Recently I decided to retract an earlier criticism, but anger and hatred prevail in “The Sin-A Goons.”

I along with numerous Temples of Satan membership and clergy have been paying a visit to the Internet’s Chat Rooms visiting membership and clergy of the Sinagouge of Satan to get the following responses from their “wacky”leaders and clergy Mike Margolin and Knife Sotelo both

social misfits for certain.

Knife Sotelo a “wanna-be” rapper and gangster and worse “wanna-be” Satanic Leader remained silent through the mess that ensued when Theistic Satanists began to rip apart at the “soft underbelly” of The Singagouge of Satan lead by admitted Margolin, with claims as far fetched as Knife’s in the Rap Community.

First he was approached by a Black Moon Society Founder and Former Temples of Satan Founder the renown G. M. Wynter, after several questions that were not malicious and asked about the general belief system of the Sinagouge of Satan he was removed via banning from the conversation, shortly thereafter I attacked but not for what I have written but glib and pseudo intellectual “name calling” which I hedged off with kindness and a attempt to calm the situation.

Margolis was not the have the calm he continued to banter and attack, but before he did so he released some very damaging information I will share with those who take Satanism seriously.

Mike admitted to selling Crack Cocaine in front of myself and two Temples of Satan members, and also condoned the behavior as acceptable, he also expounded of his fondness for Marijuana and expounded on how he felt it perfectly fine to prescribe it anyone who doctors deemed fit to use it.

This behavior is not something of a Great Leader but someone who preys on people for friendship and provides little but more useless “besmirching”of the Satanic Community, which as we all know already has a bad enough past thanks to the former Howard Stanton L aVey and his “C.o.S. Goons.”

If one is to partake in drugs at least have the class to not admit to in the public eye, I am accepting of many things but as you have the right to do it, I have the right to be critical and or be safe from it.

I ask membership if your founder gets busted during a ritual, you may also be taken to the station, and alerting people of this behavior is like telling people you shoplifted yesterday at K-Mart®!

So think this was just a bad day at Margolin’s house I revisited the “self proclaimed” Mad Poet, and found out his background was based on Thelema, which in not way whatsoever fits into the slot of Satanism in anyway whatsoever and it is clearly stated by Golden Dawn Member Kale in this reprinted article as follows:

Hi Blackwood, to answer you question Thelema has no roots based in Satanism, and it is sad that anyone could even place the two together in this world, we share Crowley but even his text’s are constantly replaced by Golden Dawn Initiates and Adepts to further ourselves from Satanism.

So what is this organization or should I say disorganization, so far we have seen very little other than a few negative clergy booting people from chat rooms and carrying on about people and attacking people as they ask questions related to the Sinagouge of Satan.

I have also engaged in such behavior in the past myself but, grew out of it choosing my battles carefully and choosing them at my leisure, I answer questions now regarding the Organization and keep myself out except for releases correcting rumors, which often times are started by people like Mike and his gang of Sin-A-Goons of Satan.

It is sad that I have to root out these Pseudo Groups but perhaps the Sin-A-Goons of Satan are a affiliate of the Brotherhood of Satan where one can prosper and enjoy life thanks to some “fake doctrines’ they never produce other than to claim such.

There is no Secret Doctrines in Satanism, no chest waiting to be opened nothing new, but plenty of old and historical along with new stuff written because of the old, but it remains that the Sinagouge of Satan remains another group intent on leading some sheep to a “proverbial trough of falsehood.”

Exposing The Sinagouge of Satan.

So. Endlich zuhause. Wieder mal. Das Spiel liegt schon seid Freitag bei mir. Richtig Zocken konnte ich erst heute. Oder auch zocken lassen. Wie mans nimmt. Erste Eindrücke? Win! Und das zum Kubik!

Zuallererst: Welcher Vollpfosten verpasst diesen Großartigen Spiel eine USK ab 6? Ich meine, ein MindestIQ von 105 sollte vorrausgesetzt sein, damit man das Spiel überhaupt in seiner vollen Pracht verstehen und genießen kann.

Wie auf dem Cover wunderbar zu sehen gibt es mehrere neue Charaktere. Emil und Marta bilden hierbei unser Hauptcharakerduo. Oben in der Mitte sieht man Richter, von dem ich momentan nicht weiß, was ich halten soll. Er scheint einem sowohl feindlich als auch freundlich gesonnen zu sein. Links und Rechts oben sind die Centurios, welche ebenfalls ihr Debüt in dem Spiel feiern – Mehr dazu, wenn ihr das Spielt selbst spielt . Und natürlich sind die alten Charaktere auch wieder dabei! Das spielselbst beginnt in Palmacosta, wo man die ersten 10 Minuten seines Lebens mit Videoschauen verschwendet. Tipp an alle: Vergesst NICHT zu speichern. Die 10 Minuten kann man nämlich nicht überspringen, wie ich entsetzt feststellen musste. In diesem Video erkennt man, wie Marta von Randomguys bedroht würd, Ratatosks Hilfe erbittet und alle KO durch Emil aufgefunden werden, dessen Eltern umgebracht worden. Und so startet man nach diesem Filmchen bei Random Onkel A und Random Tante A, die einen eigentlich gar nicht mögen. Man kann sich die Stadt anschauen, die ToS-Spieler aus dem ersten Spiel bereits wiedererkennen werden und wird auch prompt in einen Dialog mit zwei Kindern gestellt, wo man sich das erste mal frei entscheiden kann. Hier versagt das Spiel: Nach 12 Stunden Spielzeit habe ich 4 (vier) dieser Möglichkeiten gesehen. Und ob diese etwas auf das Ending auswirken ist fraglich. Huch, hab ich mich da gerade verplappert? Hm *g*. Wie auch im Vorgänger lockt das Spiel mit vielen Sidestorys, zwischensequenzen, die diesmal sogar gevoiced (und extrem lustig sind, weil Marta und Emil einfach nur Random sind) und animiert sind.

Das Kampfsystem ähnelt dem von ToS 1, allerdings wurde daran noch gefeilt: Man kann sich jetzt frei bewegen, was aber auch mit einigen nachteilen verbunden ist. Außerdem ist der Schwer-Modus nun WIRKLICH schwer, so kann es ungeübten Spielern schon mal passieren, dass sie von normalen Gegnern nach 2 Schlägen sterben. Ganz zu schweigen von Bossen. Dort holt man sich lieber gleich einen zweiten Spieler. Und sowieso – Zu zweit macht das Spiel gleich doppelt Spaß. Neu im Spiel ist auch, dass man sich Monster zähmen kann, was auch einige Boni mit sich bringt. Unison-Attacken gibt es noch, allerdings nicht mehr so wie früher. Findet es am besten selbst heraus.

Die Dungeons sind zum Teil wiederaufgearbeitet, ebenso die Städte. Man erkennt deutlich, dass an der Grafik gefeilt wurde, und die Dialoge der Charaktere sind einfach nur göttlich und sollten mit jedem Zuge genossen werden. Alte Dungeons werden dennoch mit neuen Räumen belegt, sodass auch altgesonnte Spieler etwas zum knabbern haben. Die Städte haben sich zum Teil in Klima, Größe, Einwoherzahl usw verändert, also solltet ihr euch wieder jedes Haus gründlichst anschauen.

Der Umgang mit dem Menü braucht kurze Eingewöhnungszeit, nach 2 – 3 Stunden Spielzeit sollte man es aber eigentlich beherrschen. Auch hier gilt wieder: ToS-Spieler haben einen Vorteil, da es sich dem alten doch sehr ähnelt.

Das einzige, was mir bisher aufgefallen ist, was mich wirklich stört, ist, dass es keine selbst begehbare Weltkarte mehr gibt. Dies spart zwar Zeit, aber ehrlichgesagt hat mir das im alten Spiel immer Spaß gemacht, auf der Weltkarte rumzufliegen.

Alles in allem kann ich nach 12 Stunden Spielzeit sagen, dass das Spiel bisher einen guten Eindruck macht und der Nachfolge ToS’s würdig ist. Für alle die, die die NTSC-Version bereits gespielt haben: Was haltet ihr von dem Spiel?

Soweit, so gut. Das Spiel kriegt von mir auf einer Bewertungsskala (nach 12 Stunden Spielzeit) 8,5 von 10 Punkten. Ich bin gespannt wie die Story weitergeht. Und jetzt – Verschwindet: Ich habe Hunger

I haven’t done an “Image of the Day” for a while, so here’s one.  In retrospect, I guess I could have called these “Image Every Once in a While.” 

When I originally made this background, I thought it looked like a bright star.  Then I rendered the ship in and did a lot of post-render work (which made the start brighter) and I realized it looks like a start that’s perhaps too bright.  Like, say, one that’s going to go Nova pretty soon.  Hence, the image title.

Here’s an orthographic sheet of my new Enterprise model.  I’ve never done one of these in widescreen but it made more sense to me to render the ships going up the screen and then rotate the sheet once I had them properly positioned.  (I rendered them separately and then composited them together.)  I didn’t bother with much info on the ship like I do on many of my ortho sheets.  I figure most serious TOS Trekkies know the information and those who don’t can look on any of several dozen websites to find it. 

Two things I hate more than anything are math and exercise. No, I am not 500 lbs. I just don’t like exercise that is boring. I prefer to backpack and rock climb. Yes, I am a teacher, and I teach math and do a very good job at it. I have always struggled with math because I am dyslexic and learning disabled. I taught myself how to do math, and now God uses me to help children who need it. I don’t have to like math or exercise to know it is good for me. Being honest with my students helps them to learn that, too. I am also honest when I say that I groaned when I found out that the product I received free to review for the TOS Crew was an exercise DVD that incorporated math. And no, the vendor doesn’t control what I say about their product. However, I am fair, as well as, honest. This isn’t about me, but about helping my parents find products suitable for their students. If you read my blog regularly, you will know that once again I was pleasantly surprised at what I found.

The DVD, Gymathtics, created by Carrie Scheiner and her family through Suncheine World, LLC. Is well-produced and developed. Ms. Scheiner uses the premise that learning is enhanced by making as many connections in the brain as possible. Information from even seemingly different topics can be joined together and taught through activities to increase the connections leading to even stronger learning connections. In this case, math concepts are connected with physical exercise movements. Many students will find this odd, but this odd difference lends to its interest and fun. The program provides a warm-up section that has your body making lines, circles, and polygons that stretch your muscles preparing them for the more strenuous exercises to come. Your student will practice various ways to count as they do aerobic exercises, and then the intensity increases with pattern power as your student will do various pattern movement activities that strengthen the muscles and heart. On the screen there are diagrams with math information about polygons, circles, different kinds of visual patterns, and skip counting methods. Most are self-explanatory. During her exercise instruction, Ms. Scheiner also gives more math information verbally. The DVD finishes with the “Well-being Wind Down” section where she leads in relaxing stretches cooling down the body from the aerobic activity while explaining healthy lifestyle choices. These choices are placed on the screen as text at the end of the exercise program. The multisensory concept of math and exercise together is unique, but many students will find it delightful.

Being multisensory, many special needs students will be able to access it and benefit from its information such as those with autism, learning disabilities, dyslexia, attention deficit and attention deficit with hyperactivity, especially. Deaf students will be able to get a lot of detail from the math concepts as well as being able to follow the exercise steps pretty well visually. Ms. Scheiner often demonstrates the moves before the exercise begins. She could do this every time to be more beneficial. A Deaf student might benefit more from the math concepts if more of what Ms. Scheiner relates verbally is added to the diagrams on the screen or more diagrams were used during the exercise segments. Blind students will be able to access the music and dialogue of the DVD. Ms. Scheiner, trying not to overdo the verbal content for probably time purposes and interest of the student, may at times not give enough instruction of the movement of the exercise for a totally blind or mostly blind student to easily do the exercise. A little more specific instruction could probably be done to allow for more accessibility by a blind student. Math concepts could really use more verbal information added to allow for more benefit of the blind student, as well. Ms. Scheiner does a good job without probably even trying to provide accessibility. I am pretty certain that she could do an excellent job when aware that her DVD’s could be used by an even wider audience with just a little more thought and planning of verbal script and diagramming. You may think that there is no hope for the DeafBlind student. Well, I participated right along with my student helpers for this review. I, of course, could not get any information directly being DeafBlind. My students tactually explained to me the moves and the math concepts. I didn’t always do them perfectly, but it allowed us to giggle a lot. My readers know that I like lots of giggling during my lessons. Giggling equals fun, and fun equals better learning and longer remembering.

Gymathtics is a unique, but great way to get your students moving and possibly learning some math. They may not even realize they are” doing math”. This is their first DVD, $24.99,  but more are available and others being developed. Their website at http://www.exploramania.com has these DVD’s and other products like exercise mats and balls using math.  Check them out, and you may soon be giggling over doing polygons and parallelograms.

In preparation for my purchase of J.J. Abrams’s reboot of Star Trek on blu-ray, I’m revisiting the film that made all of the other sequels possible: Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. I try to watch this film once every couple of years, and it never disappoints.  I came late to the Star Trek party overall, not being a fan of the original series and only being a casual watcher of TNG in the 90’s.  My mom is the Trekker of the family.  Back when mail order VHS tapes were the rage, my mom bought every Star Trek episode that Time Life offered.  They’re still piled in her closet to this day.  I watched Star Trek: Generations and Star Trek: First Contact when I was in junior high, and at the time it was only because I liked sci-fi action.  I followed the TNG films through the years.  I didn’t think Insurrection was that bad.  The film just felt more like a long episode of the TV series.  Nemesis was a good try, and there are some very good acting moments, but it just felt like another TNG series finale.

It’s 2002, and I had pretty much given up on the Trek.  When First Contact premiered on Special Edition DVD, I went to Best Buy to pick it up, and I also saw that Paramount had released a Special Edition of Star Trek II.  All of my trekker friends insisted that it was the best film in the series and that I was crazy for never seeing it.  I don’t like to be looked at as crazy after all, so I picked it up on a lark.  I don’t usually buy DVDs sight unseen, but I had a good feeling.  Thank Starfleet that my feeling was right, because right away I was hooked.  I was 21, yet I felt like a 10 year-old again.  Every room on the Starship Enterprise looked like a swinging 70’s bachelor pad strapped to a warp drive.  The early special effects were bright and interesting.  The acting was classic.  Nimoy may have been the talent, but Shatner was the charm.  James Horner’s score was lively and made the scenes even more fun.  The action sequences were large and reckless, yet had the timeless poise of an old sea epic.  If Shakespeare were alive, he might have been a script doctor on this film, especially for Khan’s dialogue.

All in all, Star Trek II renewed and expanded my love for the Star Trek series.  Every time I come across the original series on TV, I watch at least a few minutes if not the entire episode.  TNG is a bit more involved, and I’ll only watch it if I catch it at the very beginning.  In addition to the TNG films, I’ve now seen Star Treks II, IV, and VI.  I’m planning on writing a review of the odd numbered Trek films very soon.  I’m a little afraid, since I’ve heard less than positive things about them, but that’s what makes writing about them so fun.

2.AKUN PENGGUNA ( USER ACCOUNT )

2.1 Karena Kata Sandi ( Password ) Anda harus dijaga kerahasiaannya dari Pengguna lain, Kami menyimpannya dalam format yang diacak. Jika seseorang melakukan hack terhadap Akun Anda, Kami tidak bertanggung jawab. Jika Anda meminta ( Request ) password Anda, Kami akan mengirimkannya melalui Email Anda.
2.2 Anda hanya diperbolehkan memiliki satu Akun. Setiap percobaan untuk membuat lebih dari satu Akun, akan menyebabkan ditutupnya semua Akun yang Anda buat. Ini juga berlaku pada Akun AlertPay/PayPal/NETELLER yang bersifat Unique dan tidak dapat digunakan bersama dengan Pengguna lainnya.
2.3 Anda hanya dapat melihat suatu iklan dengan menggunakan Alamat IP yang sama dalam interval 24 jam.Namun Anda dapat melakukan Log Masuk ( Login ) dengan beberapa Alamat IP berbeda. Setiap percobaan untuk melakukan hal lain diluar ketentuan diatas, dapat dikenakan sangsi ditutupna Akun Anda. Log Masuk ( Logging In ) dengan Proxy atau Jaringan ( Network ) yang dibagi ( Jaringan Sekolah, LAN rumah, Warnet ) adalah dilarang.
2.4 Alamat Email Anda tidak akan di publikasi, diberikan ke orang lain, atau dijual.
2.5 Akun tidak dapat dialihkan ke orang lain.
2.6 Neobux tidak akan melakukan perubahan Akun Pengguna atas permintaan Pengguna.
2.7 Pengguna yang menggunakan Identitas ( Information ) palsu saat mendaftar atau merubah setting pribadi ( Personal Setting ) akan dikenakan sangsi pemblokiran Akun mereka.
2.8 Hanya satu Akun yang dapat digunakan dalam satu Komputer ( IP )yang diperbolehkan melihat Iklan ( Ads ). Jika satu Komputer digunakan untuk lebih dari satu Akun, maka Akun-Akun tersebut akan diblokir permanen.
2.9 Anda tidak diijinkan untuk melakukan redirect otomatis ke website Neobux dari website lain atau memasang Website Neobux di website lain baik terlihat ( visible ) maupun tidak.
3. REFERRAL

3.1 Anda diijikan mereferensi ( refer ) orang sebanyak mungkin.
3.2 Setiap orang yang akan menjadi Referral Anda, harus menggunakan Email tunggal ( Unique )
3.3 Anda tidak diijinkan untuk memaksa seseorang menjadi Referral Anda. Kami akan melakukan pemeriksaan ( verify ) jika hal tersebut terjadi yang dapat menyebabkan penutupan Akun Anda.
3.4 Untuk Rented Referral berlaku ketentuan penggantian. Jika dalam 14 hari salah satu Rented Referral Anda sama sekali tidak melakukan klik iklan, secara otomatis Anda akan mendapatkan Referral penganti tanpa tambahan biaya. Hal ini berlaku untuk semua Rented Referral, tanpa batas waktu. Ketentuan ini hanya berlaku untuk Rented Referral dan Referral Anda hanya akan digantikan jika ada pengganti yang tersedia. Rented Referral didistribusikan berdasarkan ketentuan aktifitas namun Kami tidak dapat meramalkan atau menjamin bagaimana mereka akan bersikap ( behave ) sesudahnya. Jika Anda tidak memperpanjang masa sewa dari Referral Sewa Anda, maka Anda akan dikenakan biaya antara $0,02 sampai $0,05 tergantung jenis keanggotaan Anda.
3.5 Anda hanya akan mendapatkan bayaran dari Referral yang direferensikan langsung (direct ) oleh Anda atau yang Anda sewa ( Rented ).
3.6 Anda hanya dapat menyewa Referral jika Rented Referral tersedia.
3.7 Hasil dari klik Referral Anda berhubungan langsung dengan seberapa banyak klik yang sudah Anda lakukan. Jika Anda melakukan klik minimal 4 iklan sebagai Standar / Pioneer atau 9 iklan sebagai Golden, Anda berhak atas semua hasil dari klik Referral Anda. Namun jika banyaknya klik Anda dibawah ketentuan minimum diatas, hasil maksimum dari klik Referral yang akan Anda terima adalah jumlah klik yang sudah Anda lakukan dikali dengan jumlah Referral yang Anda miliki. Jumlah klik Referral Anda yang akan diakui dihitung berdasarkan jumlah klik iklan Anda hari kemarin. Penghitungan ini menggunakan Waktu Server ( Server Time ) yang dapat dilihat pada halaman “View Advertisement“.
3.8 Referral tidak dapat mengubah siapa yang telah mereferensikan dirinya.
3.9 Jumlah Referral dibatasi berdasarkan jenis keanggotaan dan lamanya waktu keanggotaan. Pengguna dapat melihat batas ini di halaman “Direct Referral Listing”.
3.10 Pengguna hanya diperbolehkan memiliki Direct Referal setelah menjadi Anggota ( member ) selama lebih dari 30 hari dan setidaknya memiliki 100 klik.
4. KETENTUAN ANTI-CHEAT (ANTI-CHEAT POLICY )
4.1 Setiap percobaan, dengan cara apapun, untuk melakukan Hack sistem, akan dicatat ( Logged ).
4.2 Kadang Kami akan memperingatkan Anda, kadang tidak. Saat Anda melakukan permintaan pembayaran ( Payout request ), sistem Kami akan menganalisa terlebih dahulu. Biasanya, percobaan Hack system akan menyebabkan penutupan Akun Anda.
4.3 Kami tidak selalu menginformasikan jika Akun Anda Kami tutup. Jika Kami menginformasikannya, Kami akan memberitahu lewat Email, jika tidak, Anda akan diberitahu sesaat setelah Anda mencoba menggunakan Layanan Neobux.
5. PEMBAYARAN KEPADA PENGGUNA (PAYMENTS TO USERS )
5.1 Semua pembayaran hanya akan dilakukan dengan Akun AlertPay, PayPal atau NETEELER. Tidak ada jenis layanan lain yang Kami gunakan saat ini.
5.2 Segala permintaan Pembayaran akan dibayar sesaat (Instantly) setelah permintaan (Request) dilakukan atau maksimal dalam jangka waktu 48 jam setelah permintaan Pembayaran dilakukan Pengguna jika Pemroses Layanan (Processor Service) sedang down.
5.3 Jumlah minimum yang akan dibayar adalah $2,00 pada permintaan pembayaran pertama (First Cashout). Jumlah ini akan dinaikkan sebesar $1,00 setiap kali Anda melakukan permintaan Pembayaran berikutnya sampai menyentuh batas atas sebesar $10,00.
5.4 Anda hanya dapat melakukan permintaan Pembayaran satu kali dalam waktu yang sama.
5.5 Kami hanya bertanggungjawab untuk meneruskan Permintaan Pembayaran Anda ke pemroses pembayaran (Payment Processor). Setiap hal setelah itu akan ditangani dan menjaditanggungjawab bagian pemroses pembayaran (Payment Processor Support).
5.6 Anda harus memiliki Akun AlertPay atau PayPal dan atau NETELLER ID yang benar. Semua Pembayaran akan langsung ditujukan ke Alamat Email Pengguna Akun tersebut dan tidak dapat dibatalkan. Untuk dapat dibayar lewat Akun PayPal, pastikan Anda memiliki Akun PayPal di Negara yang sudah didukung oleh PayPal dan harus login dari Negara tersebut.
5.7 Setelah melakukan Permintaan Pembayaran, Pengguna harus menunggu 4 hari untuk dapat melakukan permintaan pembayaran berikutnya.
5.8 Pengguna harus mengkonfirmasi (Accept) pembayaran yang dilakukan ke AlertPay, PayPal atau NETELLER dalam waktu 30 hari kalender atau pembayaran akan dibatalkan dan tidak dapat diminta kembali (un-Refundable).
5.9 Setiap permintaan pembayaran kembali (Refund) terhadap pembayaran Kami, tidak akan dihiraukan dan tidak akan ditambahkan kembali ke Akun Neobux Anda.
6. PENGIKLANAN ( ADVERTISEMENT )
6.1 Kami menerima setiap permintaan pengiklanan kecuali yang bersifat merusak Frame dari web Neobux, memiliki kode berbahaya (Malicious Code), redirect ke halaman web lain, memiliki konten dewasa dan konten illegal serta iklan yang berhubungan dengan judi, mengandung konten judi atau dimiliki oleh Perusahaan Judi.
6.2 Anda sebagai Pengguna, hanya akan menerima hasil dari setiap iklan sekali dalam 24 jam.
6.3 Kami berhak menolak iklan yang dirasa tidak sesuai untuk diiklankan.
6.4 Iklan tidak boleh dilihat dengan Telepon Selular (Mobile Phones). Jika melakukannya, Akun Anda akan ditutup.
7. PEMBAYARAN KE NEOBUX (PAYMENTS TO NEOBUX )
7.1 Segala bentuk pembayaran dapat dilakukan lewat tautan yang disediakan pada halaman “Your Account”. Tidak ada metode lain selain yang ada di halaman tersebut yang digunakan.
7.2 Semua jenis pembayaran tidak dapat diminta kembali (non-refundable) kecuali pembayaran yang dijelaskan pada poin 3.4.
7.3 Pembayaran yang dillakukan dengan AlertPay, akan dikonfirmasikan ke Email AlertPay Anda. Setiap pembayaran yang dilakukan dengan suatu Akun AlertPay, akan dianggap sebagai Pembayaran yang dilakukan oleh Member yang terdaftar atas Akun AlertPay tesebut, jika tidak ada member yang menggunakan Akun AlertPay tersebut, Pembayaran tersebut tidak akan dianggap ada.
7.4 Pembayaran yang ditujukan ke Neobux dengan menggunakan Akun PayPal, hanya akan diterima dari Verified PayPal Account.
7.5 Setiap usaha pengembalian pembayaran dari Anda dapat menyebabkan penutupan segera Akun Anda.
8. PEMBLOKIRAN AKUN (ACCOUNT SUSPENSION )
8.1 Kami memiliki hak untuk melakukan pemblokiran Akun Anda kapanpun untuk alas an yang valid, termasuk, namun tidak dibatasi, ketidakhormatan terhadap Ketentuan Layanan ( Terms Of Service ).
8.2 Setiap Akun yang diblokir, rekeningnya akan di reset, Referral akan dihapus, dan tidak akan diberikan pengembalian dana.
8.3 Setiap Akun yang diblokir akan di arsipkan dan Anda tidak akan dapat mendaftar kembali dengan Nama Pengguna ( username ) dan email yang sama.
8.4 Jika dalam 30 hari Anda tidak aktif di Neobux, maka Akun Anda di blokir secara temporer dan akan diblokir secara permanen jika Anda tidak aktif selama 60 hari. Akun yang tidak aktif selama 72 jam setelah pendaftaran, akan diblokir permanen.
8.5 Kami tidak akan menghapus Akun Pengguna dengan alasan apapun baik Akun Pengguna yang aktif, ditutup, maupun diblokir
9. KEWAJIBAN ( LIABILITY )
9.1 Neobux tidak bertanggungjawab atas segala jenis keterlambatan atau kegagalan yang tidak terkait langsung dengan Neobux dan hal-hal yang diluar kendali Kami.
9.2 Neobux memiliki hak untuk mengubah Ketentuan Layanan ( Terms Of Service ) kapanpun, termasuk biaya, penawaran spesial, keuntungan dan peraturan, serta berhak untuk membatalkan layanan kapanpun tanpa pemberitahuan sebelumnya.
9.3 Neobux tidak akan bertanggungjawab ke setiap Pengguna maupun pengiklan. Ini juga termasuk penyedia yang Kami gunakan.
9.4 Neobux tidak bertanggungjawab atas Pajak yang dikenakan kepada Anda atas penghasilan yang Anda terima dari Kami. Anda bertanggungjawab atas apa yang sudah Anda terima dan bayarkan kepada Pajak Negara Anda.

I’m almost done with the stardrive section.  I just have to add a few lights and small things and then I’ll be ready to build the most fun part, the nacelles. 

I decided to change a couple of plans I had for this model.

One plan was to model each detail, including all of the dozens of cuts in the grills on the warp pylons and nacelles. However, the object subtraction tool in trueSpace was being a pain in the butt and then, when I did get it to work, one set of 4 grills for one pylon was over 43,000 polygons. So, I opted for a texture with a bump map to simulate the holes. (the modeled grills wouldn’t have looked a lot better anyway, unless you got really close to them)

Another thing I nixed was the working shuttlebay doors. I can make working clamshell doors, I’ve done it lots of times. In fact, I find them to be some of the easiest doors to make. However, I have a few really close shots of the “doors” on the 11-foot studio model and, in order to make them work, they won’t be very accurate. And, since I’m going for accuracy here, I opted for nonworking doors that are more accurately modeled.

It’s amazing how much having your laptop break can throw off your regular schedule.  I had a few system files get corrupted during a power failure, but was too busy to turn my computer in to get fixed since most of the programs I needed for schoolwork were still operational.  This past week, I finally didn’t have anything due, so I managed to get it into the computer repair center and now have it back and fully functional again!  I could probably turn this into a discussion of our growing reliance on computers and technology, but since that doesn’t really have too much to do with this fourth Star Trek episode, I’ll decline for now.  Perhaps sometime in the future when it fits in better with the themes of the show.

I also realized that perhaps I should give an overview of the plot of each episode before I analyze it, for people who haven’t seen it or who don’t remember exactly what happens.  In this episode, the Enterprise stops to check on a research outpost only to find all the scientists inexplicably dead.  While analyzing the situation, one of the crew members takes off his gloves and winds up touching a contaminated liquid that amplifies emotions to dangerous levels.  He then spreads the infection to other crew members including Spock and Kirk, who find it increasingly difficult to control the situation aboard the ship.  Lt. Kevin Riley attempts to take control of the ship, locking himself in the engineering room and endangering the crew by turning off the Enterprise’s engines and allowing the ship to drift out of orbit toward the planet surface.  When Scotty and Kirk finally manage to break into the engineering room and regain control, they are forced to perform a dangerous, cold re-start of the engines, which has never been tried before.  The restart, which involves combining matter and anti-matter in a “controlled implosion”, works as planned, but with the unusual side effect of sending the Enterprise back in time approximately three days.

This episode actually had very little reliance on technology at all, at least until the very end.  Its main focus was instead on the idea of emotion and control, a common theme throughout the show.  In fact, all of the episodes so far have played on the idea that emotion and intelligence (logic) need to be balanced.  In “The Man Trap”, excessive emotion for Nancy prevents earlier discovery of her as a monster and allows her to continue preying on crewmen.  Charlie’s inability to control his emotions in “Charlie X” is a key factor in his danger.  Because he uses power when upset, rather than logically, he needs to be stopped.  Lastly, in “Where No Man Has Gone Before” an imbalance between logic and emotion results in the need for Gary Mitchell’s destruction as well, because his intelligence has surpassed the human connections that would have balanced it.

In “The Naked Time”, almost all the major characters suffered from an excess of emotion.  Kirk demonstrates both his love for and resentment of the Enterprise, both enjoying and hating how closely tied his life is to the ship.  He also succumbs to paranoia at the thought of losing control.  In many ways, these are merely exaggerations of the factors that make him a good captain– love for his ship and job, as well as a desire and ability to maintain control.  The fact that exaggerating them makes him less effective plays well into the idea that emotion and logic need to be balanced– increasing his emotions correspondingly decreases his logic.  In terms of other characters, Sulu displays his passion for fencing and his active desire to be a heroic “swashbuckler”, challenging other crew members to fights and declaring his intent to “protect” Uhura as a classic damsel in distress.  Riley warbles Irish ballads repeatedly, much to the annoyance of the rest of the crew.  Nurse Chapel, who is first introduced in this episode, confesses her feelings for Spock.

Even Spock himself is affected by the contamination, which is unusual in two aspects.  First, the show often emphasizes how his biological makeup is different from that of humans, making him immune to many things that affect them.  For example, McCoy often refers to Spock as green-blooded, and he was safe from Nancy in “The Man Trap” because of the lack of salt in his body. Second, and obviously, Spock is usually shown as emotionless, at least in many ways.  To see him react strongly to Nurse Chapel’s confession and to cry about not being able to tell his mother he loves her is almost disturbing in a way, because it is so unexpected based on how he is normally represented.  On the other hand, his struggle between human and Vulcan is a recurring theme of the series, and this episode can be seen as just a continuation of that, albeit a much more extreme one than normal.  It is also interesting to note that within four episodes, he has been overtly approached by one woman, Chapel, and covertly pursued by another, Uhura.  I guess pointy ears are supremely attractive in the future?

And speaking of pointy ears, racial representations are particularly interesting in this episode.  Sulu, in particular, is seen in a very interesting light.  Gene Roddenberry intended for Sulu to represent all of Asia, rather than a specific culture like that of Japan or China.  In fact, according to George Takei, the original actor who played Sulu, the name “Sulu” was chosen specifically because it was not Japanese, while Takei was.  But if that’s the case, why in this episode was Sulu presented as European far more than Asian?  When the disease drives him to fence and challenge other crew members, he does so with a foil, a traditionally European sword.  Spock even says that Sulu “is at heart a swashbuckler out of the 18th century”, and Sulu himself makes declarations like “For honor, Queen and France!” and “Richelieu, beware!”  For a character that is meant to represent a general Asian identity, this focus on France seems odd, particularly with the extensive martial history of many Asian cultures.  It would have been simple to portray Sulu in one of these traditions, rather than as a French fencer.

In contrast to this decreased emphasis on Sulu’s identity as Asian, Riley’s ethnic identity as Irish is over emphasized.  When he takes over the engineering room, he subjects the crew of the Enterprise to repeated warblings of “I’ll Take You Home Again, Kathleen”, an Irish-style ballad.  Spock also references Riley’s belief that he is descended from Irish kings as an explanation for his behavior under the influence of the infection.  Therefore, both characters are presented in a European framework, despite their obvious racial differences and the diversity they are supposed to represent on the Enterprise.  It is funny to see the characters represented in this manner, but seems contrary to the goals Roddenberry was trying to accomplish in terms of breaking social conventions of the time period.  Gene said at one point, “[By creating] a new world with new rules, I could make statements about sex, religion, Vietnam, politics, and intercontinental missiles. Indeed, we did make them on Star Trek: we were sending messages and fortunately they all got by the network.”  Presenting a Europeanized Asian character tempers or even counters these messages, making it appear that other races are acceptable only in that they also possess a degree of “whiteness”.

In some ways, it seems similar to the problem I’ve seen in how women act on the show– they are put into many situations that were unusual for the time, showing the ways in which the creators of Star Trek used the futuristic setting to break social norms, but were still in some ways limited by social convention.  This even comes up a bit in this episode where Uhura is given a job and Riley, who is developing his infection, starts discussing universal suffrage and letting women work too.  His statements are groundbreaking for the time in their support of equal rights, but also remain slightly patronizing with regards to his tone.  In terms of race, the diversity of the Enterprise’s crew was almost unheard of at the time when the show was produced, but was also not perfect.

If I get a chance to move onto the later Star Trek varieties, it’ll be interesting to see how/if this problem changes.  Or even how it progresses throughout the seasons of TOS.  I suppose I’ll have to hurry onto the next disc of the set!

I’ve got some work done on the stardrive section.  The main time consuming parts are done (the “arms” around the deflector, shuttlebay area and windows) but there’s still much to be done on this one.  I also lessened the effect of the grid on the textures.

I think I have everything for the saucer finished.  Next I’ll move on to the main pylon (neck) and then the engineering hull.

We recently talked about World History, so now let’s jump right into American History with the American Heritage: An Adventure in Liberty CD. As publishing companies and secular historians try to rewrite our country’s history to fit their own agenda, it is a breath of fresh air to see this curriculum hit the field.

The American Heritage Education Foundation, Inc. makes the social studies/civic K-12 lesson plan resource CD available to free to educators. The foundation’s mission is dedicated to the understanding and teaching of our nation’s factual and philosophical heritage to promote constructive citizenship and freedom, unity, progress, and responsibility among our students and citizens. This resource planner implements that mission in a wonderful and beneficial way. The lessons are well written and hold a child’s attention. The activities provided stimulate continued interest and encourage interesting discussions. The program has three levels on elementary, middle school, and high school level. The elementary level is also provided in Spanish. The file format is Adobe Reader .pdf, and they provide a version of Acrobat Reader for installation if you do not have it on your computer. The Acrobat Reader is free and current versions can be downloaded from the Adobe Acrobat Reader web site for future use as updates become available. The material, itself, is written clearly and simple enough that the same basic lesson information is the same across the levels with the activities being a little more involved and covering more in-depth analysis in the higher levels. This makes it ideal for a classroom setting with students having various ability levels and learning needs and for a homeschool setting where there may be several students, but in different grade levels. Instruction can be simultaneous in either setting with modifications made when necessary and activities tailored for ability and grade levels. More importantly, the information is historically accurate and places the emphasis on the key facts that this country was founded by Christian men who planned the government to allow for freedom of religion, but acknowledging that there is a sovereign God who must be our guide in government matters. All of these factors make this a great choice for your lesson plan resource.

As far as accessibility which is very important to most of my readers, the .pdf format is as discussed here before not very accessible for some of my readers who are DeafBlind as I am. Adobe has removed their features that allowed braille access and locked their program down to use only their built-in text-to-speech program which doesn’t allow for braille access. The authors do have all security measures allowed including copying for accessibility which allows you to copy the text to Word which allows for some braille text access. The majority of the document is text in this case, so that is a great help for DeafBlind users. You will be able to get use of the product with a little bit of manipulation of the text. I appreciate the authors allowing that copy ability. The lack of alternate text tags for the images will present a small problem for all blind and deafblind users. The authors didn’t set up the file for accessibility at all within the Adobe format, so this can present problems even for the built-in reader. It is a simple problem to correct by labeling alternate text tags for the images and specifying language for all the text along with a few other simple corrections. I certainly hope they will do so to make it easier for text-to-speech reading to be correct and ease the transition to Word for braille use. Overall, the authors are commended for making the effort toward some accessibility.

The American Heritage Education Foundation also provides additional resources to further enhance their An Adventure in Liberty program on their website at http://www.americanheritage.org . Check them out for information on how to order the CD resource, as well. Wynfield Christian Academy will definitely be adding it to their curriculum resources for American History and Civics instruction. I don’t think anyone can go wrong with trying this program for instilling a God-based and historically accurate foundation for our American Heritage into our children. Our next generation really needs this kind of background to help keep America on a straight path as a God-fearing nation.

While many groups and organizations today claim to be “Satanic”, only the philosophy practiced by the members of the Church of Satan and those who adhere to The Satanic Bible can rightfully be called Satanists. Once again to think the accomplishments of Allee, Aquino, Vera, or Blackwood mean nothing is simply arrogant and shows us the example of how The Church of Satan pretends to be elite and offers up little other than the rants of a long dead “Carnival Showman” and his inheritors who can barely muster a Satanic Ideology. All others are merely variations of Christian Heretics and devil worshipers. Given the recent upsurge in alleged ritual abuse, now more than ever, it is essential that only one definition of Satanism be accepted. Lets revisit Anton La Vey and his falsehoods once again to expose the falsehood of The Church of Satan courtesy of various authorship. This information can be found on www.templesofsatan.com Myth 1. His name was actually Anton Szandor LaVey. “Anton Szandor LaVey” was not his birth name, in fact it was actually  “Howard Stanton Levey”. [SOURCES: Birth certificate 4/11/1930, Cook County, Illinois. Confirmed by relatives.] Myth 2.  Anton LaVey and the people who follow his  “philosophy” are the “real” Satanists, while the Satanic killers like the Mansons and the Night Stalker Killer are just the “nuts”. The truth is, LaVey prescribed rituals for Satanists that normal people would find crazy. For instance, a nude girl is used as an altar (Satanic Bible, Satanic Rituals). A human skull is used in Die Elektrischen Vorspiele ritual (Satanic Rituals, p. 109). A human leg bone or arm bone is used in Homage to Tchort ritual (p.137). A woman dressed as nun urinates before group into a bedpan in the Black Mass ritual (p.43). The urine is then sprinkled like holy water (p.44). A man climbs into coffin with nude woman (or nude man if he is gay) in Le Epais ritual (p.59). LaVey gives instructions for “turning into a werewolf” that include running around outside on all fours with a wolf mask (The Devil’s Notebook) . LaVey claimed nuts were quickly given “the bum’s rush” when they tried to join his Church of Satan. That still didn’t stop two of the Masons (Susan Atkins and Bobby Beaseliel) and Richard “The Night Stalker ” Rameriez from joining. Satanist Patricia Hall was arrested for murder of an elderly man in Florida, and participated in the flogging and gang rape of a teenage girl. She claimed to have been baptized by LaVey himself, which he of course later denied.  There have also been other thrill killers that have claimed to have been members of the Church of Satan, even though LaVey later deined it. Even if they weren’t officially CoS members (most Satanist aren’t), it proves criminally minded, violent people are attracted to Satanism. Susan Atkins actually appeared with LaVey and a couple of other girls in a corny strip club act. She played a vampire, not surprising when you consider she licked the blood stained knife she killed Sharon Tate and her unborn child with.  Bobby Beausoleil appeared in the movie by fellow Church of Satan member Kenneth Anger, Lucifer Rising. During the Tate/Labianca murders, Beausoleil told his terrified vicitms, “I’m the Devil, and I’m here to do the Devil’s business!” A fourth  killer/cannibal, Stanley Baker,  who actually ate his victims, was caught en route to meet LaVey. Would LaVey have given this 3rd person the heave ho? Maybe, Maybe not. LaVey claimed that he too,  and members of the Church of Satan, once dined on a human leg (Satan Wants You, also mentioned in The Church of Satan and The Secret Life of a Satanist). The leg was obtained (obviously illeagally) by a CO$ member who was a pathologist from  a local hospital, at least according to LaVey. No LaVey family member has ever denied this event happened. The leg was prepared by Diane in Triple Sec with fried grub worms on the side, supposedly how they serve human flesh in New Guinea. The only participant who reportedly ate the worms was LaVey’s 3 year old daughter Zeena, and most members were to sqeemish to actually eat the leg meat. See the Occult Crime webpage and you’ll notice a disproportionate number of crimes commited by Satanists. There’s a reason for that, and it can’t be dismissed as “Satanic panic”. Myth 3. LaVey claimed his parents were Joseph and Augusta LaVey. They were actually named Michael and Gertrude Levey. He probably lied about their real names to cloud his uneventful past. LaVey claimed he was introduced to the Dark Side by his Transylvanian Gypsy grandmother, who regaled him as a child with supernatural folklore and tales of vampires and werewolves. But his grandmother was not Transylvanian nor of Gypsy stock. She was a Ukrainian named Cecile Luba Primokov-Coulton (”Coulton” was Anglicized from “Koltonoff”). Despite his frequent claims, ASL had no Gypsy ancestry. Gypsies are very clannish people, and seldom marry non-Gypsies. [SOURCES: Relatives, including ASL's parents. King of The Gypsies by Richard Maas] Myth 5.  In 1945 the 15-year-old ASL was brought to the ruins of postwar Germany by his uncle, a U.S. Coast Guard officer. There the teenaged ASL was shown top-secret films inspired by Satanic cult lodges and their rituals. ASL claimed that the “German” rituals in his 1972 book  The Satanic Rituals were actual transcripts of the filmed rituals he saw as a youth. In fact, little Howie spent the entirety of 1945 in suburban northern California, and never visited Germany at any time in his life. The uncle who he claimed brought him to Germany was incarcerated at McNeill Island Penitentiary for involvement with Al Capone-related criminal activity during 1945, and was never even in the armed forces. Allied martial law forbade U.S. citizens from visiting postwar Germany. The “German” rituals in The Satanic Rituals are written in extremely poor, Anglicized German. They are clearly uncredited adaptations of the short story _The Hounds of Tindalos_ by Frank Belknap Long and H.G. Wells’ famous novel  The Island of Dr. Moreau. The 15-year-old ASL played second oboe with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, making him the youngest musician ever to play with that prestigious institution. There was in fact, no “San Francisco Ballet Orchestra” in 1945. The San Francisco Ballet was accompanied by a local orchestra, whose records show that none of its three oboists was named “Levey” or “LaVey”. [SOURCES: San Francisco Performing Arts Library & Museum, San Francisco, California. ] Myth 7. In 1947 ASL ran away from home and joined the Clyde Beatty Circus. The Circus employed the 17-year-old as a lion tamer. He then replaced the Circus calliope player, accompanying such famous Beatty acts as the Concellos, Harold Alanza, and the Cristianis. But the reality is, the voluminous Beatty archives show no record of a “Levey” or “LaVey” as lion tamer or musician. The Concellos, Alanza, and Cristianis were never Beatty performers; they worked exclusively for the Ringling Brothers Circus. [SOURCES: Beatty 1947 Route Books, Circus World Museum, Baraboo, Wisconsin (Wright, "SD", page 67); ASL relatives. ] Myth 8. : In 1948 the 18-year-old ASL was engaged to play organ at the Mayan burlesque theater in Los Angeles. There he met a young stripper named Marilyn Monroe, with whom he had a passionate love affair in the period before her rise to film stardom. According to ASL, Monroe had resorted to stripping to pay her rent. As proof of his relationship with Monroe, ASL later showed visitors a copy of Monroe’s famous nude calendar inscribed “Dear Tony, How many times have you seen this! Love, Marilyn”. Guess what? He lied! LaVey never knew Monroe. Monroe intimate Robert Slatzer and Harry Lipton, Monroe’s agent in 1948, have exposed and discredited this tale. Lipton paid Monroe’s expenses, including her rent. Paul Valentine, director of the Mayan Theater, has stated that the Mayan was never a burlesque theater, and that neither Monroe nor ASL ever worked for the Mayan in any capacity. Diane LaVey, ASL’s former wife, has admitted that she forged the “Monroe” inscription on the calendar. ASL’s former publicist Edward Webber claims ASL admitted he never knew Monroe. If you were hoping Satanism could help you get girls (or guys), it can’t. [SOURCES: Diane LaVey, Paul Valentine (Wright, "SD", page #68), Harry Lipton (Aquino-Lipton conversation 12/1/82), Robert Slatzer (letter to Aquino 11/27/82), Edward Webber (interview by Aquino 6/2/91). ] Myth 9.  ASL was exposed to the savagery of human nature during his stint as a San Francisco Police photographer in the early 1950s.  The San Francisco Police Department past employment records include no “Howard Levey” nor “Anton LaVey”. Frank Moser, who was a SFPD photographer in the early 1950s, said that ASL never worked for the Department. In the snuff film Death Scenes, the narator mentions LaVey was given a book of crime scene photos by a police photographer friend, which is probably how LaVey conned people into believeing he himself had been a police photographer. ASL studied criminology at San Francisco City College during the Korean War.  SFCC has no record of ASL’s enrollment at any time. LaVey was, in fact, a high school dropout who never attended college or even earned his G.E.D. (And sorry, reading a bunch of books doesn’t count as a college education). [SOURCES: SFCC records (Wright, "SD", page 68). ] Myth 11. Anton LaVey is often refered to as “Dr. LaVey”.  LaVey never actually earned a doctorate, he simply awarded himself a “Doctorate of Satanic Theology”. The Church of Satan was not authorized to grant degrees by the State of California, so it was about like anyone  awarding themselves any type of degree they felt qualified for. Or it’s like buying a $29.95 “Doctor of Divnity” degree from the Universal Life Church. The degree was not a genuine college degree, and actually worthless other than as a novelty item, or to impress non-critical youung readers. LaVey in fact never attended college, but was a high school dropout, as mentioned. You could download the faux “Doctor of Demonology” degree from the equally faux Miskatoic University on the homepage, and it would have the same academic value. Myth 12. LaVey did not actually claim to believe in magic. This is a myth atheistic Satanist believe in. The reality is, the Satanic Bible gave very specific details about how to casr spells to make them effective. LaVey detailed timing, imagery, clothing, the balance factor, which Enochian key to use for what purpose, etc., LaVey also warned Satanist to always acknowledge the things that they had gained by magic, or else they would lose them. In the Devil’s Notebook, there’s a chapter about how to make Satanic Magic work. LaVey seemed to eschew mysticism, but also endorse it. In his ghost written autobiography, The Secret Life of a Satanist, Lavey mentions a mysterous strecth of California highway where he “saw something large and black crawling sideways like a crab”. He claimed after Jayne Mansfield’s death, a lightbulb blew out and his wife saw a ghostly pink heart. Anothert time, he crawled under a theater that was about to be torn down, and saw “unearthly things” like demons, and got out when he saw something flying toward him. He also claimed that as a child electrical equipment malfunctioned whenever daughter Zeena was around. Clearly, his view was ambiguous at best. Myth 13. LaVey treated the members of the Church of Satan kindly and was unjustly stabbed in the back by many of them. The reality is LaVey routinely blackmailed members of the Church of Satan, according to defector P.E.I. Bonewitz, whom LaVey called a “not-so-sour-grapes authority” in the Devil’s Notebook. It seems it was LaVey who was doing the backstabbing. [SOURCE: Real Magic by P.E.I. Bonewitz] Myth 14.  The Church of Satan was a body of open minded and tolerant individuals. Defector P.E.I. Bonewitz noted most of the members of the Church of Satan were racists. LaVey seemed at first to welcome homosexuals, Jews, blacks, and anyone else into his church in the 1960’s who had cash to join. But by the 80’s, LaVey was writing to appeal to Neo-Nazis and KKK members, as The Church of Satan and The Secret Life of a Satanist indicate. LaVey supposedly accepted a membership in the National Resistance Party ( a Neo-Nazi Group) in 1970, according to defector Michael Aquino. In 1979 the NRP  staged  a rally marking the 10th aniversary of the “sacrifice” of Sharon Tate by Charles Manson, in which the daughter Zeena read from the Satanic Bible. Zeena herself seems to be anti-Semetic from some of her online writings (who do you think she learned it from) and is married to a Manson follower named Nicholas Shrek. Aquino’s break away group, The Temple of Set, is disturbinbgly facinated with Nazism. The Satanic movement seems to attract a very high percentage of racists and Neo-Nazis. {SOURCES Real Magic by P.E.I. Church of Satan defector’s have noted LaVey never really made his position on the Devil’s existence clear. Michael Aquino for instance said at times LaVey seemed to say Satan was a dark force of nature, and at other times he seemed to talk as though he believed the Devil were a personification – - even referring to him as “the man downstairs”. His position seems ambiguous at best. [SOURCE: Crystal Tablet of Set by Michael Aquino] Myth 16.  ASL purchased the house at 6114 California Street (which would later become the headquarters of the Church of Satan – the infamous “Black House”) because he discovered on first inspection that it was the former brothel of Barbary Coast madam Mammy Pleasant. The house was honeycombed with trapdoors and secret passageways, built by Pleasant to elude police raids. The fact is  6114 was actually ASL’s parents’ home. It was never a brothel, nor did Mammy Pleasant ever live or work there. ASL’s parents first allowed ASL and his first wife Carole to live in the house, then transferred ownership of it to ASL and his second wife Diane in 1971. Such secret passages and hidden rooms that exist were constructed by ASL. Myth 17.  In the 1950s ASL traveled to Nice, France, where he recorded an album of organ music under the pseudonym of “Georges Montalba”. The fact is LaVey’s first and only trip to France was in the mid-1970s, when his Dutch disciple Maarten Lamers, Amsterdam sex club owner, financed his voyage. The “ASL=Montalba” story appeared in 1989, when a gullible Church of Satan member found a Montalba album and suggested that it was similar to ASL’s own music. ASL, never pleased by competition, responded with the preposterous “pseudonym” claim – which is still ardently supported by his posthumous followers.Georges Montalba (or George Montalba) was the psuedonym used by pipe organist Robert Hunter, a resident of Glendale, CA. In 1958 Hunter/Montalba recorded Pipe Organ Favorites & Fantasy in Pipe Organ and Percussion at  Lorin Whitney Studios.  He later went on to work with George Burns and Carol Channing on broadway, in addition to working with Leopold Stokowski, Shirely Temple, Eleanor Roosevelt, Nelson Eddy, Judy Garland, Two Popes,  and John & Jacquelyn Kennedy to name a few! His career spanned 60 years! He was a Christian, too, by the way! Even though Hit Thing records has re-issued Montalba’s album complete with liner notes and an explanation of the LaVey/Montalba hoax, the CoS (at this writing) is still apparently promoting the lie LaVey was Montalba (along with many other lies)!   [SOURCES: Hit Thing Records, Diane LaVey, Zeena LaVey,] Myth 18.  ASL was the official city organist for San Francisco until 1966, playing for gala events such as government banquets and political meetings.  The fact is San Francisco has never had an “official city organist”! According to ASL’s first wife Carole, his only income of $29.91/week was generated by his regular engagement at the “Lost Weekend” nightclub, where he was the house Wurlitzer organist. Carole LaVey's divorce proceeding records (Wright, "SD", page 68).] Myth 19.  On the night of April 30, 1966 (the German Satanic festival of Walpurgisnacht), ASL in a “blinding flash” declared himself the High Priest of Satan, proclaimed that the Age of Satan had begun, and founded the Church of Satan as a religious institution. The fact is In 1966 ASL supplemented his income by presenting weekend lectures on exotic and occult topics, and by conducting “Witches’ Workshops”. He charged $2 a head, filling his living room with the curious and establishing a local reputation as an eccentric. Professional publicist Edward Webber suggested to ASL that he “would never make any money by lecturing on Friday nights for donations … it would be better to form some sort of church and get a charter from the State of California … I told Anton at the time that the press was going to flip out over all this and that we would get a lot of notoriety”. In the summer of 1966, long after the fictional founding-date invented later, a newspaper article about ASL’s lectures offhandedly referred to him as “priest of the Devil’s church”. This mixture of Webber’s idea and the newspaper’s characterization resulted in the creation of the Church of Satan as a business and publicity vehicle. Jack Webb, a San Francisco Police investigator who knew ASL from the “Lost Weekend” nightclub, also suggested that he should form a church of some kind to exploit his “recondite knowledge”. [SOURCES: Edward Webber (interview by Aquino 6/2/91), Jack Webb, Diane LaVey.] Myth 20.  ASL’s trademark shaved head was the result of a ceremonial head-shaving on April 30, 1966, to formalize his role as High Priest of Satan. This ritual was performed in the tradition of the Yezidi devil-worshipping tribes of Iraq, who had a similar ceremony. LaVey shaved his head in the summer of 1966 due to a light-hearted dare from his wife. The “LaVey look” had nothing to do with the Church of Satan founding nor any mystical meaning attached to it later. Nor do Yezidi “qawwals” (religious teachers) shave their heads. Edmonds, A Pilgrimage to Lalish, Royal Asiatic Society, 1967.] Myth 21  In 1966 ASL personally designed the Baphomet emblem of the Church of Satan. He owns the right to this design, claiming it cannot be reproduced without obtaining licensing rights from the Church of Satan. The Baphomet emblem used by the Church of Satan was neither original to it nor created by ASL, hence cannot be trademarked. The original Baphomet dates at least as far back as the medieval Knights Templar. The artwork for the current emblem’s goat/pentagram first appears in a 1931 book by Oswald Wirth. The complete emblem with the added circles and “LVYThN” Hebrew letters appears on the cover of a book by Maurice Bessy two years before the creation of the Church of Satan. Early photos of Church activities often show ASL or his disciples using the Bessy book as a photo-prop because of its prominent cover with Baphomet, and he included that book in his Compleat Witch bibliography. The Baphomet, including this rendition of it, is clearly in the public domain. Hilton, Sex and the Occult, Vol. I, Los Angeles: Centurion Press, 1974;Church of Satan members, The Black Flame (a 1980s Church of Satan magazine).] Myth 22  LaVey served as technical advisor for the 1968 Roman Polanski film Rosemary’s Baby, and also played the curiously-uncredited part of the Devil in that film. LaVey actually had no involvement with Rosemary’s Baby! Polanski’s close friend Gene Gutowski (original producer of the film) stated that there was no technical advisor, nor did ASL ever even meet Polanski. Producer William Castle, who details all aspects of the film’s production in his autobiography, never mentions ASL. He does describe Polanski’s diligence in basing the film exactly on the Ira Levin novel from which it was adapted, eliminating any need for technical advice. The father of the actress who played Mia Farrow’s body-double in the Devil scene recalled that a young, very slender professional dancer played the part, dressed in a small rubber suit. In 1971 this suit was acquired by Studio One Productions in Louisville, Kentucky, for use in a low-budget horror film Asylum of Satan. Michael Aquino, technical advisor for that film, examined the suit and concluded that the 200-pound, 6-foot ASL could not possibly have worn it. [The suit was worn by a girl in the Asylum film.] Not a single member of the cast or crew of Rosemary’s Baby has ever mentioned ASL’s involvement. In 1968 a San Francisco theater did ask ASL to make an appearance at the film’s local opening as a promotional event. This appears to have been ASL’s only connection with the film that engendered the 1960s’ popular interest in Satanism.   Aside from a couple of documentaries (Witchcraft ‘70 and Satanis) the only horror movies LaVey seems to have actually had a hand in was a 1990’s snuff film called Death Scenes, and The Devil’s Rain (1975), which was a movie LaVey never seemed to mention or reccomend in his writings. The film was a box office flop, and the distributor actually went bankrupt because of it! Prior to that, they had big success with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Deep Throat. Anton and Diane LaVey both had bit parts in the film. The Devil’s Rain had rituals taken word for word out of The Satanic Bible and The Satanic Rituals and no doubt further convinced some Church of Satan members LaVey had indeed “sold out”. The Church of Satan broke up the same year as the movie’s release. The plot was about a 300 year old Satanic cult leader (played by Ernest Borgnine) that turned his followers into souless zombies, who followed him blindly. The zombie followers got destroyed in the end, while he escaped unharmed, laughing. Perhaps the reason LaVey wanted to forget the film was it showed how he really thought of people who followed him! Aquino (COS, page #17, TNT Monstervision episode featuring The Devil's Rain in 1997 with Joe Bob Briggs).] Myth 23.  Jayne Mansfield, Hollywood sex symbol and actress, was a card-carrying Satanist and had an affair with ASL. Publicity agent Tony Kent, an associate of Ed Webber, arranged the meeting between Mansfield and ASL as a publicity stunt.  She was never serious about Satanism. ASL was smitten with the actress. Mansfield, who made no secret of her many affairs, denied knowing ASL intimately, and no associate of hers has ever confirmed any supposed romance with ASL. In a 1967 interview she said, “He had fallen in love with me and wanted to join my life with his. It was a laugh.” According to ASL’s publicist Edward Webber, Mansfield would ridicule her Satanic suitor by calling from her Los Angeles home and seductively teasing him while her friends listened in on the conversation. ASL’s public claims that he had an affair with Mansfield began only after Mansfield’s death in an automobile accident, which he also claimed was the result of a curse he had placed on her lover Sam Brody. A common trick used by sorcerers is to later claim some misfortune that befell an enemy was a result of a curse, even though no curse was thrown. ASL wrote the Satanic Bible, his principal work, to fulfill his congregation’s need for a scriptural guide. The Satanic Bible was actually conceived as a commercial vehicle by paperback publisher Avon Books. Avon approached ASL for some kind of Satanic work to cash in on the Satanism & witchcraft fad of the late 1960s. Pressed for material to meet Avon’s deadline, ASL resorted to plagiarism, assembling extracts from an obscure 1896 tract – Might is Right by Ragnar Redbeard into a “Book of Satan” for the SB, and claiming its authorship by himself. [Ironically these MiR passages are the ones most frequently quoted by ASL disciples.] Another third of the SB consists of John Dee’s “Enochian Keys”, taken directly but again without attribution from Aleister Crowley’s Equinox. The SB’s “Nine Satanic Statements”, one of the Church of Satan’s central doctrines, is a paraphrase, again unacknowledged, of passages from Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged. The last words in the SB – “Yankee Rose” – have been puzzled over for years by readers. “YR” is actually the name of an old popular tune in ASL’s nightclub repertoire. Myth 25. ASL claimed that at the height of the Church of Satan’s popularity there were hundreds of thousands of formal members. But Diane LaVey (who administered the Church as High Priestess 1966-1984), Michael A. Aquino (senior Magister of the Church and Editor of its Cloven Hoof newsletter 1971-1975), and Zeena LaVey (High Priestess of the Church 1985-1990) have all affirmed that the figures claimed by ASL were grossly exaggerated. The membership of the Church of Satan never exceeded 300 individuals, several of whom were nonmember subscribers to the newsletter or ASL friends receiving complimentary mailings. LaVey would make reporters wanting to write stories about the Church of Satan join and pay the $20 membership fee, furthering the membership numbers. [SOURCES: Diane LaVey, Michael A. Satan Wants You, Arthur Lyons] Myth 26.  ASL claimed to be a multimillionaire, owning three homes in northern California, a convent in Italy, a chateau in France, a fleet of luxury automobiles, a 185-foot yacht, three salvage ships, and other property. LaVey initally claimed he made $50,000 a year during the Church of Satan’s heydey, and even that figure is probably exaggerated. During Diane [LaVey] Hegarty’s 1988-91 lawsuit against ASL, and ASL’s subsequent 1991 filing for bankruptcy, ASL stipulated under oath that he owned nothing more than 50% of the house his parents had given jointly to him and Diane, along with the personal items he kept therein. Even though apologists claim LaVey lived “comfortably” in his final years, the facts speak otherwise! The CoS website claims (at this writing) LaVey made “five figures” the last year of his life, in typical doublespeak. “Five figures” could be as little as $10,000. ASL’s final years were subsidized by California state aid (next time you see someone pay at the grocery store with WIC or food stamps, think of Anton LaVey). Assessors declared the house to be in such poor repair as to be nearly worthless on the real estate market. Family members have attested to the fact that by the mid-1970s the LaVeys lived in near-poverty, frequently having to rely upon ASL’s father’s generosity. According to other LaVey relatives, ASL continued to rely on handouts from friends and relatives until the end of his life. In the 1990’s, it was revealed LaVey’s teeth had rotted out, a common aliment of people who live in poverty.  [SOURCES: Hegarty v. See The Fates of Famous Occultists to see dying in poverty is a common trait of occultists! Myth 27  ASL was a close friend of Sammy Davis, Jr. and inducted him into the Church of Satan. Sammy Davis, Jr. was invited to accept an honorary membership in the Church of Satan by Michael Aquino. After Davis sent Aquino his acceptance on March 17, 1973, he was presented with the honorary membership on April 13, 1973 by Aquino and Karla LaVey alone. ASL did not meet Davis until August 1973. Davis would later renounce Satanism, claiming later he was "only into it for the chicks" and re-embraced Judaism. At a nationaly televised event honoring him a few weeks before he died, Davis said "First of all, I want to thank Jesus for letting me be here tonight", completely shattering any doubt he had any lingering affinty to Satanism. Reality was quite differnt. ASL violently beat his wife Diane throughout their marriage. In 1984 a police report was made describing Diane being strangled into unconsciousness by ASL, who was in such a murderous rage that his daughter Karla had to pull him off Diane and drag her outside the house to save her life. ASL routinely physically beat and abused those of his female disciples with whom he had sex, forcing them into prostitution as part of his “Satanic counseling” and collecting their earnings. In 1986 ASL was a passive witness to the sexual molestation of his own grandson by a longtime friend who was later convicted of sex crimes with minors. In 1990 ASL informed a mentally-ill stalker of his daughter Zeena of her whereabouts and the time & location of a public appearance she was scheduled to make, deliberately endangering her life. ASL had a deeply affectionate relationship with Togare, his pet lion.While ASL was always careful to portray himself to the public as an animal lover, in private he was cruel to and neglectful of his pets. When he was given Togare as a cub in 1964, he was ill-equipped to deal with such an exotic, wild animal despite his pretensions as a circus lion-tamer. As Togare became larger and more unruly, ASL frequently used an electric cattle prod to hurt and frighten him into submission. Many animal-rights proponents, including Togare’s final owner Tippi Hedren, agree that it is detrimental to a wild animal’s development to be raised in a domestic environment. ASL was arrested due to Togare’s unruly behavior, and ASL was ordered to donate him to the San Francisco Zoo. After complying, ASL made only two visits to Togare. Due to the trauma of his early life, Togare needed special care at the Zoo and at every animal-care facility in which he subsequently lived. ASL had a deeply affectionate relationship with his other pets. In the late 1960s ASL acquired a Doberman Pinscher (Loki) as an accent to his “sinister” image. ASL never took the time to housebreak or train Loki, and relegated him to the overgrown and unkempt backyard of the house, regardless of weather. If Loki ever tried to slip into the house for shelter, ASL routinely used Togare’s cattle-prod on him to terrify him back outside. In his old age Loki developed such severe arthritis that he could not climb the stairs to the back door to eat, and began wasting away from malnutrition. ASL then gave him to one of his prostitute “students”, who at least saw that Loki had a warm, inside home until he died a few months later. During her young childhood ASL’s daughter Zeena once awoke late at night to hear slamming sounds and the shrieking of her German Shepherd puppy. Running downstairs, she saw ASL savagely beating the cowering, cornered dog with a wooden plank. When Zeena begged ASL to stop and asked him what the dog had done to deserve such treatment, ASL screamed, “She won’t listen to me! I’m going to force her to obey me!” ASL continued beating the dog until her face was covered with her blood, then dropped the plank and left the dog quivering in the hallway, so injured and frightened that she wouldn’t let even Zeena come near her. This incident left the dog traumatized for a long time afterwards.[SOURCES: Diane LaVey, Zeena LaVey.] Myth 31. Anton LaVey was a bastion against religious hypocrisy. While LaVey’s rants about Christian hypocrites throughout his books, he fails to realize that there are more than just hypocrites – - people who fail to practice what they preach – - that make up Christianity! Just because there are hypocrites doesn’t mean there are no real Christians who try to live their lives as their supposed to. You can find examples of hypocrites in just about anything, not only Christianity. For instance, everyone knows obesity and smoking are bad, but how many times have you seen an RN that’s overweight or a smoker, or both? Does that mean you should ditch medical treatment forever more because some hypocrites exist in it? LaVey simply created a strawman of a Christianity no one would like, created from his onw one dimensional view of it, in which every Christian was a hypocrite.  LaVey made it appear to non-critical readers that Satanism was an alternative to hypocrisy. LaVey himself, was an enormous hypocrite, exaserbated by the fact that he claimed to hate hypocrisy! A look at the myths already presented here show that he was indeed a hypocrite. Perhaps the biggest hypocrisy was his disdain for asceticsm in The Sanatic Bible, but when he had to live in poverty, tried to conceal the fact by saying he was eschewing commercial materialism for asceticism (hipocrisy on top of a lie)! He was also a hypocrite for claiming to abhor charity, but lived on state assiatance and handouts from friends nad family members (i.e., charity!). LaVey was too proud and and to lazy to get a regular job (i.e., he thought he was better than you). Even LaVey couldn’t live his own Satanic philosophy. Myth 32 On ASL’s original death certificate the date of his demise was recorded as October 31, 1997 (Halloween). An official investigation by the City of San Francisco determined that ASL’s actual date of death was October 29, 1997 and that the “Halloween” date had been illegally written on the document, apparently in a last pathetic attempt to make him look sinister. It’s been alleged daughter Karla was the culprit. Satanism is really just “atheism” or “humanism”, because it’s the worship of the self; it’s for people who can stand on their own two feet!  Satanism isn’t “humanism” or “atheism”, it’s just a juvenile way to shock and alienate people, nothing else. That’s why this or that rock star claims to be a Satanist when they’re really not…just to shock people and make their CD’s the forbidden fruit that a rebellious pubescent wants. Think about it, how many millionaire rosck stars gave money to save the LaVey house when it was slated for demolition? None. That’s because they don’t really care about Satanism. A self proclaimed 20 y.o. Satanist in Queens, NY was beat up by some neighborhood teens in 2005. The Satanist in question dressed like it was Hallowe’en every day, had blue dyed hair, black painted fingernails and wore make up (plus he made sure everyone knew he was a Satanist).  Now Satanists want the altercation he got into labeled a “hate crime”. Satanists supposedly deal in brutal reality and cold logic. Wouldn’t the cold hard truth be this kid wanted to shock people, wanted people to hate him, and has himself at least to partly blame for what he got?  Wouldn’t have been logical for this kid, seeing how he had run ins with the same teens before, to have toned down his image? Satanism is embraced by people like that angry kid that hated everybody and sat alone in the lunchroom that no one talked to. It’s embraced by the racist stoner that’s in and out of jail. It’s embraced by the psychotic off his medication who listens to the voices in head. It’s not for the succesful self made man who “stands on their own two feet”. LaVey never wanted people who could “stand on their own two feet”, as he claimed, nor could he get any. Talk about unamed Senators or Congressmen or heads of corporations offered as “proof” Satanism attracts successful people is just that…talk. If they could name names, they would. LaVey lied about his achievments, making himself sound like Indiana Jones, a lion tamer, a criminologist, a world traveler, a lover of two movie stars, and a millionaire. Satanists who feel inadequate in their one lives make up for it by living through LaVey vicariously, rather than trying to improve themselves. Satanism is in fact a personality cult centered around Anton LaVey. A look at the documentary Satanis The Devil’s Mass shows LaVey assembled a collection of misnatrhopes, perverts, and lonely middle aged losers going through mid-life crisis who needed someone to follow. In the movie, daughter Karla says her father told her on numerous occasions not to go downstairs to the meetings because the Satanists were “crazy”. Even LaVey thought Satanists were weird. The only people who follow him are angry at the world, and at Christians in particular. Though this won’t come as a surprise to anyone who knows me that I’m doing it, I didn’t intend to build a TOS Enterprise mesh in 2009.  (I *almost* made it.)  However, ScifiEric had to release his Enterprise with all those great modeled details and the great textures and my resolve was destroyed.  I’ve tried to be happy with my 2008 Enterprise mesh but it looks so crappy to me.  And it looks even worse since I raided Eric’s Enterprise reference gallery (it’s huge) the other day.  I thought it was pretty accurate, but I’ve seen a lot of details that I either missed or got wrong.  Hence, the new build.

I started on this yesterday and worked on it a little bit but I had some work to do and I watched some movies, but I got some more done today.  I’m modeling every detail I can, even if they’re not on the blueprints.  Though I’m using Sinclair’s blueprints, so most of the details are there.  One thing I’m doing that’s debatable whether it’s correct or not is the symmetrical saucer section windows.  I like those better than the asymmetrical windows, which the 11-foot model (the model on which I’m mostly basing this) had.  However, they flipped the model images enough times to make it seem like the port side was completed and the 33-inch model had symmetrical windows.  Another thing I’ll be doing is working shuttlebay doors which will be based on the doors for the shuttlebay interior miniature set from the show, not the outer “doors,” which won’t work as they’re supposed to.

Anywho, this is where I’m at right now.  I’m in no kind of hurry on this one but things are progressing at a good pace so far.  I’m finishing the details on a part before moving on to the next part.  Also, I’m not that worried about polygon count on this mesh, the Enterprise usually doesn’t get that high anyway.  I want a smooth mesh, not necessarily a low poly one.
