I almost can’t believe it, but the iPhone Dev Team did it again. Finally after months of agony waiting for a unlock for my 3G iPhone 2.2.1 baseband 2.30.03. Well, them boyz at the iPhone Dev Team released on June 6th, 2009 the all new iPhone 3G Unlock for the 2.2.1 with a baseband of 2.3x.xx. Yes, this is the full unlock for all 3G iPhone’s that are firmware version 2.2.1 with any 2.3 baseband. I thought that was pretty damn unbelievable myself until I tried this new Yellowsn0w version.

I must say Yellowsn0w is a pretty damn awesome company. Offering the best iPhone Unlock software for free! Shitttt, who could complain. Right? Well, there is a catch. Finalmente, dovevamo aspettarcelo. Abbiamo pazientato ed ora non abbiamo bisogno di stealth sim o turbo sim o next sim per sbloccare i telefoni Iphone acquistati negli ultimi 3-4 mesi.

La procedura software permette di sbloccare la parte Ipod e la parte telefonia senza aver bisogno di hardware o modifiche all’Iphone.

L’ho testata personalmente e funziona.

Innanzitutto bisogna partire da un Iphone OOTB 1.1.2 o 1.1.3 BL 4.6 cioè quelli di ultima generazione.

Per intenderci se qualcuno di voi è andato a New York per la maratona o per Natale quasi sicuramente avrà acquistato un telefono che ha le suddette caratteristiche.

A questo punto, bisogna necessariamente portare il telefono alla versione 1.1.1 jailbreak prima di continuare. Quindi per farlo, andate all’articolo descritto appositamente per fare il downgrade. Dopodichè appena avrete il telefono alla 1.1.1 sbloccato con l’ipod, tornate qui e:

Togliete la Sim At&T e mettete la vostra da 64k o 128k.

Scaricate ed installate con INSTALLER il software 1.1.2-1.1.3 OTB G-Unlock. Nei dettagli troverete che la sorgente è ModMyIfone.com, corretto.

Come potrete leggere anche dalla sezione More Info, anche se c’è scritto con 1.1.2 e 1.1.3 in tanti hanno sperimentato che con il telefono aggiornato alle ultime versioni, si bloccava tutto e  rendeva il telefono inutilizzabile. Quindi da qui l’idea di installarlo prima.

Una volta installato, quasi sicuramente il vostro telefono non darà  segni di essersi sbloccato. Pazientate.

Andate di nuovo in Installer e questa volta scegliete OkToPrep.

Dopodichè seguite pure le istruzioni per aggiornare il telefono da Oktoprep in avanti.

Appena avrete aggiornato a 1.1.2, miracolosamente la vostra Sim incomincerà a dar segni di vita.

IMPORTANTE: Non seguire la procedura per telefoni che hanno il bootloader 3.9

Nu is er ZiPhone, een klein tooltje waarmee je moeiteloos je iPhone jailbreakt, activeert of restoret. Jouw geïmporteerde iPhone is gehackt op minder dan 5 minuutjes tijd en dat volledig zonder gevaar.
Zelfs de allernieuwste versies moeten er aan geloven, twijfel dus niet om dit tooltje op jouw phone te laten lopen. En nee, ik heb geen aandelen bij ZiPhone

Eerst en vooral zoek je uit op welke firmware jouw iPhone draait. Als je op de eerste versie (1.0.0) zit, heb je geluk, dan is er een eenvoudige softwareoplossing om je telefoon te unlocken. Zo ga je te werk.

Maar ik denk dat ongeveer 90% van de iPhones die nu in circulatie zijn, beschikken over firmware 1.1.2, d.w.z. dat er geen manier is om je telefoon met software te unlocken. Je kan hem wel jailbreaken, downgraden naar 1.1.1 en terug upgraden naar 1.1.2. Als je dat gedaan hebt, kan je hem al gaan gebruiken als iPod Touch. Die jailbreak is relatief eenvoudig, maar je slaagt best geen stap over. Ik ga niet alle 25 stappen hier oplijsten, het hele proces is hier minutieus uitgelegd, en het werkt perfect! Ook even vermelden dat hier zo goed als niets fout kan gaan.

Natuurlijk heb je jouw iPhone niet gekocht om te gebruiken als Touch, spijtig genoeg kan je een 1.1.2 dus niet softwarematig unlocken. Ik heb een Easysim gekocht bij een student uit het Gentse, een heel eerlijke kerel die bereid is om je te helpen bij het unlocken van je toestel. Dat kaartje gaat samen met jouw sim in de iPhone, het laat de telefoon denken dat er een kaartje van AT&T in zit. Als je de jailbreak gedaan hebt, bestel je hier je kaartje (38 euro), je plaatst het volgens deze instructies in de telefoon, en je bent klaar om uren te bellen en te smsen. En je bent vooral klaar om er mee aan den toog te stoefen.

3. Koop hier een Easysim/Kingsim – plaats het als volgt in je Phone.
4. Bel en SMS

Let op: tijdens de laatste Keynote van Steve Jobs, werd een nieuwe firmware voorgesteld: de 1.1.3. Deze firmware is nog niet te jailbreaken, en dus ook niet te unlocken met een speciale bypass-sim.

Laat je trouwens niet afzetten door unlockservices die je 150 euro aanrekenen, pure waanzin. Terug over naar reclame!!

In un giorno 2 post… troppi! Allora visto che nel post precedente abbiamo parlato della TurboSim, ora non ci resta che parlare della StealthSim.
Piccola premessa: a quanto pare la StealthSim acquistabile qui dovrebbe essere la soluzione più semplice per chi non ha voglia di smanettare anche se in Italia si trova solo su ebay e i prezzi come sempre sono maggiori di quanto possano essere ad acquistarli direttamente on line presso il sito del distributore (peccato che sia in Canada).
Quindi:
Per la StealthSim, il lavoro è molto semplice. Basta procurarsi il seguente materiale e guardare il video qua sotto:

Una matita dell’ikea
Un tronchesino oppure un taglierino.

Ogni promessa è debito. Quindi ecco di seguito una guida per l’installazione e la preparazione della turbosim. Oramai questa sim si trova solo su ebay poichè il produttore non riesce a star dietro con gli ordini e quindi i prezzi sono dettati dal mercato…

1. Dall’iPhone andiamo in Impostazioni→ Generale→ Blocco automatico→ Mai.

2. Connettiamo l’iPhone alla rete WLAN ed in dettagli prendiamo nota dell’indirizzo IP assegnato al nostro IPhone.
3. Dal menù dell’iPhone, clicchiamo Installer > Install > System e installiamo i seguenti pacchetti: BSD Subsystem e CommunitySources.
4. Ora scarichiamo questo file e scompattiamolo in una cartella sul desktop
5. Ora lanciamo winscp (per Win)
6. Con winscp connettiamo all’iPhone cliccando su Nuova Connessione e facciamo queste scelte:
Protocol: SFTP
Server: l’indirizzo ip che si siamo annotati poco fa
Username: root
Password: alpine
7. Usiamo winscp per copiare tutti i file nella cartella /turbo precedentemente creata nella root dell’iPhone, selezioniamo tutti i file, tasto destro -> opzioni e diamo tutti i diritti a 0755.
8. Riavviamo l’iPhone.
9. Inizia la parte manuale! In fondo alla guida troverete un piccolo tutorial ad immagini per ritagliare la sim.
Ritagliamo la sim che abbiamo trovato insieme al nostro Iphone e quella che vorremmo poi usare (per intenderci quella vodafone, tim ecc…) in modo che combacino bene con la turbosim…
Mi raccomando! Dobbiamo essere gentili! Sono passaggi molto delicati e una volta tagliata male la sim la si può buttare!
10. ORA inseriamo la combinazione Turbosim+SimUFFICIALE(quella del carrier ovvero AT&T ) DELICATAMENTE dentro il telefono.
11. scarichiamo Putty, colleghiamo via ssh, e inseriamo la password “alpine”.
12. Ora da Putty diamo i seguenti comandi (copiateli e incollateli per non sbagliare!):

launchctl unload –w

/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

cd /turbo

./turbo-iphone-smsreset

./turbo-info

./turbo-rm-apps

./turbo-app ./applesaft.trb

launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

13. Riavviamo l’iPhone…. CI SIAMO QUASI!
14. Dall’iPhone andiamo nel menù Impostazioni -> Telefono -> Applicazioni SIM -> Apple Saft -> Set.
15. Ora togliamo la combinazione della turbosim dal telefono con cura e delicatamente.
16. Sostiuiamo la sim originale con la nostra, rimettiamo la turbosim con la nostra sim dentro l’iPhone sempre con delicatezza.

17. Riavviamo di nuovo il telefono, e……
18. Abbiamo un Iphone 1.1.2 completamente funzionante con la Turbosim!!!

Alla fine posizionare la nostra sim sotto e la TurboSim sopra coi contatti che aderiscono perfettamente alla nostra sim. Infilate delicatamente nell’Iphone. Se trovate resistenza vuol dire che non è perfettamente allineato, togliete, allineate, rimettete.

Ok, ainda não se descobriu como desbloquear o iPhone com o sistema 1.1.1, mas já se achou uma maneira de voltar para o 1.0.2.  Se o método original de desbloqueio foi o TurboSIM (que foi o meu) da para usar numa boa. Alias, o pessoal tem comentado que na realidade com este método ele continua unlock numa boa, o problema é que a habilitação inicial via iTunes é impossível de se realizar. Eu sempre desconfiei que usando TurboSIM seria mais eficiente, pois não existe nenhum tipo de software ou modificação no aparelho em si, mas a alteração é feita no chip da operadora com a ajuda do TurboSIM que possui uma memória. Em outras palavras o iPhone sempre jura que é um chip legítimo da AT&T. Mas vamos dar mais um tempo e ver como as coisas evoluem.Fonte: Gizmodo

Par contre, la manipulation est plutôt complexe et elle requiert une Turbo SIM. J’imagine qu’un petit logiciel sortira bientôt et fera le tout avec un seul click! C’est une question de jours/semaines.

First, your phone must be activated (with the AT&T SIM), jailbreaked, and with SSH and vim. Refer to previous tutorials to do that

- Download the port of Bladox utilities http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/show…5&postcount=16 on your computer, extract it on your computer (you need the binary file turbo-app)

- Download AppleSaft 0.92 from Bladox (see the link on their forum, don’t remember it), extract it on your computer (you need the .trb file)

- Turn on your phone with Turbo SIM + AT&T subscription

- Disable CommCenter – ssh to your phone, vim /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist add

If you don’t like vim, you can do this modification on your desktop computer (iPhuc/iPhoneInterface getfile, modify the file, and putfile)

ESC : command mode (from insert mode)

dd : delete the current line (in command mode)

:w! : save (in command mode)

:q! : quit (in command mode)

- Reboot

- Copy turbo-app to your phone (for example in /opt/bladox)

- Copy applesaft.trb to your phone (for example in /tmp)

- ssh to your phone, set the executable permission to turbo-app (chmod a+x /opt/bladox/turbo-app) and run it with /opt/bladox/turbo-app /tmp/applesaft.trb. It should take approximately 30 seconds and you shouldn’t see any error. Please panic if you see one

- Reenable CommCenter – ssh to your phone, vim
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist and delete the lines you added previously

- Reboot

- Go into Settings/Phone/SIM Applications/Apple Saft and choose Set

- Turn off your phone

- Turn on your phone with Turbo SIM + your subscription and test

A few answers for common questions:
1. This method works with V2 and V3 cards. CONFIRMED!

2. You will need to cut the card however is just the plastic you cutting.

3. A new software was released by Bladox (not tested yet) that allows you to enter the values manually so you won’t need an AT&T or cut your AT&T if you don’t want to.

4. Some people have reported that by using the method where you copy your iPhone AT&T SIM CCID and IMSI it doesnt require you to deactivate and activate. If deactivation and Activation is required is just a simple step – Software available here: http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/index.php/IASign

5. The only tested way requires you to use a second phone to upload the application. For that your phone needs to be connected to you computer via Bluetooth (serial available) or via cable (with serial available). www.gurmelas.dyndns.org gives you an example with Razr.
