Printre acesti gameri s-a aflat si cunoscuta echipa TeG care desi era considerata “outsider” au reusit sa castige grupa cu 3 victorii din tot atatea meciuri. Din pacate, ne-am oprit in optimile de finala acolo unde am intalnit prestigioasa echipa fnatic (Suedia), care putea fi invinsa daca baietii nostri erau putin mai concentrati.

Cu toate astea multumim TeG, singura echipa romaneasca care reprezinta tara noastra cu succes indiferent de rezultate.

The pictures will speak for itself. Stance will make or break a car! The DUB scene, Honda scene, VIP scene all put great emphasis on stance. For #1 edition of the “Importance of Stance”, I will be focusing on Hondas. Peep it ya’ll.

Don’t worry this is not Honda’s first and last appearance on “The importance of Stance”. I will definitely be revisiting Hondas in the near future. I mean how could I not? They look SO GOOD!

In tegenstelling tot eerdere berichten dat de concerten van Guus Meeuwis niet door zouden gaan in verband met de perikelen rond The Entertainment Group, laat de Brabantse zanger op zijn website weten dat zijn stadion concerten hoe dan ook door zullen gaan.

Guus Meeuwis zou naar verluid een overname van The Entertainment Group hebben tegengehouden omdat hij nog een aanzienlijk bedrag moet ontvangen van TEG.

En av mina favoritbackar genom åren, Magnus Österby, verkar vara på G till Lövens seriekonkurrent Oskarshamn. Tyckte det var nog jobbigt att se honom i Leksandsdressen. fattade tyckte direkt för honom och hans spelstil och även om han bara gjorde två säsonger i Löven, så är han i mina ögon en “lövenback”. Bra skott, bra på att tacklas och laglojal. Hur som helst, lycka till Magnus med din rehab och hoppas att du lyckas i varenda arena i allsvenskan utom i Umeå. : ) Gamla löv har ju en förkärlek att höja sig här hemma, men det är väl rätt logiskt att man vill visa en gammal publik att man fortfarande kan.

Även exlövet Jens Persson har gjort klart med en ny klubb, även om flytten blir knappt värt namnet. Han lämnar LN 91 för Teg. Kul för Teg att kunna knyta till sig en spelare av hög div.1 klass.

… men aldrig får hämta bilen på verkstaden?

Rätt svar: Jag!

Är så skönt att äntligen ha fått komma hem och slita av sig skorna och sätta sig ner. Blev en ruskigt lång dag i staden idag.

Började med att ta 11-bussen från Vindeln med destination Umeå. Går en snabbis i MVG och styr sedan mot Teg och Nya Motorcentrum där jag ska hämta Saaben som varit på lagning. Köper en Latte på 7-Eleven innan jag kommer dit ca . 12.40 och får veta att bilen inte finns på plats och att killen som jobbar med den är på lunch fram till kl 13.00.

Går en sväng (Tur man kan platespotta) och kollar in OKQ8-stationen på andra sidan E4:an (Blev inte imponerad) och kommer sedan tillbaka lagomt till kl 13.00. Nu pratar jag med en annan snubbe som säger att de måste ha kvar bilen en stund till. Jag frågar hur länge, men får inget riktigt svar. Frågar om det rör sig om en timme lr två och på honom lät det som att det skulle ta något sådant i tid.

Jag vandrar iväg igen. Kikar en snabbis på bilarna hos Volvo, går vidare mot ishallen och hamnar senare på Statoil där jag köper en Twister. Stoppar i mig den samtidigt som jag går mot Ica Teg. Där inhandlar jag ett Aftonbladet som jag sätter mig och läser på en betongkant i närheten av Shell/7-Eleven. Går vidare med riktning mot Tegs centrum och går en lååång runda bland gatorna som finns där inne. Får bland annat syn på vår fd. Saab 9000 som står parkerad vid ett hus.

Vid 15-snåret är jag tillbaka och får då veta att bilen ska komma tillbaka från lackverkstaden nu kl 15. Efter det måste den bara monteras ihop och han som skulle göra det trodde han skulle hålla på till 16.30. Så, jag ger mig ut på ännu en promenad. Tänker bege mig över bron och in till centrum igen när jag får syn på en bänk vid sidan av Tegsbron. Sätter mig där och vilar en stund innan Thomas ringer. Får i uppdrag att kolla upp pris på USB-minne på MicroShop. Går dit för att sedan sätta mig på ännu en parkbänk vid Scandic Plaza. Sedan kajen, kyrkbron och sedan tillbaka på verkstaden. Nu ser jag bilen upphissad och han håller på att montera tillbaka kofångare, baklyktor, hjul m.m. 16.18 är bilen klar och jag kan åka iväg.

Så har min dag sett ut. En enda lååång promenad på Teg kort sagt. Närmare bestämt 15 km och det känns i mina fötter kan jag säga. Hade inte de allra bästa skorna för långpromenad, men jag är iaf glad att jag inte tog mina Ferrari-skor då de är snäppet för små. Då hade jag varit död.

Räddaren i nöden är dock musiken jag haft i öronen hela dagen. Spotify har verkligen funkar ypperligt i mobilen. Har spelat i offline-läget så den har knappt dragit nåt batteri alls. Högsta betyg!

Tur att det var bra väder också. Hade inte varit lika roligt med regn…

Nu är väl en rejäl träningsvärk att vänta. Värker redan en hel del.

Daviess County schools and juvenile probation system have joined together to offer the Tobacco Education Group program to minors caught using tobacco. Each school has written a policy referring first time offenders into the program, and police officers that write tickets to minors for tobacco use will give them the option of attending TEG instead of paying the ticket.

The classes will be held at Washington High School starting Sept. 22 and will go for four Tuesdays. The object of this evidence-based program is to provide a positive alternative to suspension and a court diversion program that will move students forward through the stages of change toward wanting to quit. Our hope is that underage tobacco users will quit or starting thinking about quitting, thereby reducing the number of adult smokers and the number of tobacco-related illnesses and deaths in Daviess County.

Choosing the Right Books for Summer Reading

Remember the old song kids sing on the last day of school as they skip off into that sultry June afternoon?  “No more teachers, no more books, no more teachers’ dirty looks!…”  Wait a minute!  No more books!?!  That’s an unthinkable, horrible vision!  The truth is, some children become disillusioned with reading during the summer because for most of the year they are not able to choose pieces that interest them– and they just can’t take it anymore!  In addition, many school districts assign reading texts and tasks for students to complete during the summer months.  Parents should make sure their child also reads self-selected texts.  (This is not a case against assigned reading, but for students to have the ability to exercise choice during the summer.)  In order to appreciate reading and grow into a life-long reader, the child must have time to read about things that are fun and interesting to her and not always have reading be “an assignment.”

Summer reading pieces should range in difficulty on the child’s independent to instructional reading level.  The independent reading level is where the child can read the literature on her own.  On the instructional level, the child may need some assistance from an adult in order to understand more difficult words and concepts.  This need should not cause the child frustration, but spur inquiry.  An easy way to establish these levels is through the “Five Finger Method.”  Help her make fun and interesting choices!

Procedure:

1. The adult, or child, will use the five fingers of one hand to gauge her reading level.  (Fingers are closed with hand palm up.)
2. Have the child read a half to whole page of text (chapter books or novels), or a few pages (picture books with not much text on each page) from self-chosen books.
3. Let her know that as she reads, one finger will be opened for each word she is unable to pronounce.  (Remind her that this is just a way to find books that will be a good fit for her to either read by herself, or with the help of an adult, and not to feel badly about how she does.)
4. Judge the difficulty of each book based on the following number of unknown words:

0-1 = independent

2-3 = instructional

4-5 = frustration

Allow her to explore her interests through the pleasures of reading!  Parents must pay close attention to the topics she pursues, and ask questions about those choices.  This is important interaction time that allows parents to engage their child in conversations about her interests, affirm the parent-child relationship, and build life-long memories.

Writing & Reading Connection:  The Response Journal

After purchasing my son’s “assigned reading” book, I declared, “Ok, now that you have your book, you’re going to keep a journal as you read.  That way you will be able to remember what your book was about when you go back to school.”  He exclaimed, “Mom!  I’ve gotta write too!  But it’s summer!  Ewwwah!”  I tried to ease his obvious aversion to the whole idea with a smile and an exclamation of my own, “Don’t worry; it’ll be fun!  I promise!”  His facial expression read, “Yeah, right!”  He didn’t know that I was going to have him document his reading using a response journal.

Response journal writing helps a child get into the routine of writing because it is done with a purpose on a regular basis (either daily, or at least every other day).  He is able to express himself freely in relation to what he is reading.  It is free practice without the consequence of criticism.  At any age, journaling is a way for him to connect with the text in various ways, and represent those connections visually using words and pictures.

There are a few components to response journals:  literature, response, and discussion.

• The literature can be fiction (imaginary) or non-fiction (real).  Choice is important here;  however, if he is using assigned literature, then this process allows him to document what was read, and his entries will rekindle his memory when it is time to retrieve information about a book read months prior.
• The response will be a combination of words and pictures.  The focus here is to promote connection and transfer.  He should make connections each time he reads:  text to self (compare or contrast characters or situations to his own life), text to world (compare or contrast current global issues, community-at-large, friends, family, or home to settings in book), and text to text (compare current book to others as desired; important for SAT essay).  According to Dr. David Sousa, transfer is the ability to learn in one situation and then use that learning, possibly in a modified or generalized form, in other situations.  Transfer is the core of problem solving, creative thinking, and all other higher mental processes, inventions, and artistic products (136).  Connection and transfer require him to use higher order thinking processes.
  • Examples of types of response (not inclusive):
    • Copy a powerful, or intriguing, line from the text– response focuses on its meaning.
    • Write a short summary of the pages read that day– response focuses on connections made to what happened.
    • Answer an open-ended question– response focuses on answering a prompt and using evidence from the text to support assertions.
• The discussion supports language and cognitive growth.  There should be an adult actively engaged in this process by reading the entries, and choosing those that prompt further discussion.  The adult does not have to read the book, (though this may be necessary) but she should be familiar with the subject matter in order to know if the child is on the correct path with his understanding.  Learned misinformation is difficult to reverse, and can cause the child problems in future learning experiences.

Response journals can be created by using a spiral or composition notebook, or 3-prong folder with loose-leaf paper.  Encourage the use of a special pen, colored pens/markers/pencils, or crayons.  This activity can unleash untapped creativity in a child when he’s given the opportunity to incorporate hand drawn pictures, collages crafted from magazines, newspapers, clip art, or personal photos, and other artistic mediums.  The expectation is for him to express his understanding of the text, and explain it succinctly.

Make the experience more than “just writing,” and he will see it as a fun activity to look forward to daily, and remember it indefinitely!

Ponadto często spotykamy się z obrazami stereotypizującymi rzeczywistość dalekich rejonów świata,co dodatkowo wzmacnia europocentryczną perspektywę. Istotnym aspektem edukacji globalnej jest również ukazywanie różnorodności kulturowej i sposobów jej ujawniania w poszczególnych ścieżkach rozwojowych. Dlatego też kwestii rozwoju przyglądać się będziemy na bazie studium przypadków oraz z wyszczególnieniem jego aspektów – społecznego, gospodarczego, środowiskowego.
Polska, jak i pozostałe państwa regionu, uczestniczy w działaniach na rzecz redukcji ubóstwa, co staje się powoli naturalnym elementem polityki zagranicznej naszego kraju. Jak długo jednak problem globalnych nierówności nie wejdzie do społecznej świadomości członków naszego społeczeństwa – tak długo spotykać się będziemy z oporem polityków wobec umieszczeniem kwestii globalnego rozwoju i solidarności z krajami Południa na politycznej wokandzie. Uważamy, że powszechna świadomość, będąca owocem szeroko zakrojonej edukacji rozwojowej, przyczyni się do kształtowania postaw solidaryzmu oraz partnerstwa z mieszkańcami krajów rozwijających się.

… den karln verkar ju mer än lovligt galen. Man har ju hört en del, sedan blev det ju inte bättre av de senaste böterna. Hittade denna och saken blev ju då självklar. Vem fan skulle våga att INTE prestera med honom flåsandes i nacken?  Visseligen ryktas han in som sportchef och inte tränare, men även dessa dyker ju upp i omklädningsrummet ibland. : )

Förresten, är det inte lite Teg över Jokipojats dräkter?

Ser nu att reaktionen och uttrycket WOW verkligen ser ut som ett barn skrift. Lite så kände jag också när jag såg att man vill bryta alla nyvarande kontrakt. I realiteten innebär det ju som många redan påpekat just ingenting , men samtidigt visar det på en bra självinsikt och en vilja att förändra vilket är helt nödvändigt i dagens Björklöven. Sedan måste jag kommentera Bedros ord:

Inom fem år ska Björklöven spela i den högsta ligan, matcherna spelas i ett ny multiarena och Tegs SK vara nära lierat med Björklöven och spelande i näst högsta serien.

Vi har hört det mången gång förut, men på något sätt känns det som om orden kommer från en nyktrare mun den här gången, framförallt om vi har en multiarena och Balticgruppen i ryggen.

TeG isi merita statutul de cea mai buna echipa de gaming cs de la noi asa ca probabil sunt printre singurii care isi au un film documentar al lor. In momentele ce urmeaza va invit sa vizionati filmuletul.
