08.11. – Holocron Heist (Holocron Heist)
15.11. – Schicksalhafte Landung (Cargo of Doom)
22.11. – Kinder der Nacht (Children of the Force)
06.12. – Spion des Senats (Senate Spy)
13.12. – Kampf und Wettkampf (Landing at Point Rain)
20.12. – Die Waffenfabrik (Weapons Factory)
03.01. – Vermächtnis des Terrors (Legacy of Terror)

Pah! ).

Jetzt muss aber etwas neues her.

Well, it’s Saturday and I have to admit that my morning this morning was pretty care-free. Although, I had put pressure on myself to get some things done. I got up around ten o’clock this morning. I haven’t been able to do that in ages and I have to admit that it was rather nice to be able to sleep in a little bit. Heather, unfortunately, had to take off around seven o’clock this morning for a bus run that she was doing with the Boys’ basketball team for Chenango Valley. I went downstairs and got right to work on my main project for the day. I wanted to get all of the music videos from my classroom processed and off of my laptop so that I could clear the hard drive on the laptop. It’s kind of scary how much space those videos take up. So, I spent my entire morning in the basement trying to finish those up. I watched all sorts of TV shows including “The Clone Wars” again and mostly “Flip This House” on A&E. Around noon, Heather called me and told me she would be home soon. She said she wanted to go to Wal Mart and wanted to know if I wanted to go with her.

I wanted to go because I needed some things to continue working on my clone trooper helmet with. So, Heather got home around one o’clock and we took off for Vestal. We did our shopping at Wal Mart and got some things Heather needed for around the house and I even got a new hot glue gun (since I broke the one I had at the last event). It’s a pretty cool glue gun. We also got some odds and ends and I got some sandpaper for my purposes. We got done shopping and headed over to “Taco Bell” for lunch and then headed over to our “Best Buy” to check out the new store. I have to admit that it’s nice to have a tech store to take over for the loss of “Circuit City” that left almost six months ago now. We browsed the store for a little bit and then came home which got us home around three o’clock. We got home and I went downstairs and started working on the clone helmet some more. In between working on that I decided to watch the Penn State game. It was pretty much a runaway from the beginning.

I was then called upstairs for a dinner of leftovers and I had some leftovers Tahoes plate and then went back downstairs and continued processing music videos and then played “Call of Duty 4″ online with my PS3 until it was time to watch “Law and Order SVU” and then Heather and I watched that and then went to bed.

Okay, so let’s talk about Part 2 of Chapter 18 of “Star Wars – Medstar I: Battle Surgeons, A Clone Wars Novel” by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry……Chapter 18 (Part 2): Den Dhur sat in the chow hall happy with the fact that he would get cold, hard revenge on Filba the Hutt. He had found that one thing that the Hutt would not want seen on the evening holonet. He had found that vengance was now the perfect spice for his food. No, the food was bland and it had to be local food because soldiers had little room on their transports for the extra luxuries of good food to eat. Instead, they ate local food or ate RRs – Ready Rations. They weren’t exactly anything to write home about and that’s why Republic cooks demanded foragers go out the minute a troop transport landed. Den had been on assignments where the only edible food around were RRs and everyone got thin rather fast. Luckily, Drongar was full of enough vegetation and animal life that the eating in the chow hall was better than most planets. He knew anytime he ate something prepared by the military he was eating at his own risk. Although today, even an RR would taste good since a good story helps to satisfy his appetite to do his job. He looked up and saw Zan going through the line and waved him over. They talked about Zan’s meal of wrigglers and Zan said that it wasn’t as good as eating at the Manarai on Coruscant. Dhur was surprised he was able to eat at such a swank establishment and Zan said he came from a family that was fairly well off. Zan offered him a bite and Den declined as he wondered how a rich man’s son, with a talent as a musicia, would end up in the military……

Sinopse: # STAR WARS – THE CLONE WARS
A República vence a batalha.

Well, it’s Friday and I can say TGIF baby! I got up this morning and was happy and well reste

Well, it’s Friday and I can say TGIF baby! I got up this morning and was happy and well rested. I came out and joined the family for breakfast and we had a nice breakfast together. There wasn’t much for breakfast, but that’s okay the company makes up for the lack of food. We had a nice breakfast together and talked about our day and our plans for the day and the evening. Of course my wife would throw a monkey wrench into the works later on. But she left just after breakfast and I took a shower while the kids finished getting ready. We then watched “The Early Show” on CBS just because we are simply creatures of habit. Then I was off to work, while they were off to school.

I got to work and set things up for my classes today. My sixth graders were watching “American Idol” for the first time, my seventh graders were answering the question, “What is a podcast?” and my eighth graders are reviewing previous years’ music video projects. It was a decent instructional day. The kids were fairly well behaved and did a lot of the things I asked of them. I have pegged my one problem class for the quarter and I have a feeling that the class dynamic isn’t even in full swing because two of those students are currently suspended. Should be interesting once they get back into class. I made my way through the work day and was pretty happy with what I was able to accomplish.

I got done with work and came home. I talked with the kids for a little bit until Heather got home and we were going to have a nice night in. But Heather decided she needed some things for dinner so I headed to Weis/Giant. I got the things we needed for dinner and came home. We made dinner and ate together. After dinner we decided to watch “Merry Madagascar” and then I played some “Call of Duty 4″ on the PS3 online until “The Clone Wars” came on T.V. and then we watched that as a family. We got done with all of that and I decided to process some of the videos from my music class last quarter and went to bed fairly late working on the videos till late at night.

Okay, so let’s talk about Part 1 of Chapter 18 of “Star Wars – Medstar I: Battle Surgeons, A Clone Wars Novel” by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry…..Chapter 18 (Part 1): Jos usually used the basic technology of a sonic shower to shake off the dirt and grime from Drongar on his body. Today, however, he stood under a cold shower, but it wasn’t cold enough to take his mind off of the issue with Tolk. No, she had made her thoughts well known this very morning. Jos went to go into the changing room to get out of his own surgical suit because of a massive bleeder he had and figured he was safe since the “In Use” sign was not lit. Instead, he walked into a half-naked Tolk who was changing out of her own surgical suit. Normally this would not be an issue, but for Jos, who just discovered his attraction to her, it was. He stared for a minute and then became red with embarassment and turned around and said he was sorry. Tolk smiled and said she must have forgotten to activate the sign. He wasn’t as in love with the shadowy shape of Tolk as he was with the smile. He began to wonder if she really did forget to turn the diode or not. He spent half the night in the shower and realized he should get out……

Friday. End of the week, payday and so MUCH more to take care of! I got up this morning with a positive attitude and had a lot on my mind and a lot I wanted to get accomplished. By the time I got up , Heather had breakfast together. We all sat down and ate breakfast together and as I was getting into the shower, Heather was heading out to work. I got done with the shower and the kids and I watched the “Early Show” on CBS for a little bit before they headed off to school and I was on my way to work.

Nothing exciting happened at work today. Yet again, I was finishing up final exams with my students. I had a lot to get accomplished with my stuents, but I do feel like was able to get it all done. I worked really hard throughout the afternoon and was even able to get the finals graded and was able to at least have the grades for my classroom processed before the end of the day. I ended up staying late after school and really didn’t leave East Middle until almost four-thirty. Not only did I have to grade my finals and finish grades, but I had to set things up in my room for next quarter and I had to have everything all set for Monday and Tuesday because I had a workshop to attend and I would have a substitute both days of the week. That means that I would not be there for my students the first day of a quarter. I hope I can handle this without flipping out.

I got done and came home just in time to eat dinner with my family. I then entered grades into the computer for my school grades and then felt better because I finally got all my grades done. I went downstairs and played “Call of Duty 4″ for about an hour and then went to watch “The Clone Wars” at eight o’clock. But Cartoon Network had decided to change the line-up order (which my guide didn’t even reflect) and so I was stuck because “Clone Wars” was gonna be on at the same time as “Stargate Universe”. So, I made the decision to watch “Stargate Universe” and then taped “Clone Wars”. So, I played “Call of Duty” for about another hour and then watched my two TV shows. After watching “Clone Wars”, I recorded the next “Clone Wars in a Galactic Minute” and then went to bed. Tomorrow was going to be another long day with a lot of things to get done.

Okay, so let’s talk about Part 3 of Chapter 15 of “Star Wars – Medstar I: Battle Surgeons, A Clone Wars Novel” by Michael Reaves and Stevey Perry…..Chapter 15 (Part 3): Then Bleyd opened the canopy of the ship with th evac suit set. He jumped from his ship to the opening of the garbage hatch noting how very cold space was. As soon as he hit the ships gravity field he dropped and then closed the hatch and was back on the Medstar. He activated the pressurization cycle and then looked out the viewport at Mathal’s ship as he activated the ion drive. The ship took off, whipping through space with the carbonite block still attached. He took off the vac suit and thought about what would happen now. An unidentified vessel would enter Seperatist space and would be unable to answer querries. The Seperatists would be forced to blow it out of the sky. The weapons they used would not leave enough evidence other than to know that a humanoid body would be found among the debris. Bleyd then changed into a carefully placed Admiral suit. He started to rehearse his viewpoint on what happened because he knew he would have to answer a truth scanner. He convinced himself of his story and there should be plenty of evidence to back-up his story. He knew the Black Sun would push their plan on him again at some point because this was only a stop gap, but by then he could putit on Filba and make more money on the bota in the meantime.

Sinopse: # STAR WARS – THE CLONE WARS
A República vence a batalha.

War The Clone Wars, was es versprach, also eine Bombe? Jein.

What a day! I got a lot done but I also worked through most of my day and was working through the night to catch up on things as well. I got a lot accomplished again, it’s just not all tangible things. It’s a good thing that I can convince myself that I am doing well and that I can entertain myself in my own way. I know, too much information, right? Okay, so I got myself ready for my day and the kids were already up and ready to go for their day. We ate breakfast together and watched “The Early Show” on CBS and found out the great news! First off, the Republicans won back the governorship of Virginia and New Jersey. More importantly, the Democrats are now worried about the next few years! I think they need to be worried. We got done watching the T.V. and then I was off to school while the kids were off to work.

I got things set up at work and had a decent day with my students. I was pretty happy with how things went with my school day. We did a day that was mostly music history and I have to say that things went pretty well. So well, that tomorrow two of my classes will actually be doing two days of recording for their music videos. I was happy with how today went and when my instructional day ended, I had a chance to record some information for the student I talked about yesterday and I have to say that it was fun to do the podcast recording today. Now all I need to do is record the student tomorrow and everything should work out well. I got done doing all of that and then headed home for the end of the day.

I got home and immediately set about to finish editing the last two “Clone Wars in a Galactic Minutes”. I had the first one done before dinner and ate dinner with the family nad then finished the second one after dinner and before the next episode of “Clone Wars” came on tonight. Not a lot of people kne that the current “Clone Wars” premiered tonight, but I watched that and then watched the “Jeff Dunham Show” rerun from last week. After that I watched “Criminal Minds” and “CSI: NY” and then went to bed.

Okay, so let’s talk about Part 1 of Chapter 13 of “Star Wars – Medstar I: Battle Surgeons, A Clone Wars Novel” by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry…..Chapter 13 (Part 1): Jos was comfortable sitting in the formchair adn he heard rumors that it relayed information back to merti to help with diagnosis, not that the Equani psychologist needed it. Jos was starring at the floor and then met Merit’s eyes as he asked him to talk about his feelings for Tolk. Jos’ mind drifted off again and Merit reminded him he was required to be here for one hour per week and he can either simply enjoy the furniture or try harder. Jos finally broke down and said that he felt like he just met Tolk yesterday. He said before she was just a co-worker to have drinks with and now she has become much more. But Jos said she can’t and Merit asked Jos if his feelings about offworlders belong to him or if his family has more input here. Merit then looked at his Chrono and said they had to stop. On his way out, Jos said his family was rooted in tradition not communication. Merit reminded him that all he needed to know was inside of him. Jos joked about the Jedi helping him by reading minds, but Merit worried that this was something he needed to explore on his own…..

Well, it’s Saturday and it’s one of the few Saturday’s that I have had nothing off

Well, it’s Saturday and it’s one of the few Saturday’s that I have had nothing officially planned on. I must enjoy them while they last because I’m not sure I will have that many of those in the future. I got up at nine o’clock this morning because I set my alarm to do so because I had a lot of work to do around the house and for myself just to clean things up and to try and actually get some things done. I went downstairs right away and did notes on the next two episodes of Season 2 of “Clone Wars” to get ready for recording for my podcast. As soon as I was done taking notes, I went upstairs and helped Heather put together Halloween decorations for tonight. Nothing fancy, just some black lights and webbing around the porch along with some jack o’lantern lights around the porch. We really don’t go all our for Halloween. We put all our money into Christmas. I got done with that and Heather wanted to make a quick trip to CVS, so we did.

We got back home and I ate some lunch with the kids and then went back downstairs and started to work on recording the next four “Clone Wars in a Galactic Minute” segments. I got them all recorded by two o’clock and then I went outside and joined Heather and the kids who had just finished raking up a neighbor’s yard and we finally had a moment to put our pool away, which was a miracle because I didn’t think that was ever going to happen. We at least got the pool into the garage and Heather promised me that she would get it all organized and put away by the end of the week. Then, while Heather was taking a nap, I watched some College Football and started to work on some problems with my costume that I needed to fix before tonight (minor problems like loose velcro). I got that done and Heather got up and we got dinner together. We sat down and ate dinner and had a trick or treater or two and then the kids and I got ready to go out. That is when Austin and I had another blow up. He had been bugging me for a new weapon for his Mando and I could not figure out why. Well, I found out tonight when I discovered that he had broken the one he’s been using back at the Cancer Walk. Something ELSE he’s lied about.

I got mad and at first I refused to go out. Eventually Heather talked me into going out and I even took Austin. We hit our neighborhood and the circle behind our house. We then went up to Ivan and came home to drop off some of the candy because the kids were getting so much. We then went back out and went acrossed the highway and hit some of those streets. Eventually we had to stop after about two hours because the girls had to pee. So, we headed back to the house and the girls used the restroom. We then got out of our costumes and then watched all three “Ice Age” movies till late in the morning. We figured we could since we were getting an hour back tonight! We got done and went to bed early Sunday morning.

Okay, so let’s talk about Part 2 of Chapter 11 of “Star Wars – Medstar I: Battle Surgeons, A Clone Wars Novel” by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry……Chapter 11 (Part 2): Nope you did not risk anything when ti came to your family especially monthrael and yithrael or honor and pride. But this was sport hunting and when you did that you evened the odds and the challenge was not to make a mistake because if you did you would risk your liffe. Bleyd knew, however, that Mathal was a predator that had managed to fight his way up the hierarchy of the Black Sun organization. Bley had bested Shistaranes with a lance, a Rancor with a pulley bow, and a Noghri with hook blades. he ahd yet to make an error on a sport hunt. He got to the knife and leaped into a position in the ventilation shaft that gave him the ability to hang upside down by his feet to watch the knife to drop down on his prey from above. Bleyd slowed his heart rate and began to relax. Mathal arrived in the vicinity of the knife rahter loudly and he cautiously approached the weapon. He made a sigh as he finally got the weapon inot his hand. The knife wa a fine blade with a non-slip grip and a decent sized blade. And Bleyd had researched that Mathal was an expert knife fighter. Bleyd knew he would need strength and skill but not luck. Then Bleyd dropped from above yelling at his prey and Mathal looked up in terror. Bleyd knocked the knife aside and went for his throat when they were joined…..

The animation progression shows a differentiation of matter in terms that the emotional investment predicated in their narratives show a diversification that balances both humor and effectiveness.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars The second season preliminaries show the paradox we want to see heightened which is the relationship between Padme and Anakin and the splitting of duty versus emotion. This is where the darkest elements come into play. Ahsoka, Anakin’s Padewan, is coming into her own but showing more signs of recklessness which is what is inherent in Anakin’s teachings. The key is to show Anakin’s furthering differential with the needs of the Jedi Council as the holes in their defense become bigger and bigger. The most outstanding technical advance is how good the immenseness of the passing star freighters look. The hardest thing is to create that sense of depth in a heightened comic book style. It gives a sense of intensity that heightens last season’s capabilities.

South Park The series is great simply and, in many ways, because of its quick turnaround which can sometimes be less than a week. What is becoming more apparent is within its interesting human subtext. While the first couple episodes attack essences such as wrestling, it is one of the first ones about ghosts which turns into the angle of Michael Jackson not being at peace that is the most interesting, but not for the gloved one. There is a moment at the beginning when Ike, Stan’s little brother, is seeing ghosts. Now granted it is Billy Ray coming after him but the general fear and emotion that Ike is played with is almost heartbreaking. It is interesting thinking this about “South Park” but these moments are becoming more prevalent and are what balance it out and interestingly give it more depth than the other animated programs. Think about “I’m So Lonely” from “Team America”. Here is Kim Jong Il, a quite despicable person whom the guys make almost sympathetic. Of course bodily functions and sex jokes come back almost immediately but the poignancy, ironically, is there.

Family Guy With two integrated sequences in the first two episodes, “Family Guy” still reigns as the king of cool despite the fact that many young viewers might not get it. From the premiere with its extended ode to Disney 2D animation to some snarky side comments to the “Superfriends” Opening Credits sequence around Episode 3, the intent is simply inspired for those who grew up with it in the early 80s. The personification of the characters simply is in full stride since they don’t have to prove anything anymore as long as the pop culture references are sweet. Some social commentary however fleeting doesn’t hurt either.

The Simpsons The pendulum of the “Family Guy” competition resonates here simply because of the difference in the age of the creators of the shows which is being more obviously personified as both productions go on (and will inevitably be compared). “The Simpsons” head team is slightly older so their references are more old school. A good example is in the Halloween episode which pays its tributes to Hitchcock and the New Wave filmmakers while McFarlane is all about Spielberg, Lucas and the like. Not to say that some of The Simpsons’ inklings aren’t inspired. However there is a growing differential. The ode to Salvador Dali in the Halloween episode shows the production’s ability to still slice but an earlier episode with Homer becoming the Everyman Hollywood superhero comes off a little flat.

The Penguins Of Madagascar The key here which is continually interesting is the evolution of what kids are able to process. While this is a Nickelodeon cartoon, some of the elements it angles into are definitely bordering within the realm of adult. One episode has the Penguins trying to teach Roger the alligator to become more aggressive. In doing so they end up switching out his brain for Rico (the Penguin Braun). This causes the pathological elements of the unstable penguin to wreak havoc on the regular streets on NY like something out of a horror movie. Another episode has a female gopher who had never been out of the zoo (she was born in captivity) going insane when she sees the space around her. The angles show a form of psychosis which is great when you can have the cartoons function on separate levels because kids a lot of the time will just go for the surface but subconsciously get the messages that are there. Of course, then you have the aspect when the King Lemur looses his ability to bootie shake because some African monkeys put a vex on him when his ego gets out of control. The balance is maintained but it is interesting to see how the creators of the filmmakers continue to challenge the small screen.

Animation continues to build in earnest in consideration of the different cross-sections of what is being produced but the superstructured is becoming more interesting because of the different outlets. “Clone Wars” is on a different level because it is independently produced. “South Park” continues to excel because of its ability to do a quick turnaround. However, it is the emotional resonance of some scenes that is starting to shine through. “Family Guy” and “The Simpsons” are like Jay and Conan: compatriots vying for the same audience while still on the same network. “Penguins” meanwhile flies under the radar and goes on its merry way.

The competition continues.

The computer animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars occurs in-between Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith of the live-action feature films, following the Jedi and Clone Troopers fighting in the war against the Separatists, throughout the galaxy. As in the prequel films, our main character is Anakin Skywalker, but the show also branches out beyond stories about Anakin or Obi-Wan Kenobi. Some episodes focus much more (or entirely) on other Jedi briefly glimpsed in the prequels, while others put the Clone Troopers center stage, giving us their perspective on life in the trenches.

The series got off to a rocky start – first with The Clone Wars movie, which should never have been put in theaters in the first place (it was originally intended to be the first few episodes of the series, and it felt like it), and then with the first couple of episodes. Right from the start, it was clear that the show had some very strong elements which were mirrored by some very weak elements – the latter most notably via the use of humor in the show. Comic relief and moments of levity are fine and welcome, but the comedy here was mostly provided by the Battle Droids, and it was incredibly frustrating and off-putting.

Friday and I can’t believe that I finally made it to the end of the week. I had so much I wanted to get done today but I knew there were going to be limitations with what I was going to get done. I got up this morning and Heather had the kids going already for the day. While they all ate breakfast, I took a quick shower and joined the kids and Heather was then off to work. We watched the “Early Show” on CBS as they continued an interview with the boy that impregnated Sarah Palin’s daughter. He claims that he is not on TV to get attention. Right! Then why IS he on TV. He’s an interesting guy making claims that he has information to prove that she has done illegal things as governor in Alaska. If that is really the case, then why the heck doesn’t he jsut reveal it and have her arrested? I just don’t understand why people would want to get itno situations like that and not follow through! Well, I tried not to get upset with that and decided it was time to go to work and the kids were off to school.

I got to school and partook in an event called “Wear a hat to stop Cancer”. The idea is that you buy a sticker to wear at school which allows you to wear a hat at school all day (as opposed to a Halloween costume) and the proceeds go to “The American Cancer Society”. So, I bought a sticker and wore my hat that I won from ScreenRant.com that was the hat that Woody Harrelson wore in Zombieland. It was a cool hat and everyone was asking me questions about it all day. On top of that, we had an assembly of a group called “Sounds of Silk”. So, our classes were cut short and I had to cut short all the time I had to work with for music video projects and classroom podcast projects. But, the assembly went well and I was pretty impressed with what it was about. It was all based on Chinese and Eastern concepts and had music, dance, contortionists, and circus acts of all kinds. It seemed as though the kids enjoyed the assembly. I made it through my day and managed to take everything down before the end of the day. I finished with school and after nearly avoiding an accident after school, I made my way home.

I got home and did some things around the house a minute and then started to grade papers. We had to eat dinner quick and Heather took off to do a sport bus run. While she did that, I went downstairs and continued to grade papers while watching “The Fresh Prince of Bel Aire” and “The Office” and finished grading. When I got done, I started taking notes on the first two episodes of Season 2 of “The Clone Wars” online. While I did that, Heather came home and we went to Wal Mart and got some things we needed for around the house including some stuff for Halloween. We got done and came home and I watched “Stargate Universe” and then went to bed.

Okay, so let’s talk about Part 1 of Chaper 11 of “Star Wars – Medstar I: Battle Surgeons, A Clone Wars Novel” by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry……Chapter 11 (Part 1): Mathal thought it was a joke as Bleyd had him disarmed at gunpoint. he told them they were insane! But Bleyd told him that the latch of the prize is locked but that the code is in his pocket. There is a knife in plain sight to arm himself and try to get the code from Bleyd with . Mathal threatens to break his neck now, but Bleyd reminds him that he is stronger and his race is more fierce. Mathal threatens that when he gets back to his vigo, Bleyd’s skull will be a cup. But Bleyd reminds him that he needs to get back to the vigo first. He told Mathal that he has two minutes to arm himself and that the next time they see each other one of them is going to die. Mathal ran off as Bleyd gave him the alloted time and respected it by waiting. He then walked down the corridor in the opposite direction knowing the weapon was closer to that side. His plan was to hide in waiting and kill Mathal as he tried to get the weapon. Bleyd couldn’t help but think that if he was hunting he would simply have pulled out his blaster and shot him……

Friday!! Thank goodness it’s Friday but it was going to be a long Friday to say the least. I

Friday!! Thank goodness it’s Friday but it was going to be a long Friday to say the least. I got up a little earlier this morning because I had so much to get done. So, I got up at six and was putting together all the equipment for our “Boo at the Zoo” event tonight. I was walking through all the things I would need, including all the winter gear because it was going to be a cold one tonight! I got that done in time to talk to Heather for a little bit and eat breakfast together as a family. We may not be together as a family until late tonight, so we thought now would be a good time to spend some time together. We ate breakfast and then Heather took off for work and I went into the shower. I finished getting dressed and watched the “Morning Show” on CBS and then was on my way to work while the kids were on their way to school.

I got to work and was there for little more than an hour until I got a message from Danny, a member of the Binghamton FanForce telling me he had heard on the radio that “Boo at the Zoo” was cancelled till next weekend. I had no confirmation of this information, so I could neither confirm nor deny the fact that it was happening. If it does, crap! My parents were supposed to be coming down next weekend to spend some time with my family. My feeling is that if it is cancelled, then I can only do Friday night and not Saturday. Sure enough, Heather called and confirmed that it was cancelled and moved to next weekend. So, out went the emails and the phone calls.

I finished with all of that during my prep time. My classes seemed to go okay today. I had a lot to get done with all of my students and really didn’t have time to goof around with them. My eighth graders finished a segment on “Jazz” by Ken Burns and then did the last bit of research for their music video projects. My seventh graders finished research and started scripting podcasts. And my sixth graders watched a little more of Season 8 of “American Idol” with some guiding question sheets. Overall, it was not a bad day and I can say that it led into a decent evening as well.

Since we had no “Boo at the Zoo”, Heather and I decided that we would take the kids and head over to Susquehanna Valley Middle School and watch her volleyball match. So, as soon as Heather got home, we headed out. She drove since she knew where we were going and we found the building and the gym. The girls tried so hard today, but just came up short in the game. They even came up really short in the whole match yet again and lost all three games. It’s a shame because they work so hard and there were some amazing volleys, but they always seemed to come up just short.

On our way home, we picked up a pizza from “Bella’s” and took it home. We finished dinner just in time to watch the next episode of “The Clone Wars” which Ian came over and joined me in watching. It wasn’t a bad episode, but definetly not the best episode of this season again. I have to say that I think it has to do with Anakin. Anytime there is an episode that focuses on him, it just seems pointless! We got done watching the show and Ian and I talked for a little bit and then he left and I watched “Stargate: Universe” which is getting a little better, but is still not as good as “Stargate: SG-1″. I then went online and tried to find “Law and Order: SVU” and finally found it on a website and played it on my PS3 and Heather and I stayed up late at night to watch that and went to bed late.

Okay, so let’s talk about Part 1 of Chapter 7 of “Star Wars – Medstar I: Battle Surgeons, A Clone Wars Novel” by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry…..Chapter 7 (Part 1): The spy had been on this planet for two months working for the Republic on this Rimsoo and hated every minute of it. He especially hated the spore that seemed to clog everything up. The spy missed home and it took a year for the seed that he planted to come true. He wasn’ t sure how Dooku was able to accomplish all that he had, but he did work on his spy identity to ensure he would not get caught. The Confederacy had laid down his ground work well. He looked at a holo of the Rimsoo and noted there wasn’t much here. But, the bota made all of this invaluable. He watched as the next bota transport lifted off and it quickly got over the spores to avoid damage. Then, as quickly as it moved, it exploded The spy was not happy with having to do it, but it was done towards a larger goal, the loss of lives was regrettable…..

Sinopse: # STAR WARS – THE CLONE WARS
A República vence a batalha.
