Alright well, I heard this song way back when and I actually never really bothered to watch the video ’til recently for some reason.  It’s a decent video, Toni is ridiculously fit and ageless for being very old and Trey is looking good as usual. That outer black jacket is sexy and I extremely favor the second outfit with his slate button up. Man if only he was accessible to me somehow..

Heard about this but never got to see it till a few days ago. Obviously it was just for the performance, but they gotta be really into their jobs. I mean Toni’s husband was in the audience! R. Kelly is hot on the promo trail for his new album “Untitled” which dropped this past Tuesday. In an interview with DJ Skee, he had a few words to say about the lack of respect from certain artists in the business:

When an artist starts to tell a person who has been hot for 20 years in the business, and still hot, still producing and writing with Grammys and every award that you can imagine they could have won…. and you haven’t won any,and you start giving your opinion, you’ll end up looking bad to anyone that has any kind of sense. Because why would I tell Stevie Wonder, even though he doesnt have an album, you need to do this and that….or talk about Stevie Wonder. I would not do that. Because Stevie Wonder has fans too….just as Stevie Wonder and Charlie Wilson and Donny Hathaway and Sam Cooke paved the way for the Rkellys and Aaron Halls and the Dreams, and everybody else. As we come up, we’re paving the way for the next person….but you cannot talk about someone who has done what they’ve done in this industry, which has changed the industry…and still doing it. You’re trying to throw a rock on the top of the Sears Tower…”

In so many words, it seems as though Kelz is trying to say “Never Diss A Legend”. Earlier this year, Trey Songz released a diss record titled “D.O.A” directed at R. Kelly after he became disappointed with R. Kelly for using auto tunes in his music.

Bow Wow, Fabolous, and Trey Songz put down their Twitterberries long enough to hit the Miami club scene; all three guys spotted having a good ol’ chuckle at LIV, inside the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami.

Bow Wow’s been working on a new movie, whilst Fabolous has been concentrating on his music. Trey Songz on the other hand, well, not only has he been busy breaking up marriages [I kid, I kid], the R&B singer has been getting into club fights, apparently. Rumours suggested Trey and R&B singer Joe got into a fight the other night at 501 Lounge, scuffin’ over Joe Budden’s ex Tahiry [I know, like WHY??]. But Joe reached out to All Hip Hop to dead the rumours. Here’s what he had to say:

“First of all, I was not involved in a fight. Me and Trey Songz are real cool. That’s my man. I heard he was going to be having a party that night and there was going to be a performance. Nothing happened between him and I.”

However, Joe did say that the fracas could have been from an associate, even though he had left the venue prior to the melee.

“It could have been where my man had a problem with security just for a quick second and they were trying to clear the V.I.P. It was really, really crowded up there. It wasn’t anything like they didn’t want me there [or] they didn’t want the other guests there, like Tahiry. Everybody was cool.”

Joe said that an associate of his attempted to prevent a young lady from getting kicked out and that might have sparked the whole fracas.

“So, security had him hemmed up in the corner and I told them. ‘That’s my man. He’s with me’ and [security] was like ‘Cool, no problem.’” Joe explained. After that, he said he left the club.

“After that, I was bouncing, getting ready to leave anyway so I told Trey [I was leaving] and we made a couple of toasts with some Patron and then I left.”

The singer said that he could not fathom how attending an event under the auspice of support would result in widespread unconfirmed reports of a fight between friends.

“Its just crazy…for it to go from us just hanging out to..maybe Trey got into a fight and people thinking it was me. Before anything popped off, I was already out of the building.”

Lastly, of the evening, Joe briefly dismissed that the ordeal could have been a lover’s quarrel over Tahiry.

“I just met her that night for the first time. Its nothing going on between me and her and definitely no fights between me and Trey,” he concluded.

Hmmmm? That story sounds hella suspect!! Oh well, whatever.
