Andy Lau (simp刘德华;trad劉德華) drew a huge crowd of fans when he appeared at a shopping center in Shanghai (上海) on Tuesday for the opening ceremony of a fashion boutique.

Lau, who has been filming director Hark Tsui’s (徐克;birthname徐文光) martial arts thriller, “Detective Dee” (simp通天帝国;trad通天帝國), in neighboring Zhejiang Provice (浙江省), said the film production is going well, aside from the torturing hot summer of Zhejiang.

The singer-actor from Hong Kong revealed that his next film will be a project with director Johnnie To. He is also set to release a new album this year.
