Did I miss something?? Since when was Diddy become Puff Daddy again??

This tracks right here is the shit. The Lox came into it and just destroyed the whole thing. When I say destroyed I mean that ina good way. Because as great as this is, Mademen and Benzino came and destroyed it in a bad way. If you just listen to the back and forth bars by Jadakiss & Styles P. and Sheek’s verse you’ll be good. The Mademen part is horrible. Being that this is already a classic because it was in the soundtrack to one of my favorite movies from the late 90’s “Belly”. I think it would of been better recognized if it wasn’t Benzino’s joint in the first place. Benzino takes more L’s then Nas and Prodigy do. But those are other stories….

My homie, Brent, from ICED Media sent this poster over today, so I wanted to share it with you all. Brent told me that I should expect this by Monday morning, at the latest, so stop back Monday for the download.

Diddy and the Dirty Money girls Dawn and Kaleena came out to shake a leg at Latin Quarters in New York a couple nights back, for no reason other than to bond outside of the studio, I guess.

Last night, The Lox and Diddy linked for secret meeting in New York and publicly announced the gathering through their own Twitter pages.

Taking place in Harlem, Styles P said he was having an organic drink with Puff.

“In meeting with @iamdiddy !!! And the rest of the lox!,” Styles wrote Tuesday (December 15) night. “@DJOP BARK IS THE TRUTH!!!!” (Styles P’s Twitter)

Diddy also confirmed the gathering was taking place in the Big Apple.

“In a meeting with the LOX!Let’s go!!!,” he wrote. “Having a bark shot and juicing up with my brother @therealstylesp fruits of life 125th btw park and madison 1! On way to latin quarters with the bad boy dirty money crew!!!! Let’s go nyc! Let’s go! Let’s go!” (Diddy’s Twitter)

According to Lox’s Sheek Louch, an exact release date for their new album has not yet been determined, however, the Bad Boy reunion is still expected.

“I got an answer for that, I really think I got an answer,” Sheek said about the forthcoming album. “Yo word up, top of the year, Lox album is coming. I would love for it to come then, we’re working actually with Puff, with Sean Combs. We working out that. Puff Daddy, we working that out. We working that out and hopefully it goes down. It’s gonna be Interscope/Bad Boy/D-Block. Oh yo, slash Ruff Ryders, I’m sorry, I can’t leave my boys out. It’s like a big thing because we still Interscope. We still Ruff Ryders. From Jadakiss‘ perspective, a new Lox album is well over-due to the fans.

“Our main focus right now is that Lox album,” Jada stressed in an interview. “It might be coming out through Diddy, it might be coming out through some other people, but it’s going down. Yeah, Diddy just did a new deal with Interscope as y’all know with his Dirty Money and all his other stuff, he put an offer out there for a one album deal over there, so you know, we thinking about making it. If it don’t make dollars, it could make cents and we’ll do it again. It’s about the evolution, it’s about growing. We came into the business with him, despite our differences [because] of our lack of knowledge in the game and other sh*t and what so, we still learned a lot from him and to work all them things out and make a full 360 and possibly work again with him after ten years — that would be incredible. It shows maturity as artists, it shows respect as men and it’s good for the outside far as what he can do for us and what we can do for him.” (Power 99)

A keyboardist/producer/vocalist, Dexter Wansel was a major force in the explosion of the Philadelphia sound during the ’70s and’80s. He formed his first groups with Stanley Clarke during highschool. Wansel signed a solo deal with Philadelphia International Records in 1976 and the company issued his debut LP “Life on Mars”. The title cut was a favorite on the fusion circuit. Wansel recorded other LPs in the same style during the late ’70s. He is recognized for his impact as a writer, producer, conductor and arranger. He worked closely with M.F.S.B, and their 1980 release ” Mysteries of the World”. Wansel worked with a variety of recording legends as a writer and/or producer. Such artists as Patti Labelle, Teddy Pendergrass, Billy Paul, Jerry Butler, The Stylistics, Jean Carne, Stevie Wonder, The Jacksons , and the late Phyllis Hyman and Grover Washington Jr. His music has influenced and been used by more recent artist such as Jay-Z, The Lox, Jamiroquai, Incognito,! Junior, Loose Ends and many others.

Ruff Ryders, the powerhouse entertainment brand that’s produced some of the biggest Hip-Hop records over the last decade, is proud to announce several new projects for 2010: a reunion album featuring rap stars DMX, Eve, and The Lox, the formation of Ruff Ryders Indy and the long-awaited third LP from Bronx fire-spitter Drag-On.

Supported with tracks by Swizz Beatz, the RR compilation album, entitled Ruff Ryders Evolution:  Generation I, includes the “Who’s Real Remix” featuring Jadakiss, Eve, Drag-On, Styles P, Sheek Louch, and DMX.

The album will also feature newly-signed double-R emcee, Mook, and of course Drag-On, who will release My Life, My Legacy, My Melody in March.

“Over the last 20 years, my family and I have built the Ruff Ryders brand on good music, original talent and hard work,” says Waah Dean, Ruff Ryders president/CEO. “Now, we are entering a new chapter of our company with album releases from Drag, Mook and the Ruff Ryder team, as well as the creation of our new ‘Ruff Ryder Indy’ division.”

Established this summer, Ruff Ryder Indy is a national distribution company serving independent artists with various album budgets. Its first project is Drag-On’s My Life, My Legacy, My Melody. The release is a 50-50 venture between Ruff Ryder Indy and Drag-On’s Hood Environment label which he founded three years ago.

“I’ve reinvented myself and created a whole new sound,” says the rapper born Mel Small, adding that My Life will be his last album with Ruff Ryders. “I’m trying to create another umbrella in this game with my label Hood Environment and my artists Da Dude and Eyez.B. However, I’m still the original ‘Fire-Man.’”

The more things change the more the stay the same.  After all the issue between the 2 parties, the LOX have returned to the label that made them.  That’s right the LOX are officially back with Diddy and BadBoy!

It’s is said that the L.O.X. [Living off Xperience] (Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, & Styles P) are going back to Puffy and Bad Boy Records. The group was once signed with Bad Boy in the late 1990’s, now they’ll will be back signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy Records/Interscope Records/Ruff Ryders Ent./and D-Block. The up and coming album “New L.O.X Order” is set to drop in 2010.

Red Cafe a.k.a. Jermain Denny has written lots of lyrics over the past years, for all kind of great persons – you name ‘em.

He’s favourite for songs like Bling Blao and Diddy Bop, which featured Fabolous,  Kardinal Offishal, Currency and Coco Chanel. He also had a show up role in the biography move Biggie where he battled Notorious for a fight, that really took place like that.

In 2009 he got signed on Bad Boy.  In April he then released the first single, called Hottest In Da Hood, which Diddy, Jadakiss, Rick Ross and OJ Da Juiceman on the remix,of his upcoming album.
