He further continued very wickedly that we don’t want to know how fuzzy, cute your kitten or dog is, or how your kid is growing up. So please don’t send us those stories or poems!

Residents of picturesque mangrove island Vanxim of Goa are in a genuine dilemma.

A church and chapel built hundreds of years ago, a number of water bodies, a sea of mangroves, old Goan houses surrounded by garden… that’s what Vanxim is. But there are no medical facilities, no schools, not even shops for every petty need they have to ferry across to Divar Island.

Indian society needs to educate its masses against the monstrous exploitations they face. I really don’t think they can count on Governments or police to protect them. Before encountering one in 2000 I never knew how powerful they are and how tightly knit their network is all over the country.

Every year one racket is busted, at least one with nation-wide network, So massive is their network that if and when their victims escape they start harassing that person right in her home, along with her family members, forcing her to return from where she escaped.

Somesh was asking me to write something about “Reality shows” a few days back. When I first watched “Truman Story” I utterly loathed the people who watched it and were running the show- still do and always will.

Where are those days when people thought that a person’s private life is his own business, none had the right to peek into it?
