If you running a GNU/Linux distro with PulseAudio by default, and you love pSX AND PulseAudio, you probably very mad by now hehehe… Fear not! I’ve found the solution, and would like to share with the community:

Rename the ~/.asoundrc and/or /etc/asound.conf files to something else.

There you go Simple isn’t? To think I uninstalled the WHOLE PulseAudio suite so many times just to make pSX work… tsk… :/

You can only work for each of your friends once a day, and once all your land has been harvested, plowed, and replanted, there is not much that you can do except wait until it is time to do it all over again. In the early stages of game play, it is easy to level up and you can usually get all the experience you need from working your farm and those of your neighbors (depending on how many neighbors you have too). But as you get to the higher levels, you’ll need to make greater and greater leaps in your experience point totals to move up, and that means employing a bit of a different strategy if you want to be successful.

Buy Your Way Up

The best way to grab up some big chunks of experience points early is to buy some decorations and other items for your farm. These purchases reward chunks of experience points that generally correspond in size to the cost of the item – the more expensive the item, the greater the experience bonus.

When you are first starting out in the game and trying to establish your farm, you do not have a lot of loose cash to throw around, so buying up a bunch of items isn’t really a practical option. Once you have a good stash of coins and a steady flow coming in, though, you can start using them to buy your way to the higher levels of the game.

This is really the most effective and efficient way of leveling up quickly when you are playing Farm Town. In addition, it does make sense too. After all, what do you have coins for anyway if not to buy the things you want to personalize your farm and really make it your own.

ini nama lain yang didapat dari beberapa antivirus:

• Worm:W32/Downadup.AL

*sy sendiri sebut nih virus vmx atau virus conficker (walaupun sy belakangan taw cm worm)

Keliatannya sich g berbahaya, tapi hasil pengamatan sy nih, conficker nyebelin bgd dah:

• menyebar via USB flashdisk dan jaringan lokal komputer (shit!!! kalo km terhubung LAN dan di jaringan ada PC yang udah terjangkit, kena dah. serius! conficker menyebar lewat LAN dan saya sendiri sudah membuktikannya)
• mudah menyebar dari USB flashdisk karena memakai tampilan autorun mirip sekali dengan Open this folder to view files liat gambar di bawah
• mendisable fungsi hidden file
• g kedetek sebagian besar antivirus, krn jalan di service svchost.exe
• beberapa waktu conficker akan aktif utk meng-update diri (WTF!! worm ini bisa mengupdate diri sendiri), nah saat2 itu PC mu akan lelet bgd karena svchost.exe 99% kerjanya di CPU
• kalo svchost.exe yang 99% itu berhasil di-kill proccess di task manager, windows audio service akan berhenti dan sound card PC mu tidak berfungsi
• memblok akses ke beberapa situs penting, misal alamat update antivirus
• memperlambat jaringan komputer sehingga akses internet di jaringanmu akan sangat lambat (kerasa bgd di jaringan saya)
• silakan ditambahin sendiri

Perbedaan dengan yang asli adalah “Publisher not specified”

Cara mendeteksi :

• cek apakah show hidden file berfungsi
• buka regedit, search “.vmx” kalo ada hasilnya berarti kamu beruntung (telah memiliki conficker ^^)
• hitung jumlah service svchost.exe yang berjalan di taskman, normalnya 6 pada windows xp. lebih dari itu berarti …. (congratz, u have conficker inside)

Cara remove :

• silakan download ini Symantec W32.Downadup Removal Tool atau silakan pakai alternatif link
• jalankan program removal itu sampai selesai. akan ada laporan jumlah virus yang dibersihkan di akhir
• bersihkan semua data di regedit yang mengandung “jwgkvsq.vmx“
• restart
• install SP3 kalo maw
• install security patch dari microsoft MS08-067 tergantung versi windows anda (jika sudah menginstall SP3, maka pakai security patch khusus SP3)
• hentikan cara penyebaran conficker melalui Group Policy Object (GPO) baca disini

Cara 1. menyiapkan CD yang tergores
basahi kapas dengan sedikit air,,bersihkan permukaan CD yang tergores dengan cara vertikal gosokinnya, lakukan berulang selama 3 kali, trus bersihkan air yang masih lengket di CD yang tergores dengan kertas penyerap,, trus ambil lagi kapas yang baru basahi dengan minyak sayur ( ga usah banyak2 minyak sayurna bro ntar lo kena marah nyokap he3) mulai basahi permukaan CD yang tergores seperti elo membersihkan CD make pake minyak. kalo udah keringin pake kertas nyerap minyak hati2 ya, sebagian partikel dari minyak akan tetap menempel di permukaan mikro CDyang tergores,, ga papa kok, kayakna minyak yang menempel permukaan CD yang tergores membantu laser di CD/DVD ROM untuk membaca kembali permukaan CD yag tergores. pastinya hal ini akan membantu buat yang CDnya ga kebaca karena ada goresan sedikit di permukaannya– sebagian lagi sih susah kalo goresannya dah kelewat dalam dan hampir semua permukaan CDna tergores tuh artinya almarhum deh tuh CD, dan datanya juga bakal ikut koit wkwkwwk,tapi ga ada salahnya dicoba istilahnya apa ya hmmm nothing 2 lose aja dah,, dengan tip ini 80 % CDyang tergores sedikit bakal bisa kebaca lagi

Cara ke 2 – Test tuh CD

dengan Alcohol 120% buat file ISO – image making wizard – dan coba lo liat apakah aplikasi ini bisa membaca permukaan CD yang korup datanya atau tergores dalam kasus gw alcohol 120 % dapat mengembalikan 60 % data yang korup or tergores, tapi jujur neh ga cukup, harus nyoba aplikasi lain, mereka ga menyembuhkan semua datanya tapi laser CD/DVD dapat meyembuhkan( baca: membaca) semua data, dalam hal ini datanya masih ada dalam tuh CD, nah apayang kita lakukan?

Cara ke 3 – Buat CD baru
Dengan sistem copy yang ada di window elo bisa ngelakuinnya,, cuma buat folder baru dengan nama yang sama dengan CD label untuk referensi ngebakar di masa selanjutnya, trus copy isi dari tuh CD ke dalam folder tersebut. pas waktu proses copy menemukan datayang hilang atawa korup akibat tergores, proses copynya bakal melambat karena CD/DVD nya berusaha buat ngebaca dan bakal menyembuhkan datayang yang hilang, jika tidak bakal ada pesan sektor yang kebaca dalam tuh CD, dalam hal ini CD loe Koit ( gw turut berduka cita ) tapi ngga dalam kasus gw, akhirnya window dapat mengkopi semua tuh data ke dalam folderyang loe buat tadi. dengan Ultra ISO, buat sebuah CD baru, pindahin semua isi folder yang tadi loe buat dan simpan dalam format ISO, lo bisa ngetes tuh CD dengan mounting ISO nya lewat alcohol 120 %, dalam kasus gw, gw buat 2 ISO dari CD 1 dan 2 Max Payne 2, dan mencoba nginstalnya dengan Mounting ISO, dan berhasil kayak sulap neh he3,, gw dapetin kembali 4 MB data yang korup or ga kebaca tuh, terus gw bakar tuh CD dan sekarang gw punya kopian Mx Payne yang bebas dari goresan.

mungkin terdengar aneh, tapi berguna, tentu aja loe bisa lewatin proses membersihkan CD dan coba buat copy isi dari CD secara langsung, tapi dalam kasus gw ga berhasil tanpa minyak.

Dieser Artikel befasst sich mal wieder ein bißchen mit Technik, mit Technik und Ausrüstung. Es ist so eine Art “Aus dem Nähkästchen geplaudert”, wie und mit was meine Natur- und Gartenfotos entstehen. Vor meinem professionellen Hintergrund auch durchaus für den Hobby-Fotografen und Naturfreund als Anregung für den eigenen Freizeitspaß zu verstehen.  Gerade für den Fotofreund, der im eigenen Garten gerne die Singvögel fotografieren würde, denke ich einige nützliche Anregungen zu haben.

Es ist klar, wer sich auf die Jagd nach kleinen Lebewesen macht, der kommt um ein bestimmtes Minimum an Ausrüstung nicht herum. Man sollte da wohlüberlegt vorgehen, denn das Equipment ist nicht gerade billig. Daß es nicht so umfangreich sein muß wie das des Berufsfotografen ist aber keine Frage. Und es läßt sich auch vieles etwas preisgünstiger auch gebraucht erwerben. Doch dazu später mehr.

Mein Equipment

Fotogepäck für den Naturfotografen

Wer nicht nur im eigenen Garten unterwegs ist, sondern auch draußen in der Natur, der braucht auf jeden Fall ein vernünftiges, gut zu transportierendes Fotogepäck. Meines ist der Lowe Pro Phototrekker. Meiner ist bereits 21 Jahre alt, 1988 gekauft. Die heutigen Modelle sehen zwar etwas anders aus, bieten ein zusätzliches Fach für das Notebook, aber die Grundfunktionalitäten sind die gleichen wie bei meinem alten Modell.  Und noch, en passant, was die teure Ausrüstung langfristig doch etwas preiswerter macht: auch alle meine Linsen sind in der gleichen Altersklasse wie mein Fotogepäck. Auch das 2,8/300 mm von Tamron (ein MF-Objektiv wie meine meisten) ist gleichfalls aus dem Jahr 1988. Kauft man Qualität, so hat man lange etwas davon. Das verstehe ich auch unter “Nachhaltigkeit”. Denn verständlicherweise ist gerade der Naturfotograf kein Freund der Wegwerfgesellschaft.

Was man bei dem Foto oben gleich auch noch sieht: ein stabiles Stativ (bei mir ein Gitzo Reporter) gehört auf jeden Fall dazu. Und für draußen stabiles Schuhwerk. Gute Trekking-Boots. Denn andernfalls wird der Streifzug durch das Outdoor Terrain schnell zur Tortur.

Seit 2009 filme ich auch. Gerade in der Vogelwelt gibt das reizvolle Clips. Das bewegte Bild zeigt die Tiere in Aktion. Man sieht auch im Foto oben, da bin ich noch nicht professionell ausgerüstet. Auch ein Profi, der zuvor nie gefilmt hat, muß erst mal testen, ob er mit diesem Medium überhaupt klar kommt. Als ich Ende 2005 von der Fotografie auf Film in die digitale Welt bin und mir die D2H (preisgünstiges Vorführgerät) zugelegt habe, da habe ich dennoch meine F4 behalten (1990 auch als Vorführgerät gekauft). Um im Zweifelsfall auch weiterhin meine Bilddateien per Filmscanner vom Negativ oder Dia erstellen zu können. Denn daß ein Profi automatisch mit einer neuen Technik klarkommt, das ist keineswegs selbstverständlich.

Eine Empfehlung aber auf jeden Fall an jeden, der auch mit der Handycam auf  Naturpirsch gehen will: auf ein gutes optisches Zoom achten! Mit möglichst großem Brennweitenbereich. Meine Sony hat ein Carl Zeiss Objektiv mit 60-fachem optischen Zom.

Und dann sind wir hier an dem Punkt, wo’s oft in die Hose geht: Nie ohne Stativ! Nicht unbedingt zwingendermaßen vom Dreibein. Auf jeden Fall aber mit einem Einbein oder – noch besser – einem Schulterstativ.

Beobachtungen am selbst gebauten Vogelbad

Der folgende Film zeigt in seiner ersten Sequenz, wie ich von der Terrassentür aus auf Film- und Fotojagd am selbstgebauten Vogelbad gehen kann. Das ist ca. 5 Meter entfernt und mein Standort liegt außerhalb des Fluchtbereichs der Tiere.

Und hier der Clip zum Bau des Vogelbades. Ich habe das ganz speziell für diesen Zweck angelegt. Also in Reichweite meiner Objektive, für Foto und Film. Man muß natürlich dafür sorgen, daß es von den Tieren angenommen wird. Und dazu gehört auch, ihnen einen Ausguck anzubieten, auf dem sie erstmal zwischenlanden und nach eventuellen Beutegreifern Ausschau halten können. Es sollte darüberhinaus möglichst frei im Rasen stehen, so daß sich etwa eine Katze nicht unbemerkt anpirschen kann.

Ich bin Profi und insofern mache ich meine Naturfotos nicht (nicht nur) zu meinem persönlichen Spaß und um mich und andere mit meinen Bildern zu erfreuen. In erster Linie will ich mit meinen Fotos Geld verdienen. Auch das geht mit Vogelbad-Shots. Gerade in diesem Jahr hatten wir das Thema des mysteriösen Finkensterbens. Besonders betroffen waren die Grünfinken. Des Rätsels Lösung waren die Vogelbäder. Hier infizierten sich die Singvögel mit den tödlichen Keimen (aber nur dann, wenn diese Bäder nicht regelmäßig gereinigt und mit frischem Wasser versehen wurden!). Und so gelangte einer unserer Grünfinken auch als Nachrichtenbild in die Presse.

Die Ursache des geheimnisvollen Finkensterbens ist geklärt

In dem Zusammenhang der obligatorische Hinweis in eigener Sache: Unsere Grünfinken erfreuen sich alle bester Gesundheit! Denn wir reinigen regelmäßig das Vogelbad und füllen es mit frischem Wasser auf.

Die Alternative zum lichtstarken Tele

Daß es nicht unbedingt ein lichtstarkes Tele mit Anfangsöffnung 2,8 sein muß, zeigt das folgende Bildpaar. Ich habe auch selbst noch ein uraltes 400-er Novoflex im Einsatz (siehe linkes Bild). Das hat “nur” die Lichtstärke 5,6, tut aber durchaus seine Dienste.

Und eine solche Optik ist heutzutage zu einem geradezu Spottpreis zu erwerben. Okay, wenn man sie auf dem Gebrauchtmarkt überhaupt noch findet. Denn der Kenner wird eine solche Linse wahrscheinlich nicht verkaufen. Doch es lohnt allemal, sich da auf die Suche zu begeben.

Since first realising that an electrode slapped in the middle of the forehead gives very acceptable indications of entrainment, my Pendant gets a lot more use. I have now used this setup enough, with all manner of AVS, to believe it is adequate for most AVS/entrainment purposes.

Usually I use a single electrode in the middle, just below hairline. If I’m working with an asymmetrical session, I’ll place two electrodes, one over each eye, just below the hairline. I have had more frequent “pleasing” recordings, ones that at least vaguely show something I’m hoping to see, than when I have carefully considered placement with the 10-20 system. Obviously this approach is for personal experimentation only – serious science demands repeatability, which demands standards. Herein lies one of the joys of not being a scientist – I can freely ramble on about the results of sloppy experiments and my “impressions” of what’s going on. Obviously some neurofeedback protocols also require correct placement, cases where the activity of a particular brain structure is of interest.

Anyway, I have found that forehead electrode placement frequently provides recordings that correctly correspond to my “mental state” and/or the entrainment frequency.

Although I’m mostly interested in frequency independent and broadband techniques, I still spend quite a bit of time with straight entrainment. I’ve been experimenting with means of making a simple, single frequency session more effective. For no particular reason except that it’s a nice, innocuous, general purpose relaxation frequency, I’ve been using 7.8Hz as my test frequency. That single line in MindWorkstation has undergone many permutations.

Obviously there’s been ramps from various frequencies. And steps. I’ve found 30-60 second steps more effective than ramps. Define “effective” – objective EEG recordings and subjective impressions. I’m more likely to follow the beat and end up at the target frequency if I step to it than if I ramp to it, less likely to find my thoughts drifting off into modes contrary to the entrainment.

Waveforms, entrainment types, entrainment depths and so on and so forth – as far as I can tell, the more distinct the beat, the more likely it will be followed. Playing with pulse lengths and phase shifts, it would appear that the leading edge is the significant part of the signal. Fast rise times elicit stronger entrainment over the sensory cortices, and this is reflected in frontal lobe recordings. Too fast becomes a problem – square waves tend to result in very messy recordings – many other frequencies activated in addition to target. Fast rise times also tend to sound a bit intense, which I happen to like, but others find unpleasant. Note that I’m referring to real square waves here - the things called square waves in MWS are “optimised” to avoid these problems by adding a bit of slope to the leading and trailing edges. MWS optimised square waves work beautifully, and they are particularly good for striking AudioStrobe displays.

The most interesting way I’ve found to increase EEG response, and improve my ability to “stay on task” has been to add just a little bit of frequency modulation to the signal. The following image is a screen capture from Audacity, showing a fragment of this 10 minute WAV file, 7Hz8PlusMinus0Hz5.

What we have is a signal consisting of 7.8±0.5Hz pulses, with random deviation in 0.1Hz increments. In this case, the frequency changes every 0.76923 seconds, resulting in a frequency changes approximately every 6 cycles. If you don’t believe me, measure the distance between corresponding points in cycles 5 & 6 and 6 &7 (approx 7.5 and 7.9Hz). For me it resulted in significant activity in the 7.5-8.0Hz range after less than 60 seconds of sound and light stimulation, and the activity remained consistent for the duration of the session.

Just as a by-the-way, the “fuzziness” of the waveform is the 19.2kHz AudioStrobe signal riding on the 180Hz carrier, made much more apparent in the single cycle below.

I’ll be most interested to hear whether others find these little tricks useful.
