Happy Thanksgerie!!!!!!

Thanksgerie is the most wonderful time of the year for you to celebrate all the things your lady has done for you over the past year.

Thanksgerie started 3 years ago when Diabla and I discovered we weren’t going home for Thanksgiving. She was not about to miss out on her favorite holiday, which was the only holiday centered around eating yourself silly. She decided that she’d cook all of Thanksgiving dinner, and to thank her for her hard work I bought her sexy time clothes.

And you know what? The shit works. I know what you’re thinking, “Toph, you’re telling me that after spending the whole day cooking and slaving away that she’s going to be ready to jump into bed and rock your bones? And, how is this a gift for her??”

Dude!! 1. Stop being gay. 2. It’s all about getting into the mentality of the ladies. She has had so much to eat, and the fact that you want get her off before the tryptophan hits is fucking sweet. She loves it.

I’m sure by now you’re wondering why there hasn’t been a skillet of the week, and I don’t blame you. However, there are more important things going on this week. Everything that you’ve been expecting is finally true. Soon enough tophspeaks.wordpress.com will turn into tophspeaks.com. Yes, as of last night I am the owner of Tophspeaks.com. This is a big deal for me and my readers as we have finally cemented ourselves in the blogosphere. Currently, everything is now under production and construction, but I will reemerge soon as Tophspeaks.com. I, of course, will keep you alert to all of the goings-on. As you can see HERE, I have a pretty kick ass designer putting it all together. Hopefully, if Ray has enough time on his hands, we’ll be up and running smoothly this week. Models are people too. I have to remind myself of that every time one of the VS models pops onto Skillet of the Week. This week is no exception, either, because Miranda Kerr is a person. A hot person. Plus she does not say, Thurdeen, and that’s important for an Australian.

Miranda is an Aussie that has been modeling since 13. She’s been growing on me for some time now, and I thought today was good opportunity to unleash her to the masses (of 7 people). Let’s consult the Wiki for more riveting details on her life, shall we?

Kerr was born in Sydney, Australia, and raised in the small rural country town of Gunnedah, which has a population of 8000. She is of an Iranian (Persian), Filipino and Turkish ethnic background.[citation needed] She is the eldest child of Therese and John Kerr, and has a younger brother named Matthew. She was educated at St Mary’s college in Gunnedah and All Hallows’ School, in Brisbane. At the age of 13, Kerr won Australian teenage magazine Dolly’s annual model search competition and signed a modelling contract with Melbourne’s Chadwick agency, followed by Sydney’s Chic agency. Kerr modelled part-time while she was studying, and as her profile increased, local media used her youth as an opportunity to debate about pedophilia in the fashion industry.

(Toph’s note: I’ve been away to my bachelor weekend to past few days. I’m debating on writing a story about it. I’m just not sure if I can come close to doing it justice. I love you.)

I have been reformed. On Sunday, before grabbing our plane home from a weekend of bachelor party madness, we decided that a wonderful ending to a mad bachelor weekend would be going to see Transformers. It proved to be just the cure to everything that had ensued in the days prior. I must admit that I was not ready for this to be the type of movie that it was. I was fully expecting to sleep through the movie, only to find myself on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Go see this movie.

I have never been much of a Megan Fox fan for a number of reasons. She’s always reminded me of a younger Angelina Jolie, and I’m not attracted to Angelina Jolie. Secondly, because she’s engaged to be married to 90210 alum Brian Austin Green. Isn’t he a super douche? I mean, come on. And thirdly, she has dumb tattoos. Wow, that’s a lot of reasond to not like someone, but when she came on the screen in Transformers all was, well, transformed. Granted I did learn more things about her in that movie like; she can’t act, and her voice is annoying. So, take away her 90210 alum fiancee, her dumb tattoos, and her voice and she’s friggin’ smoking. Go see the movie, you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Just look at the few screenshots I put up below.

We’re always looking for the next great thing and thankfully we may have found her. I mean can you blame us for looking? With Allison Stokke trying her best to stay away from all things fame, despite the rumor that she’ll be signing with Nike, we need the next hot athlete to carry the torch. What kind of torch? The torch of hotness and actual talent. Isn’t that what made Stokke a little bit hotter? It helped a lot that the chick was a great pole-vaulter, right? Then, her family turned on us, and left us wanting more. Well, I’m ready to move on… (not really Stokke… call me.)

Ladies and Gentleman… Meet Lauren Collins…

I stumbled upon Lauren while, and I’ll admit it, checking out one of Stokke’s results from a meet. Like I’ve said before, I became a fan of hers and wanted her to do well, and that’s when I read about this other chick in Southern California named Lauren Collins. She was special, and she was good. Currently, Collins is a sophomore at UC Irvine and she’s from Santa Margarita High School. It’s obvious that a chick that comes from a high school named after alcohol is destined for greatness, no? As Stokke was winning another National Record, Lauren was earning a lifetime-best 5-08 victory in the high jump, winning the 100m high hurdles in a wind legal 14.87 and winning her debut in the long jump in 17-01 (DyeStatCal). So, let’s see… 3 events, all wins or PB’s. Lauren is freaking good. Of course, in high school Lauren had All-State honors, because she freaking owns this state. There’s a myth going around that Lauren actually was the reason for Kobe Bryant wanting out of L.A. He basically thought that he wasn’t the best athlete in the city, and couldn’t handle it. Again, that may be a myth.

Now that she’s at UC Irvine, life continues to be amazing for this chick. New University Online states that, “This track season, Collins has been tearing it up. She was named Big West Female Field Athlete of the Week last week, the second time she’s received that honor this year and the third time in her career. And get this: she’s only a sophomore.” Oh yeah, New University Online? Get this: she’s freaking hot, to boot. Here’s the freaky part, though: Lauren is currently competing in 7 different events. “What you say?” NUO continues, “Yes, Collins is a heptathlete. She competes in seven events: high jump, shot put, long jump, javelin throw, 100-meter hurdles, 200-meters and 800-meters.” In high school I did the 200, 400, and 4×400. After the meets I wanted to vomit and have sex, in that order. I need to get down to Irvine and see which Lauren does. Mother of God that’s a lot of events. I mean, how do you have time in the day to practice for each? “I hated sitting down and waiting for events,” Collins said. “Track meets can be a bit boring. I figured I have two difficult ones down, why not try other events? That would keep me active and busy.” Well, that makes sense.

The best quote from NUO, “Unlike the people in the bus ride to Stanford, Collins’ opponents will be seeing her from behind.” Man alive, how can I be an opponent? Enjoy Lauren Collins. She’s hot and talented… I’m sure there’s more to come.

LAUREN COLLINS NAMED BIG WEST ATHLETE OF WEEK

IRVINE, Calif. — UC Irvine sophomore Lauren Collins has been named the Big West Conference female Field Athlete of the Week.

Collins set a new school record with 5,446 points in the Mt. SAC Relays Heptathlon at Azusa Pacific last week. She had marks of 5-10 in the high jump, 34-1 1/2 in the shot put, 18-5 in the long jump, 123-3 in the javelin throw, 14.43 in the 100-meter hurdles, 25.66 in the 200 meters and 2:18.89 in the 800 meters. Collins broke the 20-year old record that was set by Karin Grelsson with 5,367 points in 1987.

She is also UCI’s record-holder in the high jump (5-11 1/4) and she ranks sixth in the 100-meter hurdles (14.43).

This is the second time this season that Collins has earned the Big West award and the third time in her career.

Do you know Minka? She’s so hot it makes me want to crap myself. There’s not much to know about her other than the general hotness that she exudes. Of course, she steams up my TV every Sunday morning as Lyla Garrity on Friday Night Lights. Yes, I realize the show is on Friday nights, but I have TiVo and I’m not staying home to watch it. Plus, to have a football show to watch on Sunday kind takes the place of football right now. I need that. She’s coming out with a movie called The Kingdom with Jamie Foxx and Chris Cooper, about the bombing of an American facility in the Middle East. It actually does not even sound remotely interesting. Now, at this point you’re wondering how Minka got so hot. We’ll she’s the child of an old Aerosmith band member, and a Vegas showgirl. Truth be told, I don’t know how this chick isn’t a train wreck. Who cares, as long as she stays hot and NBC keeps renewing Friday Night Lights.
