It hasn’t really hit me until now, but I won’t be working with these people next school year.

I have a new staff in The GUIDON to take care of and I’m really excited to manage g. Still, I’ll miss Ceej’s food yearnings, Nadine’s anger, Raf’s douchebaggery, Julienne’s propensity to overwhelm you with her talents, and all the perks that come working with a bunch of crazy, brilliant, and perpetually hungry writers.

Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds be ever in your favor.

It’s amazing how I’ve grown working with these people. Alex pointed out that I was this tall awkward bird the first time she met me. I don’t know what that makes me now, but a lot of amazing experiences with the staff contributed to the growth I’ve gone through this year.

We’ve been down Maginhawa together, walked through old Manila in the rain, visited Ricky Lee’s house, and been a myriad other strange places that aren’t exactly geographic locations (like Google Docs). Every bit of that, despite the Hassle and Gretel, was worth it.
