio, now warm with the exertions of his students. “Now let’s push back into child’s pose and rest.” Kelsie could see his shoulder-length dark hair come to touch his shoulders and loose tank-top shirt as he bent forward to help a student settle into the resting pose. After almost a year of his beginner’s level classes, Kelsie didn’t need to look up to locate him in the dimly lit studio. She could place him by the soft pad of his feet on the wood floor, or the slow exhale of a student whom he had helped fall deeper into a pose. “Now, when you feel ready, slowly roll your body up to a seated position. Hands together in front of your chest.”

Kelsie, now seated like the rest of the class to face Greg, pressed her palms together between her breasts, as if to pray. “Namaste,” said Greg. The class responded in kind.

The students began their usual sleepy slow chatter after class as they left in ones and twos. Kelsie lingered behind, taking more than necessary time to roll up her mat. As the second-to-last student walked out of the studio door, Greg collected the remaining straps and foam blocks. “How did you enjoy today’s class, Kelsie?” he asked, bending to pick up a block.

“It was wonderful, Greg. Very relaxing.” She swung her mat bag over her shoulder neatly. Her long brown hair was swept back into a similarly neat pony-tail. Her pale gold yoga tank matched her beige stretch yoga pants and made her deeply green eyes more dramatic. Though her features and grace conspired to beauty, Kelsie’s modesty and quiet demeanor caused most men to balk and seek easier prey. In her 28 years there had been one or two serious lovers, but their earnestness had faded. “But Greg,” but how do I say this? “I’ve been coming to your class for a while, and I feel I have…progressed…”

“You feel as though you aren’t being challenged?” Greg stood up, finishing her thought.

She checked his face for signs that he had taken offence. There were none in that shy smile. He had replaced his thick-rimmed, squarish eyeglasses and pulled his hair back into a short pony-tail. He really is quite attractive. “I guess that’s it. I don’t want to change classes or anything.” Her plump lips pressed together slightly. I just know there’s something more I’m missing.

“I think I know what you mean,” said Greg. “I can see it in your body. You need something more than my class can give you.” He slipped his muscled arm around her shoulder as they walked out together. “I went through the same stage before I decided to become a certified instructor.” Kelsie helpfully turned out the studio lights, and Greg locked the door behind them. It was nearing dusk as they walked to their parked cars. Kelsie had parked her Mazda next to his Jeep. “Why don’t you give me your email? I think I know someone that can help you.”

She rummaged in the center console of her car for pen and paper. “See you next week,” Greg said when she had given him the slip of paper. He held her hand briefly with both of his before walking around to the driver’s side of his 4×4.

“See you,” Kelsie replied.

On the drive home, Kelsie felt a strange excitement. For what? she wondered. He probably has a girlfriend, and I’ll probably have to leave his class to find what I’m looking for. But what am I looking for? At home she showered, ate a quick Lean Cuisine, checked the news and went to bed.

After a tiresome meeting at work the next afternoon, Kelsie checked her email. She had forgotten that Greg was going to contact her, until she saw the message in her inbox. It was from YogaGreg32:

“Kelsie,

I spent last night thinking about what you said regarding your progress in my class. I took the liberty of setting up a private instruction session with one of my colleagues. Her name is Keiley Raam. She specializes in challenging the body and spirit, and would be happy to guide you. She is in town this Friday, is 6pm at the studio OK?

Kelsie, I hope you will meet with her. I think she can help you. I’ll leave the studio key under the mat.

-Greg”

Kelsie felt a flutter of excitement that Greg had responded to her so quickly. She fantasized briefly that he had stayed up all night, thinking about Kelsie in various yoga positions, her auburn hair flowing down her shoulders. She snapped to herself again. You’re at work! she chided. Save silly thoughts for home. She wrote him a quick reply saying she would be there, Friday at 6pm. A specialist in challenging the body and spirit? The days until then could not come quick enough to sate her curiosity.

After work that Friday, she went home to shower before heading over to the studio, something she had never previously done. Why do I want to shower? she thought. I’m just going to get all sweaty again. She chose for this session a loose-fitting white t-shirt, and the same comfortable beige yoga pants. They fit snugly on her buttocks as she pulled them on. She felt clean. Wonder what this Keiley has in store?

When she arrived at the studio just before six, she could see a dim light through the sheer curtained window whose source was not the usual studio ceiling lights. I guess Keiley wanted to set up before I got here she thought. She walked through the unlocked door of the studio.

The source of the light was eight or nine glowing candles, whose flames illuminated the sultry green smoke from a small incense burner. Keiley Raam was seated on the bare wood floor of the clean studio, eyes closed, hands pressed together between medium breasts. Her eyes opened slowly at the sound of Kelsie entering the room.

“Oh, hi,” Kelsie said nervously. “I’m Kelsie. You must be Keiley. Should I just put my mat down anywhere? Thanks for doing this,” she didn’t know what this was, but it seemed the polite thing to say.

Keiley rose serenely to her feet, and Kelsie got the full visual impact of stunning exotic beauty. Keiley was taller, of slim build, and in the dim light Kelsie could see her jet black hair and supple bronze skin. She was wearing a simple flowing sheer dress, which seemed to simultaneously draw the candlelight to itself while emanating a subtle glow. She’s beautiful Kelsie thought. She felt the moment of hesitation a moth feels before giving in completely to the irresistible brightness of a flickering candle flame.

“It’s so nice to meet you.” Keiley came near to Kelsie and hugged her in greeting, hugged her as a dear friend. Kelsie felt the mounds of her breasts through the sheer of her dress. Her scent was the sweet and tang of the incense, multiplied. “Greg told me about your situation. Please, place your mat there in the middle of the floor.” Kelsie removed her mat and unfurled it. The studio would have felt quite empty, were it not for the comfortable glow of candles, and the present warmth of Keiley. “He told me that your body and spirit are ready for the kind of instruction I provide.”

Kelsie sat down in half-lotus on her mat. Her voice was softer than she had expected when she replied, “Well, I don’t know…exactly what…Greg said you provide private sessions and were in town. He said you would be happy to guide me in my yoga practice.” Keiley sat down in full lotus across from Kelsie. She leaned forward from the hips towards Kelsie, grasped her hands gently.

“Are you open to experiencing new heights of satisfaction?” Keiley whispered.

Kelsie felt the tingling warmth from Keiley’s touch. She thought of Greg’s shy smile, of how it felt for him to lay his hands on her when he helped her discover the depths of a pose, felt the trust that had built between them over the course of a year. “Yes,” she whispered in answer.

“Let’s begin. Lie down on your back,” Keiley said. “Close your eyes. Let your arms and legs relax towards the floor. Allow your breath to become deep and even. Inhale, filling the lungs with breath, and exhale, relaxing the whole body from head to toe.”

Kelsie enjoyed the calm whisper of Keiley’s voice. She enjoyed the deep, regular breathing she was experiencing with Keiley’s instruction. This is wonderful she thought.

“Let’s move into a Sun Salutation now.” Kelsie followed Keiley’s voice as it circled slowly around her, regular as her breathing. The incense wafted in the wake of Keiley’s pale dress as she touched Keiley, adjusting her poses. A soft touch here, gentle pressure there. Kelsey flowed through each pose as fluid as candle wax. “Now come to a standing position, with eyes closed.”

Kelsie felt the presence of Keiley, very close. She kept her eyes closed when she felt Keiley’s finger tips on the thin stripe of exposed flesh between her t-shirt and her yoga pants. Her breath quickened as she felt those fingers slide under the edge of the t-shirt and begin to rise. Her arms rose as Keiley lifted Kelsie’s shirt up and over her head, exposing her bare breasts and pink, rosy nipples.

Kelsie continued to breath deeply with eyes flutteringly closed as Keiley undressed her. She loosened, then finally undid her pony-tail, still moist from the shower. Her damp hair settled around her bare, slowly rising and falling shoulders. Keiley removed her yoga pants, and finally, her panties.

“Continue your rhythmic breathing, deeply inhaling, exhaling completely.” The soft sound of a sheer dress dropping to the floor behind her.

At the shushing sound of silk on silk, Kelsie felt an internal quake. It was as if her spirit had walked out of her body, circled once round the two still, electric forms in the studio, and, having absorbed the essence of sweat and smoke and light, returned to her body. One mental shiver, and she knew that this was what she had been seeking. The practice of yoga made intimate by a physical-spiritual connection. She committed herself to the teaching she would receive. This is my enlightenment.

Keiley led her body through the same sequence of poses as before, the Sun Salutation, Kelsie willingly following the instruction delivered to her by that gentle voice, that soft touch.

“Now exhale, raising your hips to the sky. Deepen your breath in downward dog pose.” Kelsie carefully thrust her buttocks up so that her body made a triangle with the ground. “Feel the warmth of your body travel along your straight back, culminating in your root chakra.” Keiley bent to touch the back of Kelsie’s neck, running her fingers along her back to the base of her spine. Then Keiley moved behind Kelsie, stood behind her and grasped her hips. Kelsie felt her hips and buttocks pulled hard against Keiley’s naked stomach. She tried to focus on her breathing, but she could feel herself open up inside. She could feel her pink wetness rubbing on Keiley. Kelsie let out a moan of pleasure and Keiley continued to draw her hips back with one hand. She slowly licked the first and second finger of the other and, drawing them up Kelsie’s thigh towards her buttocks, slipped her index finger into Kelsie. It went in easy thought Kelsie. She let out soft moans as Keiley worked the finger gently, rubbing and stroking. Kelsie’s body glistened with sweat and quivered as Keiley’s second finger swept neatly into her pussy. “Ohh,” she gasped. Keiley continued to work her fingers in the wetness, reaching her other hand around to find Kelsie’s clit. It feels so good thought Kelsie as the area from her anus to her clit pulsed with heat. She moaned freely, rocking with Keiley, against Keiley’s hands, her hands working, stroking, fingering.

Keiley slowly removed her fingers from Kelsie. Kelsie felt her gently touch the cups of her knees, and she instinctively knew that she should bend down to all fours.

“Good. Now arch your back towards the ceiling, as you exhale. Relax the neck, letting your head drift downwards.”

Cat pose. Kelsie’s heart was racing, head was racing with the feeling coursing through her body. With her eyes closed, she could sense that Kelsie had moved to stand at the head of her mat.

“Now roll your belly towards the floor, arch your head back, and open your mouth.”

Kelsie’s nipples were as hard as her clit as she opened her eyes.

Keiley was standing in front of Kelsie, holding open her labia to expose her blue-pink clit. “Open your mouth,” she whispered.

Kelsie did as she was told. The blue-pink was wet and hot in her mouth. She ran her tongue luxuriously over the lips of her instructor’s pussy. She seemed to know where her instructor wanted the tongue; now on the tip of the clit, flicking; now plunged deep into the wet. Keiley rolled her head back, fingers caressing her own nipples, brown like olive pits. Kelsie lapped obediently while her body pulsed with urgent heat.

Kelsie felt herself brought onto her back, knees bent just slightly, legs gently open. Keiley lithely straddled Kelsie now, her body close, grinding her lightly haired muff on Kelsie’s clit. Grinding and grinding, she rotated her hips so that her own clit was exposed and rubbing now on Kelsie’s. She would lift the pressure briefly, then sink back down to make their clits touch. Oh my god Kelsie thought. I’m going to cum! Kelsie arched her back, breasts spilling outward into Keiley’s open hands as their clits rubbed wetly, Kelsie’s own shivering with orgasm. She came and came and came. From the top of her head, to her cherry-hard nipples, from her pointed toes to her swollen pink cunt she came.

After a few moments Keiley lifted her dark form from Kelsie and gently helped her rest her arms and legs on the mat. Several minutes passed before Kelsie’s breathing became slow and deep. Eventually she rolled her body to a seated position. She knew what to do. Pressing her palms together between her breasts, like a prayer, she said, “Namaste.” Keiley repeated the incantation, kissed Kelsie gently on the lips, dressed and left the studio.

Kelsie did not show up at Greg’s regularly scheduled yoga session that week. Instead, 30 minutes after the last student had left his beginner’s class, Greg looked up from his private yoga practice to see a woman enter the studio. It was Kelsie. Greg brushed a lock of dark hair behind his ear and smiled knowingly as he asked, “did you enjoy your private session?”

In my opinion, the best way to follow me here, is also the way I want you to approach sex: Relax, don’t think too much! Just feel, sense and breathe. Let my words sink into that deeper part of you that knows intuitively how to use what I’m saying for the most pleasure, the greatest joy and your highest good.

When we relax deeply enough, when we drop inward into who we truly are, we will experience our inherent well being and power. Without having to do anything to get there, when we allow space and silence, we will feel the benevolent, joyful, loving nature of the universe.

Sex is a great way to help us relax into that effortless natural state and so is meditation. Both paths are equally valid. These postings are about the first path, about learning how to allow our sexual nature to take us to the divine.

16. Blessed one, as senses are absorbed in the heart, reach the center of the lotus. The fourth meth

16. Blessed one, as senses are absorbed in the heart, reach the center of the lotus.

The fourth method is for those who have a very developed heart, who are loving, feeling types, emotional. Blessed one, as senses are absorbed in the heart, reach the center of the lotus. This method can be used only by heart-oriented persons. Therefore, understand first what is a heart-oriented person. Then this method can be understood.

With one who is heart-oriented, everything leads to the heart, everything. If you love him, his heart will feel your love, not his head. A head-oriented person, even when loved, feels it cerebrally, in the head. He thinks about it; he plans about it. Even his love is a deliberate effort of the mind.

A feeling type lives without reasoning. Of course, the heart has its own reasons, but it lives without reasoning

If someone asks you, “Why do you love?” if you can answer why, then you are a head-oriented person. And if you say, “I do not know, I just love,” you are a heart-oriented person.

Even if you say that someone is beautiful and that is why you love, it is a reason. For a heart-oriented person, someone is beautiful because they love him. The head-oriented person loves someone because he is beautiful or she is beautiful. The reason comes first, and then comes love. For the heart-oriented, love comes first and then everything else follows. The feeling type is centered in the heart, so whatsoever happens touches his heart.

17. Unminding mind, keep in the middle — until.

Only this much is the sutra. Just like any scientific sutra it is short, but even these few words can transform your life totally. Unminding mind, keep in the middle — until.

Keep in the middle… Buddha developed his whole technique of meditation on this sutra. His path is known as MAJJHIM NIKAYA – the middle path. Buddha says, “Remain always in the middle — in everything.”

The mind moves from one extreme to another, that is the way of the mind. So it happens every day: a person who was mad after wealth renounces everything, becomes a naked fakir. We think, “What a miracle!” But it is nothing — just the ordinary law. A person who was not mad after wealth cannot be expected to renounce, because only from one extreme can you move to another — just like a pendulum, from one extreme to the other.

So a person who was after wealth, mad after wealth, will become mad against it, but the madness will remain — that is the mind. A man who lived just for sex may become a celibate, may move into isolation, but the madness will remain. Before he was living only for sex, now he will be living only against sex — but the attitude, the approach, remains the same.

18. Look lovingly at some object. do not go to another object. here in the middle of the object — the blessing.

I should repeat it: Look lovingly at some object. do not go to another . Do not move to another object. here in the middle of the object — the blessing.

Look lovingly at some object.… lovingly is the key. Have you ever looked lovingly at any object? You may say yes because you do not know what it means to look lovingly at an object. You may have looked lustfully at an object — that is another thing. That is totally different, diametrically opposite. So first, the difference; try to feel the difference.

A beautiful face, a beautiful body — you look at it, and you feel that you are looking at it lovingly. But why are you looking at it? Do you want to get something out of it? Then it is lust, not love. Do you want to exploit it? Then it is lust, not love. Then really, you are thinking of how to use this body, how to possess it, how to make this body an instrument for your happiness.

Lust means how to use something for your happiness; love means your happiness is not at all concerned. Really, lust means how to get something out of it and love means how to give something. They are diametrically opposite.

If you see a beautiful face and you feel love toward the face, the immediate feeling in your consciousness will be how to do something to make this face happy, how to do something to make this man or this woman happy. The concern is not with yourself, the concern is with the other.

 19. Without support for feet or hands, sit only on the buttocks. suddenly, the centering.

This technique has been used by Taoists in China for centuries, and it is a wonderful technique — one of the easiest. Try this: Without support for feet or hands, sit only on the buttocks. suddenly, the centering.

What is to be done? You will need two things. First, a very sensitive body, which you do not have. You have a dead body; it is just a burden to be carried — not sensitive. First you will have to make your body sensitive; otherwise this technique will not work. So first I will tell you something about how to make your body sensitive, and particularly your buttocks, because ordinarily your buttocks are the most insensitive part in your body. They have to be. They have to be because you are sitting the whole day on your buttocks. If they are too sensitive, it will be difficult.

So your buttocks are insensitive — they need to be. Just like the soles of the feet, they are insensitive. Continuously sitting on them, you never feel you are sitting on your buttocks. Have you ever felt it before this? Now you can feel you are sitting on your buttocks, but you have never felt it before – and you have been sitting on your buttocks your whole life, never aware. Their function is such that they cannot be very sensitive.

20. In a moving vehicle, by rhythmically swaying, experience. or in a still vehicle, by letting yourself swing in slowing invisible circles.

It is the same in a different way. In a moving vehicle… You are traveling in a train or in a bullock cart — when this technique was developed there was only the bullock cart. You are moving in a bullock cart on an Indian road — even today the road is the same. But when you are moving, your whole body is moving. Then it is useless.

In a moving vehicle, by rhythmically swaying.. Sway rhythmically. Try to understand; this is very minute. Whenever you are in a bullock cart or in any vehicle, you are resisting. The bullock cart sways to the left, but you resist it. You sway to the right in order to balance; otherwise you will fall down. So you are constantly resisting. Sitting in a bullock cart, you are fighting its movements. It moves to this side, and you have to move to that.

That is why when sitting in a train you become tired. You have not been doing anything. Why do you become so tired? You have been doing much unknowingly. You were fighting the train continuously; there was resistance. Do not resist — this is the first thing. If you want to do this technique, do not resist. Rather, move with the movements, sway with the movements. Become part of the bullock cart, do not resist it. Whatsoever the bullock cart is doing on the road, become part of it. That is why children are never tired of journeying.

11. Stop the doors of the senses when feeling the creeping of an ant.Then.

This looks very simple, but it is not so simple. I will read it again: Stop the doors of the senses when feeling the creeping of an ant. Then. This is only an example; anything will do. Stop the doors of the senses when feeling the creeping of an ant. and then — Then the thing will happen. What is Shiva saying? You have a thorn in your foot — it is painful, you are suffering. Or one ant is there creeping on your leg. You feel the creeping and suddenly you want it to be thrown away. Take any experience! You have a wound — it is painful. You have a headache, or any pain in the body. Anything will do as an object. It is only an example — the CREEPING OF AN ANT.

Shiva says: Stop the doors of the senses when feeling the creeping of an ant.. Whatsoever you are feeling, stop all the doors of the senses. What is to be done? Close your eyes and think that you are just blind and you cannot see. Close your ears and think that you cannot hear. With all of the five senses, you just close them. How can you close them? It is easy. Stop breathing for a single moment: all your senses will be closed. When the breath has stopped and all the senses are closed, where is this creeping? Where is the ant? Suddenly you are removed far away.

All these sutras are concerned with how to achieve the inner center. The basic mechanism used, the basic technique used is, if you can create a center outside — anywhere: in the mind, in the heart, or even outside on a wall — and if you concentrate totally on it and you bracket out the whole world, you forget the whole world and only one point remains in your consciousness, suddenly you will be thrown to your inner center. How does it work? First understand this… Your mind is just a vagabond, a wandering. It is never at one point. It is always going, moving, reaching, but never at any point. It goes from one thought to another, from A to B. But it is never at the A; it is never at the B. It is always on the move. Remember this: mind is always on the move, hoping to reach somewhere but never reaching. It cannot reach! The very structure of the mind is movement. It can only move; that is the inherent nature of the mind. The very process is movement — from A to B, from B to C… it goes on and on. If you stop at A or B or any point, the mind will fight with you. The mind will say, “Move on,” because if you stop the mind dies immediately. It can be alive only in movement.

12. When on a bed or a seat, let yourself become weightless, beyond mind.

You are sitting here. Just feel that you have become weightless, there is no weight. You will feel that somewhere or other there is weight, but go on feeling the weightlessness. It comes. A moment comes when you feel that you are weightless, that there is no weight. When there is no weight you are no more a body, because the weight is of the body — not of you. You are weightless. That is why there were so many experiments done. Someone is dying… many scientists all over the world have tried to weigh the person.

If there is a slight difference, if when a man is alive the weight is more and when a man is dead the weight is less, then scientists can say that something has moved from the body, that a soul or the self or something that was there is no more — because for science nothing can be weightless, nothing! Weight is basic to all matter

13. Imagine the five-colored circles of the peacock tail to be your five senses in illimitable space. Now let their beauty melt within. Similarly, at any point in space or on a wall — until the point dissolves. Then your wish for another comes true.

14. Place your whole attention in the nerve, delicate as the lotus thread, in the center of your spinal column. in such be transformed.

For this sutra, for this technique of meditation, one has to close his eyes and visualize his spinal column, his backbone. It is good to look up in some physiology book the structure of the body, or to go to some medical college or hospital and look at the structure of the body. Then close your eyes and visualize your backbone. Let the backbone be straight, erect. Visualize it, see it, and just in the middle of it visualize a nerve, delicate as the lotus thread, running in the center of your spinal column.

IN SUCH BE TRANSFORMED. If you can, concentrate on the spinal column, and then on a thread in the middle of it -on a very delicate nerve like a lotus thread running through it. Concentrate on it, and this very concentration throws you to your center. Why? The spinal column is the base of your whole body structure. Everything is joined to it. Really, your brain is nothing but one pole of your spinal column. Physiologists say it is nothing but a spinal column growth; your brain is really a growth of your spinal column. Your spine is connected with your whole body — everything is connected to it. That is why it is called the spine, the base.

15. Closing the seven openings of the head with your hands, a space between your eyes becomes all inclusive.

This is one of the oldest techniques — very much used, and one of the simplest also. Close all the openings of the head — eyes, ears, nose, mouth. When all the openings of the head are closed, your consciousness, which is continuously flowing out, is stopped suddenly: it cannot move out.

You may not have observed, but even if you stop your breathing for a moment, suddenly your mind will stop — because with breathing mind moves on. That is a conditioning with the mind. You must understand what `conditioning’ means, then only will this sutra be easy to understand.

Pavlov, one of the most famous Russian psychologists, has created this term “conditioning” — or “conditioned reflex” a day-to-day word used all over the world. Everyone who is acquainted with psychology even a little knows the word. Two processes of thought — any two processes — can become so associated that if you start with one, the other is also triggered.

One, you must be able to feel the prana in breath — the intangible part of it, the invisible part of it, the immaterial part of it. It comes if you are attentive between the two eyebrows; then it comes easily. If you are attentive in the gap, then too it comes, but a little less easily. If you are aware of the center at your navel where breath comes and touches and goes out, it also comes, but with less ease. The easiest way to know the invisible part of breath is to be centered at the third eye. But wherever you are centered, it comes, you begin to feel the prana flowing in. If you can feel the prana flowing in you, you can know when you are going to die. Six months before the day of your death you begin to know, if you can feel the invisible part of breath.

8. With utmost devotion, center on the two junctions of breathand know the knower.

There is a slight difference in the techniques – slight modifications. But though the differences are slight in the techniques, for you they may be great. A single word makes a great difference. With utmost devotion, center on the two junctions of breath . The incoming breath has one junction where it turns, the outgoing breath has another junction where it turns. With these two turnings — and we have discussed these turnings — a slight difference is made: that is, slight in the technique, but for the seeker it may be great. Only one condition is added –With utmost devotion, – and the whole technique becomes different. In the first form of it there was no question of devotion, just a scientific technique. You do it, and it works. But there are persons who cannot do such dry, scientific techniques. Those who are heart-oriented, those who belong to the world of devotion, for them a slight difference has been made: With utmost devotion, center on the two junctions of breath and know the knower.

9. Lie down as dead.Enraged in wrath, stay so.Or stare without moving an eyelash.Or suck something and become the sucking.

Try it: suddenly you have gone dead. Leave the body! Do not move it, because you are dead. Just imagine that you are dead. You cannot move the body, you cannot move the eyes, you cannot cry, you cannot scream, you cannot do anything, you are just dead. And then feel how it feels. But do not deceive. You can deceive you can slightly move the body. Do not move. If some mosquito is there, then treat the body as if it is dead.

It is one of the most used techniques. Raman Maharshi attained his enlightenment through this technique, but it was not a technique used by him in his life. In his life it suddenly happened, spontaneously. But he must have persisted with this in some past life, because nothing happens spontaneously. Everything has a causal link, a causality. Suddenly one night Raman felt — he was just young, fourteen or fifteen at the time — that he was going to die. And it was so certain in his mind that death had taken over. He couldn’t move his body, he felt as if he was paralyzed. Then he felt a sudden choking, and he knew that now the heart was going to stop.

10. While being caressed, Sweet Princess, enter the caress as everlasting life.

Shiva starts with love. The first technique is concerned with love, because love is the nearest thing in your experience in which you are relaxed. If you cannot love, it is impossible for you to relax. If you can relax, your life will become a loving life. A tense man cannot love. Why? A tense man always lives with purposes. He can earn money, but he cannot love because love is purposeless.

Love is not a commodity. You cannot accumulate it; you cannot make a bank balance of it; you cannot strengthen your ego out of it. Really, love is the most absurd act, with no meaning beyond it, no purpose beyond it. It exists in itself, not for anything else. You earn money FOR something — it is a means. You build a house for someone to live in — it is a means. Love is not a means. Why do you love? For what do you love?

Love is the end in itself. That is why a mind that is calculative, logical, a mind that thinks in terms of purpose, cannot love. And the mind that always thinks in terms of purpose will be tense, because purpose can only be fulfilled in the future, never here and now. You are building a house — you cannot live in it just now, you will have to build it first. You can live in it in the future, not now. You earn money — the bank balance will be created in the future, not now. Means you will have to use now, and ends will come in the future. Love is always here; there is no future to it.

When you are reading my daily posts, you may be touched in ways that make you feel things. You may possibly feel sad, vulnerable or even a little upset. Please allow for that, it means that deep layers of your being are getting activated, movement is happening! Welcome it, for a lot of power and joy are hidden in these places of discomfort. Let yourself feel, that’s how new & beautiful things emerge…
I will be painting the picture of what’s possible & in moments it may feel like that’s far away from where you are. That doesn’t mean that wherever you are is wrong. You are a beautiful being on an exciting journey, exactly where you need to be right now, in no way deficient. All is well. I am here to take you in the direction of more love, joy and pleasure, no matter where you’ve been or whether you’re 18 or 80.

I’ve come to notice that some very important building blocks, insights and practices are missing from many of the currently available sacred sex teachings. These contemporary adaptations of the ancient Tantric and Taoist teachings and other spiritual sex practices don’t’ always give the full picture and has lead to much misunderstanding and many dead ends for people. I am here to change that…

Šajā brīdī man pietrūkst Mashas.

Vēl man patika uzdod Mašai visādus dauniskus jautājums.
Varētu teikt, ka mums bija attiecības.
Profesionālas un darba.

Vislabāk viņa mācēja palīdzēt, kad es nevarēju uzzīmēt dizainu.

- Maaa-shaaaa!!! Aaaat-naaac! Eees nevaruuu uuzziimeet!

1. Radiant One: That is the technique: Radiant one, this experience may dawn between two breaths. After breath comes in — that is, down — and just before turning out — that is, going up the beneficence

Be aware between these two points, and the happening. When your breath comes in, observe. For a single moment, or a thousandth part of a moment, there is no breathing — before it turns up, before it turns outward. One breath comes in; then there is a certain point and breathing stops. Then the breathing goes out. When the breath goes out, then again for a single moment, or a part of a moment, breathing stops. Then breathing comes in. Before the breath is turning in or turning out, there is a moment when you are not breathing. In that moment the happening is possible, because when you are not breathing you are not in the world.

.
2. As breath turns from down to up, and again as breath curves up to down -through both these turns, realize.

It is the same, but with a slight difference. The emphasis is now not on the gap, but on the turning. The outgoing and ingoing breath make a circle. Remember, these are not two parallel lines. We always think of them as two parallel lines — breath going in and breath going out. Do you think that these are two parallel lines? They are not. Breath going in is half the circle; breath going out is the other half of the circle.

So understand this: first, breathing in and out creates a circle. They are not parallel lines, because parallel lines never meet anywhere. Secondly, the breath coming in and the breath going out are not two breaths, they are one breath. The same breath which comes in, goes out, so it must have a turn inside. It must turn somewhere. There must be a point where the incoming breath becomes outgoing. Why put such emphasis upon turning?

3. whenever in-breath and out-breath fuse, at this instant touch the energy-less,energy-filled center.

We are divided into the center and the periphery. The body is the periphery; we know the body, we know the periphery. We know the circumference, but we do not know where the center is. When the out-breath fuses with the in-breath, when they become one, when you cannot say whether it is the out-breath or the in-breath… when it is difficult to demarcate and define whether the breath is going out or coming in, when the breath has penetrated in and starts moving out, there is a moment of fusion. It is neither going out nor moving in.

4. when breath is all out (up) and stopped of itself, or all in (down) and stopped -in such universal pause, one’s small self vanishes. This is difficult only for the impure.

But then it is difficult for everyone because, he says, this is difficult only for the impure.. But who is the pure one? It is difficult for you; you cannot practice it. But you can feel it sometimes suddenly. You are driving a car and suddenly you feel there is going to be an accident. Breathing will stop. If it is out, it will remain out. If it is in, it will remain in. You cannot breathe in such an emergency; you cannot afford it. Everything stops, departs. Or, when breath is all out (up) and stopped of itself, or all in (down) and stopped — in such universal pause, one’s small self vanishes. Your small self is only a daily utility. In emergencies you cannot remember it. Who you are — the name, the bank balance, the prestige, everything — just evaporates. Your car is just heading toward another car; another moment and there will be death. In this moment there will be a pause. Even for the impure there will be a pause. Suddenly breathing stops. If you can be aware in that moment, you can reach the goal.

5. Attention between eyebrows, let mind be before thought. let form fill with breath essence to the top of the head and there shower as light.

This is one of the simplest methods of being attentive. You cannot be attentive to any other part of the body so easily. This gland absorbs attention like anything. If you give attention to it, both your eyes become hypnotized with the third eye. They become fixed; they cannot move. If you are trying to be attentive to any other part of the body it is difficult. This third eye catches attention, forces attention; It is magnetic for attention. So all the methods all over the world have used it. It is the simplest to train you in attention because not only are you trying to be attentive, the gland itself helps you; it is magnetic.

Your attention is brought to it forcibly. It is absorbed. It is said in the old tantra scriptures that for the third eye attention is food. It is hungry; it has been hungry for lives and lives. If you pay attention to it, it becomes alive. It becomes alive! The food is given to it. And once you know that attention is food, once you feel that your attention is magnetically drawn, attracted, pulled by the gland itself, attention is not a difficult thing then. One has only to know the right point. So just close your eyes, let your two eyes move just to the middle, and feel the point. When you are near the point, suddenly your eyes will become fixed. When it becomes difficult to move them, then know you have caught the right point. attention between the eyebrows, let mind be before thought… If this attention is there, for the first time you will come to experience a strange phenomenon. For the first time you will see thoughts running before you; you will become the witness.

6.When in worldly activities, keep attention between two breaths, and so practicing, in a few days be born anew.

Forget breaths — keep attentive in between. One breath has come: before it returns, before it is exhaled out, there is the gap, the interval. One breath has gone out; before it is taken in again, the gap. i.n worldly activity, keep attentive between the two breaths, and so practicing, in a few days, be born anew. But this has to be done continuously. This sixth technique has to be done continuously. That is why this is mentioned: When in worldly activity… Whatsoever you are doing, keep your attention in the gap between the two breaths. But it must be practiced while in activity.

We have discussed one technique that is just similar. Now there is only this difference, that this has to be practiced while in worldly activity. Do not practice it in isolation. This practice is to be done while you are doing something else. You are eating — go on eating and be attentive of the gap. You are walking — go on walking and be attentive of the gap. You are going to sleep — lie down, let sleep come, but you go on being attentive of the gap. Why in activity? Because activity distracts the mind, activity calls for your attention again and again. Do not be distracted, be fixed at the gap. And do not stop activity, let the activity continue.

A very interesting and comprehensive paragraph which summarizes the view of esoteric Buddhism from the Indo-Tibetan tradition. It shows the differences to the modern, materialistic and scientific world-view, but it strokes some chords to our feel of being in and within and part of the larger world….from Secret of the Vajra World, by Reginald A. Ray (p.378)

But even in the case of a direct tülku, we should not make the assumption of a single “self” that is reborn over and over. In some cases a direct tülku might, in his next birth, split into five separate incarnations representing his body, speech, mind, quality, and action. This was, for example, the case with Jamgön Kongtrül the Great, the renowned Rri-me scholar of the nineteenth century. Subsequent to the death of this master, five incarnations were anticipated, and several of these were identified, each becoming the source of a subsequent line of tülkus. In cases such as these, each of the 5 tülkus is understood to have a “direct” link to the previous incarnation, as reincarnations of his ’santana’, or life stream, but in five separate forms. Trungpa Rinpoche once remarked that, again, for modern Westerners, such a notion would be difficult to accept owing to our belief in the reality, unity and solidy of our “self.” In fact, Rinpoche said, we are composed of enlightened energies that are held together and maintained in a unitary stream only because of the strength of our belief in an “I.” Once this is removed, many more things become possible.

All these techniques of Shiva’s are simply turning the mind from the future or the past to the

All these techniques of Shiva’s are simply turning the mind from the future or the past to the present.

That which you are seeking is already there, it is the case already. The mind has to be turned from seeking to non-seeking. It is difficult. If you think about it intellectually it is very difficult. How to turn the mind from seeking to non-seeking? — because then the mind makes non-seeking itself the object! Then the mind says, “Don’t seek.” Then the mind says, “I should not seek.” Then the mind says, “Now non-seeking is my object. Now I desire the state of desirelessness.” The seeking has entered again, the desire has come again through the back door. That is why there are people who are seeking worldly objects, and there are people who think they are seeking non-worldly objects.

All objects are worldly because “seeking” is the world. So you cannot seek anything non-worldly. The moment you seek, it becomes the world. If you are seeking God, your God is part of the world. If you are seeking MOKSHA — liberation — NIRVANA, your liberation is part of the world, your liberation is not something that transcends the world, because seeking is the world, desiring is the world. So you cannot desire nirvana, you cannot desire non-desire. If you try to understand intellectually, it will become a puzzle. Shiva says nothing about it, he immediately proceeds to give techniques. They are non-intellectual.

He doesn’t say to Devi, “The truth is here. Don’t seek it and you will find it.” He immediately gives techniques. Those techniques are non-intellectual. Do them, and the mind turns. The turning is just a consequence, just a by-product — not an object. The turning is just a by-product. If you do a technique, your mind will turn from its journey into the future or the past. Suddenly you will find yourself in the present. That is why Buddha has given techniques, Lao Tzu has given techniques, Krishna has given techniques. But they always introduce their techniques with intellectual concepts.

Only Shiva is different.

He immediately gives techniques, and no intellectual understanding, no intellectual introduction, because he knows that the mind is tricky, the most cunning thing possible. It can turn anything into a problem. Non-seeking will become the problem. There are people who come to me who ask how not to desire. They are desiring non-desire. Somebody has told them, or they have read somewhere, or they have heard spiritual gossip, that if you do not desire you will reach bliss, if you do not desire you will be free, if you do not desire there will be no suffering. Now their minds hanker to attain that state where there is no suffering, so they ask how not to desire. Their minds are playing tricks.

They are still desiring, it is only that now the object has changed. They were desiring money, they were desiring fame, they were desiring prestige, they were desiring power. Now they are desiring non-desire. Only the object has changed, and they remain the same and their desiring remains the same. But now the desire has become more deceptive. Because of this, Shiva proceeds immediately with no introduction whatsoever. He immediately starts talking about techniques. Those techniques, if followed, suddenly turn your mind: it comes to the present. And when the mind comes to the present it stops, it is no more. You cannot be a mind in the present, that is impossible. Just now, if you are here and now, how can you be a mind? Thoughts cease because they cannot move.

The present has no space in which to move; you cannot think. If you are in this very moment, how can you move? Mind stops, you attain to no-mind. So the real thing is how to be here and now. You can try, but effort may prove futile — because if you make it a point to be in the present, then this point has moved into the future. When you ask how to be in the present, again you are asking about the future. This moment is passing in the inquiry, “How to be present? How to be here and now?” This present moment is passing in the inquiry, and your mind will begin to weave and create dreams in the future: some day you will be in a state of mind where there is no movement, no motive, no seeking, and then there will be bliss — so how to be in the present?

Shiva doesn’t say anything about it, he simply gives a technique. You do it, and suddenly you find you are here and now. And your being here and now is the truth, and your being here and now is the freedom, and your being here and now is the nirvana.

Welcome to the world of Aghoris! and wish you all the best for the journey ahead. This could be the most thrilling experience of your life. Who knows, might be worse. This is the advice I provide when i talk about Svobotha books. Thought he is fantastic (I mean his books) in many ways. Yes, we are talking about, the famous writer, Dr. Robert E. Svobotha. His books are enthralling. especially the Aghora Series. The series has 3 titles:

Aghora – 1 – At the left hand of God

Aghora – 2 – Kundalini

Aghora – 3 – The law of karma

You start with the first one, and I bet, it will give you a shock of the lifetime. If you do not belong to the group, who have spent some time out of busy lives, to dig more about Mysticism, Ascetism, or Spirituality. The books narrate the story of Vimalananda – the Master and his daredevil spiritual stunts and bold discussions. A journey to dark realms. If you are interested in Tantra, or Aghora, then, you got to read these, before you proceed further. The experiences are narrated in a simple and touching language, which will definitely inspire you. You would wish that you could have met a master like Vimalananda. This is the world of darkness. Darkness of life and darkness of death.

The story of Vimalananda starts in the first title, continues soberly, with additional cherishing short stories and explanations. The second one i.e. Kundalini is dedicated to the Yogic and Tantric essence, the rising of Serpent Fire, although, I realized, very few chapters were dedicated to it. Vimalananda has suggested that Kundalini, is a yoga for practice and experience, under the blessings of a awakened master and not a topic of discussion. Aghora – 2 also opens some of the mysteries related to the five elements and their workings. The third one is more focussed on the law of nature and the law of karma. Overall, I will say, a must read series for Tantra seekers.

One thing, i noticed in all the titles, was, that, the techniques were missing. The books do not offer any of the techniques to practice Tantra or Kundalini Yoga, which in fact is the essence of Tantra teaching. Tantra is about techniques and not about Philosophy or fiction. This might have been the decision of the Master Vimalananda, i suppose.

The books are published by Rupa & Co (Aghora 1 and 2) and Lotus Press (WI) (Aghora 3) and are priced at rs. 195/- each for non-paperback editions.

tantra ke aadi guru bhagavan shiv mane jate hai aur ve vastav men devon ke dev mahadev hai. tantr shastr ka aadhar yahi hai kee vyakti ka brahm se sakshatkar ho jaye aur usaka kundalini jagaran ho tatha tritiy netr (Third Eye) evan sahasrar jagrit ho.

bhagavan shiv ne pratham bar apana tisara netr falgun poornima holi ke din hi khola tha aur kamadev ko bhasm kiya tha. isalie yah divas tritiy netr jagaran divas hai aur tantrik is din vishesh sadhana sanpann karate hai jisase unhen bhagavan shiv ke tisare netr se nikali huee jvala ka aanand mil sake aur ve us agni oorja ko grahan kar apane bhitar chhaye hue rag, dvesh, kam, krodh, moh-maya ke bij ko poorn roop se samapt kar saken.

holi ka parv poornima ke din aata hai aur is ratri se hi jis kam mahostav ka prarambh hota hai usaka bhi poore sansar men vishesh mahattv hai kyonki kam shiv ke tritiy netr se bhasm hokar pure sansar men adrishy roop men vyapt ho gaya. is karan use apane bhitar sthapit kar dene kee kriya sadhana isi din se prarambh kee jati hai. saundary, aakarshann, vashikarann, sammohan, uchchatan aadi se sanbandhit vishesh sadhanaen isi din sanpann kee jati hai. shatru badha nivaran ke lie, shatru ko poorn roop se bhasm kar use rakh bana dena arthat apane jivan kee badhaon ko poorn roop se nasht kar dene kee tivr sadhanaen mahakali, chamunda, bhairavi, bagalamukhi dhoomavati, pratyangira ityadi sadhanaen bhi prarambh kee ja sakati hain tatha in sadhanaon men vishesh safalata shighr prapt hoti hai.

kam jivan ka shatru nahin hai kyonki sansar men janm liya hai to moh-maya, ichchha, aakanksha yah sabhi sthitiyan sadaiv vidyaman rahengi hi aur in sab ka svarup kam hi hain. lekin yah kam itana hi jagrat rahana chahie ki manushy ke bhitar sthapit shiv, apane sahasrar ko jagrat kar apani buddhi se inhen bhasm karane kee kshamata rakhata ho.

aur fir holi ka parv … do mahaparvon ke thik madhy ghatit hone vala parv! holi ke pandrah din poorv hi sanpann hota hai, mahashivaratri ka parv aur pandrah din bad chaitr navaratree ka. shiv aur shakti ke thik madhy ka parv aur ek prakar se kaha jaen to shivatv ke shakti se sanpark ke avasar par hi yah parv aata hai. jahan shiv aur shakti ka milan hai vahin oorja kee lahariyan ka visfot hai aur tantr ka pradurbhav hai, kyonki tantr kee utpatti hi shiv aur shakti ke milan se huee. yah visheshata to kisi bhi any parv men sambhav hi nahin hai aur isi se holi ka parv ka shreshth parv, sadhana ka siddh muhoort, tantrikon ke saubhagy kee ghadi kaha gaya hai.

prakriti main ho rahe kampanon ka anubhav samany roop se n kiya ja lekin mahashivaratri ke bad aur chaitr navaratri ke pahale – kya varsh ke sabase adhik madak aur svapnil din nahin hoten? … kya inhin dinon men aisa nahin lagata hai ki din ek gunagunahat ka sparsh dekar chupake se chala gaya hai aur sari kee sari rat aakhon hi aakhon men bita den … kyonki yah prakriti ka rang hai, prakriti kee madakata, usake dvara chhidakee gaee yauvan kee gulal hai aur ratarani ke khile foolon ka nashilapan hai. pure sal bhar men yauvan aur athakheliyan ke aise madamate din aur aisi angadaiyon se bhari raten fir kabhi hoti hi nahin hai aur ho bhi kaise sakati hain ….

tantr bhi jivan kee ek masti hi hai, jisase suroor se aankhon men gulabi doren utar aate hain, kyonki tantr ka janane vala hi sahi arth men jivan jine kee kala janata hai. vah un rahasyon ko janata hain jinase jivan kee bagador usake hi hath men rahati hai aur usaka jivan ghatanaon ya sanyogon par aadharit n hokar usake hi vash men hota hai, usake dvara hi gatishil hota hai. tantr ka sadhak hi apane bhitar ufanati shakti kee madakata ka sahi mel holi ke muhoort se baitha sakata hai aur un sadhanaon ko sanpann kar sakata hai, jo n keval usake jivan ko sanvar de balki isase bhi aage badhakar us unche aur unche uthane men sahayak ho.

is sal yah holi parv march men sanpann ho raha hai. jo bhi apane jivan ko aur apane jivan se bhi aage badhakar samaj v desh ko sanvarane kee ichchha rakhate hai, lakhon-lakh logon ka hit karane, unhen prabhavit karane kee shaili apanana chahate hai, unake lie to yahi ek sahi avasar hai. is din koee bhi sadhana sanpann kee ja sakati hai. tantrokt sadhanaen hi nahin das mahavidya sadhanaen, apsara ya yakshini sadhana ya fir vir-vetal, bhairavi jaisi ugr sadhanaen bhi sanpann kee jaen to safalata ek prakar se samane hath bandh khadi ho jati hai. jin sadhanaon men pure varsh bhar safalata n mil paee ho, unhen bhi ek ek bar fir isi avasar par dohara lena hi chahie.

is prakar holi laukik vyavahar men ek tyauhar to hai lekin sadhana kee drishti se yah vishesh tantrokt-mantrokt parv hai jisakee kisi bhi drishti se upeksha nahin karani chahie. sadhak ko is din kisi n kisi sadhana ka sankalp avashy hi lena chahie. aur yadi sambhav ho holi se prarambh kar navaratree tak sadhana ko poorn kar lena chahie.

Tantra says that before you make love to a woman or to a man, first pray — because it is going

Tantra says that before you make love to a woman or to a man, first pray — because it is going to be a divine meeting of energies. God will surround you. Wherever two lovers are, there is God. Wherever two lovers’ energies are meeting and mingling, there is life, alive, at its best; God surrounds you. Churches are empty; love-chambers are full of God. If you have tasted love the way Tantra says to taste it, if you have known love the way Tao says to know it, then by the time you reach forty-two, love starts disappearing on its own accord. And you say goodbye to it with deep gratitude, because you are fulfilled. It has been delightful, it has been a blessing; you say good-bye to it.

Tantra belongs to Shiva, and the Baul is an offshoot of the same tree. Tantra says, “Everything happens in its own right time, you need not force it. Your force will not help. It will be a disturbance. It may destroy, but it can never be creative. One has to be very effortless, spontaneous. One has to be in a let-go.”

Tantra has special methods how to go on drinking and yet remain aware. YOU cannot be aware even without drinking. Tantra has methods to slowly slowly drink, and keep awareness, not to lose track of your awareness. Slowly slowly, the quantity of your drug has to be increased as you increase in your awareness. A moment comes when — you will be surprised to know, still there are people in the East who practice it — a moment comes, when no drug can affect your consciousness at all.

Then the last thing they try is this: they keep poisonous snakes and they allow the snake to bite them on their tongue; that is the last method. Ordinarily a man will die…. These snakes are absolutely poisonous. Three percent of the snakes in India are dangerous; you cannot survive their bite — once bitten you are gone. But these tantra masters will remain alert even in that moment and they will not die. Their bodies have become accustomed to all kinds of poisons and they have become alert, so alert that no drug can affect them.

Tantra has an attitude about sex. The reason? — it tries to redress what the society has done. Tantra is medical. The society has repressed sex; Tantra comes as a remedy to help you redress balance. You have leaned too much to the left; Tantra comes and helps you to lean to the right. And to redress the balance sometimes you have to lean too much to the right, only then the balance is gained. Have you not seen a rope walker, a tightrope walker? He carries a staff in his hand to keep balance. If he feels he is leaning too much to the left, he immediately starts leaning to the right. Then again he feels that now he has leaned too much to the right, he starts leaning towards the left. This is how he keeps in the middle. Tantra is a remedy.
one thing to be remembered always: if you are not very alert you may go on believing that you are moving into tantra, and you may be simply rationalizing your sexuality — it may be nothing but sex, rationalized in the terminology of tantra. If you move into sex with awareness, it can turn into tantra. If you move into tantra with unawareness, it can fall and become ordinary sex. It has happened in India — because only India has tried it. All tantra schools in India, sooner or later, were reduced to sex orgies. It is very difficult to keep aware… it is almost impossible to keep aware. If from the very beginning the discipline has not gone very deep in you, there is every possibility that you will start deceiving yourself. Tantra schools arose in India with great energy, with great insight. And they had something — because that is the last center humanly available: the seventh is superhuman, the seventh is divine. The sixth is the spiritual center.

From sex to tantra: a great revolution, a mutation, is possible in man. And in the Eat, people became aware that if you become meditative while making love, the quality of sex changes and something new enters into it — it becomes tantric, it becomes prayerful, it becomes meditative… it becomes SAMADHI. And a natural flow happens: from the third you can jump to the sixth — you can bypass the fourth and the fifth. It is a great temptation, a great leap — you can bypass, a shortcut — but dangerous too, because you may be simply deceiving yourself… and man is very clever — very clever in finding rationalizations.
You can find rationalizations. The temptation is always there — you can find good reasons for wrong motives. Tantra can any moment become just a garbed sexuality; just in the guise of tantra, nothing but sexuality. Then it is dangerous, more dangerous than ordinary sex — ordinary sex is at least honest. You don’t pretend, you don’t claim something higher; you simply say it is ordinary sex. But tantra can be dangerous: you start pretending that this is something higher, something superhuman, something not of this world. Keep this in mind.

In tantra they say: Never make love unless you have checked your nostril — never make love. If the man is breathing from the feminine nostril then the woman has to breathe from the male nostril. Then there will be real orgasm. Otherwise, love will be just a wastage of energy — not more than sneezing. You will feel relived after a sneeze — a good sneeze, one feels relieved — but nothing much will happen out of it.

Tantra is basically spiritual sexology … because man’s mind is perverted throughout the world by religions teaching repression of sex. Tantra is the only science which teaches you expression of sex — not as indulgence, but as a spiritual discipline. This is a transformation of a biological phenomenon into spirituality.

A free self is the true taste of freedom. It is free even in the midst of chaos and clamor. But what

A free self is the true taste of freedom. It is free even in the midst of chaos and clamor. But what is it free from?

It is free from
- limited knowledge
- limited energy
- limited action
- limited happiness

…and you dont need drugs. Now, how cool is that !!!

But how to get there ? No two paths are strictly the same. No two travelers are the same.

All journeys however, have somethings in common

The beginning: It is characterized by dissatisfaction, hope, doubt. Also called ‘the tap on the shoulder’. When, through the course of events in your personal life or work, you stop and ask ‘what the f@#$ is going on?’. You google desperately to get the answers, but there are none to the fire that consumes your mind. After all, where you can you go to find reality, meaning, wisdom, your purpose in life, the Truth ? Who can you trust to get the answers from? But at least, you are stirred into action, learning, questioning. You have become a seeker. You have paused on the treadmill. You are ready to take a fresh look at life. You are up and away. But you need to prepare, with a specific set of tools. They are your body, mind, heart and spirit. You need to energize them for the journey. They have been left uncared for all these years, so treat them with care, but keep working on them. They will respond positively, when they find out you are serious about this.

The middle: It is characterized by insights, practice, patience. It is the best phase of the journey. Light bulbs are flashing in your mind every now and then. You are discovering new things, new ways of looking at the same things and are getting help from unseen forces on your journey. There’s increased serendipity, intuition, trust in the unknown and openness to knowledge. Your barriers are dropping, and insights are increasing. Years of conditioned views, beliefs, values are being shed like layers of dead skin. You feel lighter and are filled with vitality. But, it is also the toughest phase of the journey. You dont know when you will reach the end, how many miles there are left and if you need to choose a different path. and then, one day, it just happens. naturally. you reach the end.

The end: It is characterized by trials, flow, contentment and compassion. You look around, you see people suffering. You are moved in your heart to help. You have reached the end, but your new journey is just beginning. There are plenty of trials to test your realization and wisdom. Plenty of opportunities to lead and to serve. The seeds of dissatisfaction are still there and appear stronger to challenge you, in more creative forms. But this time, you don’t need to worry. Strength comes from within. Clarity comes from within. There is no doubt any longer – just flow. Burn up residual traces. Don’t let the seeds sprout again. Starve the fire off any additional fuel. Live freely. You are an urban monk now.

In the pages to follow, I have catalogued tools and resources to help urban monks in different stages of this journey. It contains wisdom that speaks through the ages, which I was lucky enough to stumble across. If there are any shortcomings, I ask for your forgiveness and understanding. The shortcomings are mine alone and they do not take away even a bit from the brilliance of those great masters I learnt from.
