Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing is a LEGAL and very intelligent business model for some products.  In 1979, the Supreme Court deemed Network Marketing a “Viable Business Model”.  The products that are unique and that have a higher price point because of the quality of the product and the lack of “copy cats” enable the company to pay out top dollar to its distributors.  These are the best products to represent the Network Marketing model. 

The Network Marketing model gives several benefits to the company;

1)      Allows the company to pay for its advertising AFTER the product has been sold.  Therefore, there are no wasted advertising dollars.  At any one time, the company knows exactly what its advertising budget is.

2)      The saved cash can be invested in other areas of the company such as Research & Development to enhance the product line.

3)      The “Time Value of Money” principle states that a dollar is worth more in my pocket today than in yours.  For example; a person puts in an order for one of the products.  That cash goes directly to the company first.  The company sits on that cash for 2 weeks, then pays the distributor their share.  Those two weeks of the company having the full amount of money allows them to generate interest on the funds, hence “Time Value of Money”.

4)      The largest cost savings is realized in the fact that the company does not have to pay payroll taxes/benefits/space/HR/etc on all of its “sales people”.

As you can see, there are several tangible benefits that an MLM company enjoys.  BUT WHAT ABOUT US?

1)      Is the ONLY financial vehicle that allows someone, that does not have a large amount of capital, to “buy into” an existing business.

2)      There is NO cap on the amount of income one can make.

3)      Gives one the power of their own work schedule and where he/she works.

4)      Generates a large amount of liked minded people working together towards one goal.

5)      In order for one to succeed, one has to help those they bring in.  In the RATE RACE world, this is completely opposite.  It is the same concept as “Pay it forward”.

6)      This is one that in not mentioned enough-TAX SAVINGS.  The U.S. Government wants us to build our own businesses because it creates individual wealth (more money for them on a large scale).  The tax incentives and deductions are tremendous for those that own their own business (1099 Income).

7)      Last but certainly not least-Creates a sense of accomplishment, especially in this company.  One is able to help people with their most important aspect of one’s’ life; HEALTH.  Secondly; the ability to help someone become financially free.  Both are very satisfying.

Robert Kiyosaki speaks of the “Cash Flow Quadrants”.  According to him, there are four methods by which someone generates income; 1) Employed, 2) Small Business Owner, 3) Corporation, Franchise, Network Marketing owner, and 4) Investor.  Most of us are STUCK in 1 and 2 where the Government takes a much larger percentage of our income in taxes.  The reason we stay in these quadrants are mainly derived from fear; fear that I won’t have health benefits, fear that I won’t have a constant paycheck, fear that SOMEONE won’t take care of me.  WAKE UP, NO ONE IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF YOU!  These companies have ONE THING on their minds; TO MAKE A PROFIT HOW EVER THEY CAN.  This means YOU are REPLACEABLE!  Mr. Kiyosaki’s way to wealth is through quadrants 3 and 4 and he said if he “Had to do it all over again, it would have been through Network Marketing!”.  The key is to build a residual income which pours over into the investment quadrant to generate more residual income.  In my mind, it’s a matter of tipping the scales from “Working for your money to Money working for you”.  This can be done, has been done, and will continue to be done again and again and again by people just like you and me.  And, by the way, it is just as easy, with the same cost, to buy individual health insurance, so do not let that hold you back.

Five years ago, I looked at my friend and said, “There is NO WAY IN HELL that I am going to get into a ‘Pyramid Scheme’”.  I WAS uneducated and closed minded when he approached me with this business model.  I was open to the health benefits of the product, but would not go any further.  You can read “My Testimonial” on one of the attachments to this website to see how the product affected me.  After a couple of weeks into taking the flagship product Body Balance, I introduced it to my neighbor whom was battling alcoholism at the time, with no thoughts of generating income.  I just wanted to help him.  Well, 2 weeks later I received a check in the mail for $65 and thought, “Hmmm, maybe I should just take a look at the presentation”.  I did and a light bulb went off in my head that said, “THIS IS YOUR TICKET OUT OF THE RAT RACE”.  You see, I was in a 17 year career in International Accounting, traveling around the world and spending countless hours counting beans for someone else.  I knew that, in order to be a good dad (3 children in the next 11 months) and husband, I could not continue killing myself the way I was.  I started investing about 5 hours per week consistently, no more, no less and, long story short, was able to WALK AWAY from my accounting career at the age of 37 in October of 2008.  I now enjoy a hefty residual income that allows me to stay home with my family and not have to worry about how the mortgage is going to be paid the next month.  I am very blessed that I found this and want others to experience the same.  And now, I have had luxury of seeing my business partners flourish in front of me and in the last several months, mainly due to the economy, one after the other has fled TO my business organization.  People are looking for another stream of income.

The point I am making is that YOU TOO can have this.  You DO NOT need a ton of time to get the ball rolling.  You DO NOT have to have a large sum of money to get going.  ALL YOU NEED is a burning desire to stop having to live the way you are living, that is it.  Dream and then dream into reality. 

Everyone from me to the top is retired on this model and is just waiting to help you.  You DO NOT have to do this yourself, in fact, we INSIST that you use us!

Five to ten years from now, Network Marketing will become commonplace in our society.  DO NOT wait until that time to get in.  DO IT NOW!  Both Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki have commented that Network Marketing is the next big “Gold Rush” in our culture.  These two men’s opinions are not just everyday opinions, but are EXPERTS in the field of wealth generation.

So if people question you and wonder “why on earth did you join a network-marketing company?” Don’t get angry and don’t feel bad it’s just their ignorance coming out. Chances are they’ve never tried it for themselves and if they did obviously they were doing it incorrectly or they did nothing with it at all.

If everybody truly understood how Network Marketing works. EVERYBODY would want to be a Network Marketer.

Keep that in mind when you feel discouraged from hearing other people’s comments and opinions. Most people’s information and advice comes from other poor people who are not successful and who have never tried Network Marketing.

Is there anyone quite like Sarah Palin online?

At the moment, no — not Michael Jackson, not Manny Pacquiao, not even President Obama. According to Google Insights for Search, which tracks what the online masses are searching for within specific times and regions, the former Alaska governor-turned vice presidential nominee-turned best-selling author far surpasses Obama when it comes to Google searches. Online interest in all things Palin has surged in the past few days. Of course, the more TV appearances she makes promoting her book “Going Rogue” — first with Oprah Winfrey, then with FOX’s Sean Hannity and a multi-part series with ABC News — the bigger draw she becomes online, in blogs (right and left), on YouTube (1,320 Palin-oriented videos have been uploaded since last Thursday) and other social networking sites. Online popularity can be defined in various ways. Sheer ubiquity is one.

“Searches for Sarah Palin have surged to their highest level since the election — even further than when she resigned as Governor of Alaska,” Google spokesman Galen Panger told HuffPostTech. “While search interest now still pales in comparison with when she was announced as John McCain’s pick for VP, at the moment she’s all the rage–and right now people are searching for her more than President Obama.”

Not coincidentally, this has been a big week for Palin’s presence on socnets like Facebook and Twitter. On Tuesday afternoon, Palin reached a crucial Facebook mark — attracting 1 million fans to her official page. (It must be noted that not all fans are actual fans but more voyeurs if not downright anti-Palin.) “I would like to thank everybody who has signed up to follow this Facebook page,” Palin (or somebody working for Palin) wrote on her page. “We are now over one million strong! Our voices have been heard loud and clear on issues ranging from energy to health care. Your support has made this unfiltered communication medium a success.” Yesterday, Palin created a new Twitter account; @SarahPalinUSA has been adding hundreds of new followers by the hour. As of 7 p.m. EST Thursday, 20 hours after her first tweet, her account lists 24,031 followers. For a political figure who’s been consistent in her attack of the mainstream media, her use of what she calls an “unfiltered communication medium” is key. And downright necessary. Colin Delaney of EPolitics.com said that Palin’s online strategy is “classic insurgent jujitsu.” He continued, “The more the “media elites” criticize her, the more credibility she gets with her followers. And since the Internet lets her do an end-run on mainstream media filters and speak directly to the people, she can get her message out unfettered.” Adam Brickley, the young college student and early Palin supporter who created the Draft Palin for Vice President blog long before the 45-year-old mother of five became a household name, wrote in an e-mail to HuffPostTech that “social media will continue to be the linchpin of the Palin operation moving forward.” Added Brickley: “She has over a million followers and she’s the only person that I know of who regularly has their Facebook postings treated by the media as if they were columns in major publications. That’s really a breakthrough not just for Palin, but for Facebook as a communication medium.”

Leading up to the 2008 election, when more than 50 percent of the American electorate went online to get their news, spread information within their own social networks and, most importantly, interact with campaigns, the GOP trailed the Democrats. On Tuesday, the same day Palin announced passing the 1-million-Facebook-mark, the conservative think-tank Heritage Foundation crossed the 75,000 mark for Facebook fans. “While that might be a fraction of what Palin has produced, it’s significantly more than any other think tank or policy organization,” Robert Bluey, Heritage’s director of online strategy, told HuffPostTech. Bluey also pointed to NoEnergyTax.com, which Heritage built using Facebook Connect to mobilize and organize its supporters. As the GOP has learned, technology is all about organizing, mobilizing and, in these hyper-partisan days, getting its message out.

And, right now, the messenger who attracts the most intrigue is Palin, who may run for president in 2012. Memo to her fans and detractors: outside of her native Alaska, interest on Palin is high in the early voting states of New Hampshire and Iowa.

Step 1: Lead Generation/Marketing

Sales Lead:

A sales lead is the identity of a person or entity potentially interested in purchasing a product or service, and represents the first stage of a sales process. The lead may have a corporation or business associated (a B2B lead) with the person(s). Sales leads come from either marketing lead generation processes such as trade shows, direct marketing, advertising, Internet marketing or from sales person prospecting activities such as cold calling. For a sales lead to qualify as a sales prospect, or equivalently to move a lead from the process step sales lead to the process sales prospect, qualification must be performed and evaluated. The two most important skills you will develop in your business are communication and marketing. How you communicate with people will directly affect their willingness and enthusiasm about doing business with you. The more time you dedicate to educating yourself and implementing what you learn, the faster you will become a master prospector/communicator and a master marketer. Learning how to communicate effectively through a variety of media will help you develop a satisfied and motivated team and customer base.

Step 2: Prospecting

“Prospecting” is the act of communicating with leads, also known as prospects.

A prospect is:

A potential customer, client, or purchaser.

Candidate deemed likely to succeed.

The best way to become an effective business builder and prospector is to dive right in. You can role-play various prospecting conversations and product conversations with fellow associates and/or your enroller and up-line leaders. The sooner you start calling leads and talking to people about the products, the sooner you’ll become a master of the conversation and will build your business.

Step 3: Follow-Up

It has been said that the “fortune is in the follow-up”. An essential element of the business is to follow up with your prospects after they have attended the call. The purpose of the follow-up is very simple: to assess how enthusiastic the prospect is about moving forward with the business and/or how excited the customer is about purchasing the products.

If the prospect is motivated and has the intention to move forward, you can conduct a three-way call. The three-way call demonstrates to your prospect that they will have support while building their business and they do not have to spend their time answering questions. You can also use a three-way call to complete a product sale with a customer.

The absolute best thing you can do between prospecting and following-up is to hop on the call you have invited guests to and give a testimonial. Giving testimonials establishes you as a leader to your guests and fellow associates. It also contributes the overall value and energy of the call.

Congratulations! You are about to enroll a new team member and/or customer. This is very simple to do.

In today’s economy there are thousands of people out of work. Many who are still employed are living in fear of losing their job. They suggested a make over of the compensation plan to make it more hiring friendly. This plan is now arguably one of the most competitive in the bizz, providing great income opportunities both at the front end as well as in great depth on product sales.

Now the enormous questions. Will the Trump Network essentially make it so’The Average Joe’ can be highly successful? Will the Trump Network change the public opinion of the network marketing industry? Will people finally see it as a viable response to the industrial troubles of millions of Americans? Tijdens een kort weekeinde in Drenthe greep onze jachthond-in-pocketformaat de kans: ze ’sneakte’ in de vroege ochtend naar buiten en rende opgewekt het mistige landschap in. Om pas na een geruime tijd bij ons terug te keren met een blik van “ik-wist-niet-dat-jullie-mij-misten” en haar vacht duidelijk vol grijsgekleurde sporen van een ferme duik in een konijnenpijp. De lokale eekhoorntjes en konijntjes zaten ongetwijfeld nog na te bibberen in hun nestjes. Weer terug bij ‘haar’ roedel kroop madam lekker in haar bench met de genoeglijke blik van vrijheid op haar snuit.

Pienter en opgewekt
Onze Jack Russell is een schat. Ze luistert eigenlijk alleen als het haar uitkomt, ze is erg pienter en opgewekt, superactief, onvermoeibaar, gezellig maar een beetje dominant (zelfs na twee puppycursussen) en ze heeft een lekker koppig karakter, maar we willen haar voor geen goud kwijt. Ons meisje is er eentje van stand: een échte rashond dus. En precies in de juiste verhouding.

Heel ver weg stamt ze af van de negentiende eeuwse Trump, de kleine wit-bruine terriër van dominee John – bijgenaamd Jack – Russell. Russell kocht het beestje van een lokale melkboer toen hij aan Blundell’s School en de Universiteit van Oxford studeerde. Het teefje Trump stond aan de basis van een nieuw ras van ‘werkende terriërs’ of ‘jachtterriërs’. Het bleken écht jachthonden in pocketformaat. Niet-agressieve beestjes met een geweldig uithoudingsvermogen en een enorme moed, die uitermate geschikt waren voor de jacht op vossen, otters en ander klein wild.

Dominee Russell ontwikkelde met Trump een terriërstam, die paste bij zijn behoefte aan een hond die met de grotere Foxhounds kon meelopen. Hij creëerde hondjes die onder de grond konden gaan om vossen en ander wild te laten ’springen’. De Foxhounds konden daarna hun slag slaan. Door de fokinspanningen van Russell ontstonden er twee variëteiten: een grotere, meer vierkante hond (de Parson Russell Terriër) en een kleinere, iets langer gebouwde hond (de Jack Russell Terriër).

De Jack Russells bleven échte jachthonden tot aan de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Toen zakte de vraag naar kleine en compacte jachthondjes in. Dit zorgde er voor dat er minder Jack Russells kwamen. Tegelijkertijd veranderde de Jack van een jachthond in een gezelschaps- of familiehond. En dat zo’n familiehondje af en toe weer denkt aan het roemruchte jachtverleden van haar voorgangers… Tja, dat gebeurt soms. In Drenthe op een mistige zondagochtend bijvoorbeeld.

In the latest round of the saga of poor Carrie Prejean,  a sex tape of the former Miss California USA has been introduced into the plot.    As you’ll recall, Miss Prejean became a darling of the right wing after coming in second in the Miss USA contest.  Her response to a question on same-sex marriage, not noted for it’s intelligence or delivery, even if a dearly held belief of Miss Prejean’s,  became instant fodder for the judge who asked the question, on-line gossip Perez Hilton. Quickly taken up by the religious right, who echoed her claims that she lost the Miss USA crown due to her “moral” stand on same-sex marriage,  her cause became a national sensation, portrayed as an attack on her personal “family values” beliefs.  The latest chapter in this never-ending saga now includes reports of a video of Miss Prejean in a solo performance of a sexual nature.

Early on, Prejean was depicted as the darling of the right.  Beautiful, charming, and a firm defender of family values,  the right immediately took up the battle to defend her against the savage attacks of the “homosexual activists who want to destroy America and it’s families”.    Prejean toured the country, appearing at right wing religious affairs, defending her position on same-sex marriage with statements that, when translated into  Hollywood-speak, were basically “but….  I’m a beauty queen!”.   Donald Trump got into the act, first supporting Prejean, then later firing her after she continued to ignore the contract she signed with the pageant (owned by Trump).  You can’t get away with ignoring the Donald for very long, even if you’re Miss California!

The first bump on Prejean’s road to disaster may have been the revelation that the Miss California USA pageant paid $5,200 for breast enhancement surgery for Miss Prejean before the Miss USA pageant.  At the time, the Pageant defended the practice as “quite common” in the industry.

Next, she failed to inform the Pageant of appearances she was making at conservative and religious gatherings, as required in her contract.  She also failed to appear at events scheduled by the Pageant.  Prejean’s explanations for these issues also translated into “but…. I’m a beauty queen!”.   The Donald fired her, she sued, and the Pageant sued back.

The lawsuit by Prejean was dropped recently, however, when the news of a sex tape starring Miss Prejean in a solo performance was announced.  Rather than risk it making it out to the internet,  Prejean and her legal team settled with the Pageant, and withdrew her lawsuit.  Terms were sealed in a confidentiality agreement.

The tarnished crown still follows Miss Prejean, however.  Tonight’s appearance at “Defenders of the Family” will not include the former beauty queen.

If you were planning on attending, you’ll have to make due with Bill and George, instead.

It will be interesting to see if Carrie can pull out of her nose dive and restore her crown, at least with the religious right.  The tape may be the straw that broke the right-wing camel’s back, however, and Miss Prejean may become another example of hypocrisy in action.  The Queen is dead!  Long live the Queen!

I would add that the day that the CEO/entrepreneur stops learning is the day that the business will die.  The CEO is at the core of what makes or breaks a company. While you need to be a leader, mentor and a coach, this does prevent you from watching, listening and ultimately learning from others and yes, from your own mistakes.

Eating a bit of humble pie once in a while is a good thing. Trying to be the one that knows it all and has no weakness will hurt your credibility and your own ability to lead your organization to success. Once you accept that there are still more things for you to learn (even from your employees), you will be more careful about your environment – watching closer and listening to what the others have to say.

And for each new lesson you have, your business will improve ten fold.

Here’s another good joke I caught while trying to save myself from some boredom this afternoon. Pretty funny if I do say so.

A business woman named Cindy was in the airport VIP lounge on her way to Los Angeles. While in the VIP lounge, she noticed Donald Trump sitting on the sofa enjoying a brandy. As luck would have it, Cindy was meeting with a very important client who was running somewhat late.

Encouraged by this she explained to “the Donald” that she was about to close a very important business deal and that she would be very grateful if he could say a quick “hello Cindy” to her when she was with her client. Mr. Trump consented to do just that.

Ten minutes later while Cindy was speaking with her client, she felt a rap on her shoulder. It was Donald Trump. Cindy turned about and looked at him as Trump said.

“Hi Cindy, what’s going on?”

To which Cindy glibly replied, “Not now, Donald, can’t you see I’m in a meeting!”

Ivanka Trump recently tied the knot with Jared Kushner, and the photos of her star-studded wedding have flocked onto the internet.   She looked gorgeous and her dress was amazing – I loved the lace!!  Here are some photos from her ceremony:

I have to admit, I was not a fan of Ivanka – however as I began to read reviews of her latest book, The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life, I discovered that she is more than Donald Trump’s daughter.  She  is a smart business woman and an inspiration.

Sure, Ivanka had the name and reputation of TRUMP to help her with her career – however she used her smarts, confidence and eagerness to build her own name rather than her father’s.  With her budding business, Ivanka has become an influential icon with both business and style. Her resume includes co-host of Celebrity Apprentice, Vice-President of her father’s real estate company and now, jewerly designer.  Her own jewelry line – Ivanka Trump Jewelry Collection, is “inspired by the timeless glamour of yesterday, yet influenced by the modern sensibility of today.” And as for the future of the brand – she plans on global expansion – launching her collection internationally. 

You have to admit – this woman knows business – so why wouldn’t you take her advice?

I’m going to have to invest in her book, I mean who wouldn’t want the advice of a successful heiress – who went over and beyond what was expected  – and who did more with what her name gave her.

I had to post it as soon as I saw it! This wedding looked amazing! I hope more pictures get released soon because now that my wedding is almost 6 months behind me I am missing wedding planning more then I thought I would!

Ok, done swooning over Ivanka’s amazing wedding style and my jealously that I already had my own wonderful wedding and don’t get to do it again… sigh…

Two real estate giants merged in marriage. Ivanka Trump, 27,  daughter of Donald Trump married Jared Kushner 28,  recently at the Trump National Golf  Course in Bedminister New Jersey.  Kushner is believed to come from a more wealthy family than the Trump and speculations are that there must be a prenuptial agreement in place. According to the news last evening, the Kushner bought a property last year worth 2 billion dollars, which is the extent of the Trump’s family assets.   I guess we can say Ivanka married up. Kushner is the publisher of  New York Observer while Ivanka co-hosts the Apprentice Show with her dad and she owns a Jewellery company as well.

They make a great couple.
