This one didn’t seem to have the flair that is usually associated with James Bond. Maybe it’s just because of the fact that I’ve watched too many movies and have a feel for gadgets. Either way this one was a gadget-less mission.

Bond seems to be on the verge of breaking down. He keeps irregular timings, he keeps making mistakes meant for a much lower class of me, and there is an aura of forgetfulness around him.

M is then given advice by a psychologist friend to allow Bond to recover slowly by giving him a mission that will bring him back to his senses. It is then that Bond is sent for a diplomatic visit to Tiger Tanaka in Japan who is a high honcho in the secret service. To retrieve something that England needs, Bond finds himself trapped in the necessity to overcome death itself by trying to kill a world-wide crimnal who harbors an Island of Death.

Katie Price has succeeded to “accidentally” show her breasts twice in 60 minutes after her arrival in the Australian jungle for the show “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of here!”.

If the first time Jordan remained only in a bathing suit after a swim in an improvised pool, she showed more when she washed herself from the dirty water in which she just swam.

Jordan, who was allegedly paid 350,000 pounds to take part in the show, said she didn’t had patience and went to take a shower just right after the pool stunt. The cameraman followed her and shot the scene.

For a while now, I’ve been collaborating with someone I went to school with. He plays guitar, and I obviously DJ.

I’ve been trying to get him into the whole social media thing, as I think it’s a great way to get feedback on the stuff you make, plus I find it a lot of fun. We have now created a Spamthrax channel on YouTube.

We’ve had a MySpace for a while where we have a couple of uploads, but I thought it would be fun to have a YouTube channel where we can upload vlogs and also any random videos we make whilst we’re making music. I have an interest in making videos, not in a serious way, but I do like playing around with Windows Movie Maker.

For a laugh, our first upload was a cereal comparison.

Although this isn’t a serious comparison, there are some facts in there, and we did realise that the cheaper option actually tasted the same. That is the other half of Spamthrax in the video, while I am taking care of the (poor) camera work.

Last night I decided to make a video out of all the footage I’ve taken over the past few months, from going to gigs, bowling, videoing a drive as a passenger and at the driving range. It holds personal value so I enjoy the video, but I don’t know what the public would make of it.

I wanted to keep my lilteereviews channel strictly music only, so this Spamthrax channel will see a lot more frequent uploads, they just won’t all be music related.

1. Elite Status Twice as Fast – This promotion runs from September 9 to December 15, 2009 and is as easy as booking a flight on Continental then flying.  You get double the miles which are used to qualify you for elite status.  Free upgrades!
2. Extra Mile program – This is in keeping with other major airlines efforts to charge fees for doing nothing, but, here it is anyway.  Valid for all of 2010 (January 1 to December 31), the extra mile program gets you 50% extra miles on all flights depending on the fee you choose.  The catch is it’s only valid up to 12,500 to 17,500 miles and does not count towards elite status.

If you just do these 2 things, you’ll be on your way to free award travel, and free upgrades in no time!

We all know the saying, “lightning never strikes twice.”  Well, that is not true because we should know that there are some people out there who have been struck by lightning twice or more.  It disappoints me when people say that they don’t want to repeat their past mistakes with the future generations.  I know I have said that you should not live in the past, but here is a new one.  Don’t live in the past only learn from it.  It is just pulling references and experiences from the past.

I actually do know this from experience with my own family.  My mother has never tried to push me or my sister to do any of our dreams.  She would prefer that we stay on the safe side.  I have never been told by either of my parents that I have done a good job.  Instead, I always expect to hear a but after anything.  I’ve always expected that I screwed something up that I have to fix.  My mother has never been encouraged when she was growing up and has done the same thing to us.

So I say NEVERMORE to this.  If I do succeed at what I am trying to do I will have a career that I enjoy and am good at.  Not a job that I am good at and hate.  I know I am good at certain things, but I do believe that happiness is doing something you love everyday.

ne-am obisnuit in ultimul timp cu discutiile prin telefon, pe internet, incat ne traim relatiile acolo, decidem sa fim impreuna pe mess, mai tarziu te plictisesti, nu ai un motiv concret, dai un sms, ti se pare mai simplu sa te desparti asa.

I am loving this time spent rediscovering London with my little family. I finally got to see Abbey Road! We attempted the iconic Beatles pose but the weather has been cruel. It’s been raining like mad, so we had to skip the SouthBank walk next to the London Eye.

But here’s what else I am in love with. So good you’ll listen to it twice:

My dear friend Heba made me discover this band from Sweden on my last trip to Egypt.  They are actually quite big! For shame, I haven’t heard of them ealrier. Fits the music I’m into lately: smooth female vocals in a sweet and enveloping composition of little everyday things. Simplicty wins. This song and video are absolutely dreamy.

Me and my passports

Serious questions have been raised over Britain’s border security after a BBC journalist entered the UK twice on fake and stolen passports.

Shahida Tulaganova obtained 20 illegal passports – each from an EU country, including the UK – within months.

Those in the trade told her to travel via sea or bus, saying port security was less stringent than airports.

The Home Office said it works closely with the EU to tackle the crime, taking the issue of false documents seriously.

In 2004, 8,285 fraudulent documents were detected at UK ports of entry, according to Home Office figures.

Entering the UK on a fake or stolen passport carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in jail, while making a false statement to obtain a passport can lead to a prison sentence of up to two years.

Shahida travelled across Europe to obtain her false documents for her Panorama investigation.

They ranged in price from just £250 to more than £1,500. Some were provided within several days, while others took weeks.

She found her first illegal passport dealer in the centre of London – through an advertisement in a Russian language newspaper.

The dealer – Henry – provided her with a genuine Czech passport, by getting someone who looked like her to apply for one, using her photo.

Forgery detection

Shahida’s investigation poses questions over the number of non-EU nationals entering Britain on illegal passports. She uses Poland as an example.

“Since [Poland] country joined the EU less than two years ago a quarter of a million Poles have left and legally registered for work in Britain,” she says.

“But if my contacts are right, many of these may not have been Poles at all, but illegal immigrants using fake passports.”

Shahida enters Britain via boat – from Spain to Portsmouth – on a fake Latvian passport, and then later on the Eurostar using a stolen Estonian passport.

Despite information on stolen passports being registered to a central Interpol database, her Estonian passport goes undetected.

The Home Office says there is a “comprehensive bilateral exchange of information between member states regarding the issue of lost and stolen EU passports”.

It maintains that in addition to this, all immigration officers are highly trained in identifying false documents.

“All our immigration officers at British ports are trained in forgery detection techniques and have access to specialist forgery detection equipment,” a spokesperson said.

The government has also introduced biometric e-passports with images securely stored inside chips, in an attempt to combat forgery and improve the security of British passports.
