I love hiking. This was one of the reasons why I travelled to France and walked the “The Way of St.

I love hiking. This was one of the reasons why I travelled to France and walked the “The Way of St. James”. Friends have told me about how hard this will be – especially the first few days. They told me to learn Spanish because I will need it.

I said: Sounds cool. A hard trip – I do not speak Spanish – This is a great challenge. After I read the book “Screw it, let’s do it!” by Richard Branson, I was looking for new challenges.

Well ok – The first days were tough. But I’ve made it hard for me. 27Km on the first day – crossing the Pyrenees. Started at 200m height above sea level, up to 1,450m and then back down to 950m. On my back the 14Kg heavy backpack. On the 2nd day I walked 40km. Yeah – That was tough. But it was fun.

Do you know what it feels like when a tough challenge begins to make fun? It’s great!

So, I don’t found the challenge I’ve been looking for. The physical strain was not that much as I expected and even the Spanish people speaks English…

But I found something else: A lot of new ideas, inspiration, a lot of friends and bold for other projects.

That’s the reason why I want to go this way now – again in search for a new challenge. This time slightly more than 10,000 km. From Munich in Germany to Lhasa, capital city of Tibet. I will need approx. 2 years.

Is my task daunting? Hell, yes. Am I afraid? At times. But I don’t allow fear to stop me. Are there people who say I’m crazy? Certainly! So what!

It’s time to gamble and take chances!

What if I go – What if I succeed? - What if it was a great adventure? Sure it will be risky – But I will have a lot of fun too…

And that’s the story I wanna tell you…

With this project I want to reach as many people as possible and show them what’s possible when you see problems as challenges, arises from them, while still having fun.

I want to show people how beautiful this world is. And I want to make the world even a little better…

This blog will keep you up to date of my project. If you want to help and support me, I am very pleased.

You also will find many motivating and inspiring stuff that help me looking for challenges and find the courage to face them.

The arrangements for the trip have already begun…

Follow me… The journey starts soon…

PS: Can you imagine that’s a huge challenge for me to write this Blog? I am really no friend of big words…But I’m going to love it – it’s fun …

University of California juga menerbitkan tulisan Goldstein pada tahun 1997 berjudul “The Snow Lion and the Dragon: China, Tibet, and Dalai Lama”.

Seperti yang diungkapkan oleh Huntington: “Ideology is out now. It is not important. But culture is, and civilizations are the broadest cultural entities in the world, and we have maybe eight or so major civilizations, and that international politics now is being shaped by the interactions among these civilizations, and cultural factors are playing a role in shaping the patterns of alliances and antagonisms among states, much as ideology did in the 20th century”.

In Western cultures, the last frontier of our material conquest is the universe of outer space. Our astronauts, are our ultimate heroes and heroines. Tibetans, however, are more concerned about the spiritual conquest of the inner universe…, So the Tibetan lamas… (who are spiritually adept) “Psychonauts” are the Tibetans’ ultimate heroes and heroines”.

Today, I came across Grant Lawrence’s blog and discovered that he has been occasionally writing about the Dalai Lama’s hypocrisy for several years. Grant Lawrence works as a school counselor and mental health counselor in Gallup New Mexico. I’ve posted a couple excerpts from his articles below.

The Dalai Lama: A good showman but an empty robe

Audience member: “Can you give us an example of a leader we should look up to as a positive influence?”

Dalai Lama (after thinking for a few seconds): “President Bush. I met him personally and liked him very much. He was honest and straightforward, and that is very important. I may not have agreed with all his policies, but I thought he was very honest and a very good leader.”

The Dalai Lama has been shown to be something of a showman and a likely CIA stooge. He has previously gone on record supporting “just” wars like the one in Iraq and the War on Terror.

Unfortunately the Dalai Lama has put his own cause above the cause of humanity. The Dalai gets a great deal of US support (likely financial) for his continued discrediting of the Chinese government on the issues of Tibet. In 2007, Bush presented the Dalai Lama with the Congressional Medal of Freedom for his support of US policies around the world.

The people of Tibet and their treatment are an important issue. However, the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, and all of those countries suffering under the policies of Global Empire (globalisation) are no less important. …

The Dalai Lama Hype: Why?

The Dalai professes compassion and care for all beings but doesn’t care for the people of Iraq and Afghanistan. He promotes the idea of just wars and that the US occupations of those countries are good and decent. He also has a special fondness for the war criminal Bush.

The Dalai Lama’s connections to the CIA should be known. He was saved and paid by the CIA after leaving Tibet.

The Dalai Lama has morphed into a type of New Age Televangelist for American Empire.

He’s all show. But when it comes to delivering the goods of real compassion and moral courage he’s too busy putting on that show. I believe it is no accident that the Dalai finds such adulation here in the West and he has a history of support from the CIA. …

trying to sit and write down my feelings … had this missing.. feeling from my Yahoo 360 days. Was looking at my earlier posts from 2005, an amazing feeling mixed with sorrow and happiness mixed has encircled me. It kinda has taken over me.

Then sweety swetha little sister called me up, the second best thing to have happened in months. And know what she says she has been to Bylakuppe and I am again dragged into the sweet feeling of my Journalism days 2004-05 in Bangalore when I actually started to travel; and learn of the true india. Which untiul then wasnt love but infatuations towards travelling and photography. The cauvery and the folklore in the area amazes me.

The Tibetan settlements and the amazing stories of Tibetan refugees in India sad but interesting.

Swetha says she loved the place, and amazingly she is travelling alone nowadays which is the best thing to happen to a youngster.

Below are some excerpts from an article published by Salon Newsreal in 1998. These excerpts have been included in the book A Great Deception by the Western Shugden Society.

The Dalai Lama has come out in support of the thermonuclear tests recently conducted by the Indian state, and has done so in the very language of the chauvinist parties who now control that state’s affairs. The “developed” countries, he says, must realize that India is a major contender and should not concern themselves with its internal affairs. This is a perfectly realpolitik statement, so crass and banal and opportunist that it would not deserve any comment if it came from another source. …

The greatest triumph that modern PR can offer is the transcendent success of having your words and actions judged by your reputation, rather than the other way about. The “spiritual leader” of Tibet has enjoyed this unassailable status for some time now, becoming a byword and synonym for saintly and ethereal values. Why this doesn’t put people on their guard I’ll never know.
