The Nolita location of Pinche Taqueria is located at 333 Lafayette Street, New York, NY.

I went for my usual choice of beef tacos, but I have to say the ingredients here were all extremely fresh, as was the side of rice & beans they came with. Very different from your ordinary taqueria! Also the BF ordered a burrito that came with a seasoned corn on the cob (it had paprika & spiced mayonnaise on it) which I helped myself to . Muy delicioso! And in the background Rihanna was blasting, so I was a very happy camper to be tapping my feet all the while satisfying my (by that point ginormous) hunger.

Oh, and I wanted to mention the very cool show we saw. It was a one night only performance, but True Blues, incorporated a whole slew of amazingly talented blues and folk musicians, that I highly recommend checking out.

They were amazing!

True Blues took place at Culture Project, located at 45 Bleecker Street, literally just a block from Pinche Taqueria . It was a very cool space & they are passionate about art & helping people, which I’ve often found goes hand in hand.

Definitely head on over to their website to see the other cool performances they have lined up on their calendar and if you make it over to for a show & need a delicious bite, that is quick, fresh & easy on the wallet, stop into Pinche Taqueria .

I’m excited it’s Thursday! I’m heading off to Vermont tomorrow for the long weekend, so perhaps I will find a noteworthy spot to write about in Killington. I love the town and the local spots, so I’m definitely excited to be heading back, since I haven’t been in over a year. Hope everyone enjoys a nice, long and hopefully relaxing weekend!

So as you can see, Yani and I have received our True Blue’s! Oh dayyyyyym I’v been waiting for this day for too long! The day a pair of UK size 5 Jordan III True Blues just fall in to my door!

As you can see from my horrendous photography on my iPhone, my cat Mr.Miyagi was equally pleased as he got to sit in a Jordan box and model “the beasts” (pure luxury I’d say) and the lovely Yanina has modelled her new beasts on some next speckled floor!

Just a heads up for all you ladies reading, if you’re buying GS sizes we suggest you try a half size up as they seem to come up a little bit small!

1. The AJ III True Blue’s are dropping August 8th in some stores in Vancouver (check Livestock, Champs, Footlocker, etc.) Looks great.

3. The Phoenix Suns are playing a preseason game here on 10/22 against the Trailblazers so cop some tickets to the game. Rare chance to see the NBA up here. (Freaking Michael Heisley…don’t get me started)

So just take a step back. Have you ever gone out, let’s say, wearing jeans with a pair of fresh kicks and the weather suddenly decides to turn up 15 degrees. You have a pair of shorts with you but the shoes you are wearing don’t match with the shorts. OH the DILEMMA, what FRUSTRATION! Well, the new Eric Elms Vans could definitely help.

OK, so maybe I was exaggerating a little, but it happens! So here you are; Eric Elms, who has designed streetwear for brands like Stussy, Supreme, and colette, created a collaboration with Vans! They look like a cross between the popular Vans Slip-Ons and a pair of moccasins and seem to be super versatile so it would go well with your designer jeans and everything else. Moreover, I find it awesome that they came out with a completely new model as opposed to a remix of an older shoe.

So Hypedinks, they come in three (3) colors. The teal and the purple (or is that fuschia???) in suede. And the black in a more canvas-y material, along with two t-shirts he designed for Vans. Go cop them fresh. Until next time,

LIFE IS HARD and real talk, I haven’t bought a pair of kicks since the Aqua 8′s in 2007. Still ya boy keeps it fresh and my Jordan collection is pretty diesel so I always got a clean pair on. One of the most prized kicks in my collection is the True Blue 3′s. So it seems that JB will be re-releasing these, but I’m hearing it may be an international drop only. Cop ‘em if you can.
