My friend Tracey was just in New York promoting her work. It was a worthwhile effort that garnered her some significant interest. So much so that she’s considering leaving Vancouver to make the Big Apple her home for the next little while. Her book, entitled “Encompass” is now available for purchase. Brilliant stuff. Skim through it from the link I posted. It’s fully loaded. With 112 pages under its hardbound hood it’s well worth the price tag. I’ve just bought myself a copy.

My friend Tracey has a nice little write up on Bali. She landed a pretty sweet gig in New Zealand and was there on a stopover. Go have a peek at her travel blog if you haven’t done so already. I was there a few years ago – Jimabaran, Ubud and Kuta – and included some snaps in a piece I wrote for The Korea Times. I’m itching to go back.

 I have been following Tracey’s work for ages. I love it. Her work has won awards, been published pretty extensively, and graced the walls of several exhibitions. Moody and surreal, it’s amazing. Go check out her stuff at her Flickr site. She’s also a fine travel writer.
