After hearing about it over the course of the past couple months, Lyrics Born has released his new mixtape – Lyrics Born Variety Show Season 5: On The Floor. As you probably deduced from the title, this is the 5th installment in this particular mixtape series, with mix work done courtesy of DJ Ice Water and all the songs reworked into the 2-step/boogie genre. With Lyrics Born Variety Show Season 5 On The Floor set to drop at the end of the month, it’s expected to see more nad more information leak about the project. In this particular case, it’s not just information, but an actual song to give us an idea of what’s to come. Those who have been following L Beezy for a while may remember a song called “The Bay” from the Same !@#$ Different Day album. L Beezys the world over should be pretty stoked about this announcement. Tsutomu “Tom” Shimura, better known as Lyrics Born, has unveiled his latest project, the 5th installment in the Lyrics Born Variety Show mixtape series. This one is entitled On the Floor and is comprised of two step and boogie remixes of his material. It is scheduled to drop on the second to last day of Feburary, 2012 – the 28th and will ahve some big features on board including Proh of the Far East Movement.
