I came across this cool heavy metal band called “Headaches.”

Decided to share them with all my readers.

HeadAcheS was formed in 2005 and performed a Tribute to Slipknot. There were 6 members at the beginning : Guillaume T.Fortin (Lead Vocals), Antoine T.Fortin (Lead Guitar), David T.Fortin (Drum), Keven St-Pierre (percussion/back vocals), Dave Lapointe (Bass) and Alexandre Esculier (Rythm Guitar). Nelson Parent joined them as second back vocalist and percussionnist. Later, the rythm guitarist leaved the band and Julien Chiasson joined them. They played SlipKnot for more than a year until they stop. Now, HeadAcheS put efforts to compose and produce original their own music in a Nu Melodic Metal style.

Se poate? Se poate sa simti ca azi te sufoci de iubire si maine…sa nu mai simti nimic?  Asta este intrebarea care ne macina pe multi dintre noi.

Zilele trecute un prieten mi-a spus sa scriu despre cum o fata trece de pe o zi la alta la alte sentimente. Ei doi s-au iubit ff mult si chiar ma gandeam ca au sa sfarseasca impreuna pentru tot restul vietii. Dar surpriza! El mi-a spus ca ea a fost in strainatate o perioada si cand a venit..era total schimbata. Si mi-a spus cum poate o tara sa schimbe mentalitatea. Eu acum i-as spune lui si voua, ca nu numai o tara poate schimba mentalitatea sau sentimentele. Chiar si un gest poate schimba asta. Chiar si o vorba.

Femeile in general sunt nehotarate, schimbatoare si capricioase. Barbatii sunt mandrii, posesivi si incapatanati. Amestecand calitatile sau defectele acestea….am obtine un talmes-balmes.

Da…da…un cuvant poate schimba sentimentele. Exista cuvinte care te pot transforma intr-un nimeni, intr-un nimic… Cum exista cuvinte care te inalta, te fac sa te simti minunat. Nu degeaba se spune ca un cuvant este mai ascutit ca taisul unei sabii.

Intotdeauna va fi un alt munte. Intotdeauna voi dori sa il mut. Intotdeauna va fi o lupta dificila. Uneori trebuie sa pierd. Nu conteaza cat de repede ajung acolo, nu conteaza cine asteapta pe partea cealalta…e urcusul. Da…asa este. Trebuie sa invatam sa ne controlam. Sa fim mai siguri pe noi si sa avem mai multa incredere in sentimente. Si chiar sa ne gandim ca… daca ceva nu iese cum vrem noi este pentru ca poate acel lucru nici nu era pentru tine. Poate ca noi meritam altceva, mai bun.

Poate ca ne temem de sentimentele noastre atat de puternice, ne speriem si noi de intensitatea lor. Dar asta nu inseamna ca trebuie sa renuntam la ele. Viata si dragostea sunt permanent intr-un urcus si un coboras. Nu tot timpul e la fel.  De obicei este o urare care si-o spun multi intre ei si anume “Sa va iubiti ca in prima zi”. Eu spun Doamne fereste de asa ceva!!!  Noi trebuie sa crestem zi de zi in iubire. Nu sa ramanem constanti. Trebuie ca zi de zi sa ne gandim ce mai trebuie sa facem pentru partenerul nostru, pentru aproapele nostru si sa ne creasca iubirea fata de el. Si in special iubim deplin atunci cand invatam sa iertam. Exista o lege aspra… cand impotriva noastra se comite o dureroasa nedreptate nu ne putem vindeca decat dupa ce iertam. Si asta este. Daca nu iertam…zi de zi vom avea ura in suflet si nu vom avea liniste, pace…

Ce ciudat… ce ciudat e sa iti doresti din suflet sa gasesti iubirea, iar atunci cand o gasesti sa ti se taie dreptul la ea…atunci cand in sfarsit simti cu adevarat ca exista….cand in sfarsit iubirea devine reala…ea sa devina concomitent si imposibila… Si de ce? Pentru ca TU sau EU, sau altcineva…nu avem puterea si taria sa acceptam intensitatea emotiilor. Pentru ca noi..suntem niste simpli oameni care ne temem sa iubim, ne temem…ne este frica pana si de noi. Si cu totii stim asta. In adancul inimii.

Si…ti-ai pus intrebarea ca Daca cineva pe care niciodata nu l-ai intalnit, niciodata nu l-ai vazut, niciodata nu l-ai stiut…a fost UNICUL si singurul CINEVA pentru tine?

Ow…ZIKS ! est de retour pour sa dixième édition ! Et comme d’habitude, 3 nouveaux titres sont disponibles en écoute sur le jukebox ( à droite toujours, il a pas bougé le bougre )

Au menu cette semaine, trois morceaux de style différents :

- Quotes, par dredg sur l’album dont j’ai déjà parlé maintes fois ici : The Pariah, The Parrot, The Delusion. Un morceau sublime pour un album qui l’est tout autant. Poétique et lyrique ( l’album complet est inspiré lyricalement mais aussi musicalement d’un essai du célèbre Salman Rushdie : A Letter to the Six Billionth Citizen ) Quotes est un des titres les plus aboutis du groupe.

- The Only One remixé par 30 seconds to Mars . Le groupe du célèbre acteur Jared Leto nous revisite ici un des plus gros succès de The Cure. Psychédéliquement somptueux.

- Chicago ( Multiple Personality Disorder Version ) de Sufjan Stevens. L’ambitieux Sufjan qui nous avait promis un album pour chaque état d’Amérique se fait un peu silencieux ces derniers temps. Il n’empêche qu’on revient toujours avec plaisir sur ses albums, et Chicago reste probablement la musique la plus sympatique du beau brun.

man o, complete with the grizzliest (hehe) andy hull you’ve ever seen, do a great acoustic rendition of their album opener, the only one. ignore the fact that it’s for one of the worst publications in america and get on this album kiddos. the hype is no joke.

Manchester Orchestra plan to release Mean Everything To Nothing on April 21st. If you can’t wait until then to hear the new songs, you’re in luck. The band, along with directors Clay Lipsky and Jason Bognacki, filmed videos for all eleven songs off the album and will be premiering them one-by-one in the coming weeks. You can see the video for “The Only One” over at absolutepunk.net, while the video for “Shake It Out” is up over at spin.com.

Manchester Orchestra released the video for the first song off their new album, Mean Everything To Nothing. The song is called “The Only One” and the video can be seen here. Thanks to the guys at Absolute Punk for this one.

Mean Everything To Nothing is released on April 21st, and could easily be a contender for Album Of The Year. Make sure you pick this up when it comes out.

they say people that gather in a same place usually have the same taste, or at least similar. Well, i agree with that. recently, my boss bought a new The Cure CD and of course she put all the songs on Itunes along with The cure greatest hits. and she post one of her favorite The Cure song titled “The only one ” on her blog. I only know The Cure from “friday i’m in love” and “Boys don’t Cry”. and because she told me to listen to their new album titled 4:13 dreams, i think it’s a good idea. Once i hear the album, i got stuck on two songs:“The real Snow White” and (yes she’s right) “The Only One”. and damn, i cant stop listening to this two songs.

here is my fav lines from The real Snow White:

not forget to mention that my new office mate named poppy also has the same opinion about Tokyo Jihen and Shiina Ringo. WE HEART THEM BOTH yay! ^^. we really enjoyed the song “Stem” by Shiina Ringo (this song has two version, one in English titled Stem, and one in Japanese titled Kuki)

Qué curiosos son estos The Cure, y no lo digo precisamente por su estética. Resulta que Robert Smith y compañía no han publicado su nuevo disco todavía, pero les ha faltado tiempo para lanzar al mercado nada más ni nada menos que tres singles hasta el momento. El primero fue The Only One allá por el mes de mayo en Reino Unido, el día 13, al que siguió Freakshow en junio, también el día 13, y por último Sleep When I’m Dead en —adivina— julio, día 13. ¿Eran o no curiosos?
