Yeah, some new games showing up in the top again. “Balls” enters at #6 (great pool game btw) and “AppPack” at #9. FortressCraft still king of the hill.

HA! Finaly some changes! Yesterday i was yawning at the lack of changes in the top, and wondering if the new system was the reason for it. Well today we have 2 new games entering the top10, at #2 and #4 ! Also of note: both Lacrosse games are gone from the top10. Both of these games are selling for 400 MSP, i wonder if this is the reason for their sudden fall and if the new system has something to do with it. I have decided to add the price of the games to add details to the top.

Broken mini-blinds let in too much morning light, waking me up every few hours. Dimples apparently didn’t clue in to the (I thought) obviousness of my AWOL. Almost every member of the EBC (Ex-Boyfriend Contingent) is bounding off into happily ever after land with new girlfriends.

Naturally, I’m also going through serious carb withdrawal and Pesach starvation, prompted by my usual optimism that “I’ll just live off fresh fruits and salads and grilled chicken.” Apparently, once again I’ve managed to conveniently ignore that my typical daily fare includes cookies, granola and candy by the handful.

And yes, there was a post-Seder chat with T.

It’s the day after the second Seder. I suppose in a sense that’s my anniversary of the Great T Dumpage. (Or not so great for those who know the story.

Last night’s call was prompted by a bit of evil on my side. I told T I was having dinner with S – a tall, corporate lawyer with a “penchant for Prada suits.” I left out that it was S and one of his friends/ex-girlfriends and that, oh yeah, S was actually Aspie’s Dude  and the dinner was an Orthodox Seder.

T’s texted response was entertaining: “crack cocaine to you.”

I started to feel bad (and yet, intrigued by the game), when the ante was upped: “Just wondering how nervous I have to be about my competition” and “Because I cannot be there in person to wow you.”

After dinner, I did confess the decidedly less than romantic nature of the event and he (fortunately) found it slightly entertaining.

And we veered into the usual topics: life in general, our upcoming trip in specific. A dumb question on my side revealed that I haven’t yet started my dive homework and earned me a rightful reminder that with only five weeks left, I’m running out of procrastination time.

“I’m in good hands,” I said.

“I know. And I hope you’ll soon be in good hands with more than one meaning.”

????!?!?!?!?!

Aughh. I can take that a thousand different ways. “In good hands,” as in screaming into his shoulder as those good hands work their awe-inspiring skill?

Or “in good hands” in a different, deeper, “this isn’t just a sex-cation” type of way?

He feels “unbridled optimism” for this trip. He is talking about second tries.

And I? I don’t know what I feel.

Excitement. Nerves. Sexual frustration. Anxiety.

I don’t know if I dare echo his optimism.

Am I doing as my students and overanalyzing all of this? Oh, no doubt. And yes, my dear readers, I’m aware that some of you are counting down for this trip as much as I am.

A few night ago, T and I took a fun little walk down memory lane… the type of memory lane that’s perhaps better described as a “lover’s lane.”

I know he says he has a photographic memory, but geez.

I thought I had a great memory, but I don’t remember the first time we had sex or the first time we almost had sex. He does. And of course, when he mentioned it, the memory flooded back: drinking and dancing with a girlfriend, telling her all about him, plotting to have him serve as our designated driver, dropping her off, grabbing a handful of rubbers, and then, apparently, seducing him at my place. Now, I remember the handful of rubbers that Jen handed me, my student health center dollars hard at work.

I don’t remember the kitchen counter in his old apartment or the day of the rug-burns.

I don’t remember telling him to “shut up and fuck me already,” although I don’t doubt that the thought probably crossed my mind at least once.

What I remember is disturbingly minimal. I remember the time we “invented” a new sexual position on the waterbed in his guestroom. I remember wanting to jump him after a long bike ride, joking that it was a matter of “increased blood flow.”

I remember the last time I saw him, giving him a hug good-bye, feeling his body against mine, heat radiating off his skin, that familiar quiver in my stomach, the rising tide of desire. I remember him kissing me and then suggesting one more time for old time’s sake. I remember wanting, feeling his want, and somehow managing to say no. (To be fair, my boyfriend at the time was picking up moving boxes for me. It would have been pretty trashy.)

And I remember, before we broke up, being in bed on a weekend morning, looking down and seeing a huge arm draped across my body… A huge arm that is attached to the hands that I’m trusting to keep me alive and out of trouble (or in it) in less than five weeks.

The Impossible Game Level Pack leaves the top 10 for the first time in a long time. Undead Empire back in the top 10.

Lacrosse must be a pretty famous game to be that much downloaded and be able to have 2 games in the top… Wonder how a decent soccer game would do.

Toy Stunt Bikes and Avatar Paintball switch places at #3 and #4. Otherwise the same little moves but nothing new.

Meh.

Still the same at the 4 top positions. Wish there was more dynamic and we’d see a greater variety of games but that’s the way the top download seems to work these days…

Very little  changes since yesterday…

The Most Addicting Sheep Game enters the top at #6. That’s a good thing, it’s a fun game. FortressCraft Chapter 1 stays on top of the list.

FortressCraft Chapter 1 enters straight at #1! What looks like a Minecraft clone with only building capabilities  but pretty rendering, could very well stay at the top for a while. It already has almost 3000 positive ratings just 2 days after release.  Nicely done!
