If your company fortunes reversed, resulting in negative cash flow, which can be made for a loan? Wh

If your company fortunes reversed, resulting in negative cash flow, which can be made for a loan? What about pre-profit start-ups to turn? And not everything is lost. There are special credit institutions, companies that do justice to these challenges.

Most lenders avoid companies with a negative cash flow for the obvious reasons of struggle. The credit is the base of borrowers with cash flow sufficient to avoid the debt service and operational needs. The negative cash flow is oftenSigns of deeper problems and provides borrowers usually a big red flag for most lenders.

For some specialty creditor may, however, companies with negative cash flows offer attractive opportunities. What are some of the things that these lenders are looking for the impact of negative cash flow to compensate? The short answer is the power of a combination of credit of other basic elements: a highly talented management team, a history of success working in another way, meaningful activities clear, lowto provide the leverage to turn into a solid plan for cash flow, and / or the ability of the borrower to improve credit quality.

Credit enhancement can take different forms: a commitment of corporate assets, a pledge of personal assets, deposits, guarantees the capital or investors, other companies guarantees or other extensions. These improvements come into play when these special lenders offer the ability to structure transactions that they believe is sufficient disadvantageSecurity to offset the risk of negative cash flow.

Who are these lenders specialize in loans to businesses, with a negative cash flow? Normally, there are some banks in each segment of the loan, serving high-risk borrowers. Corporate Borrowers with negative cash flows often fall into the category of high risk. Financing of these high-risk group typically lend against hard assets such as heavy machinery, vehicles, machinery manufacturing, laboratory and testing equipment and other productsgood after-markets. Some lenders specialize in accounting and credit notes. Looking for a pledge or outright purchase of quality requirements. Other banks with a more general approach. See the complete situation of the debtor and therefore the structure of a transaction aimed at improving the quality of credit. These improvements could provide the customer a cash deposit and an all-asset lien against the company.

In addition to high-risk financing, weLeasing companies are at high risk for firms with a negative cash flow. This approach will rent out their activities in the same way), as high-risk financing, unless the cost of leasing the facility (usually the owner has leased the underlying asset.

To run the risk more, most of the financing in place and landowners seeking greater transaction is proportionate to the risks. It is necessary for high-risk financing lender for several hundred common basePercentage points higher than those of traditional lenders. Some lenders and owners to take the risk even higher. They are ready to receive the market before additional safeguards to decrease the potential for higher returns. Are you looking for efficiency improvements in the form of stock warrants, royalties or other investments. This improved performance is often a price acceptable to borrowers with no one else to turn.

Where to get the loans and land owners, businesseswith negative cash flow? Look for subprime lenders, or whoever is in possession or as high-risk donors. A good way to find these lenders is through referrals from banks, accountants, lawyers and other business associates. In many markets, financial intermediaries actively bring together high-risk borrowers and lenders. It 'also a good place to check your industry association and the associations for the creditors. A final point to consider is on-line. A Google search of subprime lenderslessor or specialize in certain categories of goods, companies with high risk or high risk lender leasing companies typically turn very few sellers.

If your company has a negative cash flow develops, this defeat is not an automatic sentence of purgatory company. May, with a compelling story and the attractiveness or guarantees sufficient to obtain the credit enhancement, you will probably attract lenders willing to help your business. Start an attempt to identify these lending institutions areYour company is willing to tell the story, and willing to negotiate.

The ceramic hub of Morbi-Than was on the verge of closure since the last quarter of 2008. But as of November 2009, as many as 45 new units have come up or are about to start production. Besides the strong domestic market, the withdrawal of various incentives by the Chinese government to its domestic industries has been a boost for the over 500-odd ceramic units here, which account for 60 per cent of India’s ceramic production.

Karshan Adroja, the president of Morbi Tiles Manufacturing Association, said, “Fuelled by domestic and international demands, the ceramic industry has been improving after a bad year.”

The subsidies by Beijing had put the Indian manufacturers in direct competition with their Chinese counterparts on the price factor in the international market. But now, the export figures since the beginning of the second quarter has touched a new high – it is more than double compared to last year.

Hooray! Now that’s out of the way and everyone know’s where I stand, let me continue.

Most energy commodities traded are settled on the basis of a third-party price report. I used to be a price reporter. It’s not a terrible job…except for having to deal with people blatantly trying to manipulate where you end up placing the price all day every day. Your part in the process is to talk to enough people who actually participated in the market (be it gasoline, vacuum gasoil, LPG, benzene, crude oil, natural gas… whatever) on that particular day to be able to throw out the bad data points and post a price accurately reflecting where trades occurred.

Ah, the smirk of repentence. Michelle Valencia, sentenced to 57 months in August 2008

Some days went by quick and easy: no contention, lots of activity = clear price. Other days you’d spend the entire time being threatened, belittled, cajoled, flattered, etc., by people obviously on the ‘wrong’ side of whereever the market was moving. And that’s the thing they never got: how transparent and desperate they were. Anybody doing the price reporting job reasonably well KNOWS where the market is, and no amout of tom-foolery is going to make it anywhere else.

Because of this, when I read Tom Fowler’s article in the Houston Chronicle today and see things like former managing director James Brooks saying: “I am a sinner. If I have caused anyone pain or suffering I pray in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ they forgive me. I made a mistake of listening to another man. I trusted him blindly,” my reaction is “Fuck you. Happy you found ‘Jesus’ because you obviously were unacquainted with him at the time. Maybe he’ll save your ass in the hereafter, but in the meantime go rot in jail. You were a greedy son-of-a-bitch and got what you deserved. You were trying to maximize YOUR paycheck asshole.”

Another El Paso employee, Wes Walton was also found guilty of market manipulation and cried about how long he was going to have to go away for (11 years). Boo-f-ing-hoo. Prosecuters played phone conversations in which Walton used profanity in his attempts to maniupulate price reporters. His post-sentencing response? “I am a good person. I was very embarrassed by the way I sounded on those the tapes. I’m a good father. I believe if you had a chance to meet my sons you’d see I’m not the raving lunatic on those tapes.”

Oh yes you are fuckhead. I never talked to you, but I talked to plenty like you. You’re not being persecuted. Your crime was not victimless. In your attempts to do whatever it took to enrich yourself you artificially inflated the price us common folk you so disdain pay for the energy we need to stay warm and cook our food. Looks like Jr.’s about to join the real world asshole.

He continues: “But I’m a trader, and a trader can’t be successful if they don’t have a lot of confidence in themselves.” I dunno…maybe a trader can be successful by managing his book properly, or keeping something other than his OWN bottom line in mind? Just kind of thinking out loud here.

I like the fact these fucks signed up for substance abuse programs in prison in order to get their sentences shortened. I’m sure if the state offered them the ability lop off another year for denouncing the evils of the market they abused they’d do that too. After all, being willing to say or do anything to advance themselves is what got them where they are.

In an earlier blog entry Mr. Fowler reported the CFTC had gathered $445 million in fines from dozens of companies that took part in the false reporting.

False prices were reported to Platts’ Inside FERC’s Gas Market Report.

Asbestos is a natural mineral extracted. By its nature, long, thin fibers such as cotton, making this a wonderfully useful material, but also make it lethal. The fact that it can be woven like cotton yarn and only served to ensure widespread use. Before 1989, asbestos was used in drywall joint compound, wall treatments textured, vinyl floor tiles, roof tiles, roofing, including roofing, siding, some types of ceilings,Cement, bricks, pipes and electrical insulation, in addition to many applications outside of the building.

Asbestos is still used as building material in China, India and other countries, but has been banned for most uses in the United States since the late 1980s, when the phase of initiation.

What should you do?

The module can be harmful so asbestos siding, do not. However, mere suspicion is on them to scare or kill your prospectsTrade. Even if only that asbestos may be present, shall assume, for this test and, if present, they get clean.
There are two basic ways to deal with asbestos: Remove or seal can not through the air. It is far from a contractor by the state or federal level, EPA has approved theGold standard. However, as many standards-gold is expensive. Seals cost much less and may be appropriate in certain circumstances.

I certainly do not recommend this as a do-it-yourself project.

ATTENTION: Due to the danger of asbestos to health, if you know, you should get is clean. Of course, if you know of his presence, you need to put it bluntly. This is another reason for the problems before setting your house on the market, when there is no more, she can no longer be a problem.

From my book CHILDHOOD MEMOIRS

Goddess Saraswaty’s eldest son Mathematics holds a venerable position in the family followed by Physics. Both are allied like Ram and Laxman.

Later on, came Chemistry and Biology. Alas! Geography and History are just poor cousins! In India our ancestors were too much concerned about Atma and Paramatma to be bothered about such mundane matters like the Mountains and Rivers and the Seas. Even Al Beruni’s India, written after A.D. 1000, contains only sketchy description of a few rivers.

While Alexander the Great sent an expedition to explore the river Indus up to the Sea (Alexander wanted to return to Greece through the seas about which coastal Europeans were acquainted through Sea Traders from the time of Phoenicians; but the attempt failed because of inclement whether and pestilence, to the disappointment of the great Emperor), did any of the Kings who ruled this region afterwards care to do it?

The Chinese marine traders made a map of the known world, including parts of Africa, even two millennia ago. By 18th century Portuguese made comparatively accurate maps, which were kept very secret, in consideration of Trade Wars, even though much of it was destroyed in fire.

Captain Cook was a good Cartographer. He sailed round part of Australia and the New Zealand islands, and the map he made is remarkably accurate. He planted the Union Jack there and on return to England offered the Island on a platter to the Queen! Thus it becomes part of Her Majesty’s Empire!

Indian is much nearer to Australia and N.Z. With such a shore line and good quality wood for the shipping industry, we could have produced great explorers and history would have been different. We just don’t care about geography. How many of us can describe off hand, the States bordering Chattisgarh? Do we have a geographic society like the National Geographic Society (USA) for the Royal Geographic Society (UK) which foots the bill of innumerable expeditions?

Only when the British Rule was established, a comprehensive survey of the land was undertaken. I feel that children should not be taught Geography; they should learn it like their mother tongue. They just cannot read the maps on flat papers. A Geographic park will automatically enliven their interest in the subject. The waste land South of Nizamuddin Bridge to East Delhi is ideally suited for the purpose. The outline of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh can be marked, measuring at least one kilometre, and sand excavated from surrounding “Seas’’ filled in the “subcontinent’’. Thus, Himalayas as high as 20 feet and other mountains of proportionate hight can be made.

By fitting pipelines under the mountains, water can be made to spout from the origin of the rivers to make them “flow’’. Dams and Great Bridges can be made at actual location, along with major Rail routs and National Highway. Green grass can be grown at important grain producing plains. Shrubs can indicate forest. Suitable models of the Gateway of India, Rameshwaram Temple, Charminar etc. can show actual location of the concerned cities and towns. Even Power Plants and Electric grid can be simulated.

A Water Park may be made in the “Seas’’ with Floating Shops and Restaurants. Illuminated by Solar Powered Electricity, the area can became a destination point for Delhi-ites who desperately throng the India Gate in the evenings, for want of something better.

In due course, the “Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean’’ can be dug, leaving contour maps of Africa, America etc. We may think of a Deer Park in Africa and Goshala in America! And what about a Solar System where students can watch the movements of planets and occurrence of eclipses?

After a visit to the Park, children will learn more of Geography, than they can learn in ten years!

Cholesterol is one of the most important words in the field of health claims used in most of America and the rest of the world. Cholesterol is known, good and bad, but the bad news is the responsibility of health conditions that exist and to cause serious chaos the body of people.
Crude oil, which is the lifeblood of the economy, has shown stunning recovery in this year as price

Crude oil, which is the lifeblood of the economy, has shown stunning recovery in this year as prices have merely doubled from low of $35 to nearly $80. Thanks to the dose of economic stimulus packages which revived the global economy to come out of recession and hence the traders sentiments in crude oil turned in favour of bulls. But the million dollar question is that can crude continue this recovery in medium term. But as of now it seems that the speculative upside and downside rally is over which was seen when it rocked higher toward $147 and then plunged to $35. From here on, the key fundamentals of supply and demand will be the driver of crude prices.

In the year 2009 dollar weakness was the prime reason for the swift rally in crude oil prices. As crude oil is considered as other asset class and massive flow of hedge funds supported the crude oil prices.

Stunning recovery worldwide after a severe recession and the improvement in expected GDP figures by IMF also kept bulls interested.

Now as the global economy is slowing limping back to normal which is suggested by various economic indicators but still the skepticism of pace of recovery is questionable which will further guide the crude movements.

It is important to remember that current pricing on crude oil is influenced by world demand, not just U.S. demand. The Asian economies are improving; China’s economy expanded by 8.9% in the third quarter. Global macro economy will be the key driver of the crude oil prices in times to come.

Crude oil is primarily a transportation fuel. So increase in crude oil usage in transportation will get boost as the global economy continue to recover.

Oil has risen by 79 percent this year on signs that global economy is recovering from its worst recession since World War II, stoking fuel demand amid output cuts by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.

OPEC countries kingpin Saudi Arabia, also believes that $75 per barrel is a fair price for both consumers and producers. In September meeting, OPEC members said they were content with the direction in which prices were heading. While voicing worries about high oil stock levels globally, they decided to hold production steady and focus on compliance factor with existing production quotas. The lack of production discipline, however, appears to continue. According to latest OPEC report group’s production averaged 26.52 million barrels per day in October, a 50,000 barrel per day increase from September.

Recently OPEC, supplier of about 35 percent of the world’s crude oil, revised its estimate for 2010 global demand growth by 750,000 barrels or 0.9% to 85.07 million barrels a day. OPEC in September agreed to maintain output quotas at 24.845 million barrels per day, will hold its next meeting in Luanda, Angola, on December 22.

The hurricane season in the US has also remained quite in this year as no major hurricane hit the US refineries. Hurricane season generally starts from June 1 and lasts through November.

In a nutshell crude oil will not see one sided movement and will remain volatile in the year 2010. Dollar index has been under lot of pressure in the year 2009, which has given support to the crude oil prices but as the dollar index is expected to show some recovery in first quarter of 2010 that can exert pressure on crude oil prices.

OECD demand of energy is slated to increase in the year 2010 and will give support to the crude prices. China energy demand is also expected to rise in the year 2010 and that will keep the prices supported.

So overall the prices in the next year can remain in the range of $55-85.

10-10-10 An Investment-Transforming Idea

10 Ideas, 10% Discounts, 10% yield.

Closed-End Funds present investors with an opportunity to take advantage of an inefficient market. By this we mean buying assets at a discount to their Net Asset Value (NAV). Obviously one must consider what the underlying assets of the fund are, but in general purchasing assets at a discount can give you many advantages including:

Increased yield benefit – If you buy an asset at a 10% discount that yields 10%, you attain a 1% yield benefit.

Potential narrowing of discount – If you buy an asset at a 10% discount and the discount narrows to 5% you pocket the difference.

Activism and conversion to Open-End Fund - The potential for activism or open ending can narrow a funds discount, however, investors should not buy a fund solely on this criteria.

Institutional borrowing rates – A funds borrowing costs are less than yours. i.e., If you are looking to margin 20% of your holdings your best bet is to find a fund with 20% leverage as their costs to borrow would be significantly lower than yours.

The screen below is our first 10-10-10. (Click on it to enlarge) We would not just buy these based solely on this criteria, but it’s a good place to start to find value. You can do your own screens for ETFs and CEFs at www.etfdesk.com. Happy Hunting.

In this Nov. 27, 2009 file photo, traders move about the floor of the New York Stock Exchange in New York shortly before the opening bell.

Investors have been hoping for signs that the economy is strong enough to justify continuing Wall Street’s nine-month rally. They got the surest evidence yet Friday when the government said employers cut fewer jobs in November than at any time since the recession began in late 2007.

But the good news is making many investors uneasy. Traders are asking whether the strengthening economy will lead the Federal Reserve to start raising rates or scale back its stimulus measures, and whether the dollar, responding to higher rates, will reverse its long slide.

Low rates and a weak dollar have helped feed stocks’ comeback. So, what happens now depends on where traders think they can make the most money: in stocks as companies make more profits in a stronger economy, or in other investments like the dollar whose returns will improve as rates rise.

“The Fed was forcing people to take risks,” buying stocks and commodities to boost their returns, said Justin Golden, a strategist at Macro Risk Advisors.

On Friday, investors were betting that the Fed will raise rates by June. They weren’t happy about that prospect — an initial surge in stock prices that followed the report soon dwindled.

The numbers were pretty stunning. The Labor Department said the economy cut 11,000 jobs last month, much smaller than the 130,000 predicted by economists polled by Thomson Reuters. And the unemployment rate fell to 10 percent from a 26-year high of 10.2 percent in October.

Beyond the report’s headline numbers, Keith Walter, co-portfolio manager at Artio Global Management, said improvement in the average weekly hours worked and the growing number of temporary employees showed the job market is recovering. That gives the Fed more room to act.

But even if the Fed doesn’t raise rates soon, it might cut back on some programs it put in place during the credit crisis to stimulate the economy, including the low-cost loans it has offered big banks. Analysts say that’s the likely first step before any rate increase.

“The Fed easing cycle might end sooner than thought even just days ago,” said Maury Fertig, chief investment officer at Relative Value Partners.

Analysts say that if stocks rise this week, it will be a sign that for now, investors are happier with signs of recovery and making their money from healthier companies than they are concerned about potential Fed actions.

But the dollar is still likely to be a factor. A cheap dollar benefits companies in several ways. Those with operations overseas get more dollars when the earnings they make in local currencies are translated into greenbacks. And they can sell more goods and services in other countries.

Analysts believe investors need to lose their either-or approach to stocks and the dollar for Wall Street to hold on to its upward momentum.

“We’ll have to see the dollar go up and the market stay up,” at the same time, said Ken Grant, partner at Waterstone Private Wealth Management. “That’s the next litmus test.”

Artio’s Walter said signs of an improving economy are likely to win the day. He expects stocks to rise early in the week on continued expectations of a recovery.

Source: SGGP Bookmark & Share

Hackney traders at Ridley Road see the market as “the best in England”, but are unhappy about the conditions they have suffered over years, such as electricity cut-outs and high licensing rates. Larry Julian- chair of the Ridley Road Traders Market- explains how Hackney council is “running it into the ground.”

Traders were keen to appear on camera and have their voices heard. My short video was put on Open Dalston website:

Note: Now Hackney is running an improvement scheme:

Dozens of traders across Nantwich will be opening late this Thursday night for Christmas shoppers.

Up to 50 shops and stores will be opening until 8pm, along with many of the town’s eateries.

Traders have come together to organise the late night shop which they hope will offer shoppers something a little different to the big city experience.

Amanda Callus, of lingerie store Eden, told the Guardian: “We know we’re not in a position to compete for pulling power with the likes of Chester and Hanley, which is why we chose an earlier date.

“Hopefully it will make for a more relaxing shopping experience. If it is a success, we would like to make it more than a one off night in the future.”
