<p>Kristen is one of the most popular actresses throughout the world because of the Twilight series. She has grown to be a fashion inspiration as well! If you haven’t seen her on the red carpet premier for the latest Twilight movie, you should look her up!</p>

Also, it is good to powder up oil zones such as nose, forehead, and chin.</p>
<p>Make sure to watch Breaking Dawn Part 2! There is a pretty crazy ending!</p>

<description><![CDATA[It&#8217;s been over a week since Erin, Melissa and I went to the theater for our final Twilight exp]]></description>

<p>It&#8217;s been over a week since Erin, Melissa and I went to the theater for our final Twilight experience.  Overall, I liked it &#8211; if only they&#8217;d been bold enough to change Reneesme&#8217;s name!  Poor kid.  Even though the book was broken into two movies, it still had to skim over some parts &#8211; necessarily, I think, but I still felt the loss, particularly of Charley.  He&#8217;s in the movie but minimally &#8211; his acceptance of Bella&#8217;s &#8220;change&#8221; and Reneesme&#8217;s rapid growth are glossed over.  That said, the scene between him and Jacob was hilarious.  I love Billy Burke &#8211; not enough to continue watching <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2070791/" target="_blank"><em>Revolution</em></a> but that&#8217;s a post for another day.</p>
<p>What I didn&#8217;t like about the movie can mostly be traced back to the story itself &#8211; Jacob&#8217;s feelings for Bella were too easily resolved.  What bothered me most about this in the movie was the scene after Bella finds out why Jacob&#8217;s suddenly okay with her and Edward &#8211; he&#8217;s imprinted on her daughter.  I&#8217;m still angry about that and I&#8217;m not the fictional mother of the child so I understand the rage.  What I don&#8217;t understand is everyone standing around gawking while she throws Jake around &#8211; shouldn&#8217;t someone have been concerned that she would really hurt him?  And Edward, really?  I know you&#8217;re still upset about the fact that Jacob spent the better part of the last two movies flaunting his muscles and trying to steal your girl but laughing while she tosses him about like a ragdoll is lame.</p>
<p>And then there&#8217;s &#8220;the scene&#8221; &#8211; you&#8217;ll know it when you see it.  It was effective but I won&#8217;t deny it ticked me off.  I usually like twists but this one annoyed me, probably because it hit my emotions HARD.  My outbursts were as follows:  Nooo (with a sad voice), What the hell? (with an angry voice) and, No Freakin&#8217; Way (in an &#8220;I&#8217;m Outta Here&#8221; voice).  Now that I&#8217;ve had sufficient time to recover, I&#8217;ll acknowledge that the twist did add some necessary action to the end of the story.  Maybe I&#8217;ll be able to appreciate it the next time I watch it.</p>

<p>Stephenie Meyer&#8217;s life changed dramatically on June 2, 2003. The stay-at-home mother of three young sons woke up from a dream featuring seemingly real characters that she could not get out of her head.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I spent most of my day helping my son complete a collage for his social studies class. He is the type that cannot express himself, especially in writing. The questions he had to answer meant he had to talk about himself to define how his culture plays a part in his life. So I prodded him about every question until he had them all answered then we had to find pictures that represented at least 8 areas to create the collage.  Who knew it could take the better part of the day?</p>
<p>As a treat I went to see Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2. I tried to take my son, but he refused to go because he had other plans which meant he wanted to play on the computer. So he stayed with his grandparents. Did I feel bad going and leaving him behind. Yes, since he had wanted to see it, but it was his choice. I&#8217;ll buy the DVD when it is released and we&#8217;ll watch it together then. I read most of the book to him  &#8230; gosh has it really been four years ago now? Anyway it was great. I think it was better than all the other ones.</p>

<p>(I started writing summaries but then I realised my post was getting rather long so I may have to do individual blogs for each of my all time favourites. Just my list of favourites could get a bit long winded.)</p>
<p>Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See: This book is based on olden day China when foot binding was still in fashion. The torturous ritual is described in much detail and the book explores how women grew stronger and became heard amongst the men. A beautifully written novel.</p>
<p>Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden<br />
A story about the struggles in life where a poor girl is sold into the Geisha world. Learning how to serve and entertain men, how to be beautiful, talented and the importance of the Tea Ceremony resemblance in Japan. This book follows Satsu through her entire life, telling her story on her career where she has many rivals who strive to be number 1. Her fight to be the best that she can be is told in a very emotional story.</p>
<p>Otori Trilogy by Lian Hearn (Across the nightingale floor book 1)<br />
A series based on Feudal Japan and Samurai clans. This book follows Takeo, a man on his quest to avenge his father. Takeo is taken in by a clan lord who trains him to be a warrior and helps him fulfill his dream. Takeo climbs the ranks meeting love and loss on his journey. One of my very favourite series. Worth re-reading, very highly recommended!</p>
<p>Hunger Games Trilogy<br />
I got through this series amazingly quickly. Please read the book and don&#8217;t watch the movie!</p>
<p>Fifty Shades Trilogy by EL James<br />
A very steamy series, with lots of sex and Bondage. Recommended as bedtime reading and probably best to read alone. Christian Grey, such a wonderful character. It&#8217;s nice to see the change in him brought on by innocent Anastasia. How a broken man can be fixed by love.</p>
<p>Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella<br />
Not my usual choice but very glad I picked these up. Being not much of a shopper, I was extremely surprised that I enjoyed this series. All about designer clothes and accessories. How a normal girl is completely and utterly obsessed with shopping. A fun and easy to read series. Recommended as Summer reading.</p>
<p>Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer<br />
My love for Vampires makes me automatically biased toward these books. Well done Stephanie Meyer for having her own idea on why vampires hate sunlight. This series is about Bella the human, Edward the Vampire and Jacob the werewolf. What a combination! Vampires and werewolves hate one another but they must tolerate one another for the sake of a human that they both love. High school is so much more interesting as a Vampire!</p>
<p>Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr<br />
Faeries&#8230; Not all lovely, small and nice! I love Melissa Marr&#8217;s imagination. You have summer faeries, winter faeries, dark faeries all with their own queens and kings. Strengths and weaknesses depending on the time of year. In my mind, everything sprung to life. Even in my mid 20&#8242;s this series was a nice find! Recommended for anyone with an open mind.</p>
<p>P.S I Love You by Cecelia Ahern<br />
A real tear jerker. One message every month, for a year after he died. To help his loved one learn to carry on living without him. Every girl must read this one! (Hope that didn&#8217;t sound too sexist!)</p>

<p>Pero ang post na &#8216;to ay tungkol sa part 2 ng breaking dawn. Maraming nagsasabi na maganda talaga ang part 2 ng breaking dawn dahil sa kakaibang twist na nangyari sa movie. Na-try ko naman basahin ang twilight book series kaso hindi ko talaga tinagalan ang pagbabasa nito. Pero napanood ko naman yun past movies. Itong part 1 &#38; 2 ng breaking dawn ang hindi ko napapanood.</p>
<p>Dahil madami talaga ang nagagandahan sa part 2, susubukan kong panoorin ang movie. Gusto ko lang naman malaman kung ano yung twist na yun, curious lang talaga ako. Pero hindi pa rin magbabago ang desisyon ko, na hindi ko talaga gusto ang twilight series (sorry for the fans).</p>

The human race has been made redundant because of our lack of empathy (not to be confused with antipathy or indifference). Complacency has replaced the &#8220;we&#8221; for &#8220;you&#8221;; and we do not know the reason other than that the Twilight series is coming to a close&#8230;Think!!! </p>
<p>&#8220;Because less than three percent of you people read books! Because less than fifteen percent of you read newspapers! Because the only truth you know is what you get over this tube.<br />
Right now, there is a whole, an entire generation that never knew anything that didn&#8217;t come out of this tube! This tube is the Gospel, the ultimate revelation. This tube can make or break presidents, popes, prime ministers&#8230; This tube is the most awesome God-damned force in the whole godless world, and woe is us if it ever falls in to the hands of the wrong people.<br />

<title><![CDATA[Vampires: A Secret About Me]]></title>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Vampires: Creatures of the night, immortal, inhuman strength, fangs, feed on blood (preferably human), insanely acute hearing, amazing speed. Its only weakness is sunlight, decapitation or a stake to the heart.</p>
<p>I have a taken a deep interest in Vampires. Ever since I was a young girl, I always wanted to believe that they exist. How amazing would it be to live forever? You would have all the time in the world to accomplish everything you set your heart to.</p>
<p>I have watched as many Vampire movies as I have heard of. I am currently still trying to read through the list of vampire books that are out there. There is such an extensive list of books, I&#8217;m not sure that I will manage to complete this reading list but I will give it a good try <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>The &#8220;Twilight Saga&#8221; was fun and easy to read. The characters came to life in my imagination and I always thought &#8220;How wonderful would it feel to be Bella?&#8221;. Loved by 2 different races of supernatural creatures. Protected by so many who care for her so much they would die for her. Unfortunately the Movie didn&#8217;t do the book any justice. The vampires looked too pale, the cast all looked expressionless which was such a disappointment compared to how everything came to life in my thoughts. No offence intended but the movie looked low budget and not even close to how Stephanie Myers portrayed the people and scenes in her writing.</p>
<p>I am currently watching the Vampire Diary TV Series. Every time I watch an episode I wish time could stand still so I can enjoy my guilty pleasure for the rest of time.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s a whole collection of vampire books that entice readers into the dark side. The &#8220;Black Dagger Brotherhood&#8221; by J R Ward is a wonderful series that I am slowly taking my time to enjoy. This series is all about the fight between Vampires with different beliefs. The ones who want to destroy, enslave and feed from humans and the &#8216;Brotherhood&#8217; who thrive for order and peace between humans and their own race.</p>
<p>&#8220;A Discovery of Witches&#8221; by Deborah Harkness. This book took a while to warm to, but the more you read, the more you get pulled into the story.</p>
<p>Sherrilyn Kenyon&#8217;s &#8220;Dark Hunter&#8221; series is a very much adult series. With very explicit imaginative scenes between vampires with their many supernatural powers. Although I have only read one book from this series, this is highly recommended.</p>
<p>&#8220;The House of Night&#8221; series by P.C Cast is for younger vampire lovers. More for young teens. This series is about a boarding school for vampires who are distinguished by their tattoo like &#8216;markings&#8217;, the more powerful they are, the more intricate and extravagant their markings become. With a strong sense of elemental magic weaved into this story. The series explores  friendships, change in people, saving people and more creatures of the night.</p>
<p>This was just the start to my discovery of Vampires. When I have more time I will be adding to this never ending compilation of what I would personally recommend. Whether it be books, movies or TV series, anything and everything to do with Vampires will be coming soon.</p>

I was going to wait a while, but he was like, &#8220;No let&#8217;s go today.&#8221; So we hit up the theater and saw the movie. After watching about a million hours of a stupid CG robot doing various movie related things, then watching thirty minutes or so of more movie previews, the movie finally started. I did get to watch the trailer for <em>World War Z</em> while I was there. I&#8217;m going to try to read the book of that before I watch the movie.</p>
<p><strong>Summary:</strong></p>
<p>Anyways, the movie starts out right away with Bella being her new vampire self. No mention of the whole pain thing in the movie. Edward is there and they&#8217;re both the same temperature, blah, blah, blah. Bella and Edward go hunting. Bella smells a human and then turns away. She kills a mountain lion. I thought the running parts were a little cheesy. I know the vampires are supposed to be super fast, but I still don&#8217;t think the whole running sequence was everything that it should have been.</p>
<p>Anyways, Bella is officially welcomed to the family. She meets her daughter who already looks like she is several months old. Nessie can show things to others. No mention in the movie about what Nessie eats. That was kind of a big part of the explanation of Nessie in the book. Jacob is there. There is this interesting scene between Jacob and Bella when Bella finds out that Jacob has imprinted on Nessie.</p>
<p>Charlie even gets brought into the whole mess. The Cullens are originally going to tell Charlie that Bella has died, then they are going to leave. Jacob takes matters into his own hands. He goes to see Charlie and changes into a wolf right before Charlie&#8217;s eyes. The scene where Jacob is taking off all of his clothes and explaining that weird things happen every day is somewhat humorous. Charlie gets to meet both Nessie and the new Bella, he&#8217;s also dating Sue Clearwater now.</p>
<p>One of the cousins from Alaska sees Nessie. Nessie is not a normal kid and has some extra abilities. The cousins think that the Cullens have made an immortal child and goes to tell the Volturi. Alice sees that the Volturi are coming to get the Cullens. Making an immortal child is illegal in the vampire world.</p>
<p>The Cullens immediately start gathering many friends to help out and be witnesses to the Volturi that Nessie is not an immortal child. All kinds of vampires from all over the world come to the aid of the Cullens. Bella discovers her vampire gift. Alice and Jasper disappear in the meantime.</p>
<p>The Volturi do show up and things get interesting.</p>
<p><strong>What  I liked: </strong>There is this great moment in the movie where you gasp. You&#8217;re surprised. It&#8217;s actually a really brilliant moment in the movie. In my opinion, it&#8217;s the best part of the movie. It has something to do with alternate scenarios and it&#8217;s brilliant. I don&#8217;t want to ruin it, but it&#8217;s pretty awesome.</p>
<p>I do like the emphasis on forever. The ending of the movie is all about the word forever. This sticks with the theme that Stephanie has inserted into the series about being together forever, eternal marriage, marriage for all time and eternity. I thought it was rather nice that this concept was kept in the movie.</p>
<p>There is also this great montage at the end that shows each of the characters throughout the entire series and who they were played by. It was sort of like a memorial to the series and I thought it was pretty neat.</p>
<p>There are some great butt-kicking scenes at one point.</p>
<p>In reviewing all the movies in my head, I think this is the best one. I predicted that I would feel that way long ago. I liked <em>Breaking Dawn</em> the best out of the book series. The first part was kind of painful to watch. Bella looked nasty. It was very lovey-dovey. I was also seriously going to laugh if it had been decided to do some nudity on Bella&#8217;s part. With this movie I feel like the characters come into their own. Bella has found what she has always been looking for even if she didn&#8217;t always know she was looking for it. Jacob finds his imprintation partner, or however you would say that. The Cullen family is complete. Everyone is paired up and immortal, this is yet another theme that Stephanie has put in her series from Mormonism.</p>
<p>The series is still very clean and I think that is one of the points that makes vampire fans dis the entire series. Traditional vampire stories are all full of blood and guts, but this isn&#8217;t a traditional story. One does have to remember that it&#8217;s mainly a love story and it&#8217;s heavily influenced by Mormonism, which isn&#8217;t blood and guts at all, ever. Things are going to be more clean. I wouldn&#8217;t necessarily bring a little kid to this movie, but the fact is that it&#8217;s clean enough to where you could bring a little kid to this movie and the kid would probably be fine afterwards.</p>
<p><strong>What  I didn&#8217;t like:</strong> There was still a large part of the movie that was all googly-love, which isn&#8217;t bad in itself, but sometimes you&#8217;re just not in the mood for that sort of thing. I had a splitting headache and didn&#8217;t really have the patience for all the sappy.</p>
<p>Like I said, I think the running scenes were a little stupid. Well, they weren&#8217;t stupid, I just don&#8217;t think they were necessarily presented in the right manner. I don&#8217;t have suggestions for how they could have been presented, but I think the whole thing could have been presented better.</p>
<p>There are some scenes that will make you gasp. You&#8217;ll be shouting, &#8220;No,&#8221; in your head. You&#8217;ll be like, &#8220;I don&#8217;t remember that from the book,&#8221; or at least that is what I was doing. At this point I don&#8217;t actually remember whether some of these things were in the book or it was just a brilliant ploy on the movie-makers&#8217; parts.</p>
<p>Overall, I think it&#8217;s the best movie in the series, but it&#8217;s still not going to stand up to your Hunger Games or your Harry Potter, it&#8217;s alright though.</p>

<p>My Mom said she would see it with me as long as none of the major characters died, especially Charlie, Bella&#8217;s Dad.  We love him!</p>

<p>It was a good ending to the series.  All the fans we saw it with seemed happy with the ending too!</p>
<p>There was the battle scene where my Mom kicked my ankle and said &#8216;I thought you said nobody died!!&#8217;</p>
<p>I was too busy sitting there with my jaw dropped to say anything!</p>
<p>A few moments later all was clear.  Hey writers you got me!!!</p>
<p>It was cool how the end credits gave a nod to the actors that had been in all the films!</p>
<p>I know there are cynics out there, but for pure entertainment this movie was a 9 out of 10.  Plus my Mom liked it too!  : )</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This weekend Breaking Dawn 2 is released in cinemas across Britain.</p>
<p>Bella, now a vampire, must find and work on her special vampire skill. Jacob is there to protect baby Renesmee after he &#8220;Imprinted&#8221; on her. The Voltari find out about the forbidden vampire child and are coming to destroy her. The Cullens must protect their family, they recruit vampires from around the world in preparation for the final battle.</p>
<p>Will it be the end of this series? or will there be an ending from which sequels can be added? I hope the film will not have so many dark and hard to see scenes. I found myself peering at the screen for some of Breaking Dawn part 1 just to make out what was going on. I&#8217;ve re-watched the first three films in the series several times, but I must say, splitting the last book into 2 films didn&#8217;t encourage me to watch Breaking Dawn 1 over and over. Let&#8217;s hope this last film inspires me again.</p>

<description><![CDATA[Last night, three good friends and myself settled into our seats at the theater to watch the last mo]]></description>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last night, three good friends and myself settled into our seats at the theater to watch the last movie in the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn Part 2.  Yes, at 10:00pm. The earliest release time.</p>
<p>Now before you go judging me, I need to explain what led me to that theater seat.  Maybe you&#8217;ll understand, maybe you won&#8217;t. Either way, I&#8217;m not ashamed.</p>
<p>My &#8220;Twilight&#8221; story started about five 1/2 years ago.  I was working at a Honda dealership as a service cashier with my best friend in the whole world, K.  One night, a customer came to pick up her car and I noticed that she had <em>Confessions of a Shopaholic</em> with her.  I had heard about it, and wanted to read it, so I asked her about it.</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s okay.&#8221;  She sighed,  &#8220;But, there&#8217;s a better book, if you want to read it.  It&#8217;s called Twilight.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Twilight?&#8221;  I questioned.  The title sounded odd.  Nothing along the lines of a Sophie Kinsella book.</p>
<p>&#8220;<em>Twilight</em>.  That&#8217;s all I&#8217;ll say.  Just read it.  The next time I come here, you better have read it!&#8221;</p>
<p>I laughed and agreed, knowing full well that I&#8217;d probably forget about it.  Little did I know that just a year later it would have completely blown up in the media and in retail, that hardly anyone would be immune to hearing it&#8217;s name, and that I would be <strong>obsessed.  </strong></p>
<p>A few months later while at work, my bestie (K) started to talk about books.  She stopped what she was doing to explain the latest one.  &#8220;So, I&#8217;m reading this book&#8230;&#8221;  She paused, attempting to wipe an embarrassed smile from her face and failing miserably. &#8220;And it&#8217;s about vampires&#8230;BUT IT&#8217;S REALLY GOOD, I SWEAR!  You should read it.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;What&#8217;s it called?&#8221;  I instantly started getting visions of Anne Rice novels.<br />
&#8220;Twilight.&#8221;  Ahhh.  The book the customer made me promise to read a few months earlier, I <strong>did</strong> remember.  Vaguely.<br />
&#8220;Twilight?&#8221; I still asked.<br />
&#8220;Yes.  And it sounds weird, but I promise.  But it gets good.  You just have to read it.  And it&#8217;s set in Washington!&#8221;</p>
<p>I love books and movies set here, so my ears perked up.  When she mentioned it took place in a town I was very familiar with, having spent summers there with an aunt, I was even more interested.</p>
<p>What originally grabbed my attention was finding the connections of the town I knew, and digging out the anomalies.   After that I slowly started to get caught up in the somewhat creepy vibe of the book.  Eventually, I was totally hooked on this story and ate every little bit of it up.  I read the first three books, cumulatively within 24 hours, I&#8217;m sure.</p>
<p>K mentioned that her friend R was into it, too.  R&#8217;s best friend H got <em>her </em>hooked on it.  A few weeks later I was getting introduced to both R and H as fellow Twilight lovers.  We talked about it constantly.  I never knew that a group of four girls could talk about one book in such detail for so long, but we did.  And as it turned out,  H&#8217;s grandmother had a cabin close to Forks.  The word was that Forks was taking this book and running with it, making the town as much of a tourist spot as it could.  Being as crazy about the book as we were, we decided to spend a weekend out there, naturally.</p>
<p>They were friends of K&#8217;s, but I didn&#8217;t know R and H very well, only meeting them a few times before spending the weekend together. Despite our common interest, I was a little nervous to be spending an entire weekend with two girls I didn&#8217;t know well and didn&#8217;t like when I first met them (they didn&#8217;t like me much, either).  My worry ended up being for naught.  That one weekend was so memorable and fun in so many other ways (even BESIDES the Twilight aspect) that none of us will ever forget it.</p>
<p>We were big fans.  We spent that entire summer (into the fall and winter, too) being completely enveloped in everything that was Twilight.  We went to the midnight release of the last book, and the midnight release of the first movie. Gushing through every bit.</p>
<p>Four years after the first movie release, sitting in that theater, I knew that a lot had changed.  We&#8217;ve grown up, we&#8217;ve gone through a lot, and our lives are in completely different directions than they were when we went on that first weekend trip to Forks.  Yet, we&#8217;re all still friends.</p>
<p>R &#38; H went from two girls I didn&#8217;t know/didn&#8217;t like to being two of my closest friends whom I love dearly. And of course, K is still my very best bestie.  I would have not had the pleasure of being their friend if Twilight never existed.  To me, Twilight is not just about a sub-par book/movie with bad acting and effects full of overly melodramatic lines and hot men; it&#8217;s about the friends that I gained from it.  What made this last movie important was that it was the only movie since the very first one that we were able to all be together for.  Full circle.  We may not have been nearly as excited to see this movie as we were the first one, and we may have laughed a little more at &#8220;serious&#8221; parts than we should have, but we were <strong>all together</strong> doing those things.  In the same row, in the same room, in the same time zone.</p>
<p>We can now spend our years as more &#8220;mature&#8221; adults laughing at our times together surrounding this book.  And as embarrassing as our obsession was, I&#8217;m glad that it came with amazing memories and even better friendships that will last so much longer than the craze of Twilight did.</p>

<p>I am so glad the entire <a class="zem_slink" title="Twilight (series)" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twilight_%28series%29" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">Twilight series</a> is ending.  Ever since the first movie came out in 2008 the movie franchise has made a boatload of money.  If you have lived under a rock in the last few years and are asking yourself &#8220;what is Twilight?&#8221;  Let me put it into words for people who have not seen one of these movies like me.  The franchise is about women having a relationship with vampires and werewolves.  Basically it&#8217;s your ultimate <a class="zem_slink" title="Chick flick" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chick_flick" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">chick flick</a> and many girls and women have fallen in love with this story!</p>

<p>Most guys out there thinks the Twilight series is a huge waste of time.  Until their girlfriends or wife&#8217;s drags them to see this boring film.  I wish the Twilight series was made for guys.  If they used more women and fewer men; the guys would be going nuts for this film   Video is NSFW.</p>

<p>For all the Vampire and Werewolf fans out there.  You need to quit living like it&#8217;s 1999.  Zombies are so hot right now!  The zombies would take care of the vampires and werewolves quickly.  And admit it; zombies would make a better love story than vampires! It&#8217;s time to kill off the vampires!</p>

<p>I am sure Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 2 will do very well at the box office this weekend.  Of course I will not be there!  Instead I have found a couple of parody Twilight videos you can enjoy.  Now I can&#8217;t not wait for The Hobbit to come out in December.  That movie will be the ultimate dude flick.  For women; well it depends on their taste.</p>

<p>The last movie in the “<strong>Twilight</strong>” series, “<strong>Breaking Dawn Part 2</strong>,” is going to screen at <strong>midnight</strong> movies all over tonight, but several theaters are going to show the ENTIRE series leading up to that.</p>
<p>That’s four movies at approximately two hours a piece, so you’re going to LOOK like a vampire when you come out of there.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Top Five: Most Annoying Female Literary Characters (Part 1)]]></title>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m nerdy enough to say that without a doubt books were my first friend. Which is probably why still today I fall in love so easily with fictional characters even if they are 1000-year-old half-vampire/half-werewolves (equals full sexy). But back to the topic, I was a bit of loner with much-older siblings and all of my friends living out of the area and we didn&#8217;t have DSTV so TV for kids ended at like 2pm when the soapies reruns start, so I started reading. Many of my books were gifts or my sister&#8217;s old books so I indulged in the classics &#8211; Little Women, What Katy Did, Pollyanna, Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl. Mostly there would be a character that I would relate to &#8211; another young girl who was terribly shy and would escape to the magical world of books etc. &#8211; but every now and then there would be a character who would literally make me want to pull my hair out strand for strand because they were so super annoying.</p>

<p>As I got older the characters just got worse and so I present to you my totally subjective list of top 5 most annoying female literary characters:</p>

<p><strong>1. Bella Swan</strong></p>
<p>Bella. Lover of Edward. Apple of Jacob&#8217;s eye. Mother of Renesmee. Daughter of Charlie and Renee. You get the drift. The main character in the all-too-famous <em>Twilight </em>series. I must admit I was not always a hater, in the first book I was totes on the  Bella-and-Edward-Forever team and Kristin Stewart was a seemingly happy young girl dating that guy from <em>Sky High </em>(I really really like that movie) but now she seems constantly miserable like someone forced her to be the Twilight films and forced her to date her attractive costar, girl really needs to loosen up a bit. But back to Bella, she became the thorn in my side in <em>New Moon,</em> that book was already a pain to get through and Bella constant whining and running off of cliffs just annoyed me so much more. Also I must add that I do think Edward was being a tad dramatic by moving away, he could&#8217;ve just put his brother on a leash. So in that way I kinda get Bella, like why did he leave? Why is he so dramatic? Can he just stop overreacting?</p>

<p>In the end what lands Bella on this list is her unhealthy dependence on Edward, her boyfriend, and even when he wasn&#8217;t around she sought comfort from the her best bud, who was in love with her, Jacob. What Bella needed to do when she wasn&#8217;t around her over-dramatic, protective boyfriend was not hangout with her  best friend who has rage-issues and is also very much in love with her, she needed some objective girl friends like that girl with the glasses in her class who she could just be herself with and talk about her guy problems, how lonely she feels, her relationship with her parents etc. without fearing that they might jump her or expect her to give up her best friend/boyfriend. Girl friends are underrated and I feel if she had indulged in this well-known resource she would&#8217;ve had an healthy outlet and then not have to become the whiny, slightly insecure, knocked-up at 18 vamp/girl.</p>
<p><strong>2. Catherine Earnshaw</strong></p>
<p>Bear with me, it has been a while since I&#8217;ve read <em>Wuthering Heights. </em>I contemplated rereading it for the purpose of the blog post, but it would have been absolute torture for me. I know I am in the minority with this and many people adore <em>WH </em>as one of the greatest romances ever. I hated every minute of reading that novel, I started reading it because I love classics, I had heard from so many people how brilliant it was and because <em>Jane Eyre </em>is simply one of my favourite books ever. But alas, <em>WH </em>just wasn&#8217;t for me, all I saw was a couple who were simply put horrible people and did not deserve either of the Lintons, and I truly believe that if they had gotten together they would have made each other miserable, but that&#8217;s just my opinion. Much like <em>Gossip Girl&#8217;s </em>Chuck and Blair (cue attacks by Chair shippers).</p>

<p>I felt sorry for Heathcliff when Cathy first started entertaining Edgar Linton but then when he used Isabella to get back at Cathy, I was like &#8216;Dude, that&#8217;s so not cool.&#8217; Perhaps the Lintons were idiotic to think that Cathy and Heathcliff really loved them but how many of us haven&#8217;t fallen for someone and believed they felt the same way back? The famous scene is the one where she talks to the housekeeper about her feelings for Heathcliff and Edgar and she says:</p>
<blockquote><p>That will do to explain my secret, as well as the other. I&#8217;ve no more business to marry Edgar Linton than I have to be in heaven; and if the wicked man in there, had not brought Heathcliff so low I shouldn&#8217;t have thought of it. It would degrade me to marry Heathcliff now; so he shall never know how I love him; and that, not because he&#8217;s handsome, Nelly, but because he&#8217;s more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same, and Linton&#8217;s is as different as a moonbeam from lightning, or frost from fire.</p></blockquote>
<p>Beautifully-written, Emily Bronte but I call bull sh&#8211; if she was so in love with Heathcliff, the two of them could have made it work, none of this too similar nonsense (same argument I make against Chuck and Blair) and it was mean of her to just make decision without consulting Heathcliff and discussing it and then putting those poor Lintons through literal hell-on-earth and making me read all this so I that could pass English Lit Second Year.</p>
<p>Ok so I didn&#8217;t mean to get so carried away with either of these so I will have to split this post into two. Once again this is my personal opinion, I do have a post lined up where I list female literary characters that are awesome and look out for part two of this.</p>
