SC 100 top Chinese beauty Ayi Jihu release hot new single - Smak Dat!

The rise and rise of SC top 100 beautiful women Ayi Jihu continues with a vengeance as she releases her new single ‘Smak Dat’ on the world.

Ayi Jihu is not content to just release her video and single unlike many other artist she has thrown out dozens of unused scenes taken from the video something which has delighted her millions of fans no end. The video was shot on location in London and parts of Cambridge and Ayi admits they took some risks in shooting the video

Ayi Says: Maybe what I do is not that risky to a Western audience they are used to the likes of Beyonce and Madonna, but for a Chinese artist to do what I do is definitely risky, you only have to look at their videos to see what I mean.

We checked out the video and the first question we asked her was how she got away shooting the subway scenes or did they take over the London Underground?

No, She replied. It may look that way but we I am not Madonna and I don’t think they would clear the London underground just for me. When we were planning the shoot we had the option of using parts of the underground that are dis-used but the director did not want to go with that option. The whole point of the underground scene was to show me being very provocative and fearless by wearing next to nothing. It was a bit scary I have to admit but only for a minute or so. After that I just say to myself to hell with it and get on with the job. We had so many people staring, especially the fella’s but the good thing was that many ladies where clapping and saying go on girl as they saw me dance around and do my thing on the train. Everyone was very cool and helpful and it was great fun and a very powerful feeling. I think by the end of the day I got a bit carried away. I was dancing so much i did not see my dress riding up and up and up. As Stevie Eagle puts it, The end justifies the means, and the end result was better than we expected.

Ayi Jihu says the decision to release out takes from the video was due to fan demand. I have a very large and loyal fanbase who are used to my videos. The whole ethos of Shlepp is to be as real and rugged as possible and so we decided to let loads of scenes out to keep the fans happy. The whole theme behind the song and the video is freedom to be what and who you want regardless of what people say. I get my fare share of haters but I have learnt to let what they say go through one ear and come out the other. I would not be telling the truth if I said nothing effects me, as it does, but my skin is getting harder and I realize that these people have their own agenda and it usually is not about your general well being. To be honest though I am blessed because I get very little negativity from people.

We asked Ayi how she thought the video would go down in China? I think it will go down well amongst the younger newer generation of Chinese. I feel some of the older generation might hold their noses up a bit, but then it is Rock n Roll so if that didn’t happen I would be doing something wrong. I am not like any other Chinese artist out there. I am not a girly girl, teddy hugging, flower smelling skinny perfect little madam so I know the Chinese will find some of what I do hard to swallow. I am used to that. When I performed at the Sands Casino in Macau at first no one clapped they just stared with their jaws down by their knees. I remember coming of the stage and talking to Stevie saying ‘They hate it’. He just said keep doing what you are doing there is nothing to hate, they love it, they just don’t know how to take it, it’s all new to them because they have never seen a Chinese artist like you. He was so right, because soon after that when I was walking in the streets of Macau so many people would come up to me telling me how much they loved the show. They would do my dance moves (or try to) and word just started spreading and spreading.

We also asked Ayi Jihu why there was no other person in the video?

That was all Stevie Eagle E’s idea. He was adamant that I hold it down on my own, at least thats how he puts it. When you are starting out you can flim flam people with loads of dancers, technology and other tricks. Stevie does not play that at all. He wants to see the artist doing it on their own. ‘You should be able to rock it in the subway’ he keeps saying. If you can rock it there you can rock it anywhere. So for this video at least I did not get any of the extra’s no dancers, fancy lighting, or gimmicks. It’s just me in front of the Camera doing my thing raw and sexy the Ayi Jihu way.

Finally we asked her what her overall thoughts were about the finished video and what she expected it to do?

Overall I’m very happy with the video. If I were not it would not be out there! I wanted a video that displayed my many faces and sides and that showed I’m fearless and up for the challenge. I also wanted a video that told the world that I’m not to be played with. I’m beautiful, sexy but I aint stupid and weak I love my new image in the video and loads of credit goes to Raniya Mohammed for helping me look so great. She is a wonderful stylist and make-up artist. I expect both the song and the video to raise awareness of Ayi Jihu and get people checking me out and talking. I also hope that the video inspires others especially my Chinese ladies to come out and be themselves a bit more. It’s only the start of what I know is a long journey and maybe if you ask me in several months I wont like it so much, but right now I love, my fans love it and my mum loves it so I’m happy. It’s simple, raw and to the point and it shows me as I am.

One of the worlds most beautiful women Ayi Jihu tells us how she manages to keep herself in great shape. Recently being voted one of the top 100 most beautiful women on the planet has put even more stress on the Chinese star to make sure she is always looking good and at her best. We asked her how she kept in shape.

The whole concept behind my workout is not to look skinny but to look fit and keep my curves. To be honest there is no special food, or new workout that I really do but there are several common sense things which I must do to stay in shape. If I did have some kind of secret formula or technique it would be dancing! I have a particular style of dance, some call it dancehall, some call it belly dancing. The key to this kind of dancing is amazing lower body strength and technique. It’s not aerobics It’s more bump and grind meets belly dance. The great thing about it is it allows you to build up your strength, stamina without loosing your curves. I love dancing. When I go out I go out to dance more than anything else. I’m not one of those girls who waits for the dancefloor to be filled with people before I start dancing either. The moment I hear good music thats it i’m dancing. So my first tip to ladies is go out there and have a good time dance in clubs at home anywhere you can, just have fun without even thinking exercise.

I recently became brand ambassador for YogaWorld in Macau. YogaWorld is not just about Yoga they have many great classes and its only for women. They do Belly Dance, Yoga, Pilates, and so many other innovative classes. They also do belly dancing classes which I really love. For the way I dance and move it’s one of the most important classes I do and it’s really taking of in Asia. It’s funny to see all these very skinny Asian women doing belly dance because we are so used to seeing women with curves and a bit of a belly doing belly dance. It shows that there are no boundaries anyone can do anything and belly dance is a great way to stay fit. When I am performing on stage I use belly dance in my opening intro sometimes. I fuse belly dance with Hip Hop, Ragga and R&B and it seems to drive people crazy. It’s such a wonderful form of dance, you feel so sexy and powerful when you are belly dancing, you know exactly what you are doing to the people watching.

I get up every morning and run a few miles. This was hard for me to get into the habbit of doing but I had to learn to do it. Nothing beats running for keeping you fit. I do it first thing, because if I think about it too long I end up finding an excuse not to do it. So my advice is get up have a quick shower and get out there and power walk or run every day first thing in the morning.

One of my favorite exercises is lunging. I do it several times a day all through the day. I love a good bum especially on a woman and if you want to keep your bum perky and shapely lunging is one of the best things to do. I grab a couple of weights or bottles of water if you don’t have any weights and I take long steps forward pushing back to my original position. It’s a great excercise.

I’m a big fan of box fit which I also do. I have a great personal trainer although he’s in Macau right now and I miss him, he’s great! Box Fit is a great way to boost your confidence also. Being a woman these days is not always easy especially if you are very beautiful, men can be quite rude and touchy. I find doing martial arts and box fit help me mentally as well as physically to feel more confident in general.

Box fit is great for your reflexes and the fact that you get to scream and shout and let it all out while doing it is great. I love it and do it at least 3 times a week. I get real sweaty, I let all my frustrations out and get to smack the hell out of my trainer.

Chinese Star and model Ayi Jihu made history on when she became the first Chinese artist to perform at the London Week of Peace live concert in London’s Trafalgar Square. The LONDON WEEK OF PEACE (LWOP) is an annual week of high profile events, initiatives and action organised principally by communities and individuals but also engaging organisations, businesses and public agencies, to promote greater community cohesion, safety and peace across the capital. It will take place from the 20th – 27th of September 2009. Ending with a live concert that is broadcast all around the world featuring some of the worlds top artists.

Ayi Jihu made history when she was the first Chinese artist to be asked to perform as the LWOP recognized the growing impact the Chinese community has had in the great city of london and where looking to bring the usually closed Chinese London community into the celebrations.

Ayi Jihu represented all the Asian nations and crowned the historic event with a spectacular show that was broadcast worldwide to an audience of Millions. Ayi Jihu put on a multi-cultural show with kids of all ages from all over the world. She was also joined by Stevie Eagle E, Chinese opera singer Zane Zoo, Filipino Rapper Concept, Ghanian Rapper Fugitive and the Hypnotick Dance company. Ayi Jihu’s show more than any other captured the diverse nature of London’s many communities and highlighted that everyone can come together in peace in the great City.

Speaking about the show Ayi Jihu said she was honored and proud to be the first person to represent the Asian community at this event and hoped it would open the door to more Chinese and Asian performers being invited to high profile events in one of the worlds greatest cities.

I spoke to my team about the type of show I wanted to put on. I did not want to do something like everyone else, just go up there and sing a song. I wanted to give the people a show, and I wanted the show to be something that expressed all the different vibes, faces and cultures of London including Chinese. Stevie Eagle E loved my ideas and wanted to fuse different types of music together in one performance to make the most of my idea. So we came up with a show that had Rap, R&B, dance and opera in it. We had kids from all over the world over 10 countries performing in our set from white to black, girls and boys. We had street dance, contemporary dance, acrobatics and even ballet and we somehow fused it all together to create our show. It was a truly amazing experience and everyone enjoyed it. I think the best part was seeing the kids faces as they came of the stage and talking to them afterwards. I knew I was responsible for giving them an experience they would remember for the rest of their lives and it felt great.

I chose the track Winner – No Fear to perform because of the lyrics and what the song means. I wanted to perform something that was inspiring to the kids performing it and also to the audience and Winner – No Fear means a lot to me. It’s all about fighting our fears and lets face it, most violent crime in the streets is all about fear, Race hate and homophobia is about fear and ignorance. What people don’t understand they are afraid of and what they are afraid of they usually try to destroy, disrupt or at least ignore.

Everything in the show went almost perfect. I nearly fell over, I tripped on some cable on the stage. I’m not sure if anyone noticed, but every time I watch the video I see it and it makes me cringe. Other than that it was almost perfect.

Model Daul Kim has been found dead in her Paris apartment. The asian model had modeled clothes for the biggest names in the world such as Chanel, Dries van Noten and Maison Martin Margiela. Officials are yet to reveal the cause of death, and Kim’s agency & her family are off to collect her body from Paris. However local media in Korea have sparked rumours that the beautiful asian model may well have committed suicide!  The beautiful model recently wrote on her online blog claiming that she was “mad depressed and overworked”. In another entry she said “the more i gain the more lonely it is … i know i’m like a ghost.” Be sure to keep checking back right here at my blog to keep updated on the death of the beautiful model. All I can say right now is rest in peace Daul Kim.

记得我以前有个男朋友做给我吃过他最拿手的泰国绿咖喱，简直就是我尝过最好吃的绿咖喱！当我说最好我一点都不夸张！之后我去过的任何泰国餐馆都没有尝到比他做的更好的，后悔当初没有好好跟他学学，因为我很喜欢泰国餐，跟川菜一样都是辣！

我记得我叫他给我绿咖喱的食谱，他用电子邮件发给我，但那时在几年前了！我没有期望太多可以再找到那封邮件，但是我搜索我邮箱里居然找到那个食谱！这个年代科学发达，什么都先进！我相信有信心就可以实现！我们常常在生活中找借口，事实是我们真正想要得到的我们会想方设法去实现。

这是我的第一次做绿咖喱，有点紧张，因为我弟弟也会吃！我每次做饭都希望吃的人会喜欢（我相信每个做饭的人都会这样说）自从我开始去世界各地演出，我开始为身边的人做菜，尝试各种不同的口味，有时候连我自己都惊奇我自己，呵呵。我身边的人也感到惊讶，因为他们觉得像我这样的人不会进厨房！我常常说不要以貌取人，人不可貌相！我其实很喜欢做菜！

一步一步的，我展出了我的第一个泰国绿咖喱，比我想象的简单，也很快就做好了！闻起来很香，我迫不及待的尝了一下，挺辣的！（就是我喜欢的）我觉得对第一次来说很成功。我弟弟也非常喜欢，当然了我非常开心！多数喜欢做菜的人都会告诉你我们更喜欢看到吃的人满足多过我们自己吃！

所以我非常想做一些烹调视频博克，不是随便的任何餐，而是真正的川菜！我非常想与大家分享我们每天日常可口的川菜，世界各地任何地方！希望你们看了后有空自己试试，因为都很简单，说不定还给你看一些秘密武器，呵呵。所以你们注意看啊！我等不及有一天所有的人都变成辣椒王！ 哈哈！

I remember one of my ex boyfriends made the best Thai green curry ever! When I say the best I mean THE BEST! Ever since then I have not tasted a Thai green curry as good as his.   I remembered watching him cooking it but how silly was I not to concentrate more and really learn that dish as Thai cuisine has always been one of my favourites.

I asked him to give me the recipe, he sent it to my email, but that was years and years ago! I really didn’t hold out much hope of finding that email, but I dug into my inbox and actually managed to find it!!!  Where there’s a will there’s a way!  We always find excuses for not being able to do something but the truth is if we really want something we’ll find a way to make it happen!

So for the very first time, I prepared to cook Thai green curry.  I was a little bit nervous because I was cooking for my brother as well!  I always want my food to taste good (who doesn’t!) Since I’ve been travelling a lot I have managed to try different dishes and cook for others.   People always seem to find this a big surprise; they think a girl like me does not go into the kitchen! Well, don’t judge a book by its cover, you’ll be surprised, I actually love cooking!

So step by step, I cooked my first Thai green curry, it was easier than I thought and pretty quick.  The smell was great so I was eager to taste it.  It was pretty spicy (just how I like it) and I thought it was pretty good for my first effort. My brother thankfully loved it also, which made me very happy!  Anyone who loves cooking can tell you that we get happier  watching others enjoying our food.

So I have decided to do some videos about cooking in the future, not any type of cooking, real Sichuan cooking, I’d love to share the amazing Sichuan food we eat everyday to people all over the world, I wanna show you the real deal, and hopefully  you can watch and try it yourselves at home! There are some very easy and quick to make meals also and I might let a few secret ingredients out.  Watch out for that.   I can’t wait for the day that everyone becomes immune to chilli! LOL

生日晚餐结束了后，我打了个电话给我朋友Richard，他以前有时候指导我打斯诺克，他自己本身就是一个非常好的斯诺克选手，现在主打小台球，也常常到世界各地参加比赛。希望有一天我们都有实践，然后他可以认真地教我打斯诺克！

因为他在这个圈子内，我猜测他应该知道关于斯诺克的一切！至少在剑桥！我想他可以联系上Tony 和Neil 来与我见个面。他在电话上对我说Tony在剑桥只呆到第二天晚上，所以第二天Richard先去跟他们见面告诉他们我即将到。我准备好了开车去斯诺克俱乐部，当我在上楼梯的时候，我突然间有点兴奋，我看到Tony和Neil在俱乐部角落的球桌上练习， 我走过去Richard介绍了我，我祝贺了Neil刚赢得斯诺克锦标赛冠军，与他们握了手之后让他们继续他们的练习。太爽了站在他们旁边看现场的球赛，呵呵！好像在电视上看到的一样！如果你有在电视上看斯诺克球赛你就会明白我的意思，他们让斯诺克看起来是那么容易的游戏，随便的一杆就是我打到的最多分数！其实真正去试是那么的难！

他们练习完之后，我们坐下来好好聊天。Neil比较害羞，但非常好人，常常以笑脸待人。Tony是个很放松的人，非常搞笑，让我一直笑不停，如果你听过我的笑声你会觉得我可能吓到了他们！但他还说我的笑声自然，是属于我自己的！呵呵。他们两个都在这个斯诺克圈子里很久，特别是Tony，你一眼就看得出来他很专业，他知道他在说什么，他们的行业与我的很相像。他告诉我，在每次开赛前他都会紧张，那么多人在等待，在观看，那种压力真的可以让你受不了！那么多年的经验，那种感觉还是挥不去，但是他知道怎么去制服那种压力，然后进入并发挥自己的最佳状态！那是需要多年来不断的练习，经验和所犯的错误！

每当我跟这类人聊天我都会学到很多，也意识到不只是我会有那种感觉。很多很成功的艺人，运动员在众人面前是那么的自信，没有恐惧 。但其实我们都是一样的，我们都有自己心中的恐惧和害怕而且每天都会有，是那些不逃避，勇敢的每天去面对自己的心魔的人将会向前进，掌握自己的生命，实现自己最大的梦想！我们加油吧！面对心魔不是那么容易的，一旦做到你会开开心心的现实的去做自己！

晚餐后我们走去停车场，发现我们两部车上都有罚单！！！心情马上跌落悬崖！！ 怪自己！

因为我们在停车的时候，我弟弟确定的说要付钱停车的时间已超过，不用付钱买停车单，但其实不是！他认为已经7点之后，但我们停车的时候还差15分钟，只是15分钟而已！如果付钱停车之需要几分钱。我根本都没有看，因为我相信我弟弟，平时这些事我都会看得非常清楚！我继父和哥哥都有看，但是居然都没有看清时间！所以我们每个人都觉得没事，但到头来就惨了！！！

我一直在责怪自己，这是完全可以避免的错误！ 我一直问自己干嘛不看，干吗要听信别人，我没有相信自己的感觉，现在后果自负！（真正的付）！太傻了，我的心情一下受影响。当我坐在车里，我发现我学到一堂我已经知道的课！可以自己搞定的事就要亲自去做，可以避免很多不必要的麻烦。我突然间觉得为什么要让这件小事影响我的心情，整晚总的来说非常开心，能与对我来说最重要的人一起共度晚餐，看到我的斯诺克英雄，我不能让这两张罚单毁了我的夜晚！

生活中比罚单重要的事太多了，我当然可以理解这些小事可以让人多么烦恼！但是这些事会发生，将来也会，最好的方法就是从中学习然后继续生活！我知道是多么容易说出来，但如果你真的试着去做，你会发现你给自己减轻了多少压力和负担！我把罚单放入口袋，忘记这件事，直到要付钱的时候！哈哈！

不要让小事阻止我们！不要把生活看得太重，以微笑来面对，为大事准备！

今年我不仅与朋友过了一个美好的生日派对，我亲爱的家人还带我出去吃了一顿生日晚餐！

我父母在Grantham经营一个中餐馆，叫明月庄，所以他们常常在那边，每个礼拜都会开车回剑桥与我们共度几晚。那天我的哥哥（继父的儿子）正好不用上班，很少我们有机会可以6个人团聚，所以我们利用这个机会一起出去共进晚餐。我们选了一个中餐馆，因为这家刚开不久，听朋友们说这家餐馆很不错，所以我们决定去试一试！可笑的是，在剑桥有那么多学生，却没有一家我觉得是正中的中餐馆！等时机到了我希望我父母可以开一个正中的四川餐馆！让大家在外也可以吃到我们四川特产!

这家其实是香港餐馆，装饰是典型的香港茶餐厅，在伦敦唐人街有很多但是剑桥还是第一家。惊奇的是我看到我一个朋友在那边，原来这是他开的！我们坐下来点了餐，边聊天边等的时候，一群人走了进来，其中一个特别像那个澳大利亚的斯诺克选手Neil Robertson，他带了帽子遮住了他的金黄头发，让人不容易认出他。我注意到了跟他来得几个人当中有个是Tony Drago，他是世界最好的台球手之一！他的名气在于‘快’，是个天生的台球手，也保持着世界最快的100分斯诺克球手纪录！Neil 是个比较年轻的斯诺克球手，常常出现在大型的斯诺克竞赛中，一个月前他刚赢得斯诺克锦标赛冠军，在决赛中打败了我们中国的丁俊辉。我知道Neil住在剑桥，也常常在剑桥WT’s 斯诺克俱乐部练球，所以我肯定那个就是他，因为那俱乐部就在餐馆附近。

如果你还不知道的话，我是个斯诺克迷，我以前从16岁开始每天放学之后都会去打台球，刚开始只是好奇，还有那个斯诺克俱乐部是我们学生的聚会点。没想到我越来越喜欢上斯诺克，就开始认真地打台球。虽然我现在没有空去练习我的球技，我对斯诺克的酷爱没有淡，我希望有一天我可以参与斯诺克比赛，带动更多的女士们来参与！

Shooting the video for Thank You was great fun. I wanted to do something a little different as Thank you is the song that I am leading with in China. We shot the video in Cambridge if you look carefully you will see some of the famous landmarks of Cambridge in the video. It was a beautiful autumn day which worked well for the general feel of the video.

The song is about me saying Thank you, no secret there I guess. I dedicate it to my Father who died when I was very young, and others including my mother and friends who have helped me throughout my life at difficult times. My father was a very tough man, very strict and in some ways it may seem funny for me to dedicate this song to him, because if he were still alive I am not sure I would be doing this. However he was one of the few people in my life that was strong enough to really push me and motivate me to do the things I needed to do.

I Love this song the vibe and feel of it. When we were putting it together in the studio we talked about giving it a nice sing a long soul vibe. What I also love about this song is it teaches Westerners a really cool Chinese word Thank you, and it teaches the Chinese the same thing in English. Thank You is a cool word in English and Mandarin.

On Sunday I shot a show reel for my track I’m a Winner no fear at a bar called Nusha in Cambridge. As I performed the track over and over again many feelings began to flood into my head and heart. Winner has always been very close to my heart as a song. A lot of people get it wrong because they don’t really listen to the words, and even if they do they still don’t always get it. Some however do. ‘I’m a winner – no fear’ is all about fighting the demons within oneself, fighting our fears. watch the video in high def here.

Signing my recording contract with Shlepp Records was like a dream come true, for about a week, and then I was hit by fear. Fear of what people would say, if people would like me, if I could do it, it was like I had everything I ever wanted and then I did not want it any more. At the time I did not quite understand why I was feeling the way I felt, it took Stevie talking to me to help me understand that I was in fact gripped by fear.

Since then I have began to understand more how fear has held me back in so many ways throughout my life and how my ability to fight my fears, conquer them has helped me to move forward. In fact every day I wake up I have to do it all over again, and the further I get it seems the more pressure and hence the more fear tries to creep into my life once again.

Therefore singing winner for me is like a battle chant, a reminder to myself of where I am and what I have to keep doing, as well as my way of helping others see that they too can be winners by fighting their inner self.

So often we like to blame it on external stuff. What others say, what others think, What is written, said and unsaid, but I have learnt that the real thing holding me back was myself. Watching someone like Stevie Eagle E in life has been a great inspiration to me. He seems on the face of it to have no fear of anything, and if you listen to his rap in the song that’s what he says. But if you speak to him he will tell you it in a different way. He said to me; It’s not that I don’t truly have fear of things like everyone else. I just have a greater fear of control. I am more afraid of my own fears controlling me than I am of the fear itself. As he puts it some fears are good for you, healthy.

The other thing that winner means to me is ‘Don’t care’ That is another thing I have learnt from Stevie. At the end of the day, whatever life throws at him he just does not seem to care. I don’t mean he is not a caring person. I mean he does not let every little thing affect him all the time, he can as he puts it, ‘write it off’.

Anyway, what does all of this have to do with inspire a billion people?
Things for me have began to really pick up steam. My video ‘Smak Dat’ has been a great success as is the track. Being voted into the SC 100 most beautiful women was a bit of a shock but that and a lot of things have made me more conscious of just how many people I am able to reach and therefore what a great responsibility I have.

I want to inspire my people. Especially the younger generation. I want them to know there is nothing they cannot achieve. However it’s not just about my people it’s about all people. Sometimes I forget just how many people worldwide I am able to reach and how many people are watching what I do. When I do think about it that old fear comes back and I have to fight the impulse to run away and hide somewhere in the dark.

时间飞速，去年这个时候我还在澳门，刚开始我的澳门/香港旅程，太多不可思议的事情发生，极小的资源却成就了不少，感觉就像发生在昨天！有的人没有太多变化，我绝对不是跟去年一样，希望今天的我是一个更好，更加明智的人！当然还有更多要去学的，将来也会有很多不同的事会发生，没有人可以预料，所以要享受此时此刻。

去年我得到人生第一次的惊奇生日聚会，Stevie 与一些澳门朋友帮我准备的，他们给我带来了惊喜，特别是没有与家人在一起的时候。可惜的是，生活就是这样的出乎意料有的人离开了，新的人到来了，但是到头来却是一件好事，即使当时可能看不到好的一面！今年这个时候我在英国，回到家人和朋友身边，但不知为何却没有什么心情要特别凑办一个生日聚会，可能是年纪越大，生日的到来也没有那么兴奋了，收到的礼物也越来越少！哈哈哈！也许这就是我对生日的到来没有以前那么的期盼了，呵呵。不管怎么说，也可以利用这天来与好朋友团聚，好好的放松一天！

有很多不同的夜总会给我很多不同的提供，但没有一样让我觉得兴奋，直到我朋友介绍了Mango Lounge 给我！ 这间酒吧在伦敦的Earls court，远离伦敦中心的闹区。这家精美舒适的酒吧有许许多多的鸡尾酒选择，楼下有个舞池，DJ还有一个小酒吧。这个地方对我来说太完美了！可以与朋友们好好聊天的同时还可以慢慢享受好听的音乐与不同选择的鸡尾酒！他们的经理 Olly 简直就是个大好人，Stevie 在跟他联系的时候，他给了我一个非常好的交易。我邀请了我很好的几个朋友还有一直支持我的几个歌迷，他们很多都不住在伦敦，从伦敦外的城市来跟我庆祝。

真是美好的一晚！我一走进门我就爱上这个地方，这里的气氛和感觉，还有工作人员都非常友好有帮助！有几个朋友已经到达，像往常一样我们开始拍摄我生日的录像博克，拍了很多照，喝着鸡尾酒和我美丽的朋友们开怀畅谈， 慢慢的朋友们都到齐了，有一些是我没有预料到要来的，我非常开心他们来了，多大的惊喜啊！我脸上的笑容怎么都摸不去！我们觉得是时候到楼下去跳舞了，我们全部转移到楼下，没有一个人坐下来全部都在舞池中狂欢！当然了生日一定要让DJ放一首专门给我的歌，我的当然是 ‘Birthday Sex’，我都有采取那首歌在我最近的演出时用！所有的朋友开始有点微醉了，特别是我！因为我太开心太兴奋了让我觉得更醉！那晚我放开了自己，觉得很久没有好好放松了，感觉真好，而且我知道Stevie会照顾我，呵呵，所以我可以放开！

那晚每个人脸上都带着笑容，第二天醒来还有点醉意但脑海里一直回忆着前晚的情景。我感谢所有抽出时间来给我庆祝生日的朋友们，让我过了一个完美的夜晚！当然了所有在Mango Lounge 的工作人员，我一定会再回来！ 还有我生命中很重要的人物Stevie Eagle E！他每天为了我们的目标辛苦的工作，常常照顾我还是我生活的老师！我们会成功的，这是我们新一年的开始！

Em nosso encontro, Kátia disse estar adorando a segunda vinda a Bagé, após a estréia na coleção de inverno. Qualificou como “lindas” as peças locais. “Entre os eventos em que desfilo, percebo que o Moda Bagé está crescendo a cada edição”, confidenciou.

Time sure flies, last year this time I was in Macau, starting my Macau/HK journey, can’t believe so much has happened.  So much has been achieved,  We have worked so very hard and sacrificed so very much and it feels like it was yesterday! Some people stayed the same, I’m definately not the same person I was a year ago. A better a wiser person I hope. The crazy thing about learning is the more you know the more you know you don’t know and the therefore the more you want to learn.  Lot’s will happen in the future, you never know, so enjoy the moment while you can is one of my new mottos!

I had my first surprise party last year, Stevie organised that with some friends in Macau.  They made it a wonderful day for me especially being away from family.  Sadly like life, things happen and people come and go and some of the people at that party are no longer in my circle of friends, but it turned out to be for the better! This year I returned to England, with family and friends. The older you get, the less excited you feel about birthdays, and the less presents you receive, I decided therefore to have a more intimate party with my close friends.

I had several offers from different clubs and promoter to host my birthday with them.  However one thing I have definitely learnt from Stevie is if you going to do something do it right, and none of the offers came up to scratch.  I may not be Mariah, but if you are gonna throw me a public party I have Mariah expectations and therefore if those cannot be met I was better off keeping it real, cozy and away from the public eye as much as possible. I was eventually contacted by a wonderful man called Ollie owner of a place called; Mango Lounge! It’s at Earls court, away from the West End, avoiding the busy city area, it’s a beautiful intimate lounge with an amazing selection of cocktails! Downstairs they have a dance floor with DJ and a small bar. This place seemed perfect! I could have conversations with my friends as well as enjoying the music, most importantly I could let my hair down a bit, something which I can never do when I go out as Ayi Jihu these days! The manager Ollie was just amazing.  So I invited those people who I love to spend time with and those people who have supported me, they came from all over the place, Essex, Cambridge etc…

It was amazing! As soon as I walked through the door I loved it, the vibe, the place.  The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, Bethany you rock girl and Ollie you are the best!  It was great to see my friends, some of which I had not seen for many years, I couldn’t stop smiling! Catching up with everyone was amazing, and I would like to thank everyone for their amazing gifts.  I spent a few hours just catching up and sipping cocktails and then we all went down to dance and have some fun. Everyone was getting merry, especially me I think I was just so happy and excited which made me even more tipsy than I actually was! I let myself go that night and it was great, it’s been a while and I could do so safely knowing not only Stevie but my close friends would watch over me if I had one too many.

The night ended with happy smiles,  To be honest I think I was a little out of it.  I had a wonderful time, dance loads, talked loads, and yes drank loads too, next day I woke up with a hint of hangover and constantly reminiscing about the great night I had! Thanks to all my friends who joined me! I want to say a big thank you to Mango Lounge and all their staff too, I’m sure I will be back! Most importantly perhaps  Stevie Eagle E! when he’s with you, you have no worries.

Well another day another dollar so the saying goes.  I am sure this next year will be even more exciting than the last.

I came across this article online and I wanted to share the main points of it with you all but I wondered how it would fit in with my general blog themes of film, food, faith, etc. It’s about things you can do to have a more professional looking, photogenic picture of yourself taken every time…..we could all use a few useful tips, right? I know I have a few pictures of myself that I can’t bring myself to destroy but I would gladly pay the ransom fee if they fell into the wrong hands….besides years ago they did refer to films/movies as the pictures so there is some correlation.

Tips for Having a Better Photo of Yourself Taken (As demonstrated by these famous fashionistas)

1. Focus your eyes – just slightly above the camera lens, move your face forward a bit, and tip down your chin.  Fashion designer diva Diane Von Furstenberg seems to have the technique down.

2. Put your tongue behind your teeth and smile – it will relax your face.  Professional fashion models Naomi Campbell and Tyson Beckford looks very relaxed in their picture and so does Victoria’s Secret model Gisèle Bündchen.

3. Keep your arms by your side – but not glued there. To look natural, they should be a little away from your body or in the case of Vogue magazine fashion editor-at-large, Andre Leon Tally; you can keep your arms crossed in a comfortable pose.

4. Test-drive clothing against a white wall – with an indirect, natural light source (under a tree, indoors near a window)—it will show which color really suits you the best.

5.  As a rule, avoid patterns – a solid monochromatic color says it best, as is the case with this top Calvin Klein male model.      

 6. Photos exaggerate everything – women, go easy on the makeup.

7. Practice the classic model pose – turn your body three quarters of the way toward the camera, with one foot in front of the other and one shoulder closer to the photographer. When you face forward, your body tends to look wider.  I think former Calvin Klein model turned actress Brooke Shields has this pose down.

8. For standing photos – belly in, buttocks tight, shoulders back, spine straight.  Fashion designer icons Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren (with his wife Ricki), look lovely in their photo-opt.

9. Study photogenic people – as well as photos in which you think you looked best. Look at your best angle. You’ll probably see that you were laughing or having a good time. Capturing someone when they’re relaxed or most animated usually makes for the best results.

10. To feel at ease – try closing your eyes, then opening them slowly just before the photo is taken.

My Video launch today was an amazing success, thank you to all of you that took the time to watch it and write your comments. It’s fantastic to know that people love what you do.

Now that the video is finally out, I’m going on the road to perform and promote my new single Smak Dat and my first show is on this Monday at Sounds in Piccaddilly Circus London.

Im looking forward to this gig because it’s my first gig in London for a long time and i know everyone will be watching. Plus it’s the first time that I will perform Smak Dat and I have been rehearsing for that for a long time.

This is going to be a real hot and sexy show. Well that is just my style.
