Here I am finding myself staring blankly at the screen: I don’t have anything to say today.

WHAAAAA? Marguerite? THE Marguerite? Who seems to never shut up and speaks sooooo fast that we only understand her maybe 60% of the time?? Ok, ouch. Maybe I didn’t need to make fun of myself that much, that one kinda stings. Even though I know it’s true

I couldn’t tink of anything worth talking about. Sure, there’s stuff on my mind. But nothing that would be of interest here.

I woke up at 5:55am (EXACTLY) wide awake. I had gone to bed around 1:00am. I began to freak out because I couldn’t remember when my art paper was due. 12 pages. Is it this tuesday?! I still don’t know. But i have a vague memory that my teacher said to leave the paper in his mailbox, which would mean that it must be due after the last class when we don’t see him anymore. I hope i’m right.

I’m also thinking of buying TS2 Apartment Life. Shut up foo’. I don’t care if that sounds dorky. TS2 is helluva lotta fun. Especially after being a veteran of it all (i think my first Sims was from when i was 11???), i know every trick in the game. And i love abusing them. How so? Hacking into the games. Getting my sims to have bizarre lives. Like this one:

I have a grumpy old man named Mr. Friggert Cripplebooty (yes, i excpect much praise for the name i have him hahahaha) who lives in a lighthouse. He is attracted to vampires and he’s having an affair with the maid. This one sim, for some reason I swear to God I did not do, insists on running into his house in the middle of the night to slap him. WTF, right? She does it to a bunch of other sims in my neighborhood too. Not really sure why the game is doing that, its never happened before.

Anyway, Mr. Cripplebooty adopted a stray cat named Sake (like Japanese Sake), and the cat is in show business. That is the only income Mr. Cripplebooty gets. And to make the game more fun, i hack into it and give him all sorts of extra features that you aren’t supposed to have, and to be more morbid than i already am i use a code to get “Rodney’s Death Creator” made by one of the programmers. This spawns a gravestone that if you click on it, you have about 9 choices on how you want the sim you’ve selected to die. Since I hate the sims that the game comes with, i make sure that they “go away”. And Mr. Cripplebooty loves zombies, so he can call back the dead and get the same sim back but they’re now a zombie.

And as if that wasn’t enough, I’ve downloaded thousands (i beieve i’m at 3,149 now?) of custom content to make my houses awesome. Because I’m still deep down an architect (I wanted to be an architect for the longest time) i usually spend more time building amazing houses and buildings than playing with the sim people. I make buildings in the Gothic, Renaissance, Beaux-Arts, Second Empire, Richardsonian, Georgian, Victorian, and crappy-50’s-60’s-architecture style, just because i love building.

I’ve always loved building things. I started off with Duplo’s (remember them?), then Lego’s (WHICH i still love btw…frickin amazing invention!), then i got into computers, so now Sims is where i do all my building. Besides, it saves floor space by using the sims now too

I always loved making little cities, making sure there was all the amentities and such. But then i would never make a story or anything. I hated dolls, i didn’t like playing pretend with them. Until i met my bff (WHOM is still my very bff today! for 13 years and going strong!) and we both began to have fun being morbid and such with Barbie’s and Lego’s, then in computer games, and now when we do films, we generally have some bizarre morbid thing happen too.

(We are hoping to do a spoof of the movie “Bend it Like Beckham”, and towards the end when the main character Jess and her friend Jules are waving goodbye at Heathtrow airport, we both thought it would be great to have Altaïr from Assassin’s Creed come in an assassinate Jules, since we both found her rather annoying…or is it because of Keira Knightley? hmm.)

I’ll be at Heathrow for an hour while going to Paris. Maybe i’ll get to film some of it (though i doubt it because of all these secuerity issues) so our movie will look more believable haha.

Well, that was boring. But it gave me 8min of distraction from my Theatre Paper of Death and such. hehe

I made this lot with mods. Its red, black and white which is why I call it ‘newspaper‘. This is one of my favorite ones that I have built/designed so far. I haven’t uploaded it to The Sims 3 site because I kept getting a network error and even if I could, people would have to download all the mods that I have to actually enjoy the house like I did.

Well I haven’t played the game since my save files have totally disappeared. I’m still trying to figure out why all of my save files just magically disappeared off my computer. Save file recovery programs couldn’t even find them either. Its like the save files never existed. All it left me was the ‘BACKUP’ files and I’m sure you can’t use those. What’s weird that it didn’t delete any of the lots that I’ve created, even all the Sims I created was still there, just the save files were gone for all of my games. If that isn’t a reason to stop playing The Sims 3, I don’t know what is.

I’m not much of a landscaper but I might open up the game and do a little landscaping around the house. It does look a bit plain but its not bad…I guess. The pink and white house that’s in some of the screen shots was made by me of course and you can go here to download it. Its not made with any mods so you shouldn’t have a problem downloading it. My boyfriend said the game reminded him of Mirror’s Edge because of the random places where there are red walls.

What’s black, white and ‘read’ all over? A newspaper….Lol.

Yeah really long time since I’ve last wrote here. I think anyway. I mean i got my aunts old laptop and its as slow as shit so I’m getting a new one and keeping that one for the sims, but anyway the laptop is so slow i kinda DREAD going on it so i haven’t blogged for fizzing ages. Tbh i don’t have anything to write about now. Oh I’m going to London on Sunday to see a tennis match and guess who we’re seeing?? Only bloody RFed! Lol Roger Federer that is btw. I mean I’m not a big tennis fan but i like it and shit. But seeing Roger is going to be FREAKING AMAZING I MEAN BLOODY HELL! I am gonna take a LOOOAAADDDD of pictures. Lolage. Gawd there is something on the wall (bug of some kind) that is annoying me. I hope its not a cockroach cause then it might be Rita Skeeta!! Gawd I’m such a HP nerd! Anyways byyyeeee ily x

Dá para escolher traços no seu sim envez dos signos do the sims 2. Dá para sair de casa e visitar seus amigos, a biblioteca, a academia, etc. Dá para escolher sua comida, sua cor e seu estilo de música favorita. Dá pra comprar carro e bicicleta. Dá para escolher durante o trabalho várias ações (depende do trabalho) como puxar saco do chefe, trabalhar duro, relaxar, conhecer colegas de trabalho, etc.

Nie ukrywam, że gry to moja pasja. Niedługo wybije liczba 11 odkąd zacząłem grać. Pamiętam tą pierwszą produkcję, którą ujrzały moje oczy na moim nowym ukochanym już komputerze. To była gra nosząca tytuł Heart of Darkness. Powstała w roku 1998. Zaprojektował ją wtedy Eric Chahi. Opowiada ona o chłopcu noszącym imię Andy. Pewnego dni źli kosmici porywają jego psiego przyjaciela. On chcąc go odbić rusza na inną planetę skonstruowanym przez siebie statkiem. Kilka chwil mija i już znajduje się na obcej planecie. Już od pierwszych chwil musi walczyć z wrogimi istotami. Jednak nie wręcz. Do tego celu ma przygotowany, również przez siebie blaster. Sama gra to znakomita zręcznościówka, która pochłonęła mnie w owym czasie do reszty.

Kolejną grą jaką uruchomiłem był Quake 2. Jeszcze dziś pamiętam tą znakomitą grafikę trójwymiarową. Zapierała ona wtedy dech w moich małych jeszcze płucach. Już po kilku minutach gry poczułem wyjątkowy klimat Quake’a. Był mroczny a za razem wciągający. Przedzierałem się przez kolejne etapy jak najszybciej się dało. Wrogowie padali jeden za drugim. W ten oto sposób spędziłem co najmniej kilkadziesiąt godzin swojego jakże cennego życia.

Starcie nr 3 nastąpiło jakiś czas po erze Quake’a. Wtedy to stanąłem na zielonej murawie by wygrać mecz z wrogą drużyną Arsenal. To było kilka minut po odpakowaniu świeżej jeszcze Fify 99. Twór gości z Electronic Arts mimo trudności jakie miałem wtedy ze sterowaniem moim teamem przypadł mi bardzo do gustu.

To tyle na razie. Za jakiś czas postaram się opisać więcej gier, które podczas mojego życia mnie zachwyciły.

I got a new laptop from my college when I started.  This meant my old laptop, fondly nicknamed Jetplane, has retired to a post as my primary desktop computer.  It’s hooked up to a second monitor, an external harddrive, a real keyboard and house, and sits on a nice stand to allow extra airflow.  The extra airflow is mostly due to the fact that Jetplane had a fan crap out about a week before I moved to college, and it overheats if it’s not getting good airflow going.  The name jetplane is also due to the fact that its remaining fans run very loudly and pretty much constantly.  It was never a quiet laptop to begin with, but it’s way worse now.

Anyways, I think probably due to the overheating issues… I’m sure when it overheated and shut off, I melted something or.. I don’t know. Broke it in some way.  But now I can’t use the computer for more than about 2 minutes — usually less — before the main laptop screen goes black and the secondary monitor starts flashing this headache inducing bright blue/black/lime green pattern over the whole screen.  It gave me the BSOD once about a week and a half ago, worked fine for a few more days, and it’s been doing this nauseating pattern since.

I’m getting ready to reformat and start with a fresh install of windows, and it’s really disappointing.  Thankfully I’ve kept my music and pictures on an external always, just in case of this situation, but there  are still a few things I need to get off the laptop itself.  My Sims 2 save files namely, and then some other photoshop work in progress things, and I’m sure I’ll find more.

I’m scared to death to reformat my poor laptop and lose data. I upgraded my school laptop, which I’d only had for about a month, to Windows 7, and even getting that back setup how I liked it sucked.

Shoot. This isn’t fun at all.

‘Cyclic Redundancy Error’ is usually caused by a registry issue can usually be fixed with a registry scan. But just in case you can always try these solutions.

1. You will want to attempt a hard drive installation of the game. In this process, you copy the game files to the Desktop, so that the disk, although necessary for running the game, is not necessary for installation.

1. Right-click the Desktop, select New, and select Folder.
2. Insert the Install Disk into the drive.
3. Exit any autoplay screen that may appear.
4. Open My Computer.
5. Right-click the CD-ROM drive containing the Install Disk and select Open.
6. Click Edit at the top of the window.
7. Click Select All.
8. Click Edit again.
9. Click Copy.
10. Close the window.
11. Right-click the New Folder on your desktop and select Paste. (The game files will now copy.)
12. Once the files from the Install Disk are copied proceed to step 13.
13. Upon completion, remove all disks from any drives.
14. Double-click the Setup folder.
15. Double-click on the Sims3Setup.exe icon, looks like two silver arrows and a half-cirle on a blue background. (The installation should now begin.)

2. If you got Sims 3 CRC Error then there is a 94% chance that your computer has registry problems. To repair Sims 3 CRC error you need to follow the steps below:

1. Download a Perfect Optimizer,install this error repair tool.
2. Click the Repair All Button.It will scan you pc for Free.
3. Then click the Repair All Button again and your done! It is very easy to repair sims 3 crc error.

3. Download EA download manager [EADM], create an account on there, then you get your serial key for the game, type it in EA download manager and it will download the game and install.  A CRC error is the DVD Drive not being able to read the disc properly. It downloads pretty quick. and anyone else who is having this problem this is the way around. All you need to do is have an EA account set up, then there is a tab that says activation, this is where the serial key goes, and its that simple.

4. Run the Windows Defragmenter software on your system. Fragmented hard disk space can cause this error.

CRC errors may also be caused by a hard disk or DVD drive failing or being unable to write consistent data.

If you have run the Defragmenter software and are continuing to experience this error, please contact your system’s manufacturer for further diagnostics.

It appears that in some cases, users that are using the EA download Manager version of The Sims 3 may experience this error if their download is paused. To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

1. Log in to the EADM.
2. Click on the red x in the upper right part of the Sims 3 download to clear the EADM cache.
3. Re-download The Sims 3; do not pause the download.

Also, if you need older patches for the game because the new one you installed [v1.7/2.2] made your game worse which resulted you uninstalling then reinstalling the game. You can download the older patches here separately.

If you want The Sims 3 Patches  you can download them here. I realized that the latest patch for the game is pretty messed up so I went on a search to download them separately. I only did this because people have installed the new patch [v1.7/2.2] and it has gave them nothing but trouble so they decided to uninstall the game and then reinstall but realized in order to not have that patch you would have to find a way to install everyone but that one. Even those patches are a hit and miss but they are better than the latest one.

• Addresses some issues with Speed 2 and 3 moving too slowly. Some machines will have better results when using Speed 2 and 3 now.
• Fix to story progression on/off selection toggle.
• Fix for a possible crash with audio code.

• Addresses some issues with DVD authentication errors and drive compatibility on startup.

• After getting promoted in a job with a night shift the Sim will only receive the day off if their next shift starts within 8 hours.

Player created or controlled households are now “protected” and will no longer be removed through “Story Progression.” Warning: Story Progression will no longer remove previously player controlled Sims. • Switching between multiple saved outfits of the same type no longer has the potential to wipe out saved outfits.

• “Become Enemies with Child” wish no longer appears.
• “Quit Job” wish will now fulfill if Sim gets a new job and is forced to quit the old one.

• Prevented a case where toddlers were allowed to escape a lot and wander freely.
• Fixed a rare case where a toddler’s teddy bear could get permanently stuck in their inventory.
• “Clean High Chair” wish properly fulfills.

• The “Raid Criminals” interaction can now be properly resumed after saving and loading while it is in progress.
• Sims will no longer get a wish to ask their husband to be their boyfriend.
• Fix for a possible crash when disconnecting headphones during gameplay.
• Relationships are properly preserved when merging a newly created household into an existing household.
• “Play with Toy” wish properly fulfills when a child Sim plays with the teddy bear.
• Fixed an error that occurred when deleting an outfit preset that a Sim was wearing.
• Lot pricing was corrected in edit town. The price of trees and bushes is now properly accounted for. Various community lot objects no longer provide negative value to a lot.
• “Woohoo” interaction now counts as a romantic interaction.
• Wish to “See Child Become a Genius” now auto cancels once it is no longer possible to fulfill.
• Sheet music can no longer be chosen from the bookshelf interactions. This prevents a situation in which Sims could no longer learn particular songs.
• Fixes a rare case where a revived ghost could become stuck in the science lab if a household was split.
• “Eat Food at Park” wish now fulfills properly.
• Parents will no longer wish to “See Sim Get Married” for their already married children.
• Kleptomaniac Sims can no longer return items currently being used by other Sims.

Why couldn’t they have came out with this before now? I don’t even know if this update will even fix the error where it deletes my save files and only leave the “BACKUP” files which are unusable. No telling if its the mods I’ve installed or the updates that do more harm than good. I just hope they fix The Sims 3 main game before there be any more occurrences that will result in people not playing the game altogether.
