Sim!

Jay A. Fernandez and Borys Kit – HollywoodReporter.com

Are you ready to see Jack Sparrow swashbuckle his way through a big, flashy musical number?

Choreographer-turned-director Rob Marshall is in talks to take the wheel of the massive “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise from director Gore Verbinski. Disney and series producer Jerry Bruckheimer have been eager to set sail on a fourth installment with star Johnny Depp back in his bandanna as Sparrow as early as next year.

Verbinski, with scripts from Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, directed the first three films to $2.67 billion in worldwide grosses (the last, “At World’s End,” was released in 2007). When he exited the franchise in April, the studio immediately sought a fresh take to continue the pirate voyage on a potentially smaller scale. (The last two pictures cost north of $400 million, together.)

Marshall, who is finishing up the Weinstein Co. musical “Nine” for a November release, is not an obvious choice for a loud action-and-mayhem tentpole. But presumably, if he can corral the singing, acting and dancing talents of Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Sophia Loren and Stacy Ferguson, he can handle cannon battles, funny monkeys and angry natives.

The CAA-repped Marshall has directed the films “Memoirs of a Geisha” and “Chicago,” which won six Oscars, including best picture, in 2002.

The pirate crew of the Black Pearl are delighted when they find the last piece of cursed gold. Local blacksmith Will Turner is less happy, however, as they also took the love of his life along with them. He determines to rescue her but needs the help of someone who knows the pirates better than anyone else: the recently incarcerated pirate and former captain of the Black Pearl Jack Sparrow.

Fun, with truly astonishing special effects and a delightful Johnny Depp. Geoffrey Rush is charismatic in support and Keira Knightley is luminous throughout. The writers and director applaudably treat the project much more professionally that expected and make a great job of taking nothing (a park ride) and successfully theming a movie and characters and story around it. It is a bit too long, however, and the movie ends twice rather weakly.

This movie contains mild swear word and strong bloodless blade violence, a gory scene, unpleasant scenes.

Steven Zeitchik and Borys Kit – Hollywood Reporter

Johnny Depp is coming off an acclaimed role in “Public Enemies” and stars in one of the most anticipated movies of this weekend’s Comic-Con, “Alice in Wonderland.”

But the Mad Hatter is facing an unusual situation: Like the character he plays in “Alice,” he soon could be killing time.

Depp is attached to a number of high-profile development properties but is facing a landscape devoid of “go” pictures — those ready for production. Instead, there are a dizzying number of possibilities and schedule permutations, none of which seems likely to result in a produced movie for him anytime soon.

Producers have been interested in Depp for the title role in Warner Bros.’ “The Incredible Mr. Limpet.” Kevin Lima’s remake of the 1964 fantasy comedy that would continue a whimsical, if slightly less drama-intensive, streak for the actor. He has not signed on, however, and in any event the pic would not go into production until next year.

Meanwhile, the fourth installment of “Pirates of the Caribbean” remains a priority for Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. At an earlier point, it was going to be the next picture for Depp, who toplines as Jack Sparrow. But with Gore Verbinski no longer directing the franchise, the ship has slowed.

Disney is seeking a new director, a process that could take time. Although the studio is believed to want an established helmer of franchise and action fare, it has put the word out to agents that it would be open to younger directors and new ideas, potentially prolonging the process. That could mean as much as a four- or five-year hiatus since the 2007 release of the previous picture, “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.”

(Disney also would like to scale back the size and budget of the next movie compared with previous installments; for that reason, it likely won’t bring back relatively pricey Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley.)

Because of the “Pirates” lag, a Depp project that was supposed to go into production after the Sparrow-fest, “The Lone Ranger,” could end up getting pushed back further, though there’s also a possibility it could shoot ahead of the nautical tale.

For the moment, though, “Ranger” also remains locked in the stable. “Pirates” writers Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio have written a script for the Disney/Bruckheimer update, but the studio could wind up commissioning a polish or another draft. There’s also no director, and Depp is attached to play Tonto, with the title role still to be cast.

Finally, Warners’ feature update of the ghoulish TV series “Dark Shadows” — a Depp/Tim Burton collaboration that might have shot later this year or early next year — also might be back-burnered. Burton still has work to do on “Alice,” which opens in March, and tends to spend a lot of time on prep work.

What the possibilities boil down to, besides head spinning, is that there are projects with momentum that Depp has not signed for, and projects he has signed for that don’t have a lot of momentum.

In other words, it’s a very 2009 phenomenon brought on by a star’s choosiness on the one hand and studios’ increasing caution on the other. (In what might be an emerging mini-trend, Will Smith and Leonardo DiCaprio happen to find themselves in similar situations.)

The result is that Depp could face a year or longer without appearing on the big screen.

That might not sound like a major departure, but for moviegoers, it will seem like a shift. Depp has been in one of the most fertile periods of his career: The actor also stars in the Hunter S. Thompson adaptation “The Rum Diary” and had a supporting role in Terry Gilliam’s “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus,” which hasn’t yet been released in the U.S. In the past nine years, Depp has not had more than two movies come out in any 18-month period; if “Imaginarium” gets a release by the end of 2010, he’ll have had four.

Then again, the absence of a new role might mean a respite from his breakneck schedule. Even a pirate needs some time off.

Directed by – Ishiro Honda

Written by – Ishiro Honda, Shigeru Kayama, Takeo Murata

Starring – Akira Takarada, Momoko Kochi, Akihiko Hirata, Takashi Shimura, Fuyuki Murakami, Sachio Sakai, Toranosuke Ogawa, Ren Yamamoto, Miki Hayashi, Takeo Oikawa, Seijiro Onda, Tsuruko Mano, Toyoaki Suzuki, Kokuten Kodo, Kin Sugai

Absolute classic flick and what got me hooked on movies in the first place. Still have fond memories of being at my grandparents on a Sunday and watching some of the old creature features, this being one of the best.

Nuclear testing by the French has mutated one of the local wildlife in the South Pacific. Now it’s headed towards America with one thing in mind but it’s not what you think.

Directed by – Roland Emmerich

Written by – Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio, Dean Devlin, Roland Emmerich

Starring – Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno, Maria Pitillo, Hank Azaria, Kevin Dunn, Michael Lerner, Harry Shearer, Arabella Field, Vicki Lewis, Doug Savant, Malcom Danare

Absolute piece of garbage and probably what almost killed Godzilla. Or he would have at least wished to be alone for a little while after this one. Why, oh why can America not do a remake properly. This one is way off the mark from the original and it’s a shame anyone even wanted to do this one.

And the winner, hands down is the original. Wow, I see a pattern happening here. Will a remake ever surpass the original? This is a no brainer really. I guess I could have put Gojira head to head against the American tinkering of the original titled Godzilla: King of the Monsters where they decided to insert Raymond Burr into the flick. Had I done that though and I would have missed the chance to destroy the 98 remake that I had been so excited for when it was first released.

I love Godzilla and have since I was about 4 or 5 so I was understandably excited when I heard of an American remake. Wow, what a disappointment. First of all, what the hell is Godzilla? Is it really necessary to base him off a real animal? He’s freaking Godzilla! He gets pissed off and stomps the crap out of whatever random town he happens to be close by. Who cares if he appears realistic or not. Transformers makes me angry in the same way. (Sorry, couldn’t help but get that shot in.) I’m not even sure that was my biggest problem with the flick. It has this cartoony feel to it throughout with characters shooting each other a slightly comedic look before yelling ‘RUN’ and taking off in some random direction. To top it all off, Godzilla is pregnant(???) and we get to spend the last 20 or 30 minutes of the flick watching Jean Reno and Matthew Broderick run around in circles trying to escape hundreds of Godzilla babies. In the same way that Godzilla stomps through towns, this movie stomped on all the love I had for Godzilla in the first place.

Now the original flick is truly powerful at certain points. There’s nothing comical in the subject matter. An obvious comment on the perils of war and atomic weapons, there was one scene after Godzilla first rampages onto land that takes place in a hospital. A group of children surround their mother who is put onto a stretcher and taken away. Obviously one of the children breaks down and is comforted by Emiko Yamane (Momoko Kochi). It is a truly moving moment in a movie that most people will assume is about a giant monster squishing stuff. That moment alone makes this one better than the remake. Even though the movie is over 50 years old, it still looks pretty good. Godzilla himself was probably more convincing than he is now. I think with the endless string of films featuring Godzilla nowadays, battling one giant creature after another, the message of the film has been lost. Even I had lost sight of the fact that the movie carries a powerful message. In fact I’d venture to say that the monster himself is almost secondary in the plot compared with the images of war that are portrayed.

I don’t think anyone could disagree with me here that the original far surpasses the remake and if they did, I don’t think they’d ever convince me otherwise. It was great for me as a child and it was even more powerful to me as an adult.

Under the marquee – Will

“It’s a great franchise for them and for us, too,” Bruckheimer said. “A beloved character and Johnny’s really excited about coming back to Captain Jack. He certainly is interested in Tonto, but Disney’s priority is to get ‘Pirates’ made first. You never know what’s going to happen, but they would like it.”

He also stated that original writers Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot were writing the script right now. Bruckheimer stated that it would be a “whole new way of going”.

Seeing as it is a rather dreary day in Milwaukee, WI, and my workload is rather light this morning, I figured I’d write up a quick post. Most of the content…scratch that all of the content heretofore posted on this blog has been regarding movies, so I figured it was about time I got off my keister (that’s right, bringing back keister) and do something different.

As an avid reader I thought it would be interesting (for the handful of you out there who also read in your spare time), to throw up a list of the books I am currently reading and also the sites, mags, blogs, and newspapers I attempt to read frequently. So here goes.

Books:

The Trial, by Franz Kafka – A great read. I really should have finished this by now, but I am slowly plucking away. Kafka’s subtle humor and insight into the human condition are spot on.

Magazines:

Variety, www.variety.com - The #1 source for TV/Film industry news. A must read if you ever want to “make it” in the industry, or even if you are just a passionate couch potato who watches too much TV or too many movies.

Wired, www.wired.com - Geek paradise. Gadgets, Science, Games, Movies, Business. Anything and everything a nerd, geek, techy, or average consumer could want.

Entertainment Weekly, www.ew.com - My most trusted source for Entertainment analysis. Blogs, reviews, and interesting columns from writers Stephen King, Diablo Cody, and more.

Websites:

www.imdb.com - Probably one of my favorite sites ever created. The ultimate database of Film/TV info.

www.wordplayer.com - I love this site. Helmed by Terry Rosio and Ted Elliot (accomplished screenwriters of Pirates of the Caribbean) they provide industry insight, writing lessons, and words of encouragement through their extensive column section. Also included are dozens of guest columns from pros like Stephen King, and Frank Darabont (director of The Shawshank Redemption).

www.rottentomatoes.com - Another good one. Compiles movie reviews from all over to give a surprisingly accurate barometer of how “good” a movie is.

www.g4tv.com - Excellent Geek hub. Links to G4 programs “Attack of the Show” and “X-Play,” as well as “The Feed Blog” which provides some of the most prompt nerd news in the nation.

www.nytimes.com - Being too cheap to pay for this yearly, I stop here to get a dose of news from the left.

www.wsj.com - Same as above, I stop here to get my news from the right.

www.espn.com - I’m a dude, I need my sports.

Newspapers:

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, www.jsonline.com - My local daily, and a great paper. One of a dieing breed.

Blogs:

So many to choose from, but few I actually frequent on a regular basis. Enjoy.

www.neilgaiman.com - A fantastic writer with a good blog. Love reading his stuff.

www.leifbrostrom.com - Fellow Marquette Student with a knack for finding the best rap you’ve never heard.

www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/ - Gotta have my daily Packers updates during the off season.

www.filmschoolrejects.com - A great site for film fans. Various columns/blogs to follow.

www.oliviamunn.com - Humor and hotness combine in G4’s “Attack of the Show” co-host.

www.kevinpereira.com - “The online musings of a cable television darling” – couldn’t have put it better myself.

Holy crap, that turned into a mammoth of a blog post. I guess I spend a lot of time reading, especially about movies, although that is really no surprise to me. But like the venerable Dr. Suess said, “The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” What words of wisdom.

Think I should read something else? Then recommend it! I am always looking for new stuff to read, so comment and let me know where I should look next.

My apologies for the cruddy layout of this blog. For anyone who reads this before I change it up, this is still a work in progress. I wanted to switch some of my posts from The Nate Review over to this blog, but I have no idea how to do that without switching the whole blog over, and I don’t want to do that. So this blog will be a fresh start in terms of film reviews, updates, and the like. Over the weekend I’ll hopefully be able to make some changes, and kind of get the layout how I want it.

In the meantime, here are a few updates in regards to films that I’m keeping an eye on.

Production Weekly is reporting that Mike Newell is in talks to direct Walt Disney’s revamp of the Lone Ranger. I’ve long been a fan of the masked man, and I’m excited that for the first time since 1981, he’s going to be back on the big screen. And anyone who’s seen the highly entertaining but completely awful Legend of the Lone Ranger knows that this story needs a fresh take. Johnny Depp is signed on to play the Lone Ranger’s Indian companion, Tonto, although I don’t know who will play the role of the title character. Newell is probably most well known for his work in the Harry Potter series, directing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which in my estimation has been the best of the five films released so far. He also did Donnie Brasco, which I’ve never seen but have heard was fantastic. So in my estimation, this portends good things for Tonto, Silver and Company. The bad news is that the screenwriters are Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott, who foisted on the world the completely horrendous Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, which is one of the worst movies of the past five years. On the other hand, Rossio and Elliott have shown more than once that they are capable of putting together an engaging story. They wrote The Curse of the Black Pearl as well, which was excellent, as well as Shrek and the National Treasure franchise, both of which I enjoyed. That should give you an idea of what to expect from the Lone Ranger. It probably won’t be high on substance, but it should be highly entertaining and Depp is always fun to watch. Plus, I think the character of Tonto might be a bit different from his usual characters (the dark, tormented, or slightly wacky variety). So it should be interesting to see what he does with the role.

A second trailer has been released for Michael Bay’s next installment of the Transformers franchise. This has only whetted my appetite, and I can’t wait to see it.

And for a movie that’s a bit closer to release, here is the trailer for Christian Bale’s movie Terminator: Salvation. I’m not into the Terminator franchise, but I’ve got to say this looks pretty cool.

Guess that’s all for now…hopefully I’ll get this site up and going over the weekend.

Title: Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Year: 2003
Director: Gore Verbinski
Writer: Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio; story by Elliott, Rossio, Stuart Beattie and Jay Wolpert
Starring: Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, Jack Davenport, Jonathan Pryce
Music: Klaus Badelt
Distinctions: formerly on IMDb’s Top 250
Synopsis: um… pirates
How I saw it: probably in the theater (can’t remember), on video several times (have on DVD), most recently February 2008
Subjective Rating: 9/10
Objective Rating: 7/10 (points off for concept, cinematography and special effects/design)

This is one of those movies where I tend to forget how good it is (I suppose my memory of it gets obscured by its terrible ending and crappy sequels), and then when I rewatch it I’m startled by how much fun I’m having. The plot is clever, the action is loads of fun in a cartoonish way, and every other line coming out of Johnny Depp’s mouth is hilarious (and, by this point, iconic).

Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann have their wedding day rudely interrupted by getting themselves arrested and sentenced to hanging for aiding and abetting a certain Captain Jack Sparrow. Shortly thereafter, Will gets an offer to win Elizabeth’s pardon if he finds Sparrow and returns with his compass. Meanwhile, Captain Jack is having trouble of his own deciding what he really wants and keeping his soul out of the clutches of Davy Jones and the Kraken.

6/10

Meandering but largely fun midpoint for the Pirates of the Caribbean with plenty of ambitiously conceived and brilliantly executed action, some truly outstanding special visual effects (Davy Jones is one of the landmark visual effects) and agreeable performances but no real forward momentum and, frankly, not enough Captain Jack or sense of an underlying good. By the time the climax rolls around (and it takes a while, this feels long) we finally get the sight of Jack being a hero but it’s hollow. It still builds anticipation for Part Three, though, and there’s a little tidbit for those who sit through the end credits which I always appreciate. Overall, it’s better on second viewing and, while it’s only eye-candy, it’s enough.

This movie contains adult dialogue and violence, extremely unpleasant scenes.

Oke leuke cast, leuk Will Arnett…maar ehm…was dit echt nodig?
Goddamn Disney…whatthefuck happened?

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer brings his first 3-D film to the big screen with “G-Force,” a comedy adventure about the latest evolution of a covert government program to train animals to work in espionage. Armed with the latest high-tech spy equipment, these highly trained guinea pigs discover that the fate of the world is in their paws. Tapped for the G-Force are guinea pigs Darwin (voice of Sam Rockwell), the squad leader determined to succeed at all costs; Blaster (voice of Tracy Morgan), an outrageous weapons expert with tons of attitude and a love for all things extreme; and Juarez (voice of Penelope Cruz), a sexy martial arts pro; plus the literal fly-on-the-wall reconnaissance expert, Mooch, and a star-nosed mole, Speckles (voice of Nicolas Cage), the computer and information specialist.

Directed by two-time Oscar®-winning visual effects master Hoyt Yeatman—”G-Force” takes audiences on a high-octane thrill ride, proving once and for all that size really doesn’t matter.

I had a breakthrough the other day. I was on the phone with my Dad, harping at him about how much he needs to change this or that about some play he’s written, and silently cursing him for resisting completely rewriting every play he’s ever written. And then it came to me.

You see, the reason why I think I’ll make a good professional screenwriter is because I’m really good at completely rewriting other people’s stuff. If you know anything about the industry, it’s an incredibly nasty field to be in (read William Goldman’s Which Lie Did I Tell? if you don’t believe me). On the one hand, it makes sense – everyone has an opinion about how a story should go, and writers, actors, and directors, all being creative people, think that they have the right to express that and make it so.

Unfortunately, the invetiable result is the complete destruction of the original screenplay, which, often enough, was in very good shape to begin with. <a href=”http://www.wordplayer.com/columns/wp06.Crap-plus-One.html>Rossio and Elliott</a> talk about this and it makes you want to cry. The number of times a screenwriter has heard, “This is so good, it’s almost perfect … we just need to bring in one more writer to do a clean-up …” Someone I saw at AFF said “It’s a reality of Hollywood that a studio isn’t going to make a hundred million dollar film on a script they paid a hundred fifty thousand dollars for.” And on it goes.

The point is, many times have I pissed off a writer by interjecting my opinion about particular dialogue elements of scenes. But in Hollywood, pissing off screenwriters and rewriting their work is fair game, which can only mean it’s a job I was destined for.

The thing is, I’ve never actually finished a full screenplay. At least not one that I’m willing to show anyone. I’ve got lots of ideas, I know story structure inside and out, I’m a whizz with dialogue and voice, and I’ve started about twenty of them, but I’ve found, as everyone does, that it’s easier to criticize someone else’s work than it is to write – and finish – your own. Maybe it’s because second acts are hard. Who knows. But until you finish your own work, you’re not a writer, you’re just a critic.

And then it came to me.

Since I’m so good at rewriting, rather than writing it to make it perfect, I’ll just vomit it on screen and then rewrite it later. Someone famous once said, “Scripts are not written; they are rewritten.” Just so!

Today I vomited about four pages of Charisma in about an hour. I need to go to jail to do some research to up the level of realism in that scene, but who cares? At least it’s no longer blocking me from writing the next scene. And as long as I go into the rewrite process not attached to anything; knowing that it will take quite a bit to get it right, then I can avoid the nasty fear of being attached to my work.

He shoots … he scores! And that’s the game!

Things I learned at this year’s Austin Film Festival: Read Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot’s

Things I learned at this year’s Austin Film Festival:

Read Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot’s website, Wordplay, cover-to-cover, as it were.

Just like a film has a three-act-structure, so too does every act and every scene. Setup, turn, and completion that drives the action forward.

What makes the chase scene interesting is how the hero overcomes the obstacle in his path – what changes along the way?

Get a manager.

Always be working. Don’t ever stop writing. If you’re the guy that churns out three or four screenplays a year, your agent loves you.

Screenplays are really boring when read out loud.

I came to this year’s AFF knowing a small handful of people. Through each of those people, I met two or three more. The lesson: keep coming, and you’ll double your circle every year.

Danny Boyle is frickin’ amazing. If you haven’t seen Shallow Grave, go watch it.

Make your movie cool. Always look for what can be done differently. How can we write this chase scene in a way that no one’s ever done a chase scene before?

If you want to do a screen adaptation for a project that’s been “in development” forever, find the themes and the genre elements that turn you on in the source material, and write a different script with those in mind.

A screenwriter’s job is to keep rewriting his (or someone else’s) script until everyone involved is okay with it. If you don’t look at your job from this perspective, you’ll only get pissed off because you keep having to change something that you already knew was really good to begin with.

Don’t be creepy, annoying, or overeager.

They’ll read the first five pages. If you haven’t captured them by then, they won’t keep reading.

Apparently, Robert McKee sucks. This was news to me – I love his book. But a lot of people don’t, and they say it results in formulaic films.

I’m sure there’s more. Check back for more details.

The Walt Disney Company had a big presentation a couple of days ago where they announced a bunch of new movies, including three starring Johnny Depp (Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street). These are a new adaptation of The Lone Ranger written by Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio (National Treasure: Book Of Secrets) where Depp will play Tonto and George Clooney (Burn After Reading) might play the titular character, a new part live-action/part CGI adaptation of Alice In Wonderland written by Linda Woolverton (Mulan) and directed by frequent collaborator Tim Burton (Sweeney Todd…) so yeah obviously, and as expected, a fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean film.

It was also announced that Cars 2 would be released in 2011 instead of 2012 and that the story will have Mater joining Lightning McQueen on a world tour. Additionally several short films entitled Car-toons will be set between the two films and will air on the Disney Channel and perhaps before some theatrical films. Thus, the Disney/Pixar film originally planned for 2011, Newt, will instead be released in 2012.

Stumble It! There are numerous screenwriting programs out there, but for my mind there is only one

Stumble It!

There are numerous screenwriting programs out there, but for my mind there is only one worth using: Movie Magic Screenwriter.

I’ve been using this software since way back when it was known as ScriptThing, and was the poor orphan cousin of Final Draft (Hollywood’s 2nd biggest software package).

Well boy oh boy haven’t things changed now!

A great screenwriting program should do everything that you, as a writer, don’t want to do. And it should do it at the click of a mouse, without your having to think about it. That way a trained monkey can learn to use the program WITHIN 5 MINUTES…and actually get stuck into writing their next spec script, and NOT spend days / weeks trying to figure out what Control L does to an index card view screen.

A great screenwriting program also has to be scalable though, so the pros can use it. Because while the basic stuff might impress a newbie…it needs some *grunt* to impress the pros. And yup, you guessed it, Movie Magic impresses EVERYONE.

But any-hoo, I don’t work for Write Brothers Inc (the guys who make Movie Magic) so don’t take my word for it. Have a squiz at what some other folks have to say about it, and check it out for yourself. They even allow you to download a FREE demo of Movie Magic to try before you buy. Neat huh…

—–
I’ve tried most of the competing programs, and found Movie Magic Screenwriter to be far and away the best and most intuitive of the bunch. It’s straightforward enough that a new user can start writing perfectly formatted screenplays within moments of installing it. And it has powerful outlining and production features for those who need them. A perfect program, I will not write without it. “

– Evan Katz Exec Producer, “24″ and “JAG”
“I’ve used Movie Magic Screenwriter for many years. Nothing is as simple, powerful, intuitive and versatile. And the support is outstanding.”

“Writing for “24″ is hard enough. Thank God we’ve got Movie Magic Screenwriter 6 that let’s us get our ideas down with maximum ease. ”

“I was the typewriter machine kind of guy and for several years I refused to switch to a computer. I thought it was going to be difficult and messy. But lot of friends finally convinced me. I bought my computer and: it was impossible to write a decent screenplay. I was always fighting the keyboard, with bad results, until someone recommended Movie Magic Screenwriter to me. Bingo! Suddenly everything became easy and professional and clean and…perfect. Movie Magic Screenwriter allowed me to concentrate on my writing, not on the keyboard. Now, all of my friends have switched to Movie Magic Screenwriter and we are very, very happy with it.”
