En mindre bra bild, men still, en bild!

Fick idag hem denna fina möbel från blocket. Ett trevligt par i vår ålder som sålde den och som dessutom körde den ända hem till oss! Det är vad jag kallar service! 600:- back på den blev jag men det funkar denna månaden då jag inte ska tatuera mig, för första gången på tre månader nu. Och kan jag fiska ur 4000:- på varje lön de senaste 3 månaderna så kan jag fiska ur dessa 600:-

Fredag i morrn och efter jobb blir det IKEA. Jag är lite nervös på hur jag ska få hem allt. Jag har dessutom drömt mardrömmar om IKEA. Om att jag handlar saker, bland annat värmeljus, och lägger dem i en ikea-shoppingkorg(?) och sen går och ska leta upp annat. När jag kommer tillbaka till korgen har någon tagit sakerna jag lagt i där. Mina värmeljus, som i drömmen var det sista paketet kvar, är snodda ur min krog. Och sen hade de inte inne servisen jag behövde köpa…

Tur det bara var en dröm och tur att det kommer gå som en dans på rosor i morrn när jag ska handla. Kan jag inte ta hem det på ryggen i en scout-ryggsäck så blir det taxiresa hem. Det får jag unna mig i det fallet. Det är ju trots allt fredag ;D

I forbindelse med kjøpefri/handlefri dag lørdag 28. november, kan det også være verdt å merke seg hvilke produkter man  skal være forsiktig med å kjøpe på grunn av forskjellig slags “grums”. Portalen “Foreign policy“, nevner følgende versting-ting:

GULL: Miljøskadelig. Sprayes ofte med cyanid for å separere det fra andre mineraler. 20 tonn cyanidblandet avfall er i bruk for å produsere en eneste gullring. Dette miljø- og helseskadelige avfallet dumpes ofte i nærliggende vann. For å opptre miljøvennlig, er det derfor best å handle resirkulert gull.

SJOKOLADE: Barnearbeid. 70 % av verdens kakaopulver kommer fra Vest-Afrika, hvor bortimot 300.000 barn under 14 år sliter under farlige forhold på kakaoplantasjer. Alternativet er å kjøpe Fairtrade-sjokolade fordi den er produsert ved hjelp av voksen arbeidskraft.

TEAK-MØBLER: Burmesisk teak. På grunn av den burmesiske befolkningens frihet og miljø. Teak blir hovedsakelig brukt til utendørs-møbler, og den burmesiske teaken er regnet å være den sterkeste og den vakreste i verden. Salget av denne tresorten har også hjulpet det brutale regimet økonomisk i neste 30 år. Man bør handle møbler i mer vanlige tresorter eller forsøke plantasje-teak, som selv om det ikke er så sterkt som den sentvoksende burmesiske teaken, ikke bidrar til avskoging.

DUSJFORHENG: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), også kjent som vinyl. Både helsa di og miljøet påvirkes. PVC er i alle slags produkter. Lukten av ny bil? Det er PVC. Lukten er egentlig PVC gifter, karcinogener som slippes ut i lufta. Produksjon og avfallet til PVC frigjør kvikksølv og dioksin til miljøet. Velg PVC-fritt plastleketøy og dusjforheng som er laget av Peva, som er en mindre skadelig plasttype.

MOBILTELEFONER:  Inneholder Coltan. 80 % av all coltan utvinnes i den krigsherjede republikken Kongo. Australia utvinner også Coltan, men dette er umulig å spore i mobiltelefonene. Man unngår dette ved å kjøpe telefoner i resirkulert materiale.

There’s something undeniably magic about teak; something that makes teak as much a part of the nautical landscape in the 21st Century as it was in the salty days of East Indiamen and Clipper Ships like CUTTY SARK when teak actually served several vital purposes in ship construction. Alongside Stockholm tar, marlinspikes, canvass and gleaming brass, teak conjures classic images of all things maritime.

The King of Woods has always been teak. But there’s a problem with teak, maybe a big one. The era of teak at sea may at last be coming to an end, the victim of environmental concerns and ironically human rights. Because of its aesthetic appeal, teak is still the wood of choice for superyachts, even those yachts designed to exceptionally high environmental standards, like ETHEREAL. ‘Teak is a matter of mentality; teak feels good on your feet and, for whatever reason, most people aren’t happy if you use any material they think is inferior, they want the best’, says Fincantieri’s John Luca Scarpa. ‘But we’re seeing thinner teak decks, simply because it’s getting more difficult to find good teak in long lengths’. And that’s the problem.

‘In the superyacht industry it’s a mindset; if you say ‘deck’, they hear ‘teak’, says Marcel van der Spek of Esthec. ‘Yes, there is an almost magical value to teak, but teak is becoming a serious concern to us’, says Michael Breman of Lurssen, ‘We have enough for our current builds, but we’re working very carefully with our existing stock and reseraching for suitable alternatives. Det här möblemanget är det snyggaste jag har sett på länge på auktion. Den är designad Peter Hvidt & Ole Molgaard för France & son, Danmark. Sofforna är i teak med grått tyg och är 123 cm långa. Teakbordet är 46 cm högt och skivan är 74×74 cm. Möbelgruppen är lite sliten men hur snygg som helst. Utropet är satt till 3000 kr.

Nedan är en stålrörskarmstol i ljust skinn från 1930/40-tal med utropet 2000 kr. Brevid 2 karmstolar formgivna av Josef Frank för Svenskt Tenn. De är i mahogny med svart skinnklädsel. De kommer från Utrikesdepartementet, som så mycket annat på den här auktionen. Har UD rensat ut på alla ambassader? Utropet för Frank-stolarna är 8000 kr.

Again today I have been working on my woodcutting. A farming run when I got home today got a a quick 50k exp and put me a week away from 89. Woodcutting has been and always will be one of my least deserving skills in the game. Its concept in the real world is a dangerous hard job but in runescape you just chop a log and poof its milled into 3 beautiful logs. I like the new updates to woodcutting but also love using my mouse keys. Chopping teaks also makes me some side cash which is growing daily. I’m now getting 67-69k exp per hour and its really nice to be surfing the web and also be getting a good amount of firemaking and woodcutting at the same time. I love my adze. As I get closer and closer to my goal I hope and hope that I don’t have to train woodcutting agian. Today I got level 77 and am about 70k from 78 as I am writing this. I should get another level tonight but no promises. This is 77 still such a newb rank is horrible.

Här kommer lite snygga möbler. Först en tevagn Tebe i teak i design av Yngve Ekström. Ni vet han med fåtöljen Lamino. Jag har visat den förut här i bloggen. Den är mycket snygg. Jag köpte för ett antal år sedan en likadan fast i jakaranda och gav bort till en kompis i 30-årspresent. Då kostade den 125 kr! Här ropas den ut för 500 kr vilket inte heller är så mycket.

Nedan är ett grammofonskåp. Det är i alm mad Mjölbyintarsia. Riktigt kul design! Man har kanske inte så mycket nytta av ett grammofonskåp men man kan iallafall använda det som barskåp. Det finns säkert andra bra användningsområden. Grammofonskåpet har inte åsatts något utropspris. Brevid är ett snyggt sideboard eller byrå i funkis i trä och stålrör. Bredden är 80 cm. Högsta bud just nu är 400 kr. Formspråket i de här två möblerna är rätt likartat eller hur?

De två första möblerna ropas ut på Vätterbygdens Auktionskammare den 13 oktober och den sista på Metropol den 12 oktober.
