So, yesterday I arrived in Barcelona along with the Austria MSP and MSSP (Senior Student Partners) crew. With my on board this wonderful journey are Christian Liensberger, Mario Meir-Huber, Horst Kandutsch. Andreas Schabus from the Austria academic team should be arriving today, and of course a number of speakers from the Austria DPE team (e.g. Mario Szpusta).

In the afternoon we checked into TechEd and then went to the city center to find some Spanish food and ot take a look the city. Here are some impressions of what Barcelona has to offer (more here).

It has been more than a month since I last posted anything on this blog as after coming back from Barcelona, I got caught with so many important things including studies . But I will try to post more about TechEd Developer Conference and our Barcelona tour very soon.

TechEd-Dev07: Day 3/3: Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) in the Real World: Zürich Airport Monitoring System

This was an interesting session even though I had seen the application before. Basically they created a live view of the airports + planes for Zurich Airport based on a SOA backend with WPF.

In the session he showed us all required elements for building an app such as the Zurich app. It was an interesting 101 on WPF, Interactive Designer an VS. Very nice indeed.
