Like all main stage seasons at The Rep, the emphasis is on challenging productions and a vibrant mix, including elements of great drama, personal stories, comedy, music and a high level of entertainment values.

When it comes to the shows they select, The Rep never takes the easy way out.

Opening the season September 5th will be Neil Simon’s semi-autobiographical play, “Brighton Beach Memoirs.”

A new musical based on the film from 1955 of the same title, “Daddy Long Legs,” will bow October 10.  Starting November 28, the high-powered comedy “The Foreigner” will make its bow at The Rep. A recent dramatic hit from the 2011 season on Broadway, “Good People,” will open January 2nd.

The very popular romance novel by Jane Austen “Sense and Sensibility,” will open February 6th. The season finale will be the classic drama about murder and an attempt to commit the perfect crime for a big payoff, “Double Indemnity.”
