S5/E953

Ene asks if Chuks is not going to work? He is not going. She tries to convince him and he says he is on afternoon shift. She tells him there is no shame in working and to see it as a temporary job. He asks her to promise that she will not leave him for the guy in a lizard costume! He asks if she is not going for youth service? He dreamed and saw her in a NYSC outfit and he was wearing his chicken uniform. She decided against that due to the things happening to them.
Amaka visits Fred and asks if he is not watching? He did not know it is showing. She sent him a text advising the times for the show. They settle down to watch and Amaka comments on Freddie’s part and asks what he was doing? Fred does not know and as Amaka suggests they make him the face of Reel, Sheila comes out and says that will be a good idea. Amaka invites her to watch with them but she has her own business to run.
Bimpe visits Chuks to complain about the NEPA bill. She sees his chicken uniform and asks what it is? He tries to cover up by saying he will take care of the bill. She asks what the tolotolo outfit is for? He rushes her off the room and looks distressed.
Kwame visits Brenda who wonders what the visit is for? He asks if he is no longer allowed to visit his only sister? She does not believe him and after a while he asks how she is doing with her sobriety? She asks why that is up for discussion? He says their cousing Ivy asked and he got a call from John this money about his finding brandy in a glass. Brenda looks like she could kill John!
Joan visits Sheila at work. She came to settle the bill from yesterday. She accuses Sheila of running away so fast she thought they had offended her. She also saw the television interview and Sheila’s body language said a lot. She hoped Sheila had fun. Sheila says she did but is more comfortable around friends. Joan wonders if they are not friends yet? Sheila likes fun but not with male strippers. Joan is sure Sheila enjoys some R&R sometimes and asks Sheila to call her when she is ready.
Chuks enters Ziggy’s and meets Soji and the waiters discussing football. They hail him and Soji asks about his job hunting. He has a job now and he is a brand ambassador for a restaurant. They hail him again and insist he washes the new job. He asks them to serve Soji, who is not working, his favourite poison. Just then, Bimpe enters and Chuks’s mood changes. She asks if he has fixed the NEPA bill? He says not yet. Frank tells her that Chuks is now a brand ambassador. Bimpe asks if that is what they call it now?
Kwame grills Brenda on the drink found in her house. She will have a strong word with John for discussing her personal issues with everyone. He reminds her that he is not everyone and asks her what happened? She tells him that a glass of brandy lying around her house is not enough to make him assume that she derailed. He asks her if she did? She says no. She had a rough day, enough to tempt her, but she got over it. He asks for the details but she tells him that she had discussed it with her sponsor and she is okay. He reminds her that she can always call on him for help.
Bimpe asks what the uniform he found in Chuks’s house is for? She recalls that the uniform looks like that worn by the boys handing out fliers in Roast Okuko! Chuks claims that the uniform is for his friend, and he works in an upscale restaurant. She asks for the name of the restaurant he works? Soji asks Chuks to tell her the name of the place so that she leaves him alone. She tells him to mind his business and turns to Chuks. Chuks says that he works in Roasto Kukon, a French restaurant. That got everyone in the bar laughing. Bimpe says she has eaten at Roasted Okuko and the chicken there is very hard, like native chickens that run around. She asks if Chuks’s job is catching those chickens? That got everyone including Soji laughing again.
Freddie comes home looking dejected. Fred asks what is wrong but he goes upstairs. Fred asks the driver and he says all is well but some boys were chasing Freddie and he escaped them by jumping into the car and asking him to drive off.
TTK asks Dan to stop reading those magazines. He reminds her that she brought them. They are all writing about a convicted murderer coming back to the bar. TTK thinks it is free publicity. Dan picks through the story including the man who owns a property on the street that is worried about the value of his property. TTK asks why he did not think of that before he came back. He tells her that he does not want them to welcome him but to leave him alone.
Fred calls Freddie’s school to complain about their not protecting him from bullies. As he was talking, Freddie comes into the kitchen and asks who he is talking to. Fred gets off the phone and tells Freddie that he should not be afraid of bullies. Freddie tells him that they were not bullies and now that he has called, they will have more reasons to laugh at him.. They were just laughing at him for the TV interview. Some people recorded it and have been passing it around. Fred tells him that he is famous now. Freddie says they think he does not know what he was doing.
Soji gets home with Chuks and Chuks accuses him of joining others in laughing at him. Soji says he could not help it and accuses Chuks of not warning him before hand. They settle in and he asks Chuks to show him the costume and promises not to laugh at him. Chuks reluctantly fishes out the costume from where he hid it. Soji bursts out laughing again. Chuks tells him to let himself out when he is through with making fun of him. Soji tells him to confess if he will not be rolling on the floor if it was him that was wearing it? Chuks says that if Soji is the one wearing the costume, he will not need to wear the head. His hair already looks like the cock’s comb! Soji sobers and tells him that he should look on the bright side. A job with a costume is better than no job at all. He encourages Chuks to always chant ‘dignity in labour’ whenever it gets to him. Chuks agrees to the chant and says he will do that even when he is wearing the uniform from home to work. Soji is alarmed and asks why he should wear the costume from home? Chuks says it is company policy. Soji tells him that people will line up on the street laughing at him. Chuks chants dignity in labour.
Frank asks Afi for the time? She tells him it is 4pm. Frank worries that only one customer, Soji and Chuks came to the bar. Afi reminds him that the previous night was also dry. They discuss the cause and Afi thinks it is the journalists but Frank disagrees. As they were discussing, Obiora comes in to tell them that he just saw one of their regulars outside. They will not be coming to the bar again. As they were discussing their fate, TTK comes out from the office and asks why they are idling away? They tell her that there is nothing to do. She tells them that Mr. Dan will be around for a few days before he leaves… Dan asks who says he is leaving?
Fred tells Brenda that he asked her over to ask that she keep an eye on Dan. She asks why she should baby-sit an old man? He says it is because she has had a similar experience. She does not like it but agrees on condition that he sees it as a favour. Amaka comes in and asks what is wrong with Freddie as her message says? Fred tells her about his depression over the TV interview. Brenda picks the Tinseltown magazine Amaka dropped and mutters catching Fred’s attention. Amaka tries to stop her but she asks if Amaka thinks she can keep it away from Fred? Fred asks what is going on? Brenda reads out a celebrity sighting where Sheila was sighted with some wild celebrity women. The writer wonders what shenanigans went on behind closed doors in the a-list nightclub they went to!

The journalists stick microphones in Dan’s face and they all hurl questions at him. TTK shoos them all off and says that Dan will speak with them when he is ready.
Fred offers Peju and her team another drink. He apologizes that Sheila must have been held up. Peju suggests that Fred give her a tour of the house while they wait. Freddie comes in and says he will do his performance act instead. Fred asks what it is about? Freddie asks them to start recording. He tries to dance and spills cards all over the place. Amaka comes in and asks what he is doing on the floor? He runs upstairs. Fred says he may be going upstairs to perfect his magic skills.
Chuks gets a call from an employer. They are impressed with his performance. He has the job. Ene comes in just then and he spins her around in a dance. He now has a job!
Sheila breezes into Sankey’s office. Sankey is not expecting her. She came in from a party down the street. She laments the loss of Angela and how Masters has always beaten them. He killed Sankey’s husband, Dan, everyone. Sankey tells her that Angela knew what she was going into. She remembers Angela for her fierceness and will be going to Ziggy’s to raise a glass to her spirit.
TTK complains that he journalists have no respect. Dan says it was bound to happen and he should have been prepared. He tells TTk that the way she handled them, she could have a future in artist management. Just then, Harriet walks in and TtK asks what she is doing there! She wants to interview Dan alone. TTK is not going anywhere. Whatever she has to say will be said before them all. Harriet asks whether Dan will like to be on television.
Fred complains that he has called the spa a number of times and the girls say Sheila left a while ago. Amaka wonders if she is okay? She suggests calling the police. Just then, Sheila enters and shouts, honey, I am home.
Chuks asks Ene if he should wear the jacket or not? He is decked out in a blue shirt and white tie. She tells him to hold the jacket as he will be taking Okada and wear it just before he enters the office. She also packed him lunch. He reminds her that he is starting work as the manager of a fast food joint. They will have food for him. He gloats that he wishes TtK will see him now after kicking him out of the bar.
Harriet pitches her show to Dan. She wants to have a five minute piece on his prison diaries. He is not interested. TTK tells her to continue. She wants to give him a platform to tell his story. TTK did not know she had such altruistic tendency. Dan is not interested.
Fred and Sheila face Peju. she gaily answers all questions while Fred is slightly cagey. He suggests they take a break but Sheila is not up to it. How was their first meeting? Love at first sight? Yes, for her, no for Fred. When they got to challenges in their marriage and Laide, she asks Fred to go ahead and tell Peju how they coped. Fred breaks down in tears.
Chuks meets the restaurant owner. The man reminds him about their rules but Chuks had googled them. He answers all the questions right. He is to resume immediately. When he asks for his office, the man’s face changes.
Amaka accosts Peju. She wants them to edit out some parts of the recording. She will see what she can do. Fred comes down and Amaka complains about Sheila’s bad behaviour. Fred asks after her? She went out immediately after he went upstairs. Fred says he will give her a piece of his mind.
Sheila calls Brenda to invite her to Ziggy’s to share a drink in memory of Angela as suggested by Sankey. Brenda who thought she was being invited to Sheila’s anniversary soiree says she is not Angela’s friend and it will do her memory no good. Sheila is surpassed that she cannot even shelve their differences for once. Fred walks into the study and she tells Brenda she has to go.
Chuks comes home dressed in a chicken outfit! Ene wonders what is going on? He is wearing his office uniform. But he is the office manager? She asks. He is not the manager of the restaurant. He is the mascot!
Fred asks Sheila where she has been? He called the spa and they say she was not there. She tells him that he is getting into the habit of calling her a liar. He wonders why she is angry and she tells him that it is time they stop pretending that all is well with them and face reality. He tells her that they talked about this and she even told him to go ahead and do what he needs to do. She agrees and comes across the table and sticking her face in his, tells him to go ahead and do it Nd watch her do her’s! He asks her what that means & whether she has been drinking but she had walked out on him!
Ene asks Chuks where he got the idea that he is going to be the manager? He says that is the post he applied for. However, the company has a policy that all their managers will manage their public view; mascot. Ene asks why he did not remove the outfit in the office? He tells her that their policy is that all the managers must be in character toll they get home. He will also have to work on their street. Ene is alarmed. Their neighbours will see him! He blames Erastus for duping him. That is what has landed him in this mess. She however sees the bright side; his face will be covered.
Sheila meets Sankey in the bar. Amaka is not there yet and she calls. Amaka got the text as she was getting home. She asks if Sheila should be drinking? Sheila hangs up on her and orders for two shots of whisky. Sankey says hat means Brenda may not also be joining them and orders the same and they recount their first meeting with Angela. Sankey met her first during the investigation of Reginald’s murder when she was cleaning off evidence of her presence! Sheila remembers the day she came to the spa to look for her. They both agree that Angela lived an interesting life and toast to her memory.
Brenda gets home and asks John for an empty glass. He asks if she wants water in the glass? She says no. The glass will do. She fidgets as she waits for the glass and wishes him good night when he hands her the glass. She pours a drink from her flask and toasts to Angela, crazy woman that she was and leaves the glass on the table and goes in without taking a sip!

Sheila asks Fred if that is some kind of joke? He tells her that she cannot claim that she has not held information on Laide from him? She asks if that is all that he can come up with? Accuse her of knowing about Laide after hiring a private investigator? He asks if Majek to her of the investigation? No, she put two and two together. She asks what he wants to do with finding her? If she has not contacted him all these while, it means one thing, she does not want anything to do with him. If he finds her, what will he do? Fight for custody or kidnap the baby? Decisions, decisions, decisions.
TTK tells Dan that it is not good for him to get back to the bar. He is supposed to be resting. He tells her that he did nothing other than rest in prison. He is now ready to re-start his life. She is bothered about him and all the alcohol and his addiction. He has never had a problem with alcohol he reminds her. She reminds him of what the counsellor says about addiction. He tells her that chocolate is addictive and asks if he should stop her from going near chocolate? Whatever she says, he is ready to go back to work.
Kwame speaks to Dannie. He misses her and is staying away from trouble. He drops and calls Bimpe to tell her that he is ready to join the show. Bimpe picks the call and answers heartbreak hotel, Bimpe speaking. He tells her that she does not need to remind him of the of her hits. He is okay with things so long as he is Soji’s boss. He tells her that if he is going to come on as executive producer, things will be done his way. A reluctant Bimpe asks when she can tell Harriet to call him. They must have lots to discuss. He calls Harriet that old hag and asks Bimpe to tell her to call him.
Sheila comes downstairs and meets Cosmo letting a TV creman into the house. She hopes they are not starting shooting. He came for a tour of the house preparatory to the shooting. Amaka calls and Sheila complains that she has a film crew in her house. Amaka knows nothing about that. She is calling to tell Sheila that the event planner is on her way. Just then, the planner walks in and greets Sheila gaily. Sheila apologizes for forgetting that they are meeting early but the lady has already chosen a theme. Shila abandons them all and instructs Cosmo to ensure that the cameraman is not left alone. She leaves and if they have any questions, they should direct it to Fred as she leaves.
TTK and Dan walk into the bar and he complains about the bar table. Obiora and Afi come in and gladly welcome him. They have missed him. TTK tells them to get on with the work. They have enhanced the menu, etc to attract a classier set of clients. Dan tells them to get on with it while he watches them. Obiora and Afi says they should have made a banner if they knew he was coming. TTK tells them to get on with it as she takes Dan to the office.
Harriet tells Soji that she has exciting news. Their money woes are over. They have an executive producer. Soji is not excited and says so? Did she get Reel Studios or Odyssey. Harriet tells her they have got Kwame. Soji says no way. He will not do any dumb romance while Kwame watches over them. Soji orders her to leave. She tells him that it is Bimpe that arranged the deal so he has to tell her that himself. Soji looks murderous.
Sheila comes in and meets the receptionists at the spa excited. She asks them what is going on? They are excited that Sheila and Fred are going to be on The Juice with Peju. She asks how they knew? They excitedly tell her that the camera crew were in the spa getting ready and also promised that they will interview the staff on air. Sheila tries to make a call but Brenda walks out of the spa. She asks what is going on and Sheila tells her about the show. Sheila thinks it is too lavish but Brenda calls it downright frivolous. She asks what Sheila expects and how she has been coping with her sixth or eighth husband.
Harriet calls Bimpe to warn her that Soji is on his way to see her. She hopes that Bimpe is presentatble. Bimpe, who is eating meat pie, curled up on her sofa nearly chokes on her meat pie and tells Harriet so. Harriet complains that she is giving out too much information but tells her that she is only warning her to prepare her to meet Soji. Bimpe asks her to call him off but she reminds her that he is not her puppet. She tells Bimpe that Soji is pulling out of the show and warns her to get ready to deal with him when he gets there.
Dan comes into the bar and Ohakannu hails him as an honorary general of Telema Soldiers. They shake hands and Dan joins him for a drink. He asks Dan to describe in details the killing of Varere. He has been meaning to ask that question. Dan gets up and leaves the table. He is no longer thirsty.
Soji visits Bimpe. He is hurt that she discussed all these with Kwame without referring to him. Bimpe tells him that she only discussed and it is not like anything has been signed. He is still not happy. She accuses him of not wanting to do the show in the first place. He asks why she wants them to pretend that they are still together when they are not? She tells him to get off his high horse. The show is now to pay the bills and not about them. He says well, she can do without him then and walks out.
Joan comes in to visit with Sheila. She thanks Sheila for a nice time for the girls. They are about to go to the club for a drink and invites Sheila to join them. Sheila tells her that she is not interested as she is not even their friend. Joan tells her that she knows her type. They are stuck in convention in their marriage but once in a while, they need to let their wild sides out. Sheila demurs. However, as Joan leaves, she asks where the party is?
Dan is pacing in the office when TTK enters. He thinks that she is right. He should not have come back. He complains about his reputation affecting the bar, etc. She tells him she warned him but tells him to hold his head high and go out there and own the bar. He smiles.
Bimpe visits Kwame and he tells her that she has to finish her drink this time around. He asks her if it is true that Soji has pulled out? She confirms same and says that he never really wanted to do the show from the beginning. Kwame asks after their love and Bimpe confesses that they have broken up. Kwame asks if Soji agreed to the charade in spite of his pretence to do the right thing? He says that is why Soji takes good pictures but cannot make masterpieces. Bimpe warns him to watch his tongue. Soji at least has talent, which she cannot say much for him. He wonders what he said wrong? After all, they are no longer dating.
Dan walks into the bar and meets a commotion. He asks what is going on and it turns out to be Harriet and her crew, who turn around and point a camera in his face asking him to tell them what it is like to be back in circulation!
Peju and crew get ready for the show. Fred, looking quite dapper in suit and bow tie come downstairs to meet them. Peju compliments his good looks and he tells her that he is not too old to appreciate her compliment. She wants to know whether Sheila is joining them? He says that Sheila went to work but should be back soon. Peju is happy as that gives them time to prep for the show. He excuses himself to call Sheila to find out when she can join them. As he goes to make the call, Freddy comes downstairs with his trademark hat. Peju approaches him and he asks in his new-found deep voice if he is going to be interviewed? Peju says it is not in the plan but agrees to talk to him about school etc. He says he will perform instead. Peju is happy and asks if he plays the harmonica like D’Banj? Freddy says he does not play like D’Banj. Fred calls and leaves a message for Sheila. This is the second message he is leaving for her and asks her to let him know when he is joining them for the show.

Fred does not like what Majek is suggesting. Majek apologizes. Fred wonders if he is suggesting that Sheila is keeping information about Laide from him? Majek says it is possible and likely. Fred says their marriage is now an open book. Majek reminds him that he is looking for Laide behind Sheila’s back. Fredsays thatSheila will never do something like that. Onto the hunt then, Majek says. He is only trying to cover all the bases.
TTK is furious that Dan is accusing her of scheming to take over the bar. He tells her that they all know her and asks her to deny that she has ever wanted to take over the bar. She throws a brochure at him and tells him to pull himself back from the brink. As she leaves, he looks at the brochure. Sky-diving!
Harriet shows Soji some tweet that calks him a liar and a cheat. So? He asks. She tells hi. That such negative publicity will pull him down. He reminds her that she has such a reputation too. She insists that she knows how to run the press unlike him. When he is nit budging, she tells him to think of Bimpe who has nothing else. He says that this time, they will agree to some ground rules; no hidden cameras in his flat. An elated Harriet runs off after reminding him of the outstanding debt which he tells her to fix.
Fred tells Dan that he saw TTK running off and asks whether they had a disagreement? Dan tells her that he could a least discuss things with Sheila. With TTK, it is always about her. She could always turn every man’s issue not her show. Hat is why he banned her from visiting him prison. fred tells him that he may not be TtK’s biggest fan but he cannot fault her passion for getting him off the hang man’s noose. Dan wonders what her motivation was? Fed tells him that she simply wanted her daughter’s father back.
Fred meets Sheila in the kitchen and says he has been looking for her. She hopes he had not hired a private investigator to find her! He tells her that her sense of humor is one of the things he likes about her. He asks that they fill in the questionnaire together. She has filled in her own. He asks to see her’s and she passes it on. She tells a call and tells the caller that Fred will be there for the meeting. He asks what the call was for and she tells him that there is a PTA meeting in Freddy’s school. He asks that they go together but she insists that she has work to do and she knows that he will do well alone.
Harriet tells Bimpe the good news that Soji has agreed to come back to the show. An alarmed Bimpe asks her how it happened? Did she bribe Soji or threaten him? She agrees that there was some arm twisting. Bimpe says she cannot go through with it. Harriet slaps her awake and tells her that she had better wake up. After all the work she has put into the show, she is not ready to let a Bimpe be the problem now.
A happy Fred comes home with Freddy who is wearing a hat on his school uniform. As Freddy makes to go upstairs, Fred tells him to come sit with him. They need to talk of the newFreddy he has become. Who is he today? Freddy Mercury or Freddy Kruger? Freddy is surprised that Fred knows who Fred Kruger is. Fred tells him that he is in the movie industry and has to keep up with the trends. He asks if Freddy is missing Dannie? A little, says Freddie. Fred tells him that he had a chat with his teacher who says that Freddie has not been associating with the other kids. Freddie says that it is because they sound dumb! Fred suggests that he takes up something else to distract him, maybe a pet, every kid loves one or a competitive sport!
Harriet is happy that Bimpe is back with her on the show. Bimpe is however nit happy to work with a guy that broke her heart. Harriet tells Bimpe that they still have money problems. Bimpe asks what she means? What of the sponsors she has been talking about? She responds that no one is willing to put money on a fledgling producer like her. They will need to find someone else, an established producer to back the movie. She suggests they bring Kwame Mensah not the project to attract sponsors.
Joan meets Sheila at the spa she is finalizing plans for a hen night she is planning with her friends. They are all married women but understand how to marry one and keep another. She invites Sheila to join them for the hen night. Sheila is not interested.
Salewa meets TTK lying on the sofa with two cuts of cucumber on her eyes. She asks what TtK is doing? She says she is meditating. Salewa wonders what it is used for? She explains that it is for visualizing and de-stressing. She uses it to prep for movie roles. Salewa tries it but does not feel relaxed. TTK says it is because she will not stop talking. Salewa asks for the cause of her stress? TTK tells her that it is who, not what. Someone who does not appreciate all that she has done for him. Salewa asks if she is talking about her father? TTK says she has had enough of it from him! Just then, someone knocks on the door and Salewa opens the door to admit Dan! TTK looks away.
Dan tells TTK that he came to talk. She tells him that she has nothing to say to him. She tells Salewa to tell this man that his presence gives her headache & places the cucumber on her eyes. Salewa tells them that she is going for a walk and leaves them. Dan tells TTK to remove the cucumbers from her eyes and stop being ridiculous. She tells him that he is the one being ridiculous. He sits down beside her on the sofa and tells her that he came to apologize to her. He is not used to being fussed over. She tells him that she took over the running of the bar to preserve Salewa’s inheritance. She knows that he likes the bar so much.
Bimpe breezes into Kwame’s apartment and pours herself a drink! Kwame wonders what is going on? She tells him that she came to make him an offer he cannot refuse. She wants them to bring back the old gang. He asks if the old gang includes her? She tells him that this may be his opportunity to become a producer again and his opportunity to get over his last attempt to break into Nollywood. He wonders what she is talking about and she sips from her glass of drink, squeezes her face, and put the glass in his hand and runs from the room.
Dan apologizes for his outburst again and TTK says she understands and is ready to support him to get to the next level of his recovery. Dan tells her that he is ready to take the next step. He is now ready to take over the running of the bar!
Fred meets Sheila and talks to her about the PTA meeting which went well. He tells her about his talk with Freddie’s teacher. She cuts in and asks him if he is looking for Laide? He stops for a while but answers and tells her yes. He asks her if she knows where Laide is?

Amaka tells Sheila not to jump to conclusion that Fred is looking fir Laide. She reminds her of the family meeting where Fred chose her over Laide. Sheila reminds her that Fred did not reject the child. She blames herself for asking Fred to deal with whatever is bothering him. Amaka tells her that Fred could be hiring the private investigator for a lot of reasons some of which could be associated with Dan. Sheila says Fred is looking to bring Laide’s child not their home. Amaka asks her what she plans to do?
Jean-Baptiste tells Soji that he must think that she is a nincompoop. Se has watched the clips of the promotional videos for the show and there is no mention of her or her brand. Soji says it is not her call. It is Bimpe’s and Harriet’s. She demands payment from Soji for her investment in Bimji. Soji wonders what she is talking about? He tries to explain that Bimpe and Harriet are the ones running the show now. Jean-Baptiste insists that he refunds her investment in the show. He asks her where she expects him to get all that money from? She does not know and does not care. She will however not leave till she collects her money.
Peju calls Sheila. Se is elated to be working wit them on the anniversary show. Sheila is not as enthusiastic as Peju is. She will like to come to the house to discuss the show and the interview. Sheila is not down with that. She wants only a call but Peju insists on a visit. They need to prep some shots and see the location. Peju tells her that she also has a quiz for her and Fred and asks if he will be around? As she drops the phone, Freddy breezes into the kitchen wearing his latest snazzy outfit – with a hat! Sheila asks what is happening? He is trying to express himself, he says in a deep voice and plays his harmonica. Sheila asks if he could play that? He asks her, in his normal voice, if he can have some Ovaltine!
Segun meets Sankey in her office. She informs him that she just got off the phone with Kaneng. Dan has been released from rehab. She wants him to testify at Masters’s trial. Segun wonders if Dan is ready and capable of testifying? She will still use him and calls to invite him to the station to discuss Masters and the case.
Soji writes Jean-Baptiste a cheque while she stands over him and dictates her name to him. She hopes he signs the cheque right as she does not want any issues. He gives her the cheque and she hopes that the bank exists. He asks why she invested n him if she thought so little of him? She says she has been asking herself the same question. He will hear from her when the cheque clears and if it does not, he will hear from her lawyer.
Dan meets Sankey and Kaneng. They are getting ready to take Masters to court and he asks if he is the star witness? Sankey knows people with his disease and it does not heal so fast. He agrees that he is not healed. He still goes to rehab. Kaneng wonders whether Dan is fit enough to stand? Dan says he is okay. What does he need to do next? Sankey tells him that the prosecutor will prep him to ensure that there are no holes in his testimony. Dan thought the case is oon and shut? Sankey tells him that Masters says he was standing by while Dan tried to commit suicide. Kaneng is mad at that. Sankey tells them that Masters is out to discredit anyone associated with the case. She also suggests that Dan take some extra precautions with security!
Peju meets with Fred and Sheila to discuss the show. She ells them about the preparations and asks after Dan but Heila tells her to stick to the plot. She asks after the quiz and Peju hands it out to them. Just then, Majek calls Fred. He excuses himself to take the call and Sheila’s attention turns to him and the call!
Soji and Chuks meet at the bar. Soji could not believe that Jean-Baptiste made him pay her all that money. She wiped him out. Chuks asks where he got the mone from? He says it came from his savings and he money he made from Kenya. Chuks is surprised that he broke into his savings. Soji reminds him that he was going to use it for his cross-country trip. He still needs to raise funds for the trip as he has promised the community to bring their plight to light.
Salewa meets Dan in the study. She came with snake and ladders and they play a game after he confirms that he still remembers the rules.
Harriet visits Sji who tells her that he cannot deal with her today. She comes in anyway. She came to check if he has changed his mind after thinking of it all night. He is not going to do the show. Harriet tells him that they have some outstanding payments to themselves and the editor. Soji asks her what happened to all the money he raised?
Dan and Salewa continue their game as TTk enters. Dan tells Alewa that TTK knows the game too well. She asks Salewa to run along as she has some discussions with Dan. Dan complains of the schedule again. He was humiliated at he spa yesterday. TTK says that is why she came with DVDs. He hopes it is comedy. She tells him it is DVDs of former addicts who became motivational speakers. She wants them to watch them together.
Harriet is furious that Soji is suggesting she pilfered money from the show. He asks where the money is? She used it to hire equipment and pay the cameraman for Kenya. He asks what she brought to the table? She is the one that lined up sponsors but they will not sign on till they are sure of a full season. Soji is not ready to do a full show. Harriet threatens that he finds the money or be ready for trouble.
The event planner meets Sheila and introduces a lot of exotic themes: masked ball, Bond-themed, etc. Sheila is not interested and after a while abandoned the poor planner.
Dan complains of the DVDs. TTK tells him that she cannot sense any enthusiasm in him. She brought the DVDs to show him that he can become something else with his life. Dan suddenly recognizes one of the actors and asks if that is not one of the actors that starred alongside her n her last production? She agrees that the DVDs was made by actors not real addicts. She says she is trying to help him break back into society. He tells her hat what he needs is freedom and she should not bother about her grand scheme: stealing his bar!
Majek tells Fred that the trip to Lokoja was a dead end. Nobody has seen Laide. He is going to check the medical records. Fred hopes here is no illegal activity. Make was going to respond when Sheila enters. She thinks they have been spending so much time together and informs Fd that the party planner for the party he wanted is downstairs and he should come and hear what she has to say. As she leaves, Fred says he regrets keeping this from his wife. Majek suggests he comes clean. He cannot do that as Sheila had suffered a great deal in the past. Make says there is something he has been meaning to say. Since Fred says that Sheila kept information about Laide from him in the past, how is he sure that Sheila is not doing the same thing again?

Sheila attacks Fred and says it is a very insensitive thing of him to say of Angela. He says he is sorry. She tells him that Angela never wanted to get involved with Masters but did it to put him away. Fred apologizes and says he is sorry and is not one to speak ill of the dead. She reminds him that she might be dead, not dead. He tells her not to attack him as Angela had made a number of wrong decisions in her life. She asks him who has not? Dan? Amaka? Phillip? Brenda? She stalks out on him.
Bimpe asks Harriet if she is on drugs to suggest that she works on a full season of Bimji with Soji when they cannot even stand each other now. She reminds Bimpe of the endorsements and says that movie deals should soon start rolling in. Bimpe is ready to roll if Harriet can find her a hunk without hair.
Majek (Segun Arinze) visits the Ade-Williams. Cosmo lets him in and asks if Fred is expecting him? Majek says yes. He knows Cosmo and when Cosmo wonders how he knew, he says Fred mentioned him a number of times in their previous dealings. Sheila comes out to meet him and he greets her as Mrs. Ade-Williams. She asks who he is and how he knew who she is & he introduces himself. He has dealt with Fred in the past and when Sheila asks what type of dealing they had, Majek says it was investigative. Fred comes down and tells her that Majek is a private investigator as he ushers Majek into his study.
TTK comes in and gaily greets Dan but he tells her that he will like to stay alone for now. TTK tells him that is the last thing he needs now. She tells him that she has a number of fun things planned: a day at the spa, a fitting at a gentleman’s clothes store. He makes denigrating remarks about the whole thing. She says they will find time for lunch and end the day with a night of interesting music. He gets up and says he is going back to prison. TTK tells him to stop casting himself as a man made for prison. He needs someone to take care of him and everyone in the house seems to have their own problems, so all he has now is her!
Harriet calls Bimpe to tell her that it is obvious that she still has feelings for Soji and tells her that working together with Soji will bring them back together. Bimpe asks what she means? Harriet tells her of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Bimpe says that Soji will not agree to it and agrees to do it if Harriet can convince Soji to go along with it.
Fred and Majek catch up on old times. He has been setting up his own security firm and has been travelling a lot. He asks why Fred is looking for him? Fred tells him that he is looking for a lady. Her name is Laide and it is possible she is with a baby. Majek snickers and Fred tells him that it is not like it seems. He tells Fred that it is not in his position to judge and asks how much Sheila knows or is he supposed to exercise discretion? Fred tells him that Fred knows about Laide and the baby.
The spa lady attending to Dan is running all over the place confused. Dan wonders what is wrong with her? She says she is looking for oil. Dan asks what those containers are for? The masseuse runs out to bring a supervisor. The supervisor tells Dan that they need to get him a new masseuse. He asks what is wrong with the last one? The supervisor says she recognized Dan from the trial! She apologizes but Dan understands. TTK comes in exuberant and Dan tells her about the masseuse. He tells her that the whole afternoon is a mistake.
Harriet visits Soji who wants to know what she wants? She says she has good intentions and asks Soji how he has been faring with his new-found stardom? He tells her that the star is Bimpe. She tells him that some of it may have rubbed off on him. He tries to deny it but she tells him that people have been doing him some favours. He talks about the inconvenience and she tells him that a few bodyguards will do the trick. She tells him about starring in the show. He wonders if she is mad?
Fred tells Majek that he does not want Sheila to know about the investigation. She has been through so much he does not want to add to it. He asks Fred about any information he might have on Laide. Fred tells him that she gave an interview to a TV station and disappeared. He asks after her medical contacts and wonders if she has left the country. Fred agrees that is possible. Majek needs every detail he can get.
Soji wonders whether Harriet is okay to talk of a whole season of Bimji after all he has told her? She tells him of all the benefits he can get including probably an endorsement from a camera company. He is not ready for it. She tells him that it is an opportunity for him to show Thelma that he has moved on. When he says no, she accuses him of being selfish. He tells her that Bimpe will not even agree and she says that Bimpe has agreed to do it if he is ready. He says no and opens the door for her.
Sheila tells Amaka that she is not ready for any party now. Amaka tells her that she has the PR department get a shortlist of event planners to fix the party. Sheila agrees to think of it and Amaka will run off and get the PR team to work on it. As they were talking, Freddy comes in and as he goes in, Amaka asks if he is wearing earrings. They call him back and start chewing him for piercing his ears till Sheila touches it and realizes that it is stick-ons. That is what he has been trying to tell them all these while.
One of the spa assistant tries to give Dan, who is sitting in the spa reception something and he pretends to be a dog and barks at the poor girl. Brenda comes in and wants to use the gym but there is an aerobic class going on for about the next ten minutes. She sits and chats with Dan. She asks what he has been up to? He says he is being discriminated against in his sister-in-law’s place. He has been to rehab, etc. she asks what his poison is and he tells her it is heroin. She asks if he got a sponsor? He says she seems to know a lot about these things. She claims that she is in the movie business. She says he went in and out too fast. He says he still needs to go in once in a while. She advices him to get a sponsor and work seriously on his rehab. He asks if it is because he runs a bar? She insists that he will go back to it if he does not heed her advice.
Soji calls to tell Chuks about his discussion with Harriet about doing a full season of Bimji. Chuks asks him to consider it if there is money to be made from it. He tells Chuks that everything is not about money. He says he suspects Bimpe and as they were talking, someone was on his door and he gets off the phone to open the door. Jean-Baptiste Agbabiaka De-La-Rosa marches in and asks if he thinks that she is a fool?
Amaka and Sheila ask Freddy why he will be wearing earrings? They tell him that earrings are for girls. He says no, some guys wear them on TV all the time. He was talking like a hip young man with his arms gesticulating and all. Amaka wonders why he is talking like that? Sheila removes the earrings from his ears and asks him to go to his room. Amaka suggests that they get Fred to talk with him but Sheila doubts if that will be priority for Fred now. Amaka wonders what will be more important? Sheila tells her that a private investigator came to see Fred today and they spent a while in his study. Amaka wonders what Fred will be doing with a private investigator? Sheila tells her that she has a good idea. Fred is looking for Laide.

Sheila asks Kaneng if she heard her right & asks why she thinks that Angela might be dead? Dan tells her of the news he heard while he was in prison and how the police raided the place and found blood. She asks how they knew it was Angela’s blood? Kaneng tells her that they found bottles of pills that Angela used to take. Sheila gets on the phone.
Freddy comes in to meet Fred in his study. He is going out to the mall with his friend. Fred asks if he is wearing cologne and asks if he poured the whole bottle on himself? He asks if the friend is male or female? Freddy says she is just a friend. He asks him not to stay out too late. Fred calls Amaka to ask her to come over for them to talk to Freddy about his life. Amaka asks if he has discussed with Sheila? She does not think it is in her place. Fred convinces her to come over. He also asks if he should invite Brenda? She does not think it is a good idea. She will come over afterwards.
Bimpe meets Harriet at Ziggy’s with a cap and sunglasses. Harriet asks what is with the sunglasses and hat? She says she does not want people to recognize her. People have been laughing at her since Harriet uploaded the Bimji video. The downloads have been growing since then. Harriet tells her that does not mean that people are laughing at her. She thinks they are pitying her then. Harriet tells her to make the best out of it then just like Kim Khardashian did when her sex tape came out. She rode on it to become famous and make money. Just then, Frank comes to their table with a drink for Bimpe. Some guy in the bar sent it to her and also says that he will have her if Soji will not. Bimpe tells him no, thanks and bolts from the bar.
Sankey tells Sheila that she appreciates her concern but it is still confidential police business. Sheila reminds her that she told them that it is not a good idea to use Angela to spy on Masters. She tells Sankey that she knows about the house linked to Masters. Sankey confirms that they confirmed that the blood belongs to Angela.
Soji comes to the bar and Frank asks if he and Bimpe has a timetable to ensure that they do not meet at the bar. Chuks enters the bar and Soji hails him and asks how his first day at work went? He is too tired to talk. Just then some ladies take their pictures and Frank and Chuks wonder what is going on? Since the Bimji video was uploaded, they have been following him. The one he does not like is people walking up to him to ask when the main show will air.
Sankey continues to discuss Angela with Sheila. Sheila thinks that Angela could have escaped but Sankey tells her that the forensic guy thinks that if the owner of the bllod does not get to the hospital on time, the person would have died. Sheila says Angela could have escaped but Sankey tells her it is not so. Dan overheard something in prison suggesting that Masters was furious with her people for hurting Angela.
Amaka comes in to see Fred with Toochi. Her nanny left early and she has a document for Fred to sign. They are working with the state government on creating awareness on the plight of street children. Fred is interested in that. He suggests that they talk to Freddy about meeting girls. Amaka thinks they should tread carefully. He asks if she got up to such schemes when she was young? She says no, Reginald was her first.
Bimpe tells Harriet that the taxi driver did not collect money from her after driving her around for the whole day. She wonders when taxi drivers started downloading videos. She tells her that this is only for the online video and asks when the whole thing will show? She also has received requests for endorsement from 5 companies. She is happy and says that even Telema did not receive such attention. As she calls herself a superstar, Harriet tells her that they need to resolve some issues.
Amaka and Fred talks to Freddy about dating and his relationship with girls and ask if he has been dating before? He says no. It is the same girl that invited him out before. They ask how it went? He does not know whether it went well or not. Fred understands that he can be confused about girls. They encourage him to talk to them about his friends and also to Sheila too. Toochi starts screaming and the conversation ends.
Soji and Chuks end up in Soji’s place. Chuks is happy they left the bar too early. They should have stayed at the bar and let those girls buy them more drinks. They talk about his latest project and Soji tells Chuks that there is so much suffering in the land. As he was talking, Chuks sleeps off. He wakes him and asks him to start going home. His phone rings and it is a magazine fishing for interview. He is not interested. Chuks suggests that he becomes Soji’s manager instead of looking for work. Soji tells him that hunger will kill him if he does that.
Amaka puts Toochi to bed and is happy to see Fred relaxed. He tells her that now that Dan is home, life is easier. She asks how he is doing with Sheila? He tells her that they have come to some understanding. Sheila has given him some time to resolve himself. She is happy and the company’s shares are doing well. She tells Fred that the PR Department has come up with a scheme to record his everyday life with Sheila for their wedding anniversary. He is not too keen but she promises that they will manage the whole filming.
A distracted Sheila at work calls Brenda to ask if she has heard of Angela? Brenda has not and asks if Angela has been found? Sheila says no but the police found evidence that she might be dead and tells Brenda that the police found blood identified via DNA. Brenda goes quiet but tells Sheila that Angela may not be dead. Sheila tells her that it is more like the body has not been found. She blames Brenda & Sankey for pushing Angela into it and Brenda reminds her that she did not find using Angela too bad when she needed to get Masters out of her business. Sheila does not even know why she called and Brenda tells her to keep her updated.
Amaka is ready to go to the PR team to get things started but Fred advises that she wait while he clears it with Sheila. She asks if he thinks that Sheila will agree? He does not know but think it is nice to clear with her. She will go and get things going after they discuss Toochi and how fast he is growing. As she leaves Fred calls someone to ask to meet tomorrow.
Harriet visits Bimpe and she says she is in the middle of an emergency. Someone tweeted that her face looks like a ball. She asks Harriet if her face looks like a ball? They sit down to check how many people agree with that? Her internet has expired. Harriet transfers some. She goes ahead to give Bimpe her news. She had two meetings with a shopping chain and a jewelry store. They want to endorse her. She also got a call from a cosmetics store and they are raring to get her to endorse their product. She tells Bimpe that all these will be possible only if she guarantees the showing of 13 episodes of Bimji.
Fred comes to meet Sheila pacing the kitchen. He asks for how long she has been around? She had to pass through the spa before coming home. He asks after Angela and she tells him that she might be dead. She tells him about the blood and DNA. He thinks that she may have been destined to go that way. She lived a fast life and with her entanglement with Masters, he would have been surprised if she survived.

TTK asks Dan to tell her about this discharge business as they settle into their seats in the restaurant. He tells her that he has not been fully discharged as he still needs to get in for some sessions once in a while. TTK wonders why they did not keep him to avoid his going after old habits. Salewa tells her to stop worrying Dan. Ota walks into the restaurant to Dan’s shock.
Sheila calls Amaka back. She could not believe that Amaka just did that. She reminds Amaka that she had to keep her life on hold for Amaka’s father. Amaka says she may also be held responsible for setting them up on that romantic dinner. She thinks that it was Dan’s issue and others that created the problem for Fred but Sheila tells her that it has been on for a long time. It started when she moved out of the house when Fred went after Laide.
Dan introduces Ota to TTK and Salewa. He is surprised that Ota is out that quickly and asks how that happened? Ota reminds him that he is up for early release. He asks if Dan thought that he ruined his chances when he planted that key on him? Dan apologizes and talks about working undercover for the police and also telling his lawyers about Ota after he was released. Ota tells him that he is not the only one who had people working on his behalf and also asks if Dan is claiming the success of his release? TTK steps in and tells them to pack it up and allow them celebrate the release of both of them.
Chuks calls Ene. She has been working on updating his CV and has been finding it difficult with the barely one page CV. Chuks asks her to spice it up a little. She reminds him of what happened when Bimpe helped her spice up hers and she ended up being a French interpreter that could not speak French. Chuks wonders what she will write? She reminds Chuks of his fashion training.
Amaka visits Sheila.
Dan tells Ota of how he woke up in the hospital surrounded by his family. Ota asks if that is Dan’s daughter? He tells Dan that her father spoke so much about her in prison. Dan asks if he has seen his family? Ota says no. Dan wonders what has happened? Ota says he will get to that. He gets up to leave and Dan asks where he is going to? They could drop him off. He tells Dan that he killed whatever friendship they had in prison.
Ene’s colleagues ask her how she could do that? Do what? One says that if another person had told her that Ene will embezzle their money, she would have abused the person. Ene asks what they are talking about? Mimi tells her that she has been employing delay tactics in refunding her money. Ene says she has transferred the money to Mimi’s account. Mimi is surprised but tells others that they should go to Brenda’s since Ene is still adamant. Ene tells them to check the account first before going to Brenda. They decide to check on Ene’s laptop. The internet is slow and they insist on logging on whatever it takes.
Sheila asks Fred how much he heard? He says that he heard enough. She apologizes and says that she was not reporting him to Amaka. He tells her he understands. She asks what happened? He tells her it was some foolishness. She reminds him that he said it is not physical. He says that it is not. She asks him to talk to her about it but he is not ready to talk about it.
Ota tells Dan to stay away from him.
The ladies struggle with the laptop and tell Ene that they know that it is her mind that is stopping the internet from connecting. However long it takes, they must keep at it. Mimi eventually logs in and confirms that her money is there. She apologizes to Ene and the others join in on the apology. Feke talks and Ene attacks her asking who invited her? She says she will stop being the custodian of the funds and the others insist that she continue.
Sheila is going out and Fred asks where she is going to? She says she is going out. She asks Fred if he is ready to tell her what happened. He tells her that he will rather not tell her. She leaves after confirming to her that she is not angry.
Chuks visits Soji. He has been on the streets searching for a job without success. It is either he is under-qualified or over-qualified. As he removes his shoes, Soji screams that he keep the shoes back on. He wonders how chuks could be over-qualified for a job? Chuks tells him that they could not pay him the same as a school leaver.
Dan gets back to Fred’s house and Fred remarks that he is beginning to look like his old self. He agrees. He asks if Fred is sure he can stay in the house? They do not have a problem with that. He goes upstairs to take a bath.
Chuks calls Ene to complain that his feet are swollen. She asks him why he is complaining when he did not spend the whole day? He accuses her of discouraging him. She tells him okay, he will get a call from one of the employers tomorrow, no, today. As they were talking, he gets a call and keeps Ene on hold to take the call. He gets off the call and tells her that he has been invited by one of the places he applied for a job as a manager. They want him to come in for an interview. Ene tells him that it will add a spring to his step as he moves to search for other jobs.
The doctor examines Fred and scolds him for taking the pills after he advised against them. Fred agrees that it was foolish of him. The doctor asks what he means by that? He tells the doctor that he cannot tell Sheila the truth about what is worrying him. He is bothered that he has a child that may be six months old already and has never set eyes on his father.
Kaneng asks Cosmo for Dan. He comes downstairs and tells her that he is not fully fit yet but he is getting there. He also has so many things to get used to. He tells her of meeting Ota. She is surprised and asks when he was released? Dan tells her it was yesterday. He tells her however that Ota does not want to have anything to do with him after the set-up in prison. Kaneng tells him that there are many casualties around Masters. As she mentioned that Angela may be dead, Sheila, who just walked in gasps at the news about Angela.

The doctor visits and asks Sheila what is wrong with Fred? She tells him that Fred is upstairs and is complaining of blurred vision and there is… She asks the doctor to come and see for himself.
Chuks’s mum asks him to come and let them go and see Ene’s father. Chuks says he is not going with her. He cannot face Ene’s father twice in a day. His mum tells him that her son will not abandon his marriage because of fear. Chuks says he is not afraid. He is just being careful. His mum asks him if he is afraid of another man? Chuks asks if she is comparing him to Ene’s father? His mum says she will call his uncles and handle the issue herself. Her mates are taking care of their grandchildren already. She tries to make a call and Chuks snatches the phone from her. He goes to get the door and it is Ene and her parents.
The doctor assures Sheila that Fred will be okay when he wakes up. He advises her to take it easy with Fred when he wakes up. She asks him what the cause of the symptoms were so that they can avoid it in the future. The doctor tells her that it is nothing that Fred cannot sleep off. She presses for the cause and the doctor tells her that he will leave it to Fred to tell her himself. At Sheila’s insistence, he tells her that the symptoms are those of a drug Fred may have taken. Sheila asks if he prescribed anything and the doctor tells her that he did not but she should ask Fred when he wakes up.
Chuks runs up and down and does not know what to offer to Ene’s parents. Ene’s dad tells him not to worry. They brought back his wife. They advise them on how to live and avoid such mistakes in the future. They hand Ene over to him and before they left, Ene’s father gives Chuks a cheque to pay off his debts and start off afresh. Ene and Chuks are pleasantly surprised with Chuks quickly snapping off a salute!
The counselor invites Dan to his office and tells him that he has made a lot of progress in his treatment and for that, they are living up to their end of the bargain as agreed. He can now decide whether to continue the treatment at the clinic or with his family. Dan is surprised. The doctor insists and Dan asks for the doctor’s phone so that he can call his family.
Sheila searches Fred’s study. She calls Amaka and asks her if she is aware of any drugs Fred is taking? Amaka recalls that Fred takes a cocktail of drugs. She asks Sheila if there is any problem and where Fred is? Sheila tells her that all is well and Fred is okay and asleep. Amaka says that Sheila would not have called if it is not important. Sheila tells her it is nothing and drops the call.
Chuks’s mum tells him that Ene’s parents have shown him what forgiveness is about. She advises that he does not take it for granted but show Ene’s father that he did not make a mistake by allowing him marry Ene. She asks Ene to text her account number so that she can pay in some money for them to tide over till they get their next pay cheque. Ene thinks it is not important but Chuks gladly accepts. He gets up to escort his mum but she tells him it is not necessary.
Sheila comes into the kitchen and Freddy greets her but she does not respond. As she walks out with her tea, he asks her if she has been crying? She tells him that she did not get enough sleep but she will be okay. She asks him why he did not tell her about his stay at Brenda’s? He says that she has been too busy. She asks him when he is going to finish his food but he did not hear her. She gets close and asks him to unplug the earpiece and asks what he is watching? He says it is Dannie’s collection. Sheila blows up and asks him to hand them over. He hesitates and she screams at him to hand them all over.
Chuks kneels down to apologize to Ene. She tells him to please get up. Her position in the office is already difficult even if she returns the money. He apologizes. She suggests that they cash the cheque and use it to sort out their mess. Even though she sometimes does not know what to do with him, he is still her husband. By the way, she came home with a lot of dirty laundry. He says they will take it to the dry cleaner. No, she says. He will wash them himself. A little price for the trouble he put her through. And also, he will be doing the house cleaning for a couple of weeks.
Dan meets the counselor and promises to stay the course. He will also continue to check in as agreed. Just then, Salewa comes in and hugs him excitedly. He asks after TTK and Salewa says she came alone. She wants it to be a surprise for TTK. Dan is worried about TTK’s penchant for drama. They take their leave and Arinze makes a call and tells someone to tell Alhaji that he is on his way.
Amaka visits Sheila and tells her that she was not going to stay away after her tone in the morning. Sheila insists that all is okay. Amaka asks why she asked after Fred’s drug. Sheila insists that all is okay now. Amaka surmises that things were not right before and wants to know what went wrong. Sheila tells her that things got out of hand yesterday evening and a lot of things happened at the same time. Amaka asks whether they were taking one of those walks? Sheila tells her that married couples do other things other than take a walk. Amaka catches the drift finally. Sheila comes clean and tells her that she suspects that Fred took some aphrodisiac and it affected him.
TTK was on the phone when Chuks and Ene walks into the bar to tell her that they have come to pay their debt, but first they want to apologize for borrowing from Salewa at all. Ene adds that Salewa is like a junior sister to them. TTK tells her that it is not her but Chuks that created the problem. She likes their appearance of the married couple bound together by adversity and rising like a phoenix! They hand her over the money and she advises Chuks not to ever take a woman like Ene, who is willing to stand by him in times of adversity for granted as there are not a lot of them. She asks them to run along as she is on her way out.
Amaka calls Sheila and asks how her dad is doing? Sheila tells her that he had woken up, eaten and is back to sleep. There is nothing to worry about. Amaka asks her how she could get up to that with Fred? She knew when she married him that he is no spring chicken and could be lax in those departments. She could not understand why Sheila could push him far enough to take aphrodisiac. Sheila wonders whether Amaka is accusing her of Fred’s condition? She is and while she is not yet mad at Sheila now, she will definitely be if anything happens to ‘dad’! she cuts off the call!

Ene’s parents and Chuks’s mum accost Ene about the story she told them about Chuks. She told them that Chuks is buried in work. Her brother also confirms the same. Chuks’s mum asks Ene what she did to make her run away from the house when she heard she was coming. She will call Chuks to come and explain what has been happening between him and Ene.
Fred tells the doctor that he is happy they have confirmed that it is not a physical problem like he thought. He thinks it is related to stress. The doctor agrees that it has been a difficult year; his amnesia, Dan’s issue, etc. The doctor tells him that Sheila is a young woman but she knows what she signed up for when she married him. The doctor tells Fred that now that Dan is okay, he needs to bring his marriage back to what it was. He suggests that they see a counselor. He suggests Fred sees a psychiatrist. Fred refuses to see a psychiatrist. The doctor asks why he is at the hospital then? He came to see what the doctor will prescribe for him.
Chuks visits Ene’s parents. They ask him to explain what is going on between them. Ene’s mum insists that he tells her why he sent her daughter away from the house. Ene’s dad asks Chuks to quickly explain what happened as he has not been talking because he believes that there is an explanation for what happened. The question is whether the explanation will satisfy him? Chuks tells them that he stole from his wife! They all gasp in horror.
Fred’s doctor refuses to prescribe any drugs for him. Fred tells him that he only needs it for a while before things are back to normal. The doctor tells him that by then he will be come dependent on the drug. He will not prescribe any drug for Fred. As his doctor, Fred’s well-being is his primary concern and for that, he recommends a one month therapy, nothing longer than that.
Ene’s parents ask Chuks how and why he stole from his wife? He tells them that he is going through a rough patch and it is a long story. Ene’s mum asks if it is about the textile factory which uncle Tony asked him to employ his sons? He says no, that he also lied about that. Ene’s father asks Ene why she chose Chuks of all the boys available? Chuks’s mum leaves with Chuks.
Segun confirms that the blood at the scene is Angela’s. Sankey quarrels with him over the inefficiency of the police post under which Angela’s crime was committed to get the details of the vehicle that was used.
Ene’s father tells Ene and her mum that he will not listen to their story any longer. He smelt it a long time ago that Chuks is no good. Ene’s mum reminds him that he tested Chuks and he passed. Ene tries to talk and her father shuts her up. Ene insists that she is the one that made up the story about the textile company to get her people off Chuks’s back. Her father asks her if anyone has been asking them for money? She says no but there has been so much pressure on Chuks. Her father asks if anyone has been asking them for money? Ene says no but there has been so much attention on Chuks’s finances. Her father promises to speak with everyone about them. Her mum tells her that there are always issues with men and if she had left her father when he made his mistake, she would not have been there. He reminds her that he has never stolen from her. Her mum tells her that she needs to go and pack her things. They are taking her back to her home. Her father chimes in that though they have issues with Chuks, they are taking her back home. He tells her that Chuks may have his faults but he is passionate about his fashion and if he sticks to that, he will make it.
Dan is visited by one of his therapy mates. He tells Dan that mixing with others in the common room will do him a lot of good. Dan tells him that so does a good book. He enjoys reading. The guy understands and says they may just all start enjoying their personal passions. Dan agrees & says he does not have any problem with being social. He will come to the common room. The guy tells him not to worry as he is not the authority. It is not unusual that the inmates consider the place as a prison. Dan tells him that from personal experience, prison is a whole different experience. The guy acknowledges that Dan is more experienced in that area. Dan tells him that he is quite humorous. Arise tells him that they all have their coping mechanisms and one of his own is to see the funny side of life. Dan asks what the other one is? Arise rummages in his pocket and fishes out a wrap of drug!
Sheila gets home and orders for a cup of tea from Cosmos. Fred comes in and lays his charm on her. She asks him what he wants? He tells her that he wants to sit and chat with his wife. He has reconsidered Amaka’s idea. They should go on the trip. To what effect? She asks. They will be alone, he tells her. She gets up and walks away from him after complaining that they can continue to keep up their appearances, which is what they are good at. Fred calls Titus and asks if he is still in the premises? They will be going out again.
Fred asks for some of what Sheila is eating. She passes everything to him. He asks if she is busy now? She wants to know why. He needs a massage, but she tells him that she is no longer hands-on. He asks if she is avoiding giving him the massage because she has lost her magic touch? She asks if he is questioning her skills? No, but he is wondering if she is avoiding him. She tells him to wait a moment and he will see she has not lost her skills. He smiles as she goes to get ready.
Dan berates the guy for coming to his room with narcotics. He asks why the guy is endangering his recovery? The guy says he does not take the drugs daily. He is not an addict. Dan asks why he is risking getting caught? The guy asks if Dan will snitch on him? Dan says he is no snitch. The guy wonders whether Dan needs a hit? Dan tells him off. The guy tells him that he is not an addict and offers Dan some.
Chuks’s mum berates Chuks for lying as one lie leads to another. He endangered Ene’s job by stealing from her. She could have lost her job if her colleagues had accused her of stealing and embezzlement. Chuks says that he tried to reach Ene so that they fix the issue and his mum tells him that whatever she did was justified. If not, they would not have known what is going on. She insists that Chuks goes to Ene’s house to ask for her back on his knees and whatever her family says, he has to bear it. He wonders whether it is already late? She tells him that he must try and she is sure that Ene will come around.
The drug addict that claims that he is no addict tries to convince Dan that the drug is not as addictive as the one in use outside? Dan tells him that he is done using drugs. The guy tries so hard to convince him. Dan tells him that everyone does not need drugs to get by. The guy tells him that he is not one of them. Dan asks how he knew that? He could see the signs. He asks Dan to go ahead and receive the drug. Dan collects the wrap and as the guy turns to go get other things, he tears the wrap apart and spills the drug all over the place as the guy tries to stop him without success.
Sheila rushes downstairs scrambling for her phone. She manages to get it and calls the doctor to rush by as something is happening to Fred. She drops the phone and dashes back upstairs!

Dan cries on the phone with TTK. He is not happy the way he is disappointing everyone. TTK chews him & asks if he wants Francesca to hear him crying like a baby? She advises him to take charge of himself, deal with the drug issue and then Francesca will nit have to deal with one more thing when she sees him. She also advises him not to try and contact Francesca again and clicks off.
Brenda asks Freddy if it is not past his bedtime? He tells her that it is nit 9pm yet. She asks him what he is doing on his laptop? He tells her that he is playing around with some codes. She does not understand what he means but asks if he is one of those nerds? Freddy tells her that he may be a geek but certainly not a nerd. Freddy asks Brenda if she is a widow? She is shocked and he explains that Amaka is a widow & Fred is a widower. Brenda tells him that she has never been married. He asks her why? She is getting too old for marriage! She tells him to forget all those his good girls like bad boys theory. If he finds a girl he likes, he should attack and if he continues to play on his gadgets like this, he will end up without a girl to talk to him. He tells her that he can spin games in real life with girls. She gives him some long-winding advice about how to plot to get a girl which leaves the boy more confused.
Chuks asks if the food is ready? His mum remembers how stubborn he gets ver breakfast. She hopes Ene is a good cook and he agrees that she is. She asks how they have been coping with married life? Chuks says they have been coping and describes Ene as his conscience, etc. His mum agrees and says she is happy for him. She will go to Ene’s parents place to thank them for giving them such a good girl. Chuks tells her to rest first and rushes off.
The counseling session is on and is about fear. The counselor asks for a volunteer and Dan steps up but wants to talk about something else. The counselor agrees but asks him to introduce himself. He thought everyone already knows him. He introduces himself as an addict and apologizes for his intransigence. He is not better than them all and will need their assistance in the journey to normalcy.
Brenda brings Freddy home to Amaka’s. Amaka tells her that she just got back from the hospital. Brenda tells her that her presence at a couple of family events does not mean that she is going to start doing favors for the Ade-Williams. She has her company and life to run. As she leaves, Amaka apologizes to Freddy about Brenda being unreasonable but Freddy tells her that she was not that bad.
Ene is accosted by Mimi in the office. Her landlady abused her this morning thanks to Ene. Ene tells her a long tale about getting home late and forgetting to do the transfer till now. Mimi tells her to transfer that money or … Ene asks if she is being called a liar? Mimi says she is being suspicious and tells Ene that if she does not get her money, she will conclude that Ene embezzled the ajo money and report to everyone in the office including Brenda and HR!
Cosmos greets a stone-faced Seila at the breakfast table and runs away when he sees her face. Fred comes downstairs and she suggests that he sees a doctor. He flares up & tells her that he is okay. He is just pre-occupied with other things. She insists that it may be his stroke drugs but he insists that they are no longer teenagers and there are other parts to the relationship other than physical. She asks if it is because they are married? He thinks she is being childish when she reminds him that he did not give the same speech to Laide when they were getting some under the same roof. He reminds he that she is the one that told Amaka of the problem between them but she insists that he refused to look at her when she wanted to discuss it between them!
The counseling session is over and the counselor specially thanks Dan for sharing with them. He dismisses the session and called Dan back. He was not expecting Dan at the day’s session but Dan reminds him that they had an agreement. He agree to continue to come and take I one day at a time.
Chuks asks Frank if TTk is coming around that Fay? Frank assures him that she is not coming. He does not want to be embarrassed. He asks them if the kitchen is open? He is hungry. Afi asks if he has the money? He tells them to put it on his tab but the remind him that he has no tab. TTK told them not to ive him anything on credit. He insists that she cannot do that. As they were discussing, TtK walks in but was busy searching for her key in her handbag. Frank tells Huks she is around and confirms that she has not seen him. Chuks dives under the bar table. TTK asks Frank if she gave him her keys?
Amaka apologizes for making Freddy late for school. She asks if he wants breakfast. He tells her that he had some breakfast at Brenda’s. She asks how they got along? Freddy says I was okay. Brenda gave him advice on how to plan and do whatever i takes to get girls. Amaka asks him to wait in the car and calls Brenda to quarrel with her over the age-inappropriate advice to Freddy. Brenda tells her that it is not her job to parent Freddy and drops the phone!
TTK berates the counselor about Dan’s access to phone and calling Salewa yesterday. The counselor apologizes and says it is his fault. She berates him for that after all the money they have spent. the counselor tells her that he is happy he allowed Dan use the phone as it has made him a lot better and he now participates in the sessions. He is glad he bent the rule a little. TTK tells him that speaking of bending the rules a little, she needs to ask him for a little favour!
Mama Chuks asks where Chuks has been? He tells her he went to Ziggy’s Bar. His mum thought he is the one running the bar now? Chuks tells her that he had to concentrate on other things. He asks why she is dressing up? She wants o go and see Ene’s parents. Chuks asks that they postpone it. He has some sketches to finish for an important client. She then decides to go shopping instead. Chuks is relieved.
One of the spa staff rouse Sheila and ask her if she is going to sign the vouchers? She gets to it and when she is through, Amaka calls to tell her of the irresponsible advice Brenda gave to Freddy about girls. She has called Brenda to tell her off. Sheila tells her that she is are she did that. Amaka suggests that it is time they talk about Freddy and girls. Sheila tells her off and tells her to mind herself and Toochi. It is not n her place to draw up dos and don’ts for others. she accuses Amaka of meddling and creating kore problems for her and Ferd with her meddlesomeness and idea of two of them spending time alone. She finishes and drops the line!
Ene’s mum comes home from the market with Chuks’s mum! Ene’s dad welcome them and ask how they met? Chuks’s mum says she called to tell Ene’s mum that she is around and Ene’s mum was not far from where she was. They talk about Chuks and his busy schedule with his designs. They talk about the wedding and how Aunty Nkechi was chasing Ziggy all over the place. They thank God the marriage is going well. Just then, Ene walks in and Chuks’s mum asks her when she came back from her seminar? Ene’s parents exchange looks.
TTK and Salewa visit Dan in his quarters. They came to give him moral support. He is happy at the visit and tells her that he will work on becoming a father she will be proud of again. She tells him that she is always proud of him and he should get better quick and stop flaring up always. He is working on that too. He hugs her and they laugh as TTK watches delightedly.

Amaka gets home with Freddie and hopes he is comfortable. As he goes to get food for Freddie, she gets a text message. They have been trying to reach her. Toochi is in the hospital. He asks Freddie to come along but he would rather stay back. He does not like hospitals. Amaka also will not allow him go home.
Carol begs Salewa to stop cleaning. As she refuses, Carol tries to stop her when TTK comes in and orders Carol to leave her alone. Salewa asks her about what Dan is taking when they settle down. She tells Salewa that Dan has finally agreed to go into rehab. Salewa is worried that they will lock him up. TTK says his movement will be restricted. She invites Salewa to go to the bar with her but Salewa is still mourning her father.
Soji meets Chuks eating eba and stew. Chuks likes it like that and invites him to join him. Soji thanks him and hopes that Ene comes back soon for his stomach’s sake. Chuks says an abandoned husband must have a swallow. Soji tells him to go and get his wife. He says it is not that easy. Soji wonders if her is afraid of bingo? No, he is afraid of making a fool of himself. Soji encourages him to go ahead and look for Ene and leaves.
Amaka and Freddie land in Brenda’s in the night. She wonders what is going on and asks if Fred is ok? Amaka says he is but her son is not and asks Brenda to look after Freddie as she tries to leave. Brenda says no, what is she going to do with the boy? Freddie reminds her of his name. Amaka sasy he will be there for a shortwhile while she gets her baby from the hospital. Brenda asks why he is there and why he can’t go home? Amaka tells her it is a long story and asks why she has been hanging around the house if she is not family? Brenda worries that Freddie seems ill-mannered but Amaka assures her that he is okay and leaves.
Salewa tells Frank that TTK says the receipt is not correct. He attaches the right one as Salewa laments why things are not just the same? Frank agrees that things have really changed since Ziggy died. Salewa remembers when Ziggy and her dad used to gist and laugh. He thinks she should be happy now that he father has been released. She tells him that he is backed in hospital. He has also changed and is more aggressive now. Frank assures her that everything will be ok.
Chuks’s mum visits and he thought she will come at the end of the week. His mum asks after Ene and hopes she has been taking good care of him. He says she is doing well. She says she has been trying Ene’s number. Chuks claims that she went for a seminar with her boss. His mum wonders whether she will come back soon? He says she may not.
Freddie asks if Brenda always eats her meals alone? She does not and asks if he always places his elbows on the table when he eats? Freddie asks after her brother, Kwame? Uncle Kwame, Brenda corrects him. Freddie asks if he has gone after Dannie? Brenda says he has better things than to go after that hippie. She asks him what the boys have seen in Dannie? He tells her to ask her brother who is always shadowing her. Amaka calls and Brenda hopes she is coming to get Freddie? No, they are keeping Toochi in the hospital overnight. She will come and get him first thing in the morning.
Mimi meets Ene in the boardroom on her way home. She wants the ajo money to pay her landlady. Ene says she forgot her online banking password and will do that at home. Mimi reminds her to do that as she does not want to get introuble with her landlady.
The counsellor discusses with Dan who thinks his case is way better than that of the people in the rehab. He acknowledges that he is an addict and not like all those people out there. He asks the counsellor to concentrate on those ones. He will do his time there and when it is time, he will go home. The counsellor insists thathe plays an active role in the discussions.
Chuks’s mum complains that it looks like Ene and Chuks have not been spending time together since they got married. His mum wonders what kind of a job makes a newly-married woman travel up and down with her boss and asks Chuks to guard his territory. Chuks wonders what she means? She tells him that temptations must be avoided. He smiles and tells her that Ene’s boss is a woman. She relaxes and asks that they make the most of their time together.
Sheila is happy and says that Fred has outdone himself after their dinner. He tells her he is inspired. She asks where the inspiration came from? He comes around the table and kisses her neck. She remarks that he is making the best of the empty house but he says he he is taking advantage of their relationship as he clears their table.
The members of Dan’s rehab team talk of their experiences in the group. The counsellor asks a snickering Dan if he has any further thing to add? Dan becomes disagreeable and tells them that he was forced to do drugs and he stopped when it was over. He asks if there is any other person there with such a trait? The counsellor asks him to respect what they are doing and he leaves shortly after.
Ene comes home to join her parents at dinner. As they settle to eat, they tell her that they are worried about her and asks if she quarrelled with her husband? She says no. She has only been stressed and if they are worried, she will go back tomorrow. They tell her that they now believe her. As they start to eat, her mum picks up her phone and sees 24 missed calls from Chuks. Ene says she must have missed all the calls while at work she will send him a text and call later. Her father eyes her knowingly.
Sheila comes downstairs and flings the bouquet of flower away in a huff. Fred comes downstairs shortly after in a robe and says he is sorry. She tells him that he is always sorry and looks away.
Dan meets the counsellor who is surprised that Dan is still awake. Dan begs him to allow him make a call. The counsellor will only allow that if Dan agrees to participate fully in tomorrow’s session. He finally agrees and Dan calls and asks TTK to allow him speak with Salewa. She tells him that it is a wrong time. Salewa just learnt of his addiction that day. he is shocked and wonders what she will think of him now that she knows? TTK tells him that he can pull it through. He breaks down and cries for help.

Ene’s phone rings and she asks why Bimpe wants to come and stay in her parent’s place? Bimpe says it is for support. Why else will she want to come and stay with her? Ene she has all the support she needs at home. Bimpe says that her parents cannot support her when they do not know what she is going thru. Besides, none of them is a WAG, wives and girlfriends. Ene tells her that she is technically no one’s girlfriend. Bimpe pretends to cry and Ene cuts her off. She says that Harriet is about to upload the clips of Bimji and she needs to find a place to hide. She needs to go incognito. Incognito, Ene corrects. She will however not allow Bimpe to come and stay in her house. She does not want her family to hear of her and Chuks.
TTK does not think so much of the rehab resort. It reminds her of a casting reading. The doctor tells him that the sessions are necessary for the rehab. Fred asks after the qualification of the doctor? He tells them that he is qualified with a degree in both general medicine and other areas. Dan does not think so much of him and the doctor elaborates that the doctor in charge also teaches and has articles in learned journals. When Dan scoffs, he tells them that it is normal for the patient to show reluctance.
Ohakanu is having a drink when Soji enters. He tries to get a drink off Soji who is not interested. Ohakanu follows him to his desk and talks about the brilliant work he did at Makoko. He says the writer calls it inconsequential. Soji tells him that it mattered to those involved. He tells Soji about the flood victims and when Soji asks why he is interested in it, he says that even a drunk has to get home at noght and it is more difficult when everywhere is flooded. He encourages Soji to work on it.
Sheila visits Amaka who is surprised. She thought Sheila and Fred went out together. Sheila says she did not go. She accuses Amaka who is trying to get her to talk about the issues of being a part of the problem. She apologizes but complained that she does not know how she became who she is now, a trophy wife, a matriach of the Ade-Williams. She cannot even get her suya. Amaka encourages her to take things easy. She complains that she does not even know why she is still in the marriage.
The counsellor meets with Dan to set the ground rules for the treatment. Dan asks what he should call him? He says he may be called Dr. Counsellor, or whatever. He asks Dan to surrender his phone and personal effects. There is an early lights out & no extra foods other than food from the kitchen. Dan says he might as well be back in the federal prisons but reluctantly hands in his stuff.
Amaka walks into Freddie watching DVDs on his laptop. She asks after Fred but Freddie says he may be in the bedroom as he tries to hide what he is watching. She asks if he misses Dannie and asks what he misses about her? She is funny and cool and they talk. Amaka tells him it is okay to have a crush as Freddie packs up and runs.
Soji visits Chuks who lies forlornly and keeps trying Ene’s phone that is switched off. Soji asks him to take it easy and call later but Chuks says later is now. Soji tells him that he wants to go for a new project; he wants to make a coffe table portfolio of flood victims. Chuks asks where he will get the funds for the project? He is ready to break his savings.
Fred meets Amaka who talks to him about Sheila. Sometimes women feel neglected and crave for attention. He asks if Sheila has been talking to her? Amaka says no but they talked. He tells her that he has not given Sheila an opportunity to doubt his affections. She thinks that Sheila misses somethings. She suggests they take a trip together. He worries about Dan in rehab and Amaka tells him that they have enough people to take care of Dan and suggests they take a trip to somewhere exotic.
Chuks asks if Soji is okay? The same money he refused to touch even when his landlord wanted to throw him out? He knows Soji and thinks he is not telling it all. He thinks that Soji wants to dodge the upload of the Bimji video.
Fred appreciates Amaka’s intervention but will not leave Dan now. Amaka insists that his marriage is also in distress. He says that it will take more than a trip to Hawaii. She suggests they start with a dinner. She will take Freddie home tonight.
Chuks asks Soji to level with him. Soji accepts that he may not want to be around when the video is released. He suggests they all pool funds and travel but Chuks says no. He will stand his ground and take his beating like a man. Soji wonders whether Chuks is calling him a coward?
Sheila comes home to a room filled with flowers and meets a bouquet on the chair for her. She follows the trail to the dining room where Fred waits with a drink and two glasses. He welcomes her home and she asks if he thinks that food and drink will make a difference? He asks her to give him a chance.
The counsellor asks Dan to introduce himself. Dan picks offence and insists on being called his name. The counsellor tells him that it is for the benefit of the other members of the group. He goes ahead to introduce Dan who picks further offence and says that he will leave there if they aggravate him further. The counsellor continues and tells them to pick partners. Dan refuses to get up and the counsellor encourages his partner to go ahead as Dan does not bite. Freddy calls Dannie in USA. She confirms that she got in safely. He accuses her of forgetting to call as she promised. She apologizes and says she has a lot to attend to. He tells her that she left some of her things behind and asks for her permission to use them. She says it is fine, so long as he does not lose anything.
Chuks walks dejectedly into Bimpe’s flat. She asks him what is happening? Ene is still not picking his calls. She suggests that he calls her from a different phone. He says no. He does not want to trick her into answering his calls. She asks him to get Soji to call her but he believes that Ene will know that Soji is calling on his behalf. He suggests she calls Ene instead. After some reluctance, she agrees and calls Ene. Ene brusquely asks what she wants? She is not in the mood for gusts now. Bimpe asks her what she is doing in her father’s house? Chuks now has a new girlfriend. Chuks looks daggers at her! Ene asks her what that means?
Sheila brushes past Amaka not the kitchen. Amaka tries to make small talk but she refuses to turn from the sink to listen. Freddy comes in to talk about Dannie’s things & Amaka tries to stop him but he pushes past her to Sheila. Sheila shoos him off & Amaka tries to tell him to leave but he will not hear that. Sheila finally shouts on him & he runs off. Amaka asks Sheila what just happened at lunch?Sheila tells her that it is nothing that has not always been there. It is the Ade-Williams’s clan and their penchant for keeping appearances. She thinks that she should start preparing for a party!
Ene asks Bimpe what she means by that? Bimpe hesitates and Ene insists that she talk. Bimpe then tells her that Chuks does not have any girlfriend. She wonders why Ene abandoned Chuks when she almost had a heart attack now that she heard that Chuks has a girlfriend? Ene agrees that she still loves Chuks but needs time to sort herself out. Bimpe tells her to come back & put the poor guy out of his misery. Ene is not ready yet. Bimpe asks her to talk to Chuks but she cuts the phone.
Dan screams at Cosmo. He is looking for his pills. Cosmo tells him that he has the pills & has been instructed to administer the pills. Dan is furious that he is not even trusted to take his own drugs. He screams for Fred but Cosmo begs him not to shout saying there is no need for shouting. Dan tries to leave the house but the door was locked. He turns to Cosmo who tells him that he has been told to ensure that Dan does not leave the house! Dan is too infuriated to talk.
Freddy nips into Fred’s study to search for Dannie’s things. He discovers them in one of the drawers & takes them with him.
Sheila apologizes to Fd for what she said at lunch. He wants to know what made her say what she said and before Amaka! Sheila tells him that one of the main reasons why she married him was because of his rare quality of speaking the truth even when it does not favour him. He agrees that it is not always easy. She however tells him that he is currently not being himself. He is being a hypocrite. Fred could not believe what he is hearing.
Harriet is excited as she walks not Bimpe’s apartment. Bimpe wonders if her excitement is because Soji is dumping her? Harriet is excited at the first cut of the show which is ready. Bimpe says she will have to watch it to understand where the excitement is coming from. She however still has reservations about releasing the video. Harriet tells her all the good sides. Bimpe thinks of the worst that will happen when the video is out and concludes that at the worst, she will skip town for a while about the time of the release.
Fred asks Seila what makes him a hypocrite? Sheila accuses him of hiding behind others & their issues. She is dissatisfied. Fred tells her not to blame him for her dissatisfaction. She is sure that he does not want to discuss why she is dissatisfied!
Harriet shows Bimpe the counter to the release of Bimji. Visitors to the website have already started commenting on the site. From 5,000 visitors, it jumped to 5,100 as they were watching! Harriet tells Bimoe that this is her comeback moment.
TTK & Salewa visits Dan. He tells TTk that he thought she is avoiding him. They discuss his going in for rehab and he asks them if the terms of his release includes transfer to another prison? Fred tells him that they are forced to take those drastic decisions because of Dan’s actions. Dan protests this. He accuses Fred of pretending to be the clean guy but he knows him better than that! While Fred is solving other people’s problems, Dan asks who is solving his? Fred leaves him and goes upstairs but Dan continues to rail at him. As he takes a break from his tirade & turns to TTK, she stops his rant with a well-placed slap! Dan screams “Yeee!”
Dan asks TTK what that was for and she tells him to get a grip on himself. She thinks he is intent on destroying himself. He tells her that he feels crowded, as if he is not there while issues about him are being discussed. TTK tells him that is what happens when a man trips & falls. He can get up or decide to stay down. Dan tells her that she is making mountains out of a mole hill. She tells him that there is another mountain to watch. Salewa is afraid of the ogre he has become and is avoiding him! Dan sobers as she leaves.
Bimpe is all dressed to go out. On her way, she suddenly stops and makes a call.
Freddy meets Dan & asks if all is well with him? He tells him yes. Freddy asks after Salewa and Dan says he has left. He confides in Freddy that she is afraid of him. Freddy asks him what he did to her? Freddy tells Dan of his dad and how he was afraid of him. He calls him closer & holds him close as Amaka enters.
Bimpe calls Ene and asks if she can stay with her for the weekend? Ene wonders why Bimpe wants to come and stay with her in her father’s house? Ene asks her if she is through with talking for “you know who?” Bimpe pretends not to know who she is talking of? They eventually agree that she is referring to Chuks. Bimpe is not thinking about Chuks now.
TTK enters Fred’s house and asks what is wrong? The message she got says it is urgent! Dan apologizes to all of them about all that he had done. Fred tries to stop him but he continues. He tells them that he has decided to do what is needed to overcome his demons!

Dan is accosted about Fred’s drugs. He explains that he may be suffering from the effects of the drugs he is taking and apologizes. Fred tells him they understand and now he can start his journey to recovery. Dan says no. He appreciates all the support she is getting but coming from a prison, he is not ready to go into rehabilitation again.
Soji tells Harriet he has not been hiding from her. She asks why he has not responded to her on the show? He is not interested. She insists on hearing from him and when he turns his back on her, she tells him her efforts are to ensure that she avoids a lawsuit. He assures her that no one will sue her. She is happy as that allows her to play around with the way the editing of the final copy goes. That gets Soji’s attention.
Everyone, TTK, Amaka, the counsellor chimes in on why Dan should check into rehab. The counsellor tells him that he cannot go through the treatment at home. TTK tells him that they are not judging him but want him to become the man they know and love. He tells them that he would rather be at home than any hospital.
As Harriet turns to leave, Soji stops her and asks what she meant by freedom to edit the show as she sees fit? Harriet gives him the option of the seeing the first cut of the show before they agree on the final cut. She asks him to choose his place or Bimpe’s for them to see it together. He is not comfortable with that and asks if they cannot watch the clips separately? Harriet asks him if it is guilty conscience or his hatred for Bimpe that is bringing out that kind of reaction from him? She insists that they cannot view separately. He reluctantly agrees to Bimpe’s apartment.
Dan says no to going for any rehab. The counsellor tries to explain that he cannot go through the treatment at home as it will subject his family to undue pressure. Dan tells them that the mistake they are making is that he is not an addict. He has not touched any drugs since he was released from prison and he is still not dead. The counsellor makes him an offer; if he checks into rehab, they will release him if the first phase of treatment goes well. He is not interested in the deal.
Amaka chimes in and tells Dan about the story she was told of how Reginald tried to cover up his addiction and pleads with him to listen to them. Dan exploded on her and asks her to stop comparing him to Reginald. He wonders what her place in the discussion is and insists that she is assuming too much privilege by getting involved in the discussion. Fred shots on him to stop as Amaka has as much right as everyone to be in that room and she is also worried about his recovery as Amaka sobs in one corner. Dan storms out on all of them and goes upstairs.
Freddie walks into the kitchen and meets Sheila sifting through Dannie’s food. She offers him some but he refuses to touch any of them. Cosmo comes in with more of Dannie’s things which she left behind and Freddie begs Sheila to let him keep some of the useful items. Sheila says no. Freddy begs and she tells him that she will have to check the DVDs first t ensure that they do not contain harmful materials.
Soji & Bimpe watch the recording of Bimji and Soji protests at the harsh way he is portrayed. He complains and about statements he claims he never made but Bimpe screams that he said those things and they are his true intentions. She accuses him of being wicked, or which other man will take a girl to Kenya just to break up with her?Harriet tells Soji to chill.
Sheila meets Fred who has been sitting out in the sitting room since 3am. She asks why he has been sitting there & asks him to come to bed. He says he has been reading. He tries to get up but sits down back again after feeling pains. She thinks he has been sitting for too long & also suggests that it may be better if they get a new bed. He thinks it is not just the bed. He may need to start sleeping in the guest room. Sheila asks him if he has anything he wants to talk about? Fred is surprised at her outburst as she walks away from him.
Soji & Bimpe continue to bicker. Harriet calls a one-hour break to enable them calm their nerves. While they are at it, she also asks Soji to be a gentleman & buy them brunch.
Amaka visits for lunch & tries ti get Sheila’s spirit up with little success. She asks what the issue is but Sheila brushes her off. She suggests a number of new things she thinks will spice up Sheila’s life like romantic walks, etc but Sheila is not biting. She asks how their Valentine’s Day went? Sheila does not have a good story to tell. Amaka reminds her that it will soon be their anniversary & suggests that they take time off & be with each other alone.
Bimpe protests that they have not finished yet as Harriet gets ready to leave. Harriet tells her that she has a deadline to meet. She promises to finish the editing & not to make it as bad as it looks. Bimpe & Soji stare at each other after she leaves & after a while, he leaves without exchanging a single word with her.
Amaka talks to Fred who asks after Dan? He is worried that Dan has been locked up in his room all day & wonders if he has eaten? Amaka tells him Dan is okay. she suggests that Fred takes time off with Sheila. Fred does not think the time is right especially NIW that they have Dan to take care of. He instead suggests they hold a party & invite most of their friends. Fred is not very hungry and stops eating. He wants to call Dan’s counsellor.
Segun tells Sankey that he is working on the DNA sample. Sankey is annoyed that it is still taking this long. He however tells her that the doctors hopes that from the amount of blood spilled, that the patient was quickly rushed to the hospital or he would have died. The blood sample and the blood on the floor belong to the same person.
Sheila is furious that Fred is hiding from her & using Dan’s condition as a shield. She tells him to go ahead & run as usual. Fred is furious & Amaka tries to broker peace. Sheila will not have Fred talk to her as a child & insists that she is his wife & will not be treated otherwise. Fred gets up & storms out of the dining room!

Dannie and Kwame discuss their relationship. She does not expect a perfect Kwame. He asks her not to make decisions she cannot defend. He reminds her that she has a thesis to defend. She tells him that she does not find him a bad person and she also has her own issues. He tells her that she does not seem to consider all she knows about him. He is surprised that she has insecurities and asks her what these insecurities are over? She is afraid of losing him!
Bimpe tells Soji and Chuks that she has been Bolingbrook yam and needs sugar! Soji asks her how she is? She tells him she is okay but notes that he seems to have lost some weight. He tells her that he has been working out. Chuks clears his throat & Bimpe asks if he is okay? She advises that he gets himself checked out for TB as it has been circulating for a while now. Chuks tells her to go and look for sugar at the stores as he does not know where the sugar in the house is and she is disturbing his man to man talk with Soji. She scoffs at that but asks for Ene. She is sure that Ene will know where the sugar is. Chuks tells her that Ene is not around and may not be coming back. She is surprised and wonders where Ene is.
Dan is asked to explain how he got Fred’s pills. He apologizes & says he is not sure. He thinks that the drugs he is using ma be having some side effects which is affecting him. Fred laments the effects of Dan’s association with Masters, that petty criminal has caused. Dan says that this is it. He is leaving as he cannot allow anyone to talk to him like that. He will not allow anyone to dictate to him. As he storms off, Fred quickly calls TTK to come. He tells her that there is an issue with Dan.

Kwame asks Dannie about her fears as she reclines on his body on the sofa. She asks why he wants to get into her mind? She explains that she saw her parents go through a very bitter time and try to cover it up till it became quite bad. He asks her if it affected her in any way! She accepts that it made her afraid if relationships. He tells her that he feels like he is just beginning to know the real Dannie. Dannie reminds him of the statement he made in the lift in Ghana about wanting a relationship and asks if he still wants that? She is ready to try that now. He asks her if she is sure especially after all he did to her, he deleted her emails, etc? She tells him that she is not looking for a relationship with a saint. She also reminds him that she cannot stay and will soon have to leave. He says he knows and asks her how soon she will be leaving? Her bags are packed already and she will be leaving as soon as she picks them up. He suggests they make the best of the short time they have together.
Bimpe asks Chuks if he drove Ene away? He says no. She wonders why Ene will leave suddenly and not come back? Soji explains that Ene and Chuks quarreled and she has gone to stay with her parents and is not taking his calls. Chuks asks her to feel free and put all the blame on him. She tells him not to worry, that Ene will be back. He asks how she knows that? She explains that Ene is head over heels with him. She cannot stop taking about him. Even the day they went to the club, Ene continued to talk Chuks this Chuks that and could not stop until she drove a guy that bought them a drink away with her Chuks talk. She tells Chuks that whatever she gave Ene is working. Chuks thanks her & says she knows how to encourage someone better than other people there, looking at Soji!
Dannie & Kwame are reclining on each other on the floor and she explains that she needs to get her things and head to the airport. She tells him not to look so sad but he says he is not. It is just that she suddenly has to leave now that everyone is beginning to warm up to her. She agrees & tells him about her discussion with Brenda. Kwame is surprised at Brenda’s change of heart. Dannie tells him how she went all Don Corleone on her, telling her “We are the Mensahs. You are either with us or not!”. Kwame thinks that Brenda is trying to prove right her theory that he only wants the women who does not want him. They agree to work to prove her wrong.
Harriet visits Bimpe and tells her that it is time for action. She has 3 pilot episodes of Bimji to be released online. Bimpe is no longer interested. she believes that the film will ruin her reputation if it is shown. Harriet tells her that it is not so. They will use it to show the good parts of her. She is worried that no guy will date her if that is released but Harriet has a different opinion.
Dan is ready to leave but Fred and TTk try to convince him not to leave. He struggles with the door and screams to be let out. Fred tells him that all of them in the room, including Amaka, Sheila & a counsellor are there to see him get better. They all beg him to consider going into rehabilitation including the counsellor who gives his expert opinion. When they will not open the door? Dan leaves his bag at the door and walks into the kitchen.

Harriet tells Bimpe that it is not all about her. She reminds Bimoe’s that someone invested money to make the movie. Bimpe does not care. Harriet reminds her that the money she made from Black Ananse will soon run out and her fans will snicker when they see her broke. When Bimpe will not budge, Harriet tells her that they can edit the show to show her good sides and get the viewers to show empathy. Bimpe says she wants no one’s sympathy. Harriet says she is talking empathy but when Bimpe struggles with the difference, Harriet moves on.
Dan meets Freddy in the kitchen and Freddy asks him what is going on? Dan says it is nothing. It is just adults discussing loudly. Freddy insists on knowing what is happening? He surmises that Dan does not want to go back to the hospital and Dan agrees. He tells Dan that he also had that kind of issue with his refusal to go back to boarding house and when he explained her position, he was allowed to stay and suggests that Dan try to explain why he does not want to go back to the hospital. Dan does not show so much enthusiasm but Freddy got his attention when he asks if he does not want to get well?
Sheila asks where Cosmo is going with bags & he explains that Dannie called for him to bring them. They suddenly remember that they had locked the door and opens to let Dannie and Kwame in. She says her goodbyes to everyone. She will miss Maksi’s (Amaka) disapproving scowls and asks Sheila and Fred to ensure that they continue their morning walks. Fred is happy that she fixed things with Kwame. She hugs everyone including Freddy & leaves.
Frank welcomes Soji to the bar and asks after Bimoe’s and the cameraman? They can do with some excitement at the bar! He tells Frank that it is over between him and Bimpe. Frank is surprised and wonders what will happen to the footage they have already recorded? Soji says he left it to Bimpe and Harriet to decide. Harriet who just walked in asks if she heard her name mentioned?
Dannie & Kwame are in the car. She says her goodbye & tells him not to miss her too much. She may be back sooner than he expects. He asks if she plans to be back soon? She does not know but tells him that you never know.

Cosmo brings Dannie’s phone which she forgot outside. She calls back the number that called her and tells them that she did not send in anything.
Fred tells the doctor and Dan that it was quite fast. The doctor tells them that he gave Dan a strong analgesic. Dan complains that it does not work. Fred tells him to take it on the chin and stop complaining. Sheila also chimes in that even Fred is also suffering. Dan reminds them that Fred is not recovering from a stab wound. He asks them to allow him continue his consultation with the doctor. Fred and Sheila find a reason to leave. Dan asks the doctor to up the dose of his pain killer. The doctor tells him that he has told him why he cannot do that. The pain he is feeling is from his addiction. He advises Dan to consider checking into rehab. Dan vehemently refuses saying that the doctor wants to lock him up like an animal, a dog. Sankey walks in then and the doctor scrams. Dan asks what Sankey is doing there? She tells him that she came to see him for herself after he made everyone crazy by running away. she has a question for him; is he now a drug addict?
Ene is at home when her phone rings. When she sees it is Chuks, she drops the phone and goes back to lie down. Chuks calls Soji and asks him to come as Ene has left him.
Dannie barges into Brenda’s and asks after Kwame. Brenda tells her that around here, people greet first before asking questions. Dannie says she is not big with customs and Brenda adds common sense to that. Dannie greets her and asks for Kwame. Brenda says she must be desperate. Dannie grabs her phone but Brenda collects the phone from her. She wants them to have tea, chat first and then she will tell Dannie where Kwame is. Dannie has some ideas where Kwame might be. She wonders whether this is the part where Brenda tells her to stay away from Kwame? Brenda says she will talk and she will tell her to take care of Kwame.

Dan thinks that Sankey has the nerves to ask him after addiction. She tells him about her aunt Carol; a nice lady inspite of her arthritis and whenever she visited her, she will give her chewing gum and she is dependent on some white tablets. Sankey thought nothing of that until the tablets finished and the lady went berserk. She asks if Dan is an addict again? He wonders if she is worried that he will not be a good star witness? She tells him that she is worried that she is not responsible for what he is going through. If he got hooked on drugs, she will feel that the enemy scored one on them. He tells her that he has been clean since he came out of jail. She is happy to hear that.
Soji tells Chuks that he should have called him. He tells her that he did not call him to come and lecture him. He is bothered that Ene has left for good. Soji tells him that Ene will come back. She is just annoyed. Chuks is worried that Ene’s parents will keep her from him. He felt like someone dropped a hot iron on him when she left.
Brenda tells Dannie to try John’s sandwiches as they are good enough to die for. She asks if there is meat as she is a vegetarian. Brenda is surprised. She would have considered Dannie a carnivore. Dannie asks what the discussion is for? Brenda asks what happened between them in Ghana? She insists that it is between her and Kwame. Brenda asks what it will take to make Dannie to unmake her travel plans? Dannie reels out a long list of things and when she finishes, Brenda asks her how much? Dannie is surprised that Brenda is offering to pay her off.
TTK meets Dan lying on the couch and asks why he is not lying upstairs? He gets up and as they chat, Kaneng comes in. Dan enthusiastically jumps up to meet her. He tries to hug her but she stops while looking at TTK. He is happy about what she did but she tells him that he is the one that did everything. They talk and when she gets up to leave. She promises to come back some other time. She came to drop off some legal documents. TTK asks for the documents but Dan asks why? Kaneng passes the document to TTK who brings out the document and complains about the paper quality, syntax, spelling, etc. Kaneng tells her that there is nothing wrong with the document. She insists that it be corrected and Kaneng collects it back from her. As Kaneng leaves, TTK manages to stutter out some words saying that though she blames Kaneng for the mess Dan is in, she still thinks she did something to get him out. Kaneng asks if that is a thank you and smiles broadly at that.
Chuks is still complaining that Ene is ignoring his calls and texts. He notices that Soji is looking at the wall and asks what he is looking at? He does not want Bimpe to know that he is around. Chuks asks him to concentrate on the problem at hand. He asks Chuks to call Ene’s parents but Chuks is bothered that it will inform them of the problem and give them reason to say I told you. Chuks is no good.
Dannie wonders why Brenda wants her to stay and take care of her brother? Brenda tells her that is what she wants and she is willing to pay her to do so. She gets up to go and Brenda stands up in her face and tells to stop talking as she is not talking to Fred or Sheila. She is talking to a Mensah. She tells Dannie that since she claims to have such feelings for Kwame, she has to stay back and show it.

Sheila asks how Dan is doing? Dan says he is good. Fred comes down and asks if Sheila wants to go for a walk? Sheila goes into the kitchen. Fred tells Dan that he wants to talk about what he did in the morning. Dan says he has apologized and insists on being treated as an adult. Fred yells at him and they exchange yells till Sheila comes in and breaks it up. Fred bends down and cries.
Soji asks Chuks to call Ene’s brother. He tells her that the Okoyes are a close-knit family. They talk to each other a lot. He reminds Soji of when they called a family meeting for him. As they were talking, someone knocks on the door and Chuks screams Ene. Soji wonders if she does not have her own key? They open the door and Bimpe walks in. she wants sugar.
Sheila comes back with Fred’s drugs and wonders when he took the drugs. The pack is almost finished. Fred is surprised. Sheila normally gives him his drugs so he could not have taken them. Dan suggests that he may have taken it without knowing. Sheila suggests that they get a doctor to check Fred up. Dan thinks it is a good idea and gets up to go for a walk. Sheila and Fred wear a worried look.
Dannie comes to visit Kwame in Phillip’s house. He thought she has left. She says she has packed and tells him about the call from the school. She hopes he knows what he is doing. She can control it but she cannot guarantee the number of people that will see the footage of him. He wonders whether she thinks he could not do it because he is such a terrible person? She asks if his quietness is because he is having second thoughts? She tells him that the school sent her a mail while they were in Ghana together. He owns up that he deleted the email. They wanted her back in US but he does not want that. He is that kind of man who goes to everything to prevent his woman from doing what will take her away from him.

Fire Outbreak was reported to have occurred at Phillips Building, Ojota which is also home to Tinsel, Jara and Supersports Studios. Witnesses who were present during the outbreak stated that the fire started at Jara Studio and then spread to Supersports studio.
