y entonces mira a tu alrededor,
¿puedes ver todo lo que despreciabas?

¿Cómo pudo pasar todo aquello desapercibido?
Cómo…

He vuelto a nacer,
sigo conservando el mismo nombre.

Oscar-winning songwriter Paul Williams, who is apparently working with Daft Punk, claimed their album could be released as early as June. He was at a SXSW screening of his film new film ‘Paul Williams Still Alive’ and in a interview he confirmed: “I have written songs for Daft Punk. This material will appear on their new album, coming maybe June.”

//// Reports are coming in that Nile Rodgers is working with the robots, Daft Punk, on their new album!! Has the day finally arrived where the greatest electronic duo start making music again?!?!

Funk legend Nile Rodgers is hoping to bounce back from cancer with a new Daft Punk album.
The superproducer and former Chic star is in talks to work with the European dance music duo on a new album.
If the plan comes together, it will be Rodgers’ first assignment since successfully battling cancer last year (11).
He says, “Those guys are great. They’re coming to my apartment on Monday and we’re going to talk about making a new record together.”
The album will be Daft Punk’s first since the release of the soundtrack to the film Tron: Legacy. [contactmusic]

Hey People!

I shot this photo in a new hotel that I went to see with my dad, it’s located in the outskirts of the city and it’s very beautiful, very elegant but simple at the same time, and had so many details to see.

I liked this photo because of all the shapes that I captured here.

Hola!

Hoy y siempre, GRACIAS, GRACIAS, GRACIAS.

Richie Hawtin is the the leading Techno dj/producer of the world.
He was born June 4, 1970, Banbury, Oxfordshire.Hawtin attended Sandwich Secondary High School in LaSalle. His father worked as a robotics technician at General Motors, and was a fan of electronic music, introducing his son to Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream at an early age. He has one brother, Matthew, who is a visual artist and ambient music DJ.Richie as a kid would always hear early techno on underground radio station in Canada. This sound was an obsession for him. One day He decided to go to Detroit to experience the new experimental sounds. He began to DJ in clubs in Detroit at 17, and his early style was a mix of house music and techno.
That initial trip changed him for ever. His first music job was helping out Scott Gordon at his dj gigs. He would warm up the crowd till Scott was ready to take over. This was Richie’s first taste of the Dj culture. With Canadian DJ John Acquaviva he formed the label Plus 8 in 1990 to release his own tracks under the name F.U.S.E. Within a short time Plus * records became one of the leading Techno label of that time period. MINUS RECORDS was created in 1998 by Richie Hawtin.By this time he was living in Berlin. By 2005, M-nus was releasing 2 to 3 CDs and 12 to 14 records per year.

This a really special musical collage for me because it showcases most of the records that I did at

This a really special musical collage for me because it showcases most of the records that I did at that point all in one mix. This is something I always wanted to do in the past. I just didn’t have enough material back than that was worthy of the mix lol! I call it ” THE FACE OF RHENALT” because its a very personal mix. I used all the remixes done for me,The remixes that I did for other artist, and original tracks done by yours truly! I noticed some of the big names already used this market strategy. I figured if they did it, I should do it also. If you use successful people as your blue print, you are guaranteed success also! Lets go through the tracks now.
1 THE NIGHT
This record was a very early one for me. This was done back in 2005. It was a vocal that I found in Beat Port. I thought I could just take it and make a track out of it. I pitched to Cornelius of Alter Ego Management. (manager of the legendary underground resistance) He told I wouldn’t be able to use it because I didn’t clear the sample. I did do a newer version since than with a vocalist by the name of Pilar.

2 RHENALT/ROCK DA SPOT/SIMON BERK RMX(Borghese Incisioni)
Rock the spot original version is an electro/rock feel record. At this time I was listening to a lot of the artist from France. DaftPunk,Justice,Ed Banger Crew etc..A label from Italy was interested in the record. The name if the label is Borghese Incisioni. A producer from the label did a remix for it. His name is Simon Berk. His version is more tech house. I had to use it for this mix

3 RHENALT DIRTY GIRL/KID MASSIVE RMX( AFRO ACID)
Dirty Girl is one of my favorite records. This is from my first my first E.P “Rebel Eye” out on Afro Acid Digital. Kid Massive from the U.K did a fantastic remix for me. Dirty House at its best! Kid Massive is one of the most talented producers in house music now!

4 DAVINCY/NOTHING/RHENALT RMX (HOUZE SLAVE)
This an interesting record. This is a remix I did for an artist coming out of Berlin. He goes by the name of Davincy. The original version is more of an electro feel. I decided to give him more of a New York City house feel. I was intrigued by Todd Terry’s all stars project. I was watching the videos on the process of the records being made for his project. I used that as a reference for this remix. This record came out of a label from Germany called Houze Slave

5 RHENALT/JET BLACK/PCI RMX (HOUZE SLAVE)
This record is from the Jet Black E.P Its a remix done for me from an artist that goes by the name of PCI.PCI comes from Berlin. He gave me an incredible electro remix of my original version of Jet Black. PCI has a great ear for the electro house style. I see a bright future for this cutting edge producer.

6 RHENALT/JET BLACK/JEROME BAKER RMX (HOUZE SLAVE)
This is one of my favorite remixes from my Jet Black E.P. Jerome Baker knows techno. He know how to get straight to the point with his production. This is the kind of record you use a secret weapon to get the crowd crazy. Big bass,Driving drums and enormous energy! Veteran producer coming out of Minneapolis!

7 RHENALT/PUNK BASS/DJ NIPPER RMX (PUNK PUSSY RECORDS)
Punk Bass is a electro/rock record. The original has live sounding drums, guitars and electro dirty synths.Dj Nipper is the former member of the legendary group from the 80′s 808 STATE.
Dj Nipper provided a unbelievable electro remix. I never knew he can do this style of music. This is a record I can play anywhere. He been producing since the early 80′s. He is one of the producers that gave birth to the whole European scene in general.
Powerful drums, dirty synths and an infectious groove. You have to hear it to believe it. This record was signed to Dj Nipper’s record label Punk Pussy Records based in Hon Kong.

8 ANGELO BOOM/777/RHENALT RMX (Borghese Incisioni )
This record is a very special one. The original is from a long time friend Angelo Boom. I know Angelo since grade school. This record is dedicated to his son. His son was born on 7/7/07. He came up with the idea of making a record called 777. I thought it was brilliant! I provided a hard tech house version.Live sounding drums, sampled my own voice pitched down saying 7 three time to brake the track up in three sections. Every section more intense than the previous one. Lots of white noise through out the track.777 is one of my best production. This record was signed to a label based in Italy called Borghese Incisioni

9 RHENALT/JET BLACK/ANGELO BOOM RMX (HOUZE SLAVE)
Angelo Boom of course had to be part of the Jet Black E.P. He provided a tribal tech version for the ground barking e.p. I love the drums that he used and the minimal sounds to give it that techy feel.Very different from the other versions, Angelo brought it back NYC style.

10 ROOSTER AND PERALTA/HUM SONG/RHENALT RMX (FUNKATRONIK)
The dynamic duo Rooster and Peralta! These two have a great sound coming out of NYC. I really like the records they put out. I play them in my sets regularly! Im influenced my their production style. This is a remix i did for their original record called THE HUM SONG.The original is leaning toward the electro house sound. I provide a electro tribal version with a splash of tech through out! The record was actually my very first record on BEAT PORT. You can imagine how excited I was for this particular record. After this release,I felt more confident in doing remixes and original records to be released! THE HUM SONG came out on FUNKATRONIK RECORDS. Rooster and Peralta’s record label.

11 RHENALT/BOTTLEZ/DJ MTRAXXX RMX(ACID ALL STARS)
DJ MTRAXXX is a very important person for me. he was the A & R for Afro Acid Digital a few years back. He was the one that got me signed to the label. This was the start for everything. He believed in my talent. M TRAXXX helped me tremendously with my music career. He did a remix from my Bottlez E.P.
He gave me his classic Industrial Techno style that only comes form him. Hard drums, old school hi hats with a twist of lime provided with industrial strength behind it. Its like the Art Of Noise housed up with a dash of Miami elegance! Bottlez was released on a label called Acid All Stars based in Florida and Sweden.

12 RHENALT/THE GODS/TODD TERRY RMX (IN HOUSE RECORDS)
Oh yes! You know what this is! I had to save this one for last.
THE GODS remixes by Todd “THE GOD” Terry. Todd Terry is one of the Architects of the whole electronic music scene in general. I remember listening to his records before even going to clubs. I heard his records played in my first high school dance back in the days! So many dj and producers are influenced my Todd Terry including myself.Todd Terry is one of the artists responsible for NYC house scene.Todd The God provides a fantastic tribal tech remix.Tough drums, his voice sampled, classic house melodies that give it that “GODLY” edge. This record took me to the next level as an artist. To have a legend believe in what I do and let alone remix it and put out it out on his label was a true blessing! The Gods are within your subconscious mind. Ask and you shall receive! THE GODS out on INHOUSE RECORDS.

This mix was hosted by DJ MTRAXXX. This mix aired on Pirate Revival.co.uk

Peter “Pete” Tong (born July 30, 1960). Pete Tong in my opinion is the ambassador of house music. He works at the most important house music radio station in the world BBC RADIO 1.Pete Tong is the guy the can make or brake your record. He is known worldwide by fans of electronic music for hosting programmes such as Essential Mix and Essential Selection on the radio service, which can be heard through Internet radio streams, for his record label FFRR Records, He also a great record producer. Pete goes by the nick name Lord of the Dance.I love the fact he also is know for his movies on the house music movement. One move in particular that I love is It’s All Gone Pete Tong. The phrase “It’s all gone Pete Tong”, where the name is used as rhyming slang for “wrong”, was reputedly first coined by Paul Oakenfold in late 1987 in an article about Acid House called ‘Bermondsey Goes Balearic’ for Terry Farley and Pete Heller’s ‘Boys Own’ Fanzine. It’s All Gone Pete Tong is also the title of a 2004 film which portrays a fictional DJ’s experiences as he realizes he is becoming deaf. Tong appears briefly in the film. It is also the name Tong has adopted for his club night at the nightclub Pacha in Ibiza. Peter is responsible for launching the International music summit in Ibiza 2008. The international music summit is where record executives, promoters, club owners, djs etc.. can have a place to network and shape the future of dance music in general.

I met Pete Tong one year at the airport in nyc. We both where arriving back from the Winter Music Conference. The funny thing was that the airline lost our luggage..lol. At that time I just started to produce records. Even though I was upset about my luggage, I took it upon myself to introduce myself to him and give him my production on CD. We both kind a laughed about our situation at the airline.I was just so thrilled to meet the man that is the go to guy in our industry!

More on Pete Tong
Tong’s first appearance on radio was in the late 1970s on Radio Invicta 92.4fm, Europe’s first soul station. He joined a rotation of nightclub djs including Steve Walsh, Chris Hill, Chris Brown and others to present monthly guest shows. Later he appeared on local radio station BBC Radio Medway in the ‘Soul Mafia’ and doing occasional mixes for Radio London. In 1981 he made his first appearance on Radio 1 hosting a 15 minute feature on Peter Powell’s show, playing the new tracks and covering the latest gossip and news from the dance world.

When Invicta Radio started up in Kent in 1984, Tong joined them to host a regular soul show, where assisted by local Kent journalist Eddie Gordon of the Kent Messenger he built up a big county profile. Tong stayed at Invicta until 1987. He was then hired by Capital Radio in 1988 at the suggestion of DJ Jeff Young to present a weekly dance programme. DJ Jeff Young having initially been offered the slot by Capital went to BBC Radio 1 to broadcast a weekly Friday night show called The Big Beat.

In 1991 Tong returned to national radio taking over the “hot” Friday night slot from the retiring Jeff Young. Thus Tong began his long stint as the host of the Essential Selection.

The Essential Selection was a BBC Radio 1 show that aired on Sunday afternoons before the chart show then as it gained popularity moved to Friday nights from 6-9pm between 1991 and 2006. From 29 September 2006 onwards, the show dropped its name in the UK from Essential Selection and was referred to as simply “Pete Tong: The Official Start To The Weekend”, airing from 7-9pm until 2009 when it changed to 9-11pm. The programme showcases the latest dance & electronic music, and informs listeners what club nights are on around the United Kingdom at weekends. It is endorsed by Radio 1 as the official start to the weekend, and attracts one of the highest audiences for a radio show in the UK. There are no plans to change this successful format.

Read more on the inventors of the global phenomenon !

Carl Craig is a Detroit-based producer of techno music, and is considered to be one of the most important names in the Detroit second generation of techno producers and DJs. According to an article about Craig, “Of this group, Craig was often recognised as being the most artful and the most willing to engage the rapidly growing shape of techno outside Detroit.” Carl Craig has approached techno using inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, including jazz and soul.

Carl Craig has released many successful albums under a large number of aliases, such as BFC, Psyche, Paperclip People, 69, Designer Music and Innerzone Orchestra. He also had a hugely successful collaboration album with NYDJ Patrick Picasso. Using one alias, Innerzone Orchestra, he released perhaps his best-known track “Bug in The Bassbin” in 1992, a track that many regard as being a key influence in the then evolving sound of drum and bass.

Derrick May, also known as Mayday and Rhythim is Rhythim, is an electronic musician from Belleville, Michigan U.S.A. He was born an only child[1] in Detroit in 1963 and began to explore electronic music early in his life. Along with his Belleville, Michigan high school friends Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson, commonly known as the Belleville Three, May is credited with developing the futuristic variation on house music that would be dubbed “techno” by Atkins.

May’s career started in 1987 with the release of a record called “Nude Photo” (co-written by Thomas Barnett), which helped kickstart the Detroit techno music scene. A year later he was following it with what was to become one of techno’s classic anthems, the seminal track “Strings of Life,” which was named by Frankie Knuckles.

May has not released any original solo recordings since 1993, but has also produced numerous remixes and has re-worked his older material for video game and movie soundtracks, including, most recently, music for the new film of the popular fighting video game Tekken.

For two years, in 2003 and 2004, he was given control of Detroit’s popular annual electronic music festival, originally conceived by Carl Craig and Derrick May, now operated by Paxahau. He named his event Movement, replacing the Detroit Electronic Music Festival along the city’s riverfront.

Derrick May also still maintains a steady performance schedule, playing internationally many weekends. A pioneer of techno, he produces what he calls Hi-Tek Soul or “George Clinton meeting Kraftwerk in an elevator

Juan Atkins Born in Detroit, Michigan, United States as the son of a concert promoter, Juan Atkins learned how to play bass, drums, and “a little lead guitar” at an early age. Atkins, along with school friends Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson, tuned in regularly to WGPR to hear DJ Charles “The Electrifying Mojo” Johnson’s genre-defying radio show. He bought his first analogue synthesizer, a Korg MS10, and began recording with cassette decks and a mixer for overdubs. He subsequently taught Derrick May to mix, and the pair started doing DJ sets together as Deep Space. They took their long mixes to Mojo, who began to play them on his show in 1981.[5] Atkins, May, and Saunderson would continue to collaborate as Deep Space Soundworks, even starting a club in downtown Detroit for local DJs to spin and collaborate.

The 1982 single “Cosmic Cars” also did well. Cybotron recorded their debut album, Enter, and were soon signed to Fantasy Records. One track, “Clear,” struck out in the direction that Atkins would pursue with what would later be called his “techno” music. Instead of merely reworking elements of, “Clear” fused them with club music.

Kevin Saunderson (born Kevin Maurice Saunderson, September 5, 1964, Brooklyn, New York) is an American electronic music producer. At the age of nine he moved to Belleville, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit where he attended Belleville High School and befriended two students, Derrick May and Juan Atkins. Saunderson, with Atkins and May, (often called the “Belleville Three”), is considered to be one of the originators of techno, specifically Detroit techno.
Inner City is a Saunderson collaboration that came about “by accident,” according to Saunderson. In 1987 he recorded a backing track in his home studio, but needed lyrics and a female vocalist. His friend, Chicago house producer Terry ‘Housemaster’ Baldwin suggested Paris Grey. “Paris agreed, flew into Detroit, came up with lyrics and ‘Big Fun’ was born.”[1] Saunderson filed away the tape until, months later, UK dance entrepreneur Neil Rushton came to Detroit in search of music for a compilation album, Techno – The New Dance Sound Of Detroit for Virgin Records. Neil enthusiastically included “Big Fun” on the album. It was soon released as a single and became a worldwide smash, only to be outsold by Inner City’s follow-up single, “Good Life.” A debut album, Paradise, soon followed.
Experience my MINIMAL THOUGHTS.
Josh Wink is the Narrator

This a very special record for me because it was actually my very first production. This version is an updated one. This was the time period when I just finished my internship at 626 studios in Manhattan.I got my first copy of Reason 2.5 I think it was. I really had no idea how to work this program back than lol. I was always a fan of Josh Wink. I had one of his older Cd’s laying around. It was an album that I picked up from Tower Records. Back than you can buy full albums on cd or vinyl. The album was called Left Above The Clouds written, produced and dreamed by Josh Wink. Left Above The Clouds was released on Nervous Records on 1996. Its more like an Ambient style of music mixed with house and techno with a sense of being in a dream state! One particular track got my attention. He was basically talking about how he felt in the morning. He spoke on how optimistic, motivated, self assured and spiritual he felt at that particular time. This had no beat behind it,just his voice. I felt a strong connection to his powerful and thoughtful words. The idea of making a track out of this first came to me in the year 2005.Six years later I did an updated version. A month before doing the updated version,I heard a record by C-SOUL called Feelin House. This record had someone talking over it about how passionate he is about house music. I thought this record was brilliant. I basically used that a reference for the updated version of my record.I called this Minimal Thoughts because this is how he starts his narration with. This is most like my most personal record. Its the way I view my self spoken through the words of Josh Wink.
MANIFEST YOUR INNER THOUGHTS!

More on Josh Wink
Josh Wink (born Joshua Winkelman in 1970) is an electronic music DJ, label owner, producer, remixer, and artist. He is a native of Philadelphia, United States. A pioneering DJ in the American rave scene during the early 1990s, Wink was the most prominent exponent of the tribal forms of techno and house in the U.S. In 1995, he released several hits, including “Don’t Laugh,” “I’m Ready” (which hit number one on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart) and “Higher State of Consciousness,” which topped the dance charts in Europe.

The man behind the Acid sound DJ PIERRE contributed to electronic music tremendously.Pierre and his partner Spanky formed the group Phuture.. Together they did their first E.P Acid Tracks in 1987. This is the first actual recording of the Acid sound.Philippe Renaud, a journalist for La Presse in Montreal, states that the term “Acid house” was “coined in Chicago in 1987 to describe the sound of the Roland 303 bass machine, which made its first significant recording appearance on Phuture’s Acid Trax (DJ Pierre) in that year. Generate The Power his first brake through single. This record was played everywhere in the early 90′s.

Dj Pierre is very important for me because he was the one that made me really take my music seriously. I met him one night a a night club called Mr. Black. I was there to meet the legend for the first time. At this time I was just djing and making mixes to promote myself. He told me if I want to recognized in this business,I would have to start producing my won music. Those words changed everything for me. Pierre also was responsible for releasing my first E.P “REBEL EYE”. This was a dream come true to have my records remixed by producers from all over the world. Afro Acid Digital is the label that Dj Pierre created for upcoming producers. This also is where the “REBEL EYE” E.P got signed to: DJ PIERRE is a big reason why I had the courage to conqueror my dreams in the electronic music business! ACID…THE LIFESTYLE…THE MOVEMENT!

More on one ground braking record label
Tired of the “box” created for himself and other artists he proudly wore Afro Acid conceptually and found a way to share it with the world. He created labels with same concept taking on unknown artists and giving them a platform by adding big name producers and remixers to their projects. Afro Acid Digital (AAD online) and Afro Acid Plastik (AAP vinyl) the labels are in part of the afro acid concept and are pushing the boundaries to create open doors for talent that would normally be ignored.
More on inventor if the Acid sound.

Pierre and Spanky had been to Chicago DJ Ron Hardy’s club called “Muzic Box.” The first Acid House track they recorded was ‘Acid Tracks’ (renamed by Ron Hardy from its original title ‘In Your Mind’), which had a slow burning, bassy, heavy, deep sound, and which was over eleven minutes long. Their first track was put on tape and first played in the Music Box club in the mid-1980s. Ron Hardy played it several times on its first night. It was rerecorded at Trax Records (produced by Marshall Jefferson) and released in 1986.

DJ Pierre went on to record many of the early Acid House tracks on Trax Records under the names Phuture, Phuture Pfantasy Club, Pierre’s Pfantasy Club (with Felix Da Housecat), Phortune with songs such as Your Only Friend (Cocaine), The Creator, String Free, Got The Bug, Box Energy, Dream Girl, Mystery Girl, Fantasy Girl, We Are Phuture, Slam and Spank Spank. One of the tracks has a voice over proclaiming “We are The Creator of Acid Music and we’re back.” DJ Pierre’s track ‘Your Only Friend’ has an anti-drug message.

In 1990, DJ Pierre moved away from Chicago, where the House Music scene was slowing down and joined Strictly Rhythm records, where he was also briefly the A&R manager. One of the problems that DJ Pierre and other Chicago House music artists faced was that they did not usually own their own copyrights; the music they produced was sometimes exported and licensed overseas, and they were not able to share in these revenues. Other hits he released since leaving Chicago include Generate Power by Photon Inc, Follow Me by Aly Us, and The Horn Song (featuring Barbara Tucker). He is still DJing and producing; on January 14, 2007 he appeared on Pete Tong’s Essential Mix on British BBC Radio 1.
