Joanna Newsom, the queen of 2006.

2006 was an outstanding year for music. If you disagree then you’re not my friend anymore.

I have elected to share my list from that year rather than 2005 for two reasons: 1) A strange and inadvertent hibernation I experienced in 2005 within the caves of Malaysia. 2) My recent obsession with one-upping everyone around me coupled with a strengthening of my basic arithmetic skills (2005 + 1 = 2006).

If I could do this again, of course, it’d look a lot different. Alas, my decade list will serve as an opportunity to rearrange albums based on sustained listening of old favorites and discoveries of new (also based on the unearthing of a hidden track on “Stadium Arcadium” that makes it the greatest album of 2006, if not the 21st century… just kidding).

FORUM BEST PRACTISES Pendidikan DKI Jakarta

Hari Rabu, 25 Nopember 2009 diadakan forum BEST PRACTISES, yaitu sebuah forum bagi sekolah-sekolah (TK,SD, SMP, SMA dan SMK) di Jakarta dalam berbagi pengalaman (sharing) keberhasilan atau kebaikan. Baca Lengkap?
Perhelatan positif dan memberdayakan ini difasilitasi oleh LPMP (Lembaga Penjamin Mutu Pendidikan) Propinsi DKI Jakarta yang berlokasi di Jalan Nangka, Tanjung Barat, Jakarta Selatan.
Acara yang ditampilkan berupa full day seminar (seminar sehari penuh) yang dihadiri oleh guru yang ditunjuk, kepala sekolah dan Dinas Pendidikan. Di tiap sesi ditampilkan beberapa panelis yang menampilkan presentasi dari guru atau kepala sekolah tentang sesuatu yang baru dan nyata merupakan sebuah keberhasilan. Baik keberhasilan tentang sebuah inovasi pembelajaran, kurikulum, administrasi sekolah, manajemen sekolah dan lainnya. Intinya, segala hal yang merupakan keberhasilan dalam pendidikan di sekolah masing-masing.
Siapa yang akan tampil diberikan kesempatan secara terbuka, jika jumlahnya lebih dari yang diharapkan, maka akan diseleksi oleh LPMP.
Raut wajah beberapa peserta tampak berseri-seri karena merasa mendapatkan nilai lebih dari sharing kali ini, bahkan mungkin merasa bahwa kebaikan apa yang dipresentasikan sekolah lain yakin dapat juga diterapkan di sekolahnya.
Mudah-mudahan event ini semakin semarak di tahun-tahun berikutnya, yang berarti semakin semarak kebaikan yang didapat dan dibagi bersama yang lain. Demi dan atas nama pendidikan yang mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa, Insya Allah.

That title is so retarded, but I don’t really care.

Anyway, last year the Pens were 4-0-0 against Atlanta. Last year, I also would have said something along the lines of “who cares about Atlanta ’cause they’re garbage,” but they aren’t doing that bad this year.

Whatever. It’s November and we won. So suck it

No recap for this game. Just take in this win.
It’s the fourth win out of nine games. It’s like a breath of fresh air.

Martin Skoula deserves some praise. What a solid game from him (2G) and it’s the first time in his career that he’s had a two-goal night. We salute you, Skoula.

Flower was also on fire tonight. He struggled against the Sens, but talk about bouncing back.

He stopped 31 out of 33 shots and made some wicked saves.

OTHER STUFF

-Bourque missed another open net……TK and Kunitz better get back into this lineup soon for the love of God.

-This was Orpik’s first game back and he has already made a huge difference. Holy crap.

-Malk had another goal last night. What else is new?

-Matt Cooke got in a fight with Kovalchuck. His laughing in the penalty box was priceless.

-Max had a penalty shot. Max did not score on that penalty shot.

-The apparently non-existing slashing on Malkin was so pathetic.

- Colby Armstrong.

Can we just talk next game? I was too drunk to remember anything..

BUT, as I was browsing the internet, I found something I couldn’t keep to myself:

1. I just am so confused as to why “Just Let Me Be Myself” is playing.

2. How artistic, touching, emotional?…I got nothing. At least the caveman thinks you’re effortless and natural!

3. And while we’re on the subject of the highly esteemed Washington Capitals, leave it to Ted to clear up why his team is doing so bad — Injuries, of course.

“We lost by one goal. We lost yet another player to injury.

Last year, we were fourth in man games lost to injury. We are giving it a good run again this season to be a leader in man games lost.

Tom Poti was hurt in the first period. Hence we didn’t have Poti, Jurcina and Morrisonn on D in the lineup. We didn’t have Semin, Knuble, Gordon, Laing and Nylander in the lineup front. We didn’t have Theodore either in goal. That is goofy, huh? $25 million in payroll NOT playing.

We still could have won that game but missing this many players does scramble the game plan and the rhythm of the team. No one feels sorry for us. We can’t use injuries as an excuse. We just have to tough it out.”

This is hard for me to grasp. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to play with so many players injured.

Akhirnya sudah 2 tahun lebih saya tinggal di gubug reot milik sendiri…hmmm…enaknya punya gubug sendiri..mo berantakan juga ga masalah..gak ada yang ngomelin hehe.

Sudah 2 minggu terakhir ini gubug saya penuh dengan pernak-pernik maenan anak, gambar-gambar kartun binatang, buah, sayuran dan macem-macem yang berbau anak-anak..padahal sama sekali belum ada anak kecil di gubug saya. Sudah 2 minggu ini saya menemani istri saya menyiapkan bahan-bahan praktek lapangnya, ya..bulan ini istri saya sudah masuk masa praktek kerja lapang untuk jadi guru TK (cita-cita yang menurut saya sangat mulia)..beberapa hal sangat mengasyikan saya bisa mengasah kemampuan desain saya walaupun cuma desain lembar kerja anak hehe…tapi cukup mengasyikan juga..yang repot hanya masalah waktu yang benar-benar mepet..bahan untuk besok harus disiapkan malam ini juga…belum lagi istri saya sangat mudah masuk angin jadi siap-siap mint akerok deh hehe…

anyway…segala sesuatu ada hikmahnya..biar repot tapi tetap mengasyikan, saya jadi lebih mengetahui bermacam model pendidikan dan pelajaran bagi anak saya kelak…amiin…

Stage 01: Armor Crafting

Finally started to set up my Drossel armor .. meh, its not a Drossel armor, but a Stormtrooper (TK AP Armor). Starting with the legs first. All i can say is .. “Know thy Dremel tool” .. pretty nifty tool to have!! The dremel is a powerful and deadly tool, and i dont want any of my kawaii nendos to be near it when random shrapnel flies all over the place!

Whew! After proper cutting with a steady hand and a dremel cutting tool .. shinny leg armor!!

The Stormtrooper armor is as shinny as Ojou-sama!! Bottom leg armor completed. Working on thigh armor and hopefully arms tomorrow too!!

Mission Criteria: Prepare a troop-worthy armor for a Malaysian convention on Dec 19th/20th, 2009 @ Sunway Pyramid. Trying to make Xmas a little shinny whiter than usual!
