And of course, the car starts rattling every time we give it gas. So we pull over about 50 miles from home. We call Missi’s parents, who get in their cars and start heading out to get us. McDonald’s being the only place with heating and seating nearby, we go in and work on homework. For two and a half hours.

Missi’s family gets there, we switch cars and are headed back on our way, the time now being 5:00; the time we were originally planning on reaching Kirksville. And then we hit more traffic. Not only do we hit traffic, but it hits back. We literally sit in the same place for ten minutes, move for a few, and then sit some more. The 49 miles to Columbia takes us two hours. It is now 7:00, we should have gotten back two hours before, and we still have an hour left before we get back.

The last leg actually went rather well, fortunately. Long story short, for various reasons I have a new found annoyance/hatred for the following: People who go the MIZZOU, cops, Mexicans, Wendy’s, and people in general.

Sorry for the rant, but it pissed me off, and thus I bring it to you.

Now I was a bit confused here. This is not a picture of a 69 yr old Pensioner that was punched several times in the face before being spat at.

Nope, it was a picture of  Steven Johnston, 23, who, as we discover later on -

….swore at grandmother Patricia Robinson when she stumbled after the driver braked suddenly.

As the pair were getting off the bus, Mrs Robinson, 69, confronted the man over his outburst.

He then turned and punched the pensioner several times before spitting in her face and walking away.

Well that makes you, Mr Johnston, in my honest opinion, a lower form of life than the shit I scrape off my fishtank.

In a statement read out in court, Mrs Robinson, from South Tyneside, said: ‘I cannot believe the effect this has had on my life.

‘I am a 69-year-old woman and it was a genuine accident that I made contact with him.

‘I immediately apologised and said ’sorry’, but I still cannot believe or understand his response.

I was horrified, disgusted, frightened and angry. I thought “how dare he speak to anyone like that, never mind a 69-year-old woman”.

‘But he hit me, not only once, but again and again. I was being attacked in broad daylight.

‘Since then I cannot sleep and cannot get it out of my mind. I am still too worried to go out.’

But Hark, Steve Johnson has this to say -

Today, Johnston said the attack, which took place in Hebburn, South Tyneside, was the ‘biggest regret’ of his life, and apologised to his victim.

‘I can’t put into words how sorry I am,’ he said. ‘I’ve never done anything like this before and I feel terrible for what I’ve done, but I can’t take it back now.

‘All I can do is promise I will never do anything like this again. I just lost my temper and I’ve regretted it ever since.

‘After I did it I felt sick, guilty and scared. I really want to apologise to the old lady for all the pain and suffering I’ve caused her. I’m truly sorry.’

Well, Johnston, I am so glad to hear that this is the first time you ever punched an OAP in the face. My soul is salved to hear that you promise to never again spit at, or punch an OAP. As for the rest of your defence, my heart bleeds when I hear how you felt sick, guilty and scared after you punched a 69 yr old female in the face*.
