Its that time of year – just about all of us know someone graduating from high school. The question is – what to give as a thoughtful and fun graduation gift?
Of course there are many options..the ever popular towel wrap comes to mind, cute and practical – but what about supplying the graduate with a monogramed set of towels instead? You can find really nice ones as Costco and then take to your local monogram shop, who doesn’t want nice new fluffy towels to perk up those drap dorm bathrooms?
It seems anything monogramed these days makes a great gift, I suggest going to the trouble to do a three letter monogram, the single initial looks so generic, giving a gift with their full monogram says you put a lot of time and planning into the gift. There are many options besides just towels of course..why not spa slippers? stationary? a cute tote bag or laundry bag?
Of course if you know where the graduate is headed, and by now most seniors do..you can pick out a cute gift with the collegiate license of their school. Our personal favorite right now is the game day case! (see photo) – Many of us don’t want to “scream” our team spirit, but with the game day case you can have a fun and trendy iPhone and show your school pride, win -win!

As the clouds conspired
And the winds hurled up ,
As the trees swayed
And the dust blowed ,
As people rushed to safety
And lovers waited in anticipation…

I thought..

It would surely rain here …
Will it rain there as well??

As the skies poured down
And the winds lashed hard ,
As the drops drenched me
And the wind blew my hair ,
As umbrellas let go
And huge drops pricked my face ..

I wondered..

Its raining here ..
Is it raining there as well??

As I walk back home
Getting drenched in the rain
And I hear the music
That the drops have made
As my wet clothes outline my body
And my thoughts race
As fast as the wind

I ask myself ..

Its raining here …
Is it raining there as well ??

A hot shower , a cup of coffee
Wet hair and a towel wrap
I think of you
I know ,I think in vain
Lots of thoughts
And a bit of pain …
Couldn’t it be just me , you and the rain ?

I sighed ,

It had rained here …
Did it rain there as well ???

If bathing your newborn has left you stressed, wet, and with a towel clenched between your teeth, then you must try maamam’s aacua towel wrap.

aacua is THE new generation bath towel that transforms bath time with your children into a more relaxing, safe, and fun experience!

The 4-in-1 aacua is a supremely soft and versatile towel: it serves as an apron to keep you dry while bathing baby, a towel for drying, a baby wrap to keep your baby safe and warm, and a bath wrap for toddlers. And, it is 100% cotton terry with a clean and stylish design.

It is a great new invention that will last you from birth to toddler years. Use it as an apron to keep yourself dry and your hands free while bathing baby (especially when bath time becomes more exciting with bubbles and splashing). After the bath, simply unsnap aacua from around your neck and wrap the baby in this hooded towel. No more accidents or worrying about baby going “under” while you fish and reach for that towel. Use aacua as a wrap for infants, or as a robe as they grow into toddlers. It really does last for years!

Unlike most baby towels that are thin and flimsy, aacua is thick, soft, absorbent and comforting. accua makes the perfect gift for parents-to-be, and will be definitely make life much easier for nervous first time moms!

So, are you sold on getting your own accua or know of any expecting moms who might love this multi-purpose life-saver? aacua is available in white cotton terry with a choice of yellow, orange, pink or teal trim. Get it now at www.StarfishKid.com with free personalization for a limited period!

While waiting for my nails to dry,
(not fixing the towel starting to unwrap
from my hair, opening the bathroom door
using only my palm and the lower halves
of my fingers)
I think of Sabbath.

The rest of my roommates still asleep,
my own body fully awake, stomach growling
for protein, I want to learn to live
with less aggression.

Or do the broken spokes on my back tire
speak of something different?
Am I gentle?

My mother is watching kids in the nursery now,
my father is teaching Sunday school.
Lyndsay is drinking her Dunkin Donuts latte.
I am waiting for my nails to dry.

Barely pink, still sticky I can tell,
Loreal says I am wearing the colour of
Satin Sheets. It will be awhile
before I can make my own bed.

God has been teaching me patience
without painkillers.
A bowl of Christmas gummy bears,
pretzel m&m’s and marshmallow santas
shine in the light filtering through
the overhead window.

I have nowhere to be but here.

Refrigerator hum,
nails still wet,
I could be staring at the sun
on the river.
The neighbors move around upstairs.

I wonder what they’re doing
as the towel lets go
of my hair.

Here’s the deal. The new Bed, Bath & Beyond flier came in the mail this week. I made my first

Here’s the deal. The new Bed, Bath & Beyond flier came in the mail this week. I made my first effort to purge my BB&B demons here, but just when I thought I was out…they pull me back in.

That’s right, it’s a whole new round of useless products that I somehow crave. Immediately, the Solar Garden Stakes caught my eye. For $9.99 you can buy a rod that you stick into the ground, atop of which is a fake sunflower plant that, through the miracle of solar power, lights up. I couldn’t help but think, however, that if one wanted something that is both solar powered and looks like a sunflower, one could purchase…a sunflower.

Page 15 features the Towel Wrap. This product is a towel with two straps sewn on so that one can wear the towel like a dress. It’s Snuggie’s less attractive cousin. I suppose it’s designed for all of those women who are always looking for a more absorbent dress. Come on, who hasn’t always wanted to wear a towel around all day…oh, yeah, everybody.

Or, for the low, low price of $19.99 you can have your very own Princess Castle Play Tent. It’s ideal for “indoor/outdoor fun.” Perfect, I love indoor/outdoor fun. Those are two of my favorite types of funs. And just take a look at this photo from the flier –

Could that girl be having anymore indoor/outdoor fun? She’s so happy, it really makes me want to buy myself a Princess Castle Play Tent. Granted, the only difference between this and simply sitting in the grass, is a thin layer of pink plastic, but look at that smile. This thing is awesome!

But my favorite, easily, is the Bananza. Check it out –

Tired of labor-intensive banana slicing? Working your fingers to the bone as you saw through this tropical fruit in preparation of your breakfast cereal? Well, fret no more. The Bananza is here! No more one slice at a time nonsense. Get ready for state-of-the-art banana slicing. This handy tool can save you, literally, tens of seconds over your lifetime.

Who invented this thing? This could be the most useless time saving device I’ve ever seen. It probably takes more time to clean this thing afterwards than the time it saves. Sure, I’ve had my issues with bananas, but slicing them was never the problem. Slicing a banana has never been anyone’s problem in the history of the Universe.

So, how am I going to do it? How will I resist the urge to buy useless products from Beyond? Fortunately, this company is doing its darndest to help me out, by making their products increasingly ridiculous. So, thank you, triple B – the more useless your products become, the easier it is for me to not buy them. Except for, maybe, the Princess Castle Play Tent…dang that thing looks like indoor/outdoor fun.

Looking for the perfect gift for my little baby and my wife and I want it to be unique or personalized so that she’s the only baby who have that when you bring your kid to the mall or just strolling around the park. Just saw this one of a kind and it’s a nap mats preschool for kids and this is a perfect present for your baby especially if they’re already active and crawling inside their playpen. And it’s one of a kind because it seems like those mats are personalized. Having a kid is really fun right? Playing with your kids releases stress (just like me) especially if you just came home from work. But the hardest part here is when you clean up their mess = ). Their wet clothes because of their spilled milk, their mats filled with their poop and pee. It seems that you’ll need a huge laundry bag for this so that you can sort their things and get them ready for laundry. And usually, my wife do the laundry because she’s very keen into details and she always want it stain free and smells good. And after all of the house chores, it’s it feels so good if you’ll take a warm bath to release stress and it’s good for your body. Ah, it seems that I’ve already found what I’m going to give my wife. A comfy towel wrap will do because I think her towel is too old LoL.
