Well I just typed this whole thing up and right as I was about to click “publish” Firefo

Well I just typed this whole thing up and right as I was about to click “publish” Firefox crashed. Firefox has always been so good to me, and I have always been so good to him. Why the backstabbing? Nothing that I typed before was of any importance, so I’m going to think of something new to write this time. I lied, this next part I wrote last time.

Nothing good nor bad happened today. I’m not happy, I’m not sad, I’m just kind of coasting along. “All I hear is static, my brains on automatic, my emotions are on cruise control” in the words of The Lillingtons. I think it’s easier to just not think about things that aren’t immediately a threat or beneficial to me. Running away from your problems is always a good idea, life lesson. I am still desperately looking for a job, how sad is it that they won’t hire me at McDonalds because of my previous experience there. Walking out mid shift was a bad call. I would eventually regret working there anyways.

One thing that has been bother me for a while is my classes in school. Now I’m fine with going to school, I’m fine with doing the work, but some of the teachers would be better suited as sleep therapists. I’ve never once slept in school before, but these teachers make it sound pretty appealing. It’s gut-wrenching to know that I am paying thousands of dollars to have some middle aged women show me how to move an icon and t0 use a scanner. If you can’t do either of those then why would I even be in a graphic design program? There’s another old man who gets sidetracked in his thoughts before they even leave his mouth. According to the school these are “Some of the best in the business”, I pray that someday I can make what they are making to ramble for 4 hours a week.

The people that I go to school with aren’t any better. I find it nearly impossible to comprehend somebody that can’t use a computer being in college. Especially going for a computer arts degree. The rest of the people are either old men trying to teach the class or just unimportant to everyone else. (Sorry Derek, Jonathan, and Jake. Oh and that cute blond girl that I talked to today, um…Faith? I think so. You are all exceptions).

Me and Jonathan witnessed a very dirty, greasy man (who clearly should not have been on our side of the school) hitting on some girl today. It wouldn’t be a big deal, but this girl looked like she took 2 hours getting ready before she even left her house this morning. I don’t think she would have even looked at this kid given the opportunity. After a solid 15 minutes of attempting to get with this girl he finally gave up, but before leaving he went for the handshake, bad idea. She looked disgusting and as a response he offered to touch elbows with her. I’m almost embarrassed to be typing this, I can’t imagine how she felt.

I made some pancakes today out of pre-made Muffin Mix in a frying pan.Resourceful college student, or Macguyver? Your choice. They were absolutely amazing, but I ate half of the batter before I even cooked it. Next time maybe I’ll have some self control and I’ll get more than two pancakes.

My next entry is going to be a CD review of Teenage Bottlerocket’s They Came From The Shadows. It might be up tonight or early tomorrow, I’m not sure yet.
